The place to be. Always satisfied. Pizza is awesome. I always order well done on everything. Trust me. They crisp it up.

If you want excellent old school RI pizza this is the place to be! I usually pick my pizza places based on whether there is a pizza described as the "House Special" on the menu. In this area that means you get a pizza loaded with meats and veg with a nice layer of browned cheese, the Pawtucket House of Pizza does not disappoint. They're generous with their toppings and their crust is an airy crispy but not thin delight. It even gets better as cold pizza the next day!

Love the food here. It is well prepared and very quick. What I enjoy off the menu: Pizza French Fries Steak Sandwiches I also heard the fish and chips are phenomenal but every time I call, they are sold out! Must be good :)

I am not a fan of their pizzas -too greasy for me even when you only get veggies and easy on the sauce... But if a grinder will leave you full and than some -enough to feed 2. They pack it in! Remember to get a fork and knife to eat them. Staff is great They close for the first 2 weeks of July every year

What happened to the fabulous home made meatballs? I can get frozen bagged ones at BJ's! Ugh...

Great food, I stumbled on to this place after ordering food thinking it was another pizza place, made my order then figured it out and wanted to be honest and not make the restaurant eat my mistake. I'm gal I did so. The food was great all of it. Pizza mozzarella sticks French fries all of it perfect. I will return soon

My triplet great niece and nephews always talk about this place, so we went. The staff is friendly and the place is very kid friendly. We ordered the pepperoni pizza. It was so good that I even the crust. It was all crispy and crunchy, with a nice amount of grease. I was very happy,as were they.

I have been eating here since birth. I get the special pizza almost every time. Anchovies on the side, since most of my friends are pansies. The crust is perfect and there are always tons of toppings. The staff has been there for decades, from the cooks to the counter lady. They know what they're doing and are consistent. The owner is adorable and smiles at you every time. Watch out for the two weeks they're closed in July every year. They all trek out to Greece! :-)

Ordered a large italian grinder today and it was great. Packed with meat and enough for two people. Bread was fresh as was all the other ingredients. I wished I lived closer and could eat there more often.

This place is awesome. Been coming here my whole life. I drive all the way from East Providence to get their food, and I seem to have a knack for craving them when they go on vacation in July. They've never, ever screwed up an order, and I've never gotten something I didn't like from them. Their salads are packed and plentiful. Their grinders are on fresh bread, and have copious amounts of meats on them. Their pizza is not mind-blowing, but still better than any chain. Also, they may as well be Five Guys, because a small order of fries from here servers 2-3 people. Definitely a favorite. My gripe with them used to be that they were cash only, but they recently fixed that.

Been coming here for years. Big sandwich fan. The Italian grinder is awesome. Also like the BLT or any steak. Portions are big. Get a large and bring half home for lunch tomorrow.

I've only been coming to Pawtucket House of Pizza for 4-5 months now and it's definitely been worth it. I love the buffalo chicken pizza, but make sure to ask for breaded chicken (much better!). They load it up with lots of chicken and cheese, and the crust is always crispy. The subs are decent, but I usually stick with the pizza. Staff is very accommodating if you want to specialize any orders. Overall, good service and usually don't have to wait too long. BUFF CHICKEN pizza all the way!

The pizza from this place is to die for. Just so amazing and yummy. If pizza is not for you that's fine they also have an amazing steak sandwich usually get it with everything. So much food in the sandwich that you could probably make another sandwich with the amount that is on it.

The only pizza joint I will eat at around here. Meatball pizza everytime, it's the good kind with the real slices of meatballs. And it's a nice touch that they remember me when I walk in! Great prices too! Only problem is that the meatball pizza is so good I haven't tried anything else!!

Peter used to have a pie that was "fantastic"! Now everything that you may order comes out extra well done. Why should I have to say that I don't want my pizza burnt? The help says that it is because they have a new oven. I say it is because they are more into mass production, "ie, money" then anything that may have to do with keeping long time customers. What do you think?

When you eat-in, pizza is served on a special tray that allows the pizza to cool without getting soggy. Makes big difference...crisp crust!

If you're health conscious, do yourself a favor and have an apple. Pizza is not for you. If you like good greasy, good tasting pizza with LOADS of toppings. Go here. I've been here a couple of times after sampling their pizzas at a birthday party and HAD to know where it was bought. I personally love Hawaiian pizza and highly recommend it from here. The prices are good for a large also. Try it out!

I have driven by this place for over 2 years wanting to check it out. I finally stopped tonight and man is it good! Don't make the same mistake as me; check this place out for your next pizza or grinder. Incredibly delicious! And great staff!

PHOP is the king of the greasy spoon pizza joints, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's cheap, momentarily satisfying, gut busting food. Sure, you will regret eating here moments after you begin to drift into a protein induced coma (what else could one do after slamming a steak sandwich the size of a Nerf football into their gullet?). And yes, the pizza is uber greasy, and overloaded with enough cheese to kill a dozen lactose intolerant people. But still, sometimes you just want to gorge yourself on bad things. PHOP knows this, and it's there for you.

If you need quick delicious pizza don't call Domino's go to PHOP. It's cheap the pizza is not overly greasy they are generous on the toppings and the people that work there are always nice. Added plus there's a liquor store next door so grab your pizza grab your beer and bring it home to enjoy!

OMG where to begin? All of my friends love it here and I do too. The pizza is greasy but the subs are what bring it home. The onion rings are also superb and the fries are good too. Love the chicken parm sub but my fav has to be the cheeseburger sub no pickles! Afforadable too and even has vending machines with vitamin water!! They don't deliver which sucks but the food is great and the people who work there are like the typical diner servers, they're pretty cool. Overall, I would definitely go here if your craving some greasy, delicious, hot "American" grub

Back in High School we used to get Pawtucket House of Pizza every Friday for lunch and it wasn't bad for a little pizza joint that I never heard of before--well, before HS anyway. The pizza was always hot, the crust was crispy and delicious and the cheese would ooze right off the dough, melting into my tastebuds. Sounds like a good pizza, right? It was...except for the grease. There was so much grease on their pizza I used to hold it up over my plate and watch it drip for a good 3 minutes before actually enjoying it fully. It was like a dripping faucet that wouldn't stop no matter how many times you turned the nob. Other than that, the pizza was good. I'll give it 4 stars.

Best Pizza on the Planet! No parking, but who cares. It is worth parking around the corner for.

  • Kathy S.

Food is good. Been going since I was little. Place stayed the same except the prices which just keep elevating. Parking is on the street which is always very busy. I always ordered the eggplant but they dont put much sauce even when I ask for extra so it looks like a very thin grinder. That made me give it less stars plus the last time I went the price went up almost a dollar from last time I went. The yummy cheesy greasy pizza is still the same at least for now , thank god Also don't like the way they look upset when the phone rings and they answer it. They used to give you large portions at a decent price...everything has to change sometime I guess.

Great Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Fast service. There's an extensive menu for a variety of sandwiches and pizzas. We really like the place. It's worth stopping in.
