Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I used to go to the Pizza Hut in Woonsocket and really enjoyed the food there and gave them decent business. Then they CLOSED DOWN abruptly. So that was strike one on Pizza Hut. So here I am one Fall day with my wife. The weather is a little chilly, neither of us have anything to do, so we decide to drive the 35 minutes to go get some Pizza Hut in Pawtucket. I can honestly say that the BEST part of this experience was the 1/2 liter of Mountain Dew that I had with my meal. Start to finish, this place was awful and I'm so disappointed with how much Pizza Hut has changed that I'll never eat at another one of their establishments. The pizza is NOTHING like it was previously. It definitely wasn't prepared the same. I was disgusted with the chewy dough and the cheap sauce on the pizza that should've been in the pizza oven way longer. Next were the wings...the wings used to be my favorite thing at Pizza Hut. They used to put them through the pizza oven and bake the sauce right into them. They were delicious. NOT ANYMORE. The menu shouldn't say "chicken wings" it should say, "deep fried, oily batter with a tiny bit of 'chicken' (if you even want to call it that) in the middle". Absolutely disgusting. You can tell this place left the wings in the deep fryer for too long and that they don't understand the concept of changing the oil every once in awhile. So, besides the horrid food, the customer service was mediocre. Pizza Hut used to have actual Waite staff, now it's like your typical pizza shop where you walk up, order then pick up your food. The employees have no personality and you can tell hate their job. ( I don't blame them I would hate it to if I worked for a company that was once reputable and is now circling the toilet bowl like the pure liquid fecal matter that this Pizza Hut's food gave me). And just be aware that the parking here is horrible and you'll be lucky to get in or out of the parking lot without being hit by a typical unregistered, uninsured, unlicensed Rhode Island motorist. Stay away from this Pizza Hut and all others because clearly they've changed hands or ownership or something because they have changed so much for the worse it's like they are two different places. Very sad. Very unfortunate. But that's corporate America. I'll give my business to another establishment that doesn't half-a$$ things to save a couple bucks, thank you.

This is a new Pizza Hut and that it makes it much better than most of them. They have the new design and actually serve slices for those that don't want a whole pizza. They don't do the regular buffet that most of them do, but that's ok. Pizza was good, but cheese sticks definitely could have had more cheese on them. I always get ads from them and rarely use them, but will when I want a pizza from a chain, instead of a mom/pop place.

This particular Pizza Hut restaurant was very clean. The service I received from the people working at this restaurant was excellent... The prices were reasonable and that pizza was delicious. I will return very soon‼

Ordered delivery for the first time tonight during Patriots game. The pizza arrived about 5 minutes sooner than quoted online (40 mins during a game...not bad). The driver was presentable and very polite. The pizza was good and as ordered - but undercooked. Floppy pizza makes me sad.... Eh, something different to put into the rotation from time to time!

It's very busy because it just opened. I only got pizza but I look forward to trying other foods. The only down fall for me and this could be just me but some people might want to know is they only have Pepsi product. Also price was fair

Dry pizza. They were very cheap with topping( when you can count the pieces of bacon on a pie you know it's cheap). Not at all like other pizza huts I've been to. I guess I'll stick to dominos.

Isn't this one of only two Pizza Huts that sell slices? I can't possibly drive by and not sample this novelty. There was a nice selection of slices however only 1 vegetarian option- the old cheese standby. I ordered a slice of buffalo chicken and pepperoni. It was a little fore $5 for the two slices- which is on par. They threw them in an oven right there in front for a couple of minutes just to hotten them up real quick. Here's what I think about their slices: The right amount of sauce. The sauce is pretty ok flavor with a good texture to it. The amount of toppings was not too sparse, not too generous and seemed to be of average quality. The cheese was a perfect amount for my liking. It tasted pretty ok too. So far- pretty run-of-the-mill. The crust... well that's where improvement could be done. It was NOT greasy which I was expecting. It had a nice NY style looking crust however there was nothing NY style about the flavor and texture. The part that held the triangle was fine since it was thin and the sauce, cheese and toppings did most of the work. The bone was inedible. I broke them up and gave them to my dogs as biscuits. When I went to fold the slice in half the crust broke in half with a little snap. (see photo) For flavor, imagine a hot dog bun. Not a fresh one silly! An old hot dog bun. For texture, imagine someone sat on your old hot dog bun and forgot to wrap it up for a few days so now its mostly crunchy with a bit of softness in the very middle. If PH could develop a chewier crust that will hold up better during the reheating process I think they could have a solid new product line here. Especially if they served them in a drive-thru. A whole new world of fast-food pizza would open up.

Pizza is just plain disgusting! Was great when it first opened and has gone down hill since. Last 2 times my food was either overcooked to the point where it was black on the bottom or the last time undercooked where the cheese the the stuffed crust was still cold! They are expensive compared to pizza places around, I'll stick to Totis from now on

While the pizza, sides and desserts are tasty, the delivery service is terrible from this location. Over the past 10 times I've ordered from this location they've forgotten to bring my 2liter soda 7 times. A 30% order accuracy is nothing to be proud of. Even as I write this review I'm waiting for the delivery guy to come back with the drink I ordered. It's been over 35 minutes and the store is 5 minutes away. I know it's Saturday night but this is no way to run a business. I told myself if it happened again I would not order from this business again and will make sure that others know about the poor delivery service. With many other pizza places in my area it's less of a hassle to order from them. This place won't be in business for long if they keep this up.

Let me begin my saying I am a pizza fanatic ! I have come too this Pizza Hut several times to either get a couple of slices or order a pizza and they are delicious. The service has always been good. The slices are a good deal and they NY style so they're a good slice of pizza goodness. Now you may be asking, "why is he giving them only four stars ?" The answer is simple, they don't deliver my way even though I have asked them and they have told me that their range is four miles and I only live two miles away !! If they could possibly fix that I would gladly give them five stars !!

Lousy all around. Not only is this place primarily run by teenagers who just don't care, but on my first visit here we had to leave in the middle of eating because the fire alarm went off. The on duty manager thought it was funny, and spent the time were all standing outside flirting with the young girls who work for him. He didn't even thank the firefighters who responded even though this was (out of his own mouth) the third time they had had to respond to this restaurant for this same issue. The issue? They weren't properly cleaning their crumb trays. I'm sure the firemen, as well as we patrons, were glad to waste their time. Never again will I purchase pizza here.

I have posted in the past with negative reviews because I felt it was too new and needed help with staff training. We returned recently and have had a few good experiences. The staff concerns I had in the past seem to have been worked out. The food is ready on time (or early). Quality is good. Staff is good. The could be a little more generous on toppings, but the food tastes great overall. I don't understand why napkins are not on the counter where you pick up so you are left with no napkins to go, unless you want to search them out in the restaurant. Overall, there has been a MAJOR improvement in service and food quality. We will keep coming back.

first of all, dont drive there, its an old bank, and they are busy as hell, no parking and no room to maneuver in the parking lot. secondly, whatever you do, do NOT order online and expect it to be corect, or even acknowledged when you get there. twice I went, ordering it online. first time they overcharged me. ( my wife iordered it online while I was at work, so i didnt know i was overcharged untill I got home). I had to go back the next day to get my $3 and change. complained online, never got any response. second time, same thing, wife ordered online, when I got there, they had no record of it so I had to reorder it and wait. I got a pathetic "thank you" but again, no going above and beyond . Papa Johns would have given us the cheese sticks for free, or given us a free pizza for our next visit. so they dont care about the customer. but the food is good. I will NEVER go there, or allow my wife to order from there.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
