B & m has been nothing but friendly and helpful as I tried to plan my rehearsal dinner from out of state. Their timely response to email and phone calls made the process a breeze. I can thank them enough for all of their help.

B&M Catered my wedding on May 3, 2014 - there are not enough words to say just how great they were. Six months before the wedding I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and didn't think I'd be able to eat some of the food at my own wedding... on a whim I called up B&M (who were already contracted with us to do the wedding) and explained the situation - without any hesitation the delightful woman on the other end of the phone assured me the entire menu for our day could be made gluten free and safe for me to eat (and other attendees with similar diet restrictions). The day of the wedding was just perfection, our guests still rave about the mussels and claim them to be the best they've ever had. And the servers and bartenders were beyond spectacular, respectful, courteous and so very pleasant... I would recommend them to anyone and everyone...and if you don't like seafood don't count them out - they have a huge selection of menus/items to choose from. Thank you B&M!!!!!!!!

B & M Catering catered a rehearsal dinner for our son this past weekend. Their staff did an incredible job. Their attention to all the details were impeccable. And the food was outstanding. Every one enjoyed the tasty mussels, steamers, chowder, chicken etc!! I had a wonderful time at my own party as the hostess because I didn't have to worry about a single detail. I cannot thank them enough for being such a great company to work with and for having such a professional staff!!! I look forward to working with you again in the future! This was the 3rd time we have used them and each time they are true professionals!!!!

I worked with this business from out of state to arrange a backyard bbq graduation party. In every respect they were easy to work with, helpful, and friendly. By the time I got to the house after the graduation, food was set up and guests being served. At the end of the party, leftovers were wrapped up and stored in the fridge, and everything was left clean. No problem substituting a vegetarian option in one of their standard packages. The food was simple, well prepared, and nicely presented. A nice business, may use them again for graduation number 2 next year.

We used B&M for a family reunion in Rhode Island and they were outstanding. Several months in advance I started getting prices on different menu options & as the RSVP's started rolling in I would consistently e-mail at least once a week to make changes & get new rates. It seems like they definitely have a teamwork flow set up as my e-mail responses were by a variety of people & they were all very helpful. They arrived on site promptly in the AM to start setting up & cooked on site, They served, cleaned up & provided us with 'to go' containers for our leftovers. Most important, the food was fabulous!

B&M catered our RI clambake wedding and they knocked it out of the park! As one of my city-dwelling bridesmaids said to me: "I expected to eat good food at your wedding, but that was some of the best wedding food I've had!" The lobsters were flavorful and cooked perfectly (AND pre-cut for easy, non-messy eating). Guests loved the handheld chowder and clamcake appetizers as well as the wieners (yes we did ;). B&M were a dependable, very-well organized, service-oriented, and an easy part of our planning. And most outstanding was the quality of the food - especially at their prices. Noteworthy: 1. we never felt pressured to buy anything but exactly what we wanted, 2. they honored the prices on their menu, despite having raised prices after we agreed on a date and menu, 3. they have extremely reasonable prices for bartending and open bar (such that we went with the full open bar), 4. their presentation was lovely and professional. Throughout the process, they went well-beyond was is expected of a wedding vendor. If I lived in RI, I would ask them to cater all of my events.

Writing my first Yelp review, so that alone should be a testament to how impressed my bride and I were with the job they did at our wedding. When we were looking to choose a caterer, we wanted great food with broad appeal at an affordable price. After doing some research, we found B&M to be one of only a handful of caterers that were within our price range. Our initial communication with them was a great experience; they were prompt and thorough and answered all of our questions. We decided to set up a tasting before making a final decision. The food during the tasting was superb and we loved everything. We were able to narrow down our favorites for our menu. When we went to pay, Mickey informed us that the tasting was complimentary! I believe his words were "If we can't sell you with the quality of our food, then we're doing something wrong." They were definitely doing everything right because we agreed in the parking lot that we would be booking them and sent a confirmation email shortly thereafter. On the day of the wedding, they worked with our day-of coordinator so we didn't have a ton of interaction with them. However, they still left a lasting impression. Everyone raved about the food and there was PLENTY. I wish I could have eaten more! I knew the food would be great but the service is what really impressed me. The staff was attentive, helpful, polite and gracious. They even volunteered to cut our cake for us! At the end of the night they had packed up all their stuff and put all the leftovers in the refrigerator at the venue. Unbelievable value. We were thrilled with them as our caterer and strongly encourage you to consider them. You will not be disappointed!!

I am so happy I chose B&M Catering! Last weekend I had my dad's surprise 60th Birthday. It has been on his bucket list to have a pig roast and he was not disappointed! Alan and Richard were beyond helpful, more so than I could have ever expected or asked for! They rolled silverware, carried 30lbs bags of ice, provided a barrel for our keg, and even took their time to hang a table skirt I had bought. Beyond them being amazingly helpful, the food was awesome! I was honestly a little skeptical of a pig roast (not on the top of my list!) but it was delicious. The pulled pork! Wow! I am still getting texts from people about how good it was! I was kind of only expecting them to have slices of pork, which they did, but they had the bbq pulled pork and bbq ribs as well. Everything else, from the corn bread to the bacon wrapped pineapple appetizer was perfect as well. I honestly can't speak more highly of the experience. They were kind, professional, courteous, and wonderful cooks! To top it all off, they cleaned up and set up a new buffet on one of the table I had and attached the table skirt! Talk about service! Honestly, all these 5 star reviews are totally accurate!

I can't say and rave enough about the amazing hospitality, generosity and if course delicious food that B&M provides! I recently hosted an event with them and they were super easy to work with, offered us the world and extremely affordable. They did everything they promised and beyond! From the friendly smile when they showed up and set up shop thru taking away the last bit of trash still with the smiles they arrived with...outstanding! Out of all the vendors we used for the event they were the only ones who 1) were friendly and 2) did what they were supposed to do! I would recommend B&M to anyone!

B and M catered my backyard rehearsal dinner and I couldn't have been happier. The staff was fun but still devoted and professional. The food was delicious and plentiful. My in-laws were eating leftovers for days! My favorite was the teriaki chicken but my husband swears by the mojo chicken. We both ate pounds of the cornbread. B and M made everything really easy and even offered a free tasting where they basically served you a meal consisting of all their dishes. It was really generous and made you feel like you were working with a company that really cared about you having the food that you liked best and that worked best for you. I was impressed and would recommend them to anyone based on their professional demeanor and delicious food!

I cannot begin to tell you how much we relied on these guys for everything in our wedding. We had a difficult venue, difficult rentals, difficult budget, difficult dessert and an AMAZING caterer who said "yes" to us every single time we asked them to handle another wedding reception task. They couldn't have been more approachable or easier to work with or more helpful and accommodating. We had the New England lobster bake. The lobsters were fantastic, and our wedding of big eaters couldn't keep up with the amount of steamers and mussels they offered. (Clams are my favorite, and I definitely made it up there for seconds and thirds.) Their staff was great, especially manager Tim, who we had meetings with before and who also was on hand during the reception. The staff was helpful and available, and besides friendly greetings, I barely spoke to them the entire night! We completely nailed it on picking these guys to cater the wedding; they really made it special night!

B & M catered our wedding in Sudbury MA and did a fantastic job. Tim and the whole team were enthusiastic, accomidating, friendly and professional. The food was delicious! If you are looking for not-so-formal food at a great price go with these guys, they do a great job.

This is a terrific business that helped to celebrate my friend's wedding with delicious food and service. Tim Walker, our point person for the wedding, was a wonderful help to making sure that the event went off without a hitch. From preparing food outdoors and carrying it up three flights of stairs into a building with no air conditioning, to helping me to move the wedding cake to make an extra table during the reception, Tim and his colleagues delivered a great meal for a beautiful, beautiful celebration. Thanks to B&M Catering for their help! Also noteworthy is that their pricing is very reasonable - if you're looking for a caterer for a function, make sure you call B&M Catering!

B & M catered a back yard party for my brother and sister in law this past weekend. They were awesome! Super friendly and delicious food! They got the pig roast which was pretty cool. Glenn would have us try some pieces and anyone who was curious he would show them the pig etc. All the sides were delicious as well. No complaints here! I'd definitely recommend them!

Hi had B&M Cater my 130 person wedding in Wethersfield, CT. My wedding was obviously not traditional but you can dress it up as much as like and still have amazing food. They did a great job displaying the buffet tables in the right way and helping with the set up of the tableware that we organized as well as the clean up. They were amazing, I loved working with both Mickey and Tim. We knew wanted to do something BBQ style and even considered a pig roast. The reason we chose B&M is because of their varied menu everyone has Clam bakes and BBQ but they have the most options of anyone else we looked at in the area. And come to find out they travel almost anywhere so geography is not even an issue. When we went to the tasting that Mickey set up we realized that we really much preferred the other meats over the pork and we had to choose so the extra time and cost involved in the pig roast didn't make too much sense for us. It's your wedding and there is a lot going on anyway the novelty of pig roast would be lost! All my guests agree that the food was amazing and the best food that they've eaten at a wedding! If I had to do it differently I would order a lot less food. I got carried away with the number of meats. We started with by serving Raw Oysters, steamed Clams and Clam Chowder - These were a huge hit! It's a nice detail that not everyone can have at their wedding. For the Meal I wanted to serve Salad and Rice and Beans which people loved. But I ordered way too much of the meat bc we wanted so many different varieties, Linquica, Pulled Pork, 2 different kinds of Chicken and Steak Tips. I could have done without something but it's hard to say bc it was all so delicious. And if your having a cake I recommend no Dessert or if your having Dessert I recommend no Cake. People just love the food so much. A big topic of discussion between my fiancee at the time and I were how we were going to have everything served bc we didn't want to have paper plates at our wedding. We went to a Party City type store and bought the square plastic disposable plates and they were perfect, they looked as good or better than real plates. This was after hours of deliberation of whether or not we should rent real dinnerware, the stress of thinking of who would clean that up and the likely hood that you would need to probably pay for someone to clean that up meant disposable plastic ware was the way to go. We did rent the real flatware from B&M which was perfect. To complete setting the table we also rented real Water Glasses which were at each place setting and we put a nice glass bottle of water which we bought at the grocery store on each table for people to pour themselves. Thanks to Mickey and Tim for working with me on this, I hope to be able to use them on another occasion on a much smaller scale (Don't plan on planning another wedding any time soon!)

B&M catered my wedding last night and they were fantastic during the entire process! The tasting was great and they helped us build a menu that reflected everything we wanted and gave great suggestions during the process. They were super flexible about letting us provide shellfish from our family's company as well as doing a half BYOB bar (we brought the beer they provided the wine and other beverages). They were prompt in arrival, and communicated a lot during the weeks leading up to the wedding. The food was delicious, everyone gave us compliments on it. We got a BBQ pig roast (which resulted in pork and pulled pork) with salad, molo chicken, grilled veggies, and several appetizers stationed and passed. They clearly are very experienced caterers. Everything looked perfect and was executed fantastically. They set up the tables, moved the chairs after the ceremony, cut the cake -- they did it al!!

their food was awesome and the people i spoke to leading up to the day were all very nice and helpful. we went through all the details of timing and what went where and everything was clear and set in advance. i'm not a super picky person and was good to go with the flow, i didn't want to have to worry about things on my wedding day. WELL, they interrupted me 5 times, FIVE! while i was talking to people and doing general wedding-y things like, you know, trying to have a good time, to ask me what to do next. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? "laura! laura! the cater is looking for you they need to ask you something RIGHT NOW, they're over there." no. joke. that was the last of the five times when i was like "i went through all of this a month ago with you guys, then a week ago and then two days ago. just do it and don't pull me from our guests again." also, after we decided on the layout (the company and i), they changed it and put the buffet right next to the table with us and our wedding party instead of in it's own tent. cute. lastly (and possibly dumbest), they put the wedding cake (which was brown) mixed in the middle of the dessert buffet, with a knife next to it, and someone NOT US cut it and it got eaten. someone ran up to me and had rescued a piece so we could have a bite of our own wedding cake. again, the food was truly great and the guys that run the company are nice, but the people that actually came out to do it didn't get the memo or didn't care. if you decide it's worth the risk of them pissing you off at your event or adding complication to your wedding day, take the time when you get there to clarify what is and is not ok for them to do. 5 star food but they only get 2 because they actually were retarded at my wedding and no one should be pissed on their wedding day about things like this, especially when it was all planned out in black and white in advance.
