My new favorite Chinese buffet. Grace has been my go-to for the area, but Sakura really won me over. The food is very fresh, especially the sushi. I would honestly never expect sushi of this quality from a buffet. Most of the other food is what you normally expect to find at a Chinese buffet, but it's kept warm and the quality is well above average. As other reviewers have mentioned, they don't have a soft-serve ice cream machine, so be aware of that. I usually ignore the ice cream anyway, so this really didn't affect my experience at all. Overall, a fantastic place to eat and I'll definitely be back.

Basic Chinese buffet. Crab legs tasteless, need to be cooked in salted water. Fake fried scallops were very disappointing. General Tso's very bland with no spiciness at all. Sushi so so. Surprisingly good salmon. Servers were very nice and at least it was clean

Skura is pretty much what you'd expect from a chinese buffet. They have plenty of classic chinese dishes to choose from like lo mein, general tso, and chicken on a stick. They also offer a chef at the buffet that will cook hibachi food for you, as well as steak, oysters, shrimp, etc. They don't have as many options as a neighboring buffet, but it is reasonably priced and fresh. Skura is a great stop for anyone that is hungry and craving dine in chinese.

It's a newly opened Chinese buffet in town. It's not as big as another Chinese buffet in this area, but I actually like this one better. This buffet has fresher, better quality and taste food. Last Saturday, I had lunch buffet here. For cheap lunch buffet price, there were cocktail shrimp. Sushi bar is always fresh and loaded with fresh made sushi rolls. Now this is the first choice for me when I am hungry for some Chinese buffet food.

A lot of options for you to pick from...and their lunch buffet is really well priced at about $8. You really can't go through any drive through for much less than what it costs to get this buffet for lunch.

Located in the old Bonanza building past the Faxon exit in Williamsport, you will spend $10.99 on the buffet at dinner time and roughly $2.00 on drinks. They have a Hibachi grill inside also. It's a newer establishment, so for the most part it appears clean and maintained. Though I did have to wipe food away from our seats before we sat down. The food is standard food that you can get at any Chinese buffet we all agreed, though the sushi bar ad hibachi grill was nice and the cook could help you build your plate for them to grill. I have marked wait service but it is purely for drinks.

Really good food!! Its always fresh.. and hot.. they are always replacing the food trays.. and it is nice and clean...the sushi is amazing!! not your typically buffet sushi.. The sushi I had here was way better then the sushi I had at hana (which sushi tastes frozen and gross).. Sakura's food is great.. I come about twice a month. good value!!

I've had multiple meals here and, while there's always some mediocre offerings, I've found a lot of excellent food (for Chinese buffets) each time. They have all of the same stuff that every Chinese Buffet has, but they generally taste better here. However, they also have a much better Hibachi-lite service, where the guy is always ready and waiting for you to pick out your food and cook it up for you. He also grills these really nice steaks (again for a buffet) and if you time it right you can get a big piece of steak. Overall, this is probably my favorite Chinese (Style) Buffets that I've eaten at, and I'm only giving it 4 stars just because it doesn't quite compare to other restaurants I've given 5 stars to.

Sakura is not a very big restaurant but all the employees are very nice. They don't always know what you are saying so I had to repeat myself quite a bit. We came in and they took our drink orders and we hit the buffet. My family immediately drifted towards the hibachi. The chef was already waiting for us. He was not very nice and spoke very little English and was very frustrated with us when we couldn't understand the sauce choices. The hibachi was very good but the flavor wasn't in the food it was covering it. We sat and ate for awhile before going back for more. The next plate I I got was filled with the pre made food sitting out. Let me just say one thing... hibachi is their best thing. The food wasn't that fresh and was cold. I didn't like anything. After I wasted half the plate because I couldn't take it anymore we went back up and had sushi. The rolls were very good. Not as good as wegmans rolls but still very nice. Dessert was very coffee oriented... coffee mousse, coffee cheese cake, and coffee ice cream. I'm so glad I'm used to the caffeine or else I would be up until midnight. :) So all in all it was pretty good but we have restaurants that we like better.

This restaurant has only been open for a month or two and it's excellent! It's better than Grace Buffet in Montoursville, all the food is fresh, the chicken is tender and there's a big variety of choices fully loaded buffet.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly.
