Damn fine food. $20.14 for two breakfasts and coffee. One was a "special" coffee, Jazzy Java, I think. Good flavor. Mum had the omelette, greek. Portion on the omelette was really good. I had the apple crepes, the batter was a little thick, but very nice tasting. The crepe was good sized, but with the price of apples being so low, they could have loaded it up a bit more. I was left wanting more. It came with one egg and I had another added, I love eggs. If Kountry Kitchen is reading: Don't be stingy with the fresh apple filling...ty.

I have lived in Rhode Island since 1984 and have gone to Kountry Kitchen many weekends with family and friends. And if ever home on a weekday or holiday, we never hesitate to go! It"s always a special treat for us -- their giant pancakes (Apple or cranberry with walnuts - yum!) and crepes are outstanding, eggs are always perfect, and their specials are always changing to meet the seasons or holidays. Above all, their wait staff has been so tremendous over the years that I asked Marie, one of the owners, how she managed to hire such outstanding staff. She looks for the right fit and it really shows. She should be proud of her hires and the work that they do. They obviously love their jobs and they end up being their for many years before graduating college and moving on. But not to fear as she hires one legendary staff after another! Kountry Kitchen is an iconic Rhode Island restaurant that has been here for many years and I hope for many more to come!

From out of town, located this place on yelp. Glad I stopped. Very friendly service from Lauren (?laura), Good coffee, delicious homefries and eggs made perfectly for me. Originally came in also because they have gluten free bread. Had the sirloin steak, would not order that again, though, thin and rather bland. Bill was under $12, not shabby for steak and eggs, possibly paid more for the gf bread, which is understandable. Would recommend to others.

Kountry Kitchen is good for a regular breakfast. It's a homey restaurant in Greenville, so it's exactly what you would expect. The breakfast isn't bad, but I've definitely had better. The bacon is always shriveled up little pieces and the pancakes are more like Eggo frozen pancakes than fluffy fresh ones you would expect. They do have a fantastic Corned Beef and Hash omelette, however. The corned beef hash is made fresh in the restaurant and it is delicious. They also do take out, which is really convenient if you want a quick breakfast but don't want to go through the motions of having a sit down restaurant breakfast. Overall, they're yummy for what you get, and I'll continue going, but it's certainly not the best breakfast around.

Decent place for breakfast. Nothing special or over the top but the food is good and the service is usually pretty quick. If going on a Sunday morning be prepared to wait for a table. Lunch is also served and isn't bad but again nothing overly exceptional.

The food here is a solid three. You won't be disappointed but there's also nothing too thrilling going on. One thing that does stand out are their breads (blueberry bread, coffee cake), they have one or two as a special every day and I always enjoy them. The food is incredibly reasonably priced (I got two pancakes, three pieces of bacon, and a scrambled egg for 5.75!!) and the service is really friendly. So while not a place to expect crazy creative breakfast items, if you're looking for typical breakfast fare, you 'll definitely be satisfied. I don't even know how many meals I've eaten here, pretty much since birth, and I've never disliked my food!

The service is always top notch. The food is always fresh and delicious. Try the eggs benedict, best in the state.

Walked in, there was a wait, so we put our name in. Twenty minutes later, the hostess started calling names of people who came in after us. Obviously she never wrote our name down so after three more parties were called, we left.

3 star for overall...don't get me wrong, the food was great and the waitress was nice. But my egg pouch was a little wet...? Sausages were a little odd as well. Came a little over an hour before closing so when they were closing up, they didn't even notice we were done eating for a good 10-15 min...we had to go up to the register. Even then, they continued their business plan before helping us. Besides that, everything was delicious!! Will be coming back again hoping for a more attentive service.

I have been here a few times. I normally come here with my staff when they want to get up for breakfast on a weekend. Every time I have come here I have been satisfied and have had a decent meal. Last time I came here I got the Old Timers Breakfast which comes with Eggs, Bacon, Home fries, Biscuit & Gravy, Toast, and an order of small pancakes. Super Healthy I know. The meal was good. They have really good home fries and biscuits and gravy. The draw backs of the meal were the bacon and the pancakes. The bacon was the super thin crumbly junk that you would find on a dunkin donuts sandwich. In my opinion bacon makes or breaks a breakfast meal. The pancakes seemed like the Eggo Microwave ones they were alittle rubbery and too perfectly uniform. My friend got pancakes too and his looked home made. So it just seemed weird. The prices were average and the place is very quaint and homey. The few times I have been here I havent had a bad meal that is why I don't mind coming back when my staff wants to eat here.

The service and the ambience of this cute diner really made it. From the start, our waitress was incredibly friendly and welcoming to a big group of asian girls that stand out like an elephant in a desert. We must have been the loudest too, but still, our waitress was super accommodating and always refilled out coffee. She also asked if we wanted to do separate checks before even ordering which made check out so much easier at the end of our meal. Maybe it's because I was visiting Rhode Island from Boston, but everything on the menu sounded delicious and had EXTREMELY reasonable prices. I've never heard of an eggs benedict breakfast option for $8.99! The food was on point, especially the home fries!! Perfectly crispy and so deliciously seasoned! Don't know what it is because I've never had home fries that tasted like that. It must be their secret spice blend... I'd recommend going all out and getting the Old Timer's Breakfast because that sausage gravy and biscuits with eggs, home fries, pancakes is an amazing deal. All my friends were incredibly satisfied and stuffed. If I lived any closer, I'd come here everyday for breakfast

Over Priced I am having issues writing this review. I live right near this place and the breakfast itself was actually pretty good but I just cannot give this place more stars. The biggest issue here is the price. Breakfast in general is eggs, toast, maybe a pancake, and some kind of meat. None of which is expensive to make. So how the hell does this place justify charging 8-9 dollars for a side order of corned beef hash (what they call real hash not canned) and 11 bucks for a 2 item omelette. My wife and I finished our breakfast and get the bill, now I have to specify that we ordered 2 normal items and hash and coffees, the bill comes for 2 people 37 dollars, 45 dollars with tip. 45 freaking dollars for breakfast!!!!! It's not like we had a couple of mimosas with this! Any other breakfast place this meal would have cost half that amount. So I really don't care if the food was really good because we can't afford to go back and we won't. Sorry locals, thanks

Fantastic sweet potato and chourizo hash!! I would love to try their homemade corned bef hash soon. They offer GF bagels and toast! Friendly waitstaff, clean and family friendly. Worth dozens of trips....try the specials!

I've been here a few times with my fiance and his family when we're in town. Whether there are five or fifteen of us, breakfast is always a huge hit. I stopped in with a bunch of Nick's relatives on Sunday since we were in the area for a wedding. The menu is pretty expansive and while there's nothing particularly "gourmet" about it, it's a perfect spot for a hearty, comforting breakfast. I ordered the apple walnut pancakes which came with eggs and bacon - all for $5.65. Perfect for a chilly fall morning and incredibly delicious. The strawberry crepes are also fantastic! Service was quick which is pretty impressive for a group our size at the height of the morning rush. Good thing we made reservations!

Good breakfast, good service. Went on Saturday for brunch and got right in. Only recommend that they serve better bacon. They currently use the microwaveable kind that tastes like cardboard. Homemade hash is decent, nothing to brag about.

Service was super fast. This place feels like you are at a B&B. the staff was all sweet and the menu had the usual fare plus some creative specials. Coffee flowed, prices were reasonable and there were no complaints with the food.

The service is hit or miss here. I've had wonderful servers and I've had forgetful servers, so I suppose it evens out to meh. The food is what it is....standard breakfast food. I come here with my family whenever I am back in town for a visit. The home fries are still as good as I remember it when I started coming here at the age of 8. And, no...I am not going to tell you my age.

I've come here for lunch when I used to work in North Providence, but this was my first brunch experience. The parking lot was full up, so my initial reaction was to worry a little bit that the wait would be long. Happily it was only about a 5 minute delay. The waitress was a friendly girl who took our orders right away. I was impressed with their "home-y" atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The menu has typical breakfast fare and a variety of options. My only complaint is that the bacon was very sad. They looked like frozen bacon that you put in the microwave.

This is not your average place. You can get Great food and most of the time you never have to wait in line. Sundays and Saturdays there might be a wait but it's worth it. One of the best places for home fries and let's not forget Friday night where you can get a great meal without having to deal with the crowds.

Eating at Kountry Kitchen reminds one of eating at his/her grandmother's house. The restaurant appears to be in a converted cape like house and sits by a lake. While the lake is in the back of the building a large parking area sits in front. Inside the restaurant has multiple rooms. Some rooms have wall paper and the back room over looking the lake has pink upper walls along with brown paneling . The windows have with lace curtains while the tables are covered thick plastic table clothes. The decor is both charming and the restaurant is very clean. Not only will the surroundings remind you of grandma's home but so will the food. The menu has one of the largest breakfast offerings and everything is well prepared. I've tried the eggs and pancake dishes which were good but by far my favorite dish is the Belgium waffle with fruit. You have your choice of fruit (I usually choose the all fruit :strawberries, bananas, kiwi, and blueberry) and the waffle is topped with whipped cream while heated syrup comes on the side. The ample fruit on the waffle makes the dish quite filling. The friendly servers are always ready to refill your coffee. You pay the petite hostess on your way out. I'm not sure if she is the owner but she is always very cheerful.
