If I could give them a no star I would. Not for their food, but their attitude. I ordered egg drop soup and scallon pancakes to go. I got back to my office ... it had hot and sour soup not well packed.. it leaked in the bottom of the bag and no spoon. When I called to complain the woman at the counter, who took my order, and could not give me the time of day because she was preoccupied with making something out of a box, told me that I ordered egg drop soup in my mind.. I find this hard to believe I never get hot and sour soup because the hot spice bothers my stomach. Shame on them.. will never go back... incorrect order, no spoon, bad attitude and after spending $8.37, no fortune cookie. Bad business practice.. they have lost a customer for a few bucks. Next time I will spend a little more and go to Jackie's galaxy.

This place is a horrific excuse for a Restaurant. The food isn't that great at all. The customer service is terrible. The prices that are posted online on YELP and a few other sites are about 40% lower than what they actually charge. When I called and asked what was going on the girl who answered the phone refused to give me her name and said that she didn't care, we already paid so were out of luck. She then went on to tell me that she didn't care if I wrote a review on YELP or Facebook because "we already have bad ones so what's the difference." Can't even begin to describe how infuriating this experience was. Will NEVER EVER go back! All future customers BEWARE!

I have one word for this place: GROSS Anyone who says this place has GOOD food may need a taste bud transplant. My wife and I walked in and sat at the bar. We decided to order a scorpion bowl and a very simple app platter. We picked the American Chinese staples: sweet and sour chicken, boneless spare ribs, and chicken wings. Let me tell you, it may have been the worst food I have ever been served. Burnt sweet sauce on wings that was like black tar stuck in my teeth, boneless spareribs that were clearly DAYS old and chicken fingers soaked in grease. The scorpion bowl was horrible as well. They have it posted on the menu for 8.99 and the lady behind the counter asked us if we wanted a bowl for 2 so I said yes. We get the bill and a regular scorpion bowl for 2 was almost 20 bucks. I don't care about spending the money if it was well made but this bowl was awful and cost more the one at the new Jacky's Galaxy on Mineral Spring and that is a very nice restaurant. This place is dump. Please, I warn you, DO NOT waste your time. Total bill with tip was almost 40 dollars and we left most of the food and drink right at the bar. For an app platter and one drink! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I wanted to stick my finger down my throat after leaving. It was that bad. Thanks

I've been eating at China Jade for the past 20 years+, I have literally never had a bad time here. The food is always delicious, it's really top-notch Chinese food. Beyond anything you can imagine. The pu-pu platters are DIVINE! The service is always fantastic and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and they are open at very accessible hours. I highly recommend.

Great family owned & operated business. service and food consistently great. I have to dock them one star for appearance. It does kind of look like a rundown rocky point ride. I'm also docking them the star for no free soda refills. Come on with that! but I've been coming here since I can remember and never had a bad experience or incorrect order. For 30 years, that says a lot.

If you can get past the windowless, garish storefront reminiscent of a Rocky Point amusement park ride, and don't look too long at the dated 1970's interior decor, you will find (like a stale fortune cookie) something interesting inside. The food at China Jade is very, very good. They offer traditional Chinese fare, and provide large, fresh portions with surprisingly friendly service. The egg rolls were some of the best I have had anywhere, filled with hand-chopped, fresh ingredients. I also enjoyed the chop suey (just like my grandmother's favorite Chinese restaurant used to make.) The portions were generous, and the prices reasonable. And if the lack of atmosphere offends you that much, there is always take-out.

My husband and I have been going here for years. The food always tastes fresh and is always good. Ive never placed an order and come home to find something that i did not order like so many times at other places. The owners are so nice and friendly and you cannot beat the portions!

Yikes... just don't. Came for take out after a vet appointment. We got the Gai Po Lo Mein, which was just sloppy gravy with HUGE pieces of pork and meh chicken and shrimp (it sounded really good!). Sesame chicken was coated in corn meal so much that you wouldn't know it was chicken. There are much better area places.

This isn't a 5 star fine cuisine restaurant, but as far as mid level Chinese food standards go, this place is a decent choice. It's a good place to grab some quick takeout too. Sizable portions, reasonable prices, and best of all, the take out is usually still nice & hot by the time I get home. I would highly recommend the dumplings. Big, fat, and tasty.

I normally don't go to Chinese Restaurants unless I have heard about it before, I have had some bad Chinese in the past. But the parking lot had a lot of cars so we took a chance. But the food was very good but the best part was the Pork Lo Mein. My wife only liked the Pork Lo Mein at Islander in Warwick RI. But the Lo Mein at China Jade has the right kind of noodle and dark sauce my wife likes. It is not as good as Islander but it is an acceptable substitute. My son had the Chicken Fingers and they were really good. The Steamed Pork Dumplings were VERY tasty, but the wraps were a little thicker then I like. Over all I really enjoyed the food there and I am looking forward to going back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
