Just visited today. It is a little on the 'needs a face-lift' side of things from the outside. The inside is not overly comfortable either. Very 70's fixed in place booths. The service was good. They serve both Coke & Pepsi products, all be it in cans. But you actually have a choice. The family and I decided to spread it around. Hot Wiener apps, the wife had a Deanna Burger and I had their Calzone. The burger was really good (I only had a bite). The wife really liked it and she is hard to please. I loved the Calzone. It was one of the best I have had. It was packed with the cheeses and meats and the crust was fantastic. The Hot Wieners were not NY System or Wien-O-Rama, but they diner quality, which is to say not too bad. Over all I am a fan and will return. They also do great meal deals for the pizza side of things and offer delivery. The prices were very good.

I used to really like this place but NOT ANY MORE. I will NEVER EVER EVER go back. EVER. Why you ask? 1. The staff is super rude. why? don't know. don't care if you hate your job. i've been in a million times + you can't even say hello + seem super annoyed any time you get a call or walk in? maybe you shouldn't have a business with PEOPLE then....so sorry to inconvenience you with my order. 2. A couple weeks ago I went with a friend + we got sandwiches-- the eggplant parm + buffalo chicken wrap. they were so gross we couldn't finish them. hard/cold/tasteless....i also got the chicken noodle soup---which was always awesome ---but this time it had nothing in it but broth....great. 3. I've been ordering the Greek Salad from here for over 2 years with no onions + topped with turkey deli meat...BUT WAIT FOR IT...... all of a sudden yesterday 'they never do that' + 'refuse to do it'. ok. that makes sense. what?!?! you have it right there JUST PUT TURKEY INSTEAD OF CHICKEN ON TOP and TAKE THE ONIONS OFF. its not that hard. why would you refuse such a simple thing and be SO RUDE ABOUT IT? its not like I was asking you to go hunt down a turkey, kill it, cook it then put it on my salad... The quality of everything has gone down... from soup to nuts + i'm over it. I used to put up with the attitudes there because the food was decent... nope--- not any more... SO OVER your staff's attitude + SO OVER YOU SANTOROS. If you want tasteless disgusting "food'" for your meal + to have a hard time ordering it from rude "I don't want to be here/talk to you" staff.... this is your kinda place.

My husband and myself have just had the weiners and fries here. Now, it's the only place I will have weiners and fries. The best.

Wieners were old, tough and chewy. Staff is not friendly. Place was empty and it took five minutes to be acknowledged and another five to get our order taken. Atmosphere: orange plastic narrow booths, trailer park decor.

Eh. Waitstaff not attentive and the food was ok.

4% charge added to any transactions using credit cards. When I pointed it out, the staff told me it was for "the privilege" of using my credit card. I cannot recommend any business that punishes its customers for using a convenient payment method. Your credit card fees are not my problem. Owner needs to learn to have some respect for their customers and not take every opportunity to wring extra money from them. Pizza sucked too, but I will never come back because of the poor attitude. Staff was pleasant, but its hard not to get into an argument when they are so cavalier about their "right" to recoup credit card fees.

Stopped back in for a weiner fix. Checked out of curiousity to see if the "error" had been addressed ... No! Will not be back. Ever!

Santoros is your classic town pizza place. The place hasn't changed in years, and I like these types of restaurants. I've been eating here forever and I've always thought their food was good. The weiners are great, fries are perfectly crispy and the menu has everything you would expect from a little joint like this. There are a few booths to eat in, not a huge interior but it doesn't feel overly crowded. The staff was fine in my opinion, decently friendly and the food was done within decent time. I really like Santoros, no reason I would stop coming here.

I used to like this place a lot. Until they decided that they could no longer put extras on their salad, even though this had been the norm for many previous visits. It does not seem to me that they have any interest in keeping new customers. Customer lost. Perhaps this will be a wake up call that adding items that you already have on hand should not be such a break of protocol. I'm sure that any other place in Kent County will be happy to add something from another page on the menu. I do hope that they will correct unreasonable practices such as this one, because their salads are delicious.

Guess what - I started with the chowder - it was fresh and above average. Told by a friend to have a dawg....the traditional Rhode Island dog is OK...I have many other roadside places that provide more what I would want in a hotdog. The pizza was pretty good though.

Visiting Rhode Island we searched for the original kind of grinder (that's an Italian submarine sandwich) that my wife remembered from her New England childhood. Lot's of Subways around and they are fine for what they are, but... With just a couple hours before our plane departed we found Santoro's just a few miles from the airport and there was what we were looking for: a great (and inexpensive) Italian grinder toasted crispy on the crust, soft on the inside, with a variety of ham and salami inside, and dressed with a subtle Italian dressing. Lettuce, onions, tomatoes and sliced peppers finished them off. They came in choice of 8" or 12" sizes. People dining close-by had an enormous plate of fries with their hot dogs -- looked good but we had no room left. Kudos to our server, who took time to explain to this Southerner the differences in the Italian grinder and other forms of the sandwich on the menu.

I love this place. we visit from Seattle every year and have to have our 'weenie fix' at least once. We have never been disappointed with their food. I had the chicken soup.. wonderful!!! Hubby had the biggest Greek salad I have ever seen and of course we all had weenies. Reading the reviews about the pizza I think we are going to go there tonight for the pizza. The staff was attentive and polite ( what's with the bad reviews...? they were great!) I am giving it 4 stars because we have eaten in some $$$$$$ places and were SO disappointed and vowed never to return (AND have said so in a Yelp review) and when we go to Santoros and get great food and at a great price. If you go there expecting fancy schmancy well then you wont find it there. Just really good food and a price that wont break the bank,

If you're getting pizza in the West Warwick/Coventry area this is the place. I've never eaten in (the place does need an interior re-do), only stopped to pick up. The parking situation is a little underpowered. There are probably 6 parking spots and on a busy evening they're all taken. If you go, be careful that you don't back up into anyone. What I really care about is the pizza. They do it justice here. My wife and I always split a pizza down the middle (Pepperoni v Sausage). The sauce isn't too tangy or too sweet, it just sits in the tomatoey (just made that up) middle. Never too much sauce, or too much cheese, which allows for a well balanced pie. Simply put, this is our neighborhood pizza joint. It's not gourmet, but it's good.

The staff is very put off by you coming in (we moved here from Providence and went there a few times because it is close but NEVER AGAIN), the driver drives like a maniac, and they burned the pizza we ordered. We brought it back to them and the guy tried to argue and say it wasn't burnt. The cheese bubbles were black and the bottom - which he refuse to look at - was black. No refund, no replacement. We will not go back.

Good prices, good service, good food. What more can you ask from a resturaunt? Both coke and pepsi products are offered, delivery is available and credit cards are now accepted on phone orders aswell as orders placed in strone.
