Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Always great. But don't come late in the afternoon, they may be short in some meats. They attract a good weekend crowd!

Been here before with friends - Good place. Brought the boyfriend to check it out. Tonight all we see is a bartender and 1 server. Big group in back taking an art class. Whole place well over 1/2 full. Got our drink order pretty quickly but no menus. Then menus and drinks empty. Food arrives but no drinks. Nacho chips were tasty but had to remove quite a few burnt chips from edges. 2 of the wings undercooked. Still no drinks. And no plates. Oh and karaoke? Yeah don't do that crap during your after work and dinner hours. We can't hear much less talk over the very very off key singing. Great idea after 8:30-9 when we've all had a few drinks. Still waiting on those ...watching other tables finish their 1st beers and leave. No one can talk or hear. 8 tables cleared in last 30 minutes Oh mah gawd. And who decided kids screeching karaoke was a good idea in a bar Take them home. Play guitar hero already

At Burning Bridge for dinner with friends at7pm on a Saturday night. We were lucky enough to get a table immediately. There was a great band playing country music, the place was hopping. The waitress was so nice. Drinks, appetizer and entrees were delivered at a great pace and, we were pleasantly surprised since it was busy. We had a pit beef quesadilla, pulled smoked chicken sandwich, Uncle Donnie's salad with chicken, and mac & cheese topped with pork BBQ. Everyone was seriously happy with their choice...oh, and the pub fries were great too! Great atmosphere, good food & music; we will be back ;).

You probaly wont have a server here to refill your drinks or suggest any food, since the bartender takes your order brings ur food and never comes back and doesnt smile. My mom has good things to say about this place. But i dont like walking up to the bar to ask for more soda and to ask for a check

Skip the food and order drinks only. Service is SLOW. Great spot to have a beer and sit out front. Ordered the Mac & cheese with pork on the top. Yuck! The dish was the special on the night...... terrible. I will go back for drinks only.

This place is a nice place. Lots of open space and plenty of seating but get there early, it fills up fast especially on the weekends. Was the for the first time to eat on a Sunday. Had a hankering for some brisket and cold beer... Well for the cold beer. Was told by waitress that they sold out Saturday night and didn't have any for Sunday. Now this is at 1 pm mind you... So I settled for something else... THE PIT BEEF SANDWICH w/ au jus and fries... Fried pickles was the app! It all was YuMmY! Nice smoky flavor and tender on beef! Pickle we're done right and not soggy and batter failing off... Did I mention the beer was ice cold! Well I decided to give her a again. Took the wife for dinner at 6 pm about on Friday. Place was packed but we got a seat with no prob. Didn't wait long for service. We place our orders no apps... Wife got smokey spicy turkey wrap with chips and side of fries as app and I got "create your platter" w/ 2 sides: chose the BBQ brisket and BBQ pork w/ slaw, beans, and BBQ sauce. Our food came out and we rose into it. The wife loved the her wrap. It was smokey, spicy, and delish! As for mine, well if you haven't notice in a bit of a bbq snob. I cook BBQ every week and eat it every week also in a judge for the Kansas City Barbecue Society.. Portions on platter were small. I just got one slice of brisket and about 4 ounces of pork if! What the heck! I first noticed the brisket. Dry looking, no excitement in color. The same with pork. Nothing was sauced which is a good thing. Don't sauce my meat and don't try to hide bad BBQ! So I start eating, pork is first victim... 1st I hit the rub they out on , slight hint of smoke barely then then taste buds kick in. I'm eating roasted pork! Disappointed in that now time to hit the favorite the brisket! First bite was a disappointment. If I wanted pit roast I would have went to the dinner! DAMN! Moved on to the slaw and beans. Beans doctored up cans with a Spicy something maybe cayenne there ok, now the slaw... Creamy, hint of mustard. Not bad but can use some sweetness to it... I let wife sample my order and she came up with same opinion. She shared a bite of her wrap since I wasn't thrilled with my choices and WOW! That's a Damn good wrap I told her.... So any way... I will got back to try the other stuff but not the QUE not worth wasting money on... Maybe the turkey wrap or another pit beef Sammy... Hmm... Or wings now they looked good... They got 3 stars because staff was really good, atmosphere is great, Turkey wrap, fried pickles & pit beef are good plus the beer is ice cold! That's my take on it. Stay tuned!

My husband and I frequent Burning Bridge Tavern. We probably eat there about once a month. We love the food, especially the BBQ options, wings, and quesadillas. The drinks are good, my husband prefers their very own beer, which is a unique feature. The service leaves something to be desired, however. It is not consistent by any means. We have had wonderful, attentive servers. We have also had servers that seem like they could care less about our table. Sometimes it is definitely due to lack of staffing- one waitress taking care of the ENTIRE front of the restaurant.

I had been here once before so I knew the exact location of this place but it can be a little hard to spot if it's your first time going there. It's down near the river on the side of the bridge as you enter into Wrightsville. I went there to meet a small group. Upon arrival the place was pretty busy and got more busy during the time we were there. The interior is nice, well lit, and somewhat trendy. The crowd was a combination of some bikers, blue collar workers, and other casual folk. Primarily country music played over the speakers until the live county/bluegrass act took the stage. The music was very loud and we had some difficulty hearing each other at our own table. When we arrived many of the tables and seats were taken however we did find one table large enough to accomodate our group that was not yet cleared off from the previous party. When we asked that the table be cleared so we could sit there, the waitress scoffed and rolled her eyes. She did clear the table but her reaction to our request to sit at a clean table was unprofessional. Once we sat we needed an additional chair and when we asked for this we were told that we had to find on our own by the same waitress. Again, not very welcoming or accomodating. We ended up having this same waitress for our table during our visit. They offer a bar with several taps including an exclusive beer made by Lancaster Brewing Company called Burning Bridge Red. They also seem to specialize/push their Crush drinks which you can get in a variety of frit flavors. The menu features mostly bar foods however their claim to fame is mesquite smoked bbq items. I ordered a burger, which was cooked nicely but salty. We were told their fries are hand cut by the waitress but this was not the case. There is an interesting item on their menu that I have not been able to receive a straight answer about. I even asked about it the first time I went here. It is an onion burger where in the description it states that it has carmelized onions and is "grilled with onion spices". We asked the waitress about it and she immediately said she did not know and the look on her face matched her answer. This is the same response I got from a different waitress the first time I was here. She then saw the deacription on the menu and told us that it was a typo and should say 'slices' instead. I did not feel comfortqble with the accuracy of her answer. Other than the saltiness and the non hand cut fries one member of our group said their pulled chicken was dry. It is hard to complain about the food though because everything on the menu is nicely priced under $10. When it came time for our bill we asked that it was separated. One person only ordered fries and paid for them in cash. One member in our group had some issues because when the checks came out he received two separate bills with two different amounts on them. It was brought to our waitress's attention and when the check was brought out again the same issue happened. As a matter of fact, this happened three times before the check was accurate. We discovered that the waitress tacked on the fries (that were alreay paid for and put on a separate check) onto this check. We are not quite sure how this could happen other than a possible attempt at double dropping by the waitress. Overall, the place is clean and the prices are great. They offer live music. The food had mixed reviews at our table but I still think defenitely worth the price. I give them three stars based on these things but the customer service (at least from our waitress) leaves much to be desired. I can recommend this place for a cold beer and quick meal after work. I will most likely end up here again in the future so hopefully I get a waitress that cares a little more at that time.

I don't know people say the service is bad, I had a great experience! The food was excellent, it came out hot, and there was a killer special. Add fries for $1, yes please! Fries were crispy and hot, just perfect. I sat at the bar for lunch and the bartender Lindsey was attentive and quick. I honestly have no complaints at all! I will definitely come back...maybe next Monday when the special is on again and I'm driving through. I had he pulled pork sandwich and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. I want to order another for later. It's only $5! That's cray cray!! The BBQ sauce was also on point. Honestly, check this place out. If you're worried about the service, come for lunch.

The service here is terrible. We live down the street been here a half dozen times and really want to like the place but just can't. Food is so so. Live music is nice but please can someone bring me a beer in less than 20 minutes?

Stopped in on a Sunday-they were not particularly busy at the time. The beer was wam and the service quite slow. Might stop again just to check it out again.

Stopped by for lunch on a random Wednesday and I loved this place. Atmosphere is nice with exposed brick walls and a big bar. The menu was solid. I ordered a pit beef sandwich which comes with BBQ sauce and cole slaw - delicious. Service was great - My sandwich came out in less than 5 minutes and the server was very nice.

Great good, wonderful atmosphere. I've never had a problem with bad service. Maybe a bit slow when it's busy but nothing that's not understandable. Kid friendly, free peanuts, amazing great live music. Love this place.

What a shame. This place has great atmosphere and the food is good but the service is AWFUL! Last night was the third time I was there and each time it has been bad. Doesn't seem that management is interested fixing the problem as service has been an issue from day one.

Nice local bar/restaurant with good food and drinks. Noise level picks up after happy hour but outside seating is available. Live music on weekends and some week nights.

Horrible! First time we went the food and service was great and it was busy. Walked in...hardly busy at all and the Pulled Chicken was dry and tasted like it was microwaved. Worse the bartender who served us stood 5 ft from me and didn't ask how the food was for 10 minutes. She stood there chatting. My plate was pushed away uneaten. Then she had the nerve to ask if I was finished without still asking if the food was okay! Then they charged us for the sandwich ! It took another 10 minutes to get the manager to take the cost off!

I like this place, and it's name is fitting. However, I will likely never go here again because of the nearly non-existent service. I've given it several chances at various times of the week. Simply put, two servers cannot serve 60 people. I've waited an hour for apps and beer.

  • Josh C.

This place has a great atmosphere and could be so much more. The food is good but not great and the beer list is sufficient. Service however is sub par. Or waitress brought the wrong beer twice after waiting for 20 minutes. I could have walked down the street to another bar, gotten a beer and walked back in the time it took to get a beer. I really want to like this place and for it to succeed but something needs to change with the service.

came here for the first time on a friday night around 7. it was full but we were able to get a table right away. service was pretty good as was the food. i had a pork bbq sandwich and it had great flavor. fries were the frozen food service standard variety. DH's burger was good but on the small side. fried pickles were really good. on the whole, prices are very reasonable but they correlate to the smallish portion sizes of fairly average food. what i liked the most about burning bridge was the atmosphere. they serve roasted peanuts from a barrel and people throw the shells on the floor. the bar is huge. the tables are carved wood and you sit at stools. they normally have a band on friday nights and when we were there it was bluegrass. and, drum roll please....it was all non-smoking! we will definitely be back here.
