My husband and I have been ordering from Great Wall for a year n have had no complaints so far. We order here when we also have company n they too enjoy the menu. My hubby is a very picky eater and he always orders the dinner combo 11. He likes their chix fingers, beef teriyaki & fried rice. I have tried the Dragon and Phoenix which is super tasty. I also regularly order their house Chow Mai Fun which I really love. Sometimes I cannot understand what the lady on the phone is saying but that's only the least of my complaints. Delivery is also average. I've tried other Chinese locations down the road and they are not as tasty and service is not as good. I just keep going back to Great Wall.

Food is very good. You have to try the scallion pancake and the hot and sour soup. I'm not gonna lie, I've had better Chinese food in other states. But here in Rhode Island this is the place to get Chinese takeout - hands down.

I have had there food before and it was good but oh boy did hat change. There ciicken finger are small and when I say small I mean tiny. If you want beef in your lo main you better put your own because there nothing in there. And the egg roll are horrible. We're kinda upset we liked there food but we will not order there again!

Ordered delivery from here this week I was very very happy. I had the pork lo mein and chx soup. Both were very fresh hot and really delicious. Will certainly be going back.

For the price, the food is great. You can get most of the combinations on the lunch special for like $5 and change. Its not like the greatest chinese food you'll ever eat, but it is quick and it's great for the price. The lady at the front is always nice and gives a big smile when she hands you the order, so I had to go with all 5 stars on this one.

Delivery was fast and delivery guy pleasant. Food, however, was just OK. We ordered General Tsos combos, and the chicken was very good, but the rice was disappointing. I couldn't finish my eggroll because it had too much celery. Good price, OK food. For the money, I prefer China Fun.

I just recently got a job and wanted to celebrate with my favorite food (chinese), however the food was mediocre at best. The general tso's chicken was made with the really low quality part of the bird ( no white meat at all ) and had so much sauce i had to wipe them off. The crab rangoon were soggy and had nothing but a dollop of cream cheese in the center ( no crab or spices? ). When i bit into the eggroll, a ton of grease squirted out of it and the pork-fried rice was just average. Im disappointed because it was a waste of money. :(

Tried for the first time and had their sesame chicken with pork fried rice and most say I am impressed the food was just fantastic and their egg rolls were just perfect (not greasy, saggy didn't fall apart after the first 2 bites... nice and crispy but not hard) ohh so yummy!! Ended up having 2 hahaha.. the portions were pretty good unlike some other places I actually got enough rice to go with the amount of meat.. Delivery was super fast (foods still nice and hot!!) even though it was pouring out... Only complaint is that I didn't get nearly any broccoli with my order even though I asked for extra but all in all would totally get again

I ordered online from the dinner special D5 (chicken fingers, egg roll, and beef teriyaki) with shrimp fried rice, and right away received a call in regards to extra charges for the shrimps. My order took about 30-40 minutes to be delivered. The delivery man was pleasant but very demanding when it came to the tip. He tried to run away with my change, instead of waiting for me to tip him. My food was still hot, which was a plus. I asked for extra soy and duck sauce, and instead got three of each (not enough). The beef teriyaki wasn't cooked throughly, and they gave me three shrimps with the fried rice. Overall experience: unsatisfied customer

My delivery came super fast. The food was hot. The fried dumplings were burnt, a big let down. The filling was good and the dough is homemade and all I could taste was burnt dough, very very disappointing. Just a big let down. I'm not sure if I'll order again.

The food is good, but the delivery service has gone down hill. My husband and I have ordered there on many occasions, but now they consistently deliver to the wrong place even when we stress the correct address when ordering. The last time the delivery guy was so rude I decided to not order from there again. The food isn't good enough to be treated like crap every time they make a mistake.

After moving from Worcester (which has the beat Chinese restaurant in the world!), the boyfriend and I have been desperately searching for a decent Chinese place in Cranston that can deliver to our apartment. The employees were friendly, but the food was unremarkable. The search continues!

Delivery Service is the best. Dumplings, LoMein, MeiFun, Chicken and Broccoli, even Chicken Fingers are all good. I wouldnt bother eating there though as it is very small. Coupons on every menu for free stuff makes it the best.

I recently moved neighborhoods and havent known where would be my new delivery place, so tonight in my moment of late night hunger I turned to yelp and tried Great Wall since it had really good reviews and I could order online. I am glad I did! My food came really fast, much faster than the online order suggested, like in half the time, and Im really happy with my order! My delivery guy was really nice especially considering that I do not have a working door bell. Its not my favorite general tsos tofu Ive had, but its also better than other new places Ive tried. My scallion pancake ruled! I am excited to order again and try more things! I literally went out on a limb with this one and Im glad I did. I also find their prices really fair and the portions are huge. Im definitely gonna try a combo next. Thanks Great Wall!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
