Friendly service and awesome food. We are staying at a campground down the road and since it was raining decided we would get pizza for dinner. Make sure you haven't eaten for a couple days because the portions are HUGE and that's no over exaggeration. I have only had the pizza here but watching others get the burgers and the pasta dishes they would be better eating with a shovel. With all that said haven't disliked anything we have eaten and all other patrons have left happy as well.

Great local pizza spot. Delicious, reasonably priced pizza. Love the mozzarella sticks, chicken parm, eggplant parm. Dining room has casual, local vibe.

I've probably eaten here 30 times. I've probably gotten takeout a lot more than that. The pizzas are all pretty good, nice crust, good sauce. I'm a big fan of chicken bacon ranch and spinach artichoke. Once, the crust was undercooked. I've never been displeased with anything from here though. Main street burger, good. Calzones, good. Parm, awesome. The beer selection is very limited. The desserts are good with big portions. And the decor is red sox/sports themed. There are a few tvs usually on espn. All in all, check it out for the food.

Negative: No changing table in the restroom. Positive: they have fried pickles. Pizza was slightly above average. The waitress was polite and the prices were fair.

Great stop on the way home from Rhode Island beaches. I like the meatball sub the best. Main Street is a must try.

Been coming here on occasion and probably should more often. The service, ambience, and food are all great. Prices are fair for what you get. Will be coming here more often.

Close to my office, convenient & friendly. Ironic that pizza is in its name because their other offerings are better than the pizza. Blue plate & sandwich specials, pasta dinners, delicious salads. I'd recommend it!

when I order a Greek salad I expect it to come with real lettuce not the white stalks from cuts of leftover romaine. It was like garbage disposal junk that should have been thrown out.Do yourself a favor do not get the Greek salad unless you like the garbage white leftover lettuce and by the way CHEAP on portions. Totally disappointed to get home to leftover trashy UN fresh salad. They SKIMP on salad. We ordered 2 Greek salads but NEVER again. I used to get pizza there OK fine not as good as uncle tonys but acceptable. But when you can't make a decent salad no point eating there.Only two times in 5 years was the pizza crust undercooked.Let's say they need a better chef other than that it is very nicely decorated.

So I just picked up my take out order. I ordered whole belly clams with fries ($15.25) & a cheeseburger grinder and fries. What I received was a large order of fries with (9) whole belly clams. what a rip-off, l called to inquire that's was about right, said they portioned them on scale but they declined to tell me weight. Only explanation was that the clams were really expensive. Cheeseburger grinder & fries were ok. So for $ 30.00 because I tip on takeout. My experience sucked.

This place is wonderful and packed both times I visited. I live outside Philadelphia and travel by car to Newport RI periodically. The first time we headed home my fiance was hungry after picking him up in Kingston. We sat down at dining bar while we waited for his to-go meatball sub. Everyone was very nice. Now, I don't usually eat meatball subs, because they're messy and I RARELY find a meatball made as delicious as my mother makes them. Her Irish father learned to make them from an Italian guy and my mother can't make less than 70-90 meatballs at a time; that's just how it's done. There are other secrets but I can't divulge here. I also don't frequent small restaurants in small shopping plazas because I'm weird. Anyway, we hit the road and I'm driving because again, I don't eat meatball subs. But the smell overwhelms me and I ask for a small bite. Then another, then another, then another. I'm almost driving off the road trying to get good bites. This sub was one of the best things I have had at a small restaurant. We loved this sub so much that the next time we went to RI, 7 months later!, we made sure to stop on our way home, even though it was pouring and we had a long trip in front of us. Despite it being a Monday and storms in the area, the place was full. We ordered ahead for a to-go order but changed our minds as we walked in the door. The waitress happily accommodated us and set a table. We sat down, wolfed down our food and paid the check, all in about 15 mins LOL Another tasty sub after a great trip (we got engaged!).

My fave restaurant in So. County. Huge portions. Pizza is above average but entrees are awesome, especially eggplant parmigiana over pasta. Tomato sauce is the best around. Side salads are a meal in themselves--best salad dressing is creamy garlic. Staff is helpful, quick and courteous. Can't say enough good things about Main St Pizza in Ashaway!

Chicken bacon ranch tomato pizza is yummy. Desserts are good. Buffalo chicken bites is a very generous portion. Has a few beers to offer. Not a full bar.
