The food is great. But it is a little pricey. I pad $14 for a large cheese pizza. At first I thought this price was acceptable because the box was very large so I assumed it was a 16 inch pie. However, when I opened the box at home I was surprised to see a standard 14 inch pizza. Very disappointed. The pizza itself was great.

Dissapointed with our order of pizza and buffalo wings. Wings were probably the most disgusting I've ever had and I've had a lot in my time. In a state like RI where great pizza joints abound you think someone on the staff would realize this and say something, I mean not only was the taste and texture third world country but the appearance immediately screamed gross. They got two stars because the pizza was acceptable to my 7-6 and 5 year olds but then again I sometimes catch them eating paper. Maybe I'm being harsh... But when you're in the pizza business in RI (which is know through out the US for its food quality) you better be ready for some critical reviews.

Recently added a star. I really like Venus pizza. Co-workers and I go there at least once a week. Originally we tried the place out because they were the only local place that serves gluten free pizza. I have a gluten allergy however my co-workers do not. We all quickly realized it was some of the best pizza around. Gluten free or not. According to the self proclaimed pizza connoisseur I work with as long as frank is working you get a perfect pizza"frank gets a metal. He will make you wait because he can stand to see a sub-par pizza walk out the door." Anyone else and they are still well above average. For you g-frees out there Venus has the best shells I've ever had. They are actually so good I let frank talk me into trying g-free white pizzas. I've had several different combinations of meats cheeses veggies and toppings. All are expertly handled. Their shells are larger than any I've ever seen, but you pay for it. 4 dollar up charge for g-free. This is one of the reasons for the four star review. The other is the fact that I've tried nothing else on the menu. Venus rocks. Ask for frank.

It took them 45 minutes to serve a small cow zone and 1 small fries , which are very oily and soft.. Would not recommend this place to anyone .. Will give them negative points if available ..

Average at best and if disappointing was a category this would rate 4 stars. Tempers and behavior of the staff is better than watching T.V. but can create an anxious atmosphere when others don't enjoy it. With so many options of dinning or even Pizza in this town, do yourself a favor, opt for something else.

Pizza is great, they use the little peppori's that curl up. I'm a sucker for those. Good selection of drinks, not a bad place to grab a drink and watch the bands they have come in.

Great pizza and a good selection of drinks. Fast service and pretty good menu. Sure beats any chain pizza place by a long shot.

I've ordered pizza from here several times. No complaints and they have the pepperoni that curls up when cooked!!

Pizza is pretty good (especially the pepperoni). However, the chicken gyro I ordered was pretty bad (more of a soggy chicken fajita than anything). Also, the chicken wings were some of the worst I've ever had at a pizza place (somehow tasted like chicken soup!!). Definitely better options in Coventry!

Worst food I ever had. Pizza was burnt. Chicken cutlet grinder not even edible. The chicken was not even breaded lettuce was mushy. The food is trash and I couldn't even eat it... I'm disgusted at the waste of money... Please don't even waste your time with this poor excuse for a restaurant.

Food took too long to come out. I was surprised they served us with plastic cups and paper plates. Pizza was extremely oily. Food at best was average and service was terrible. I would not recommend this place.

Tried this place on behalf of a friend. Service was friendly and kind. Restaurant was very nice inside and clean, a little more upscale as pizza places go. Pizza was just mediocre, very greasy. Probably won't go back.

i went here a month ago, and it took me that long to recover to write this. i'd say it was garbage, but eating out the trash would be a 5 star feast compared to this atrocity. got there after leaving some other dump down the street which looked even worse(but must've been better) , and ordered the delmonico steak and cheese. had never seen that at a pizza/sub shop before, looked interesting, figured it'd be a high quality steak and cheese maybe since it cost more than the regular cheese steak.. the 2 people at the counter looked at each other and laughed, they probably knew it was shit. it took a half hour for our food to be done(and we were the only ones in the place... no surprise), so that was kind've a joke, half hour at a pizza place? was starving at the time, almost anything would've tasted good. looked at it, and it looked horrible, but all that matters is the taste. the taste was double, triple horrible. most of the "meat" wasn't meat, it was straight up fat. i'm talking huge strips of fat, at least 8 ounces of it altogether. the other few ounces tasted like mushy cardboard. my friends didn't like the place either, one just got salad with no dressing or anything so i won't count that. the other got fries that were bad, and a gyro with the wrong kind of chicken. the other persons review was right, it's definately a dive, onto cement. just shut it down.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
