Great service and amazing sandwiches. The two men in the back making the sandwiches were outstanding. After my husbands mixup with the order, they took back out sandwich and remade it. Without an eye roll or drama! Place was clean and free soda refills with various types of sodas. I would come back.

Firehouse Subs is an oft-overlooked sandwich shop nestled in the rear of the Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing. Parking is ample, seating is ample, service is fantastic. The thing that's most prominent with this Firehouse Subs is the service. Every single time I remember they exist, head over for lunch, and walk through the doors I am greeted with an overly ecstatic worker giving 110%. It's actually quite amazing. The ordering process is fairly straightforward. Order your meal, decide if you want the drink and chips, then sit down. They'll finish your order, and come out calling your name to deliver it. The food is actually pretty great! If you're into soda, they have a Coke Freestyle machine which my friends and coworkers go crazy over. The location is probably the single-biggest detractor. It's nestled in the rear of the Berkshire mall, and always gets put out of mine when people look for a place to grab a bite to eat. I'm not quite sure what could be done to fix that, but I'd guess it would be a boon for business once discovered. My personal favorite is the Engineer. The medium sandwiches and chips are enough to get me though the day and last until Dinner. If you're feeling especially bold, order a large. That's a whole lotta sandwich.

Very delicious! I had the New York Steamer sub. The staff is very kind. On your bday you could go in and just show your ID and get any 6 inch for free. I saved $6.30. You don't have to buy anything to get the free bday sub. Great place!

I'm not huge on chain sandwich places but this place is great! I don't know what it is about this place but I loooooooove the BBQ Cheddar Brisket, one of my favorite sandwiches out there. If you want a quick, good lunch, this is the place to go.

Friendly place with quick service. The sub's are amazing much better than Quiznos and subway. The BBQ brisket and the meatball sub's are delicious and the soda machine is incredible with an abundance of soda selection and combinations.

I was at Firehouse today and a customer did not receive their order right away. When an employee asked if they had been served they told them that they had not received their order. The employee responded by giving them a free sub coupon. This speaks volumes to their character. Kudos to you!!!

I went here with my fiancÃ©. He got the smokehouse brisket sub and I had the steak and cheese sub to go. Both were delicious. There is a shelf full of hot sauces we'll be trying next time.

Always a full and happy camper when I leave this store. I haven't tried a sandwich there that I haven't liked yet. The staff is always friendly. Much better than Subway - especially since their sandwiches are never lacking substance. The soda machine seems to confuse many, but the option of so many flavours is fantastic. I like that I can get my Coke Zero with a flavour and not have to drink as many calories when I am out to eat. They even have a fireman's hat for kids that eat there - I'm jealous that I don't get one. Medium combos are definitely under $10, but a large combo could bump you a few cents over $10/per person.
