    It is overpriced Asian food.

I love, love, love, this place! It is always a crowd pleaser. If you are dining with someone & it's their birthday, let the staff know. They will play an adorable rendition of Happy Birthday while disco lights light up the restaurant. The food and service is excellent. The food prices are fair. The restaurant allows you to bring your favorite wine and they will provide a wine holder with ice free of charge. It doesn't get much better than that. Yum-o!

So the mermaid appetizers are so perfectly done. The sauce is just on point. I wish it was made into a meal of its own. That good. Pad Thai is well prepared, nothing too out of the ordinary but just good flavor and good portion. Thai tea is vey delicious. Service is really good. Staff is very attentive and on top of things. Refills on drink, on point. Overall a great experience and good food.

It's restaurants like these that make me happy to be alive. Definitely one of the top ten meals I've ever had. We started with beef satay and "little mermaids" which were little fried shrimp wontons. Both dishes were SUPURB. The beef was served with a peanut sauce and the combo of flavors was just perfect. The beef itself was thinly sliced, very lean and cooked to a perfect medium. For dinner we ordered the house special which was an 8oz lobster tail with shrimps, scallops and vegetables in a red curry sauce. For $23 this was probably the best bargain I've ever had. The drunken noodles were also amongst the best I've ever had. For thai food it doesn't get much better than this. The setting itself is bright and airy. The place is super clean. The server was attentive and the pacing of the meal was on point. Very rarely do I walk away from a meal with no negatives. But this was the exception.

This is the Best Thai restaurant I have ever been to! Great environment! Love almost everything on the menu. I always order spring rolls, pad Thai, drunken noodles, panang curry, and papaya salad. Basil fried rice is the best! So much in love with this place.

  • Traci S.

Excellent Pad Thai and Spring Rolls. Great service too. BYOB but we usually go before the movies and not interested in drinking. Nice place for a birthday celebration where they sing at your table.

The place and the food is awesome. The service is great and the drunken noodles are the best.

First class Thai restaurant and surprisingly good considering our other dining experiences in Wilkes-Barre. The soup and appetizers were delicious. We both got red curry, I got the chicken and she got the shrimp. Both were good and well flavored with big portions. I really liked the homemade condiments that they placed table side to kick up the flavor of the food. Recommended if you are in the area.

By G-d, that was a fine dish of Pad See Ew! Noodles: properly cooked to a firm consistency but not "al dente". Broccoli: Crispy, fresh, but not raw. Sauce: earthy with a hint of sweetness. Service: friendly, attentive, courteous, cheerful, and responsive. Decor: simple, comfortable, local, and clean. Prices: moderate to low. Food: outstanding! I strongly recommend a meal here. I will return on my next visit to W-B.

I've been here twice - both times the dishes were pretty good. Most recently, we both ordered the basil fried rice - one with chicken and 5 on the spiciness scale, and another with pork and a 3 for spiciness. My chicken basil fried rice had a kick, but not the 5 I was expecting. The waiter made it seem like a 5 was off the charts, but it tasted like any other spicy Thai dish. The flavor profile was better than I expected, but didn't have the complexity of the flavors I had gotten used to in Thailand. Overall, Thai Thai is one of the best things that has ever happened to WB.

If you like spicy food this is the place to be. I purposely recommend the drunken noodles and the Thai iced tea.

The only thing that makes this place worthwhile is the customer service and even that is not enough to make me coming back to Thai Thai again. The food is not authentic specifically because I asked the manager if it was and she stated to me it isn't because they don't have the capacity to make authentic curry or sauces for the food they prepare. Do not order their soups unless you're looking to have little to nothing for dinner. Their pad thai has a distinct flavor that confirms that lack of authenticity in their cooking. It is the only Thai restaurant in the area and I suspect that is the main reason people frequent there. I would suggest making a trip to Philadelphia or NY for a more worthwhile Thai experience. The two hour drive is better than sitting at this restaurant eating Americanized Thai food.

Convenient location in the square. Good pad Thai and drunken noodles. Skip the green tea ice cream as it's not too good plus it comes with sprinkles and whipped cream which is just weird to me (Not that I don't love sprinkles). If it's someone's birthday, watch out for disco fever and Hoppy hoppy burfday to yu, cha cha cha! -_-

Best Pad Thai I've had since moving to PA! The lunch specials are good and range from 7.95-8.95 and include entree and small salad Also, had the Tom Yum soup which was yummy but it was ~$6 for a small bowl The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the Panang Curry was on the lunch specials menu (reg price ~$13)! (asldo, just an FYI, they add $2 to an entree if you want pineapple in it!)

Delicious! Top notch food from the appetizers to the desserts. They even have tasty juices to try. Very classy atmosphere. You can go here dressed casually, but I would suggest to go slightly dressed up to blend in. Their other location in Scranton is equally as good.

I ALWAYS go to Thai Thai when I am in Wilkes-Barre! great for Gluten-free options. Friendly staff who recognise and welcome me even though it could be months between visits. Fine dining in WB!

  • Elle W.

The staff is great, very accommodating. The atmosphere is fun, it's pretty causal and its BYOB so that's kind of fun. The food tastes great...though every time I go I keep getting the drunken noodles they are just so delicious!

Thai Thai is fantastic, and it holds its own in a part of town with some serious competition in exotic, upscale dining experiences. It's always crowded here, and it's always loud. I would recommend reservations for evening or weekend dining. It's a fun place to celebrate your birthday, thanks in large part to the special music and the dancing servers that define the occasion. I usually dine here in a group, and I usually bring the kids. There isn't a kids menu, so be forewarned. The Thai iced tea is a hit. The green curry is my favorite with tofu. I've had several of the duck dishes as well, and they've all been fantastic. The service is courteous and accurate; it lacks a bit in the friendly department, as I think (and this is just speculation) they let the stress of the crowded restaurant get to them a bit. The Drunken Noodles are delicious, but that'd be my third choice after the aforementioned dishes. The tofu appetizer is really tasty too, even for non-tofu lovers, I'm told.

The atmosphere is very nice with linen napkins and white table cloth, which is probably why the prices are much higher than a typical Thai restaurant. I ordered the Thai Spring Rolls ($7.95) which came with 3 crispy spring rolls that were served cut it half for 6 pieces. They were bland. They had carrots, cabbage and clear noodles in them. I also ordered Pad Sew Eww with Tofu ($12.95). This dish comes with Chinese broccoli. I asked to add regular broccoli which I knew they had from other dishes on the menu. They said broccoli would be an extra $4. I asked the waitress if she was sure and to verify if it would cost that much more to just add another vegetable to the dish. She explained that broccoli is "very expensive". Her manager indicated they could add just a little bit of broccoli for $2 but if I want more it would be $4. Obviously I said no thanks! Broccoli should not increase the cost of a dish by nearly 30%. When the dish arrived, again it was a little on the bland side. The Chinese broccoli was good, the noodles were firm and well cooked. Just lacking taste. I'm visiting this area and picked this place based on the other reviews and I'm quite disappointed. I guess Thai restaurants in Chicago are a dime a dozen but heck of a lot tastier for half the price.

Good food, reasonably priced lunch choices. Walls were dirty, needs an update. Neat old time down town neighborhood check it out!

Unfortunately a recent dine-in experience did not live up to the last take-out from the Scranton location or the dine in experience in Wilkes-Barre. Food was mediocre this go around.

What makes Thai Thai so Good Good? Well, it's owned by a Thai family. The more you travel, the more you find Thai restaurants tend to be owned by Lao families. Thai Thai is owned by the Sreesontis - natives of Thailand and mainstays in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. Visitors here should expect authentic traditional Thai cuisine with more than 100 menu items including duck, seafood, fried rice, Thai Curry, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, chef's specials, and a vegetarian menu. Dessert choices include mango with sticky rice, Asian cheese cake, fried ice cream, and Thai custard and pudding; all of which help massage the mouth after some of those spicy entrées. Personally, I love the Drunken Noodles; and the mango rice for dessert is a staple. Advice to first-timers: make a reservation, and park in the little YMCA parking lot around back. You can count on one hand the number of classy, worth-every-penny Wilkes-Barre dining experiences. Thai Thai is one of them. It's not only the best Thai restaurant in town, it's also one of the overall best. Thai Thai is to Thai food as its neighbor, Katana, is to Japanese. Thai Thai is also a BYOB, and you'll want to bring your appetite as well.

We ordered pad Thai and basil beef fried rice. Excellent. The service was friendly. We eat Thai often and this is one of the better ones we've visited. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and service. Hot and spicey soup, pad cashew and drunken noodles, recommend them all.

  • Aaron D.

Food's good, but not worth the wait. The whole time I waited for the meal I could see through the windows all the downtown restaurants where I would have already been eating. Maddening. Also, it was very cold inside. Update. Twenty minutes later. Still no food. We have been notified that our wait is so long because they only work on one ticket at a time. There are tables of two all around us not eating because they are trying to cook for a table of twelve before starting anything else. No way to run a kitchen. Gordon Ramsey would have a fit.

Thai Thai was one of the first places I ever had thai and now that I have tried a few more, this is still one of my favorite places to visit when in town. Love going in for lunch... given a small salad and service is usually pretty quick with good portion sizes for the lunch price. Great selection to pick from. Easy downtown location with many places to park in the area. Staff are always very nice as well. Would recommend this restaurant.

Best restaurant in Wilkes-Barre. Have eaten just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Some of my favorite standbys are the Gulf of Siam soup (be careful - I order all of my other dishes with "4 star" hotness but only do 1 star here), Goong Panang, and Holy Basil Duck. Getting hungry as I write this review. Great staff and management make it a pleasure every time we visit.

Came here for lunch. The service was prompt, extremely polite, and the food was above par. It wasn't too terrible crowded and the noise level is low enough that you can carry on a decent conversation with your counter part. I would recommend checking out this place.

Sometimes I'm a hater. I like to joke about my homeland of NEPA, but the food scene has improved since I moved away. Thai Thai is a good example of this. We were able to get a reservation for 9 people on a Friday night just a few days in advance. I'm no expert on "authentic" Thai food, being as that I'm a white chick from Pennsylvania, but I know what tastes good. I went with the Pad Thai as I usually do, and it was delicious. The shrimp and chicken tasted fresh and it wasn't greasy. I went with a 3 out of 5 on the spice scale and it had a nice kick. I also sampled the following appetizers: golden triangle: nothing special, would not order again (I much prefer fried soft tofu, not the firm tofu they served); curry puff: tasty, samosa-like, would get again; thai dumpling: good flavor but there was something about the consistency that I didn't like; thai spring rolls: yummy; calamari: standard fried calamari - not bad but nothing special. I also sampled my sister's fried cheesecake and was surprised by how good it was. It wasn't overly dense or rich, it was just right. Oh and the workers definitely have fun here. I guess this is a popular spot for birthday dinners, because more than once during the night, the lights went out, they fired up the disco ball party lights and they played the happy birthday song. The servers came out & danced & made the birthday boy or girl dance with them. It was super fun. I'll definitely return to Thai Thai when I'm in the area. And you can't beat the price. Eight out of the 9 of us split the bill and it came to less than $30 per person. That's with everyone getting an entree + multiple split apps + a few desserts.

We have never had a bad meal here. It's BYOB, so that helps cut down the bottom line. The noodle dishes are fabulous- and always a little more spicy than my husbands duck dish. Make sure to ask for the spice tray- each little jar holds a unique flavor profile. If you are ever there when the peanut shrimp with broccoli is on special - get it! You won't regret it.

I have to say, I think the Thai food here is much better than the Thai food in Philadelphia. I've been here a few times, the first time was on a snowy night after driving all night from Canada. The food here really hit the spot. I had the pad thai which was surprisingly good. The noodles were thin and springy, the lime, bean sprouts, and chicken were flavored well. The pad see ew was also pretty good (the first time I had it unfortunately they had run out of a lot of the ingredients for the pad see ew, but I had it again... how it was supposed to be). The broad noodles were thick and springy again, the smoky soy flavor was good, and there was just enough spice to linger on the tongue. The service here was also pretty great. Overall, pretty impressed!

I was very fortunate that Thai Thai was located so close to me! The best thai food I had so far (trust me, I eat out A LOT including many thai restaurants). Delicious starters = curry puff For main course, you can't go wrong with drunken noodle, pad thai, basil fried rice, panang curry and the list goes on :) Again, another hidden gem in Wilkes Barre that will be missed since I no longer live there. Very friendly owner and staff providing great service.

I love Thai Thai. I've been eating lunch here for years and have never been disappointed. They've got great lunch specials. We've got a sweet thing going on, Thai Thai and I. Once during a quick lunch with a friend, we ended up in tears when we noticed that the menu spelled calamari as "caramari". We weren't even high. Now, please don't label me ignorant but I can't help that I find that funny. Anyway, I think the cook tried to get back at me the next time i was there, when I ordered drunken noodles medium spicy. Alas, I was again brought to tears, but this time not from laughter. I couldn't help notice that an unusual amount of kitchen staff were now in the dining room watching me turn red from one very spicy dish! It was all good though, as it cleared out my sinuses and we all now what spicy food does to your sex drive! Anyway, dinner is good here to, and you should just come here and get some food and make your own Thai Thai stories come to life.

  • Meg E.

The drunken noodles are amazing. The fact that they will make any dish with your preference of meat is very accomadating. I recommend that if you are trying it for the first time that you come for lunch. That way you get your moneys worth and a good idea of the atmosphere. I personally wouldn't bring my young child here. ITS A QUIET PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE WHERE BUISNESS GROUPS COUPLES AND FRIENDS GO TO ENJOY A RELAXING MEAL AND MY TODDLER DOESN'T DO TRANQUILITY HAHA.

Love their drunken noodles and Tom yum soup ;) friendly staff. I miss going since I moved

Thai Thai is consistently delicious, BYOB, and you can even get in and out in an hour during a work lunch. This is also THE place I take my vegetarian friends when they are in town - HUGE veg selection. The Drunken Noodles are a must try! The sauces for the Chicken Satay are incredible.

I love Thai food, have eaten it all over the world including Thailand, and the food at Thai Thai is the best Thai I've had. Their Pad Thai is my favorite. Also great service.

Terrific! I travel for business, and it can be difficult to fund good Thai food. This place accommodates gluten free GF dietary requirements. The food was delicious. I ordered chicken satay, chicken and tofu red curry, coconut rice, and coconut soup. All delicious.

  • Christopher C.

I'm so glad this thai place is so good because it's the only one around this area that I know of. The lunch specials are always fantastic to bring back to the office and they're always hot and delicious. I haven't sat ant ate in the restaurant yet, but ordering their take out is always a special treat and no matter who gives me my food they are always nice and personable.

One word - Wow! Excellent Dinner. One of the best Green Curry Dishes I have eaten. Smooth curry, great spice, fresh veggies...great all around. This was my first time here. Hopefully I can return soon.

I have eaten Thai in PA, FL, CA, MD and everywhere in between and Thai Thai is some of the most authentic that I have ever had. The restaurant is located in the center of the nightlife district of Wilkes Barre. It is a great place to start the night either with a group of friends or on a romantic date. The seating is limited, so reservations help on weekends or when with a group larger than four. It is very clean inside with white linen tablecloths and perfectly folded napkins. It is BYOB and the waitstaff is very accommodating with table-side ice buckets for your beverage. The food is exceptional. I always start with the Thai dumplings that come with a perfectly seasoned soy sauce. Always fresh made with thin dough that lets the flavors of the shrimp and pork shine through. I have had several items from the menu including Pad Thai and curry chicken, but my favorite is the crispy duck in red curry. The chef always trims the duck well to eliminate the typical fat layer encountered with duck and it is always crispy and moist. The rice is perfectly cooked, neither dry nor moist and flavorful. If you like heat, order it Thai Hot (5 on their scale of 1-5). I usually order a 4 as the 5 makes my eyes tear. They do not mess around with the spice like other places that tone it down as "Americans" supposedly can't take the Thai heat. For dessert I recommend the mango with sticky rice. Cool chilled mango thinly sliced with sweetened hot sticky rice. The cool mango with the hot rice makes for a great treat that is sweet yet slightly tangy. It is filling even though the portion is small, so one is usually plenty for two people. If its your birthday they have a disco ball in the ceiling that they turn on and start singing to you. Its goofy and not for those who are shy, but if you like being the center of attention, it is certainly fun and adds a charm to the upscale restaurant. Price is typical for Thai, with dishes ranging from $10 to $25 with $8 appetizers. If you're looking for authentic Thai in a clean and friendly environment, Thai Thai is the place for you.

We were looking for a vietnamese restaraunt, but had to settle for this. My wife got Pad Thai and loved it. I got panang curry. It was very good, but (the taste was very similar to the familiar indian dish: chicken tikka masala). Waiter didn't specify numeric spice level. I chose medium spicy. It was hot enough to be good, but didn't make me sweat. Our waiter waited a few minutes to get to us (we chose everything we wanted, then had to wait maybe 2 or 3 minutes for him to see us. I prefer to order an appetizer right off the bat, rather than the entire order at once). However, after ordering, the food came out relatively quickly. Atmosphere was very nice. Next time I will remember that they no longer have a license to serve alcohol (the menu has black tape over the phrase "& Bar"), but they they do encourage you to BYOB!

  • John H.

I love Thai Thai. They have a huge dinner menu and a very affordable lunch menu. Chicken dishes cost about $7 and come with a (tiny) salad. The best $7 lunch in Wilkes-Barre. I am glad to see a classier, different, ethnic restaurant in downtown. The problem is the Drunken Noodle is so good, that I never try anything else!

    (4)
  • T D.

This place is average at best. Not much to write about. I've had a lot of Thai cuisine around the world so you can bank on my review. Had the yellow curry and shrimp fried rice. Like my curry spicy and wasn't prepared to my liking. Rice was not that great either.

  • Lisa S.

Fantastic - authentic delicious....I ate pad thai, the best I've eaten since I've been to Bali....I tasted two other dishes, one was a jasmine rice with pineapple - divine and the other was the drunken noodles - medium on the hottness.....medium was almost too hot for me and I LOVE spicy. The apps we had were the spring rolls and the skewers of shrimp, sooo good. You must ask them for the condiments so they bring them to your table, watch out! the one that looks the mildest is actually the hottest one. You must try this place if visiting the W-B area, you will enjoy it - make a reservation, we almost didn't get a seat.

Awesome Pad Thai. Really Awesome. Couldn't ask for better. Bad crab rolls. 1st order was cold. 2nd order was hot but you could taste the oil/grease.

Growing up in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania was a bit limiting. There weren't many ethnic restaurants. Come to think of it, there weren't many places that weren't huge chains. I don't think I even tried Thai food or Indian food until I went to college. Now that Wilkes-Barre is in the fifth year of their downtown revitalization project, things have progressed immensely. It's nice to come home for the holidays and find an enormous Thai restaurant in the center city, not to mention other authentic and independent restaurants and shops popping up. Maybe this place has a future after all! Anyway, Thai Thai is fantastic. The menu is huge - curries, pad thai, chicken, seafood, vegetarian. They will spice it on a scale of 1-5. I got a 4 on my green curry, and it was quite delicious, despite my watering eyes. Also I agree with everyone else that has reviewed this place - go for your birthday. You won't be disappointed.

  • Shelley P.

I have to say that Thai Thai is my favorite "American Thai" restaurant. To start, you're served a small salad with peanut dressing. Amazing. For those of you who like spicy food, rate how spicy b/w 1 and 5 stars to your server. If not, only pick entrees that do not have a chili pepper next to it. If its a friends birthday, make sure to speak up to your server. You'll get a kick out of it. Just wait! The only downfall is that they do not serve alcohol, but it is byob! If you like this restaurant, try Thai Thai in bethlehem! :)

  • Ricky C.

This is by far the best Thai food I've ever had. I've been to multiple thai restaurants with my fiancé, she loves pad Thai. I got the number 43, which was a spicy dish with cashews, red bell peppers, green onions, white onions, and your choice of meat. It was absolutely phenomenal. I've now had this twice with pork and beef at this restaurant is without a doubt one of the best. The meat just melts in your mouth. I've had their soups, and all of their appetizers they are all outstanding. The service is great. It takes literally five minutes to get your food after you order it. I would recommend this place highly. If this place had Thai beers they would get five stars.

Whenever a friend or family member has a birthday, we unquestionably go to Thai Thai. Always a fun time, especially if someone has never been. What a surprise! My trips here aren't limited to birthdays, of course. I love to suggest Thai Thai every time someone is looking for a lunch or dinner spot. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. I'm a vegetarian, and there are plenty of options for me. Almost all meat dishes can be made with tofu instead. Wait staff is very friendly and they recognize me and greet me when I go in. The portions are huge and I can rarely finish a whole dish (makes great leftovers!). As others have mentioned, take note that it is BYOB! If you're interested in a great ethnic spot in Wilkes-Barre, look no further.

Cute Restaurant & Excellent Service, Food, and Price. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitly return to this restaurant. Suggestion: Even though a reservation is not necessary, I would recommend that you call before hand to make reservations.

BYOB, great food, nice atmosphere. I love this place and eat here at least twice a month. If it's a Saturday night, it's best to make reservations because they get pretty crowded. But the food never takes long to come out and I always have a great time here. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is that the spice scale (1-5) isn't always consistent. I used to always get a 3, but last time I did, I thought I was going to die. I usually stick to a 2 anymore, but even then it still might be a little bit spicy. My favorite appetizers are the Thai Spring Rolls, and Tom Yum soup. For dinner I usually get drunken noodles, #47 (no idea what is actually called), Red Curry, or Lad Nar Noodles. I also once got a vegetarian dish (#100 i think) and that was really good as well. I have never been disappointed with my food except when it gets too spicy. But if you never were here, you should definitely go.

I have no qualms about the cuisine or service at Thai Thai. The offerings are varied and tasty. However, it gets two stars from me for charging an automatic 18% gratuity after 3pm no matter the size of your dining party. The automatic gratuity is on top of their prices, which are slightly inflated compared to other similiar Thai restaurants that I have dined.

Did not care for this at all! Our food came out so quickly it was obvious it was not fresh cooked. I ordered the drunken noodles and they were so mushy, the vegetables overcooked.

The drunken noodles were the real deal! So many times places say they use wide noodles, but this place really delivers. Great food!

We were visiting Wilkes-Barre for a concert and we were hungry after so we walked around looking for a place to eat. We decided to check out Thai Thai. It was my first time trying Thai food and I was extremely pleased!! I am hooked now lol! I had the Pad Thai with chicken, YUM! Our children split the chicken fried rice which was also very delicious and my husband had the pork fried rice with a steak and basil sauce. It was amazing! Since we live in Easton, we will be trying the Thai Thai II in Bethlehem

One Liner: Very good thai food Food: (scale of 0-4) 2.5 The food was surprisingly good for the area. If you need a fix for some exotic flavors, you won't be disappointed. The food is more american than Thai, but I wouldn't discount that unless you are looking for an authentic thai place. It's definitely worth a try. Extras: (Scale of 0-1) 0.9 Service 0.2: Decor 0.2: Speed 0.2: Dessert 0.1: Prices 0.2: My score for this experience is 3.4 stars. For offering nice exotic flavors in the middle of almost nowhere, I'm going to give it a big bump up to 4 stars. Seriously, there aren't really other choices.

Went on a Saturday night with no reservations and the place was hopping! We enjoyed our food here. Tofu Pad Thai was tasty as was my friend's dish [can't recall what it was]. Nice to find a good place in Wilkes Barre after a strenuous hike at Ricketts Glen.

I stopped here with the boy to grab some noms while passing through town, after reading pleasant reviews from fellow Yelpers. I was immediately impressed with the charming ambiance and efficient seating. Service was just as efficient, which was a joy since we were exhausted and desperate to get back on the road. The pad Thai was decent, but the curry my boyfriend ordered was delightful, with the perfect balance of spice (I forget what the dish is called but it involve pineapple goodness). Definitely not the best Thai food I've had, but certainly not a disappointment in a place like Wilkes-Barre.

Tried the green curry. It was hot, in all respects. Very nice place, nice decor, nice staff, good food. Highly recommend it.

I've had better thai food, but not in this area. I always get pad thai super spicy. It's sooooooooo good. The staff is super friendly. I went there three times last week and by the third time they knew my order. The crab fried rice is also really good. If you're in the mood for thai this is definitely the best place to go around here.

This place makes quality pad thai which is hard to find. My only complaint is that the chicken was a little dry. The portions are huge making it worth paying $11.95 for a lunch portion. You can easily get a few meals out of it with leftovers. The drunken nooddles were a hit at the table too. I would definitely return here for good quality Thai food.

Consistently delicious thai food served quickly. The drunken noodles, vegetarian spring rolls, and pad see ew are always delicious. Portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable, especially when considering the quality and quantity of food provided.

As an admittedly non-adventurous food eater, I have to say that Thai Thai is excellent. I have never ventured far from the norm when ordering, but have visited with several others who have tried many different offerings and were all pleased each time. The service is excellent, and the lunch prices are great. We have only gone one time for dinner, and it was completely packed. Also, they have a pretty hilarious "happy birthday" routine - we witnessed it about 5 times during dinner rush on a Friday night.

We were visiting Wilkes Barre for the first time and stumbled into Thai Thai. We've eaten Thai food all over the world, and this ranks right up there with the best. What a pleasant surprise! The restaurant was very stylish and the staff was wonderful.

It's such a nice change to have an non-Italian/Chinese restaurant in W-B. I've been here several times and always have the same awesome service. I'm a sucker for great service and Thai Thai delivers (One time it was a cold, rainy day and they opened early for us when they saw us waiting and then turned the heat up b/c we were cold). The food is great and the lunch special is one of the best in town. I normally get the spring rolls and Macaroni Kee Mao, but everything I've had is very good. (They will adjust the level of spice to suit your tolerance.)

I like this place, elegant and friendly staff. I had seainlove it was delicious. The asian chesse cake was OK. I am not a big fan of cheese I have to admit. A kid is having her birthday party there, and the staff came out and dance with/for her, i never saw that in any other restraurants.

I hate to give out one of the only bad reviews but, i was completely underwhelmed by thai thai. My boyfriend and I both ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp for lunch one day. He ordered his more spicy than I did, but they tasted exactly the same which makes me think they did not even cook them individually. The shrimp was extremely rubbery, overcooked, and not fresh what so ever. However, I did like the salad and the noodles were very tasty, so perhaps I'll try it again someday.

Great Thai food compared to it's NYC competitors---Even though they have city prices.

OMGeeeee..... This place is so good. It's one of the most authentic Thai restaurants I've been to in a long time. The food is excellent, even better the people are great there. My glass was NEVER empty! Highly would recommend this place. Oh yeah... Gotta good laugh off the birthday song

Coming from school in Boston where I have Brown Sugar right down the street, Thai Thai ranks right up there. It's unique to the area. The food and service are great. There was only one occasion where I had to wait for a bit longer than I would have liked, but the food made it worth it.

Thai Thai is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is spectacular and reasonably priced. It's a great place to go for a night out with a group. They are a BYO, so a bunch of friends and a few bottles of wine make Thai Thai a great time.

I mean I never thought I'd have Thai food in Wilkes-Barre PA. Visiting my girlfriend's family we wanted to have something different for dinner. Someone recommended this spot for Thai. Living in NYC for a while I tried my best not to be overly critical of the food. Appetizers were beef satay and Thai spring rolls. I had the red curry with chicken, my gf the green curry with beef. I enjoyed that you could order in all different ranges of spice (If you choose 'hot' you get to choose 1-5). I went with a 3 and it was perfect for me... watery eyes and runny nose, but I love the heat. It seemed to me though that most of the heat was simply added from spice and not so much sauce or peppers which left that seasoning taste on my tongue. The beef satay was nice with their peanut sauce. I enjoy my satay texture to be a little chewier but I think the tender offering they have is very palatable for being the only Thai place in the area. All in all I enjoyed my meal. I hope you get to see a birthday there - it's ridiculous. Also it's BYOB. Don't dare show up there with any less than 2 bottles of wine of whatever your adult beverage of choice.

Been here many times. Consistent quality. Good food. Proper Thai food and I was surprised to find it in Wilkes-Barre. Prices are reasonable. Good service. Nice people. The only bad thing I can say is that the ladies who man the cash register tend to have an attitude. All of them. Waiters are sweet and helpful.

My husband stated that their Red Curry dish was the best he's ever had. The restaurant as a whole is one of the best Thai restuarants I've been to.

my partner and i ordered soups from here when we were sick- and it did just the trick- amazing soups. he ad drunken noodles which he loved, i had tofu pad thai which wasn't very authentic for some reason- thick pb sauce- no thai basil, no sprouts, no actually peanuts. but the coconut soup more than made up

Attentive service, clean and tastefully decorated restaurant, convenient location. Food was fresh, well-prepared without too much spice or sauce. Great all around.
