I love this place!!!!! My first time ever eating at a Olive Garden and I was so surprised how low prices were and the big portions me and my family received. The food was amazing and just want I needed after a long day from work. My server was great and I will definitely be returning for more.

I would never choose to go to Olive Garden, not a dig just a fact. A friend and I needed somewhere to eat that was inexpensive and kid friendly so we came to this location. Our server was good and attentive but the whole experience was pretty terrible. The whole point of going to Olive Garden is because you want Italian-American-esque food that tastes good, not great, and is filling for reasonable prices. I ordered an entree for 12.79, Lasagna Primavera with Chicken Breast that was quite literally all of 5 bites. That would be fine if it was an appetizer as opposed to an entrée or if it came with some sides. But no 12.79 for lasagna the portion size of something you'd get at an upscale restaurant - without the deliciousness, ambiance, or service of an upscale restaurant. I ate it. I was hungry. It was utterly forgettable. So was everything else I ate. Fried asparagus - I didn't know it was possible to screw up fried vegetables, but hey they managed to do even that. Bland and tasteless. We had to remind the server that we needed breadsticks. Come on! It's what you're known for; "unlimited salad and breadsticks." The only decent part of the meal was the Moscato Berry Citrus Cocktail and it's not like you can fuck up a wine cocktail. I spoke with management because I think you should give every business the benefit of the doubt before resorting to internet reviews. All he had to say was that that was the portion size. No sorry. No attempt to rectify the situation. Maybe if I had been dressed in business casual attire to go to Olive Garden on a Saturday night I would have been treated like an actual paying customer and not a nuisance. Probably definitely, if I had made a real fuss instead of politely speaking with a manager in private I would have received actual customer service instead of a head nod and an 'oh well.' In all honesty, even if this meal had been amazing , I probably would not have ever stepped foot in here again after tonight. Knowing that in addition to being some sorry bastardization of real Italian-American cuisine this place can't even provide full sized filling portions at decent prices and that customer service here is pretty much non-existent I definitely won't ever be back. If you like Italian-American food you can do better than this. Way better. Even in the Lehigh Valley. Utterly tragic experience. Pictures of the entrée in question below.

Brought my parents here for their anniversary because they love this place :) The chicken and gnocchi soup is really tasty! So is the caramel hazelnut macchiato! Service was great too :) I had a little celebration cake brought out as a surprise for my parents. They loved it :) All in all, great experience :)

Olive garden is Meh. Not great. Not bad. However, THE PRICES HAVE SKYROCKETED and the portions have shrunk ---- HONEY I SHRUNK THE PORTIONS, anyone? Wow -- since when is OG a 75 dollar dinner for 2? What a nightmare! We will think twice about going back ! and the breadsticks aren't that good! I swear American has it all wrong ---we think the breadsticks are good --- we get excited, we go to OG and we are less than pleased. How come we never remember that the breadsticks ARENT REALLY THAT GOOD?!!! Service was slow, however, waitress was working hard. Lots of screaming childing on Friday night! I worked a long work week -- want to relax and eat some good eats -- and the last thing I want is to look at ugly, unkempt children running and screaming at a local OG!! Nightmare! Nightmare! Leave yours kids at home if the cannot behave!!

I enjoyed been over there hanging out with friends. Although the food and the wine was great, the waitress that was in charge of my table was in such a hurry that I felt like she wanted us to go just before we start ordering. I understand it was a little bit late but we were eating. In general it was great and I highly recommend it and I am also up to go again.

Olive Garden. OK. Not the greatest pasta dishes but they are pretty darned good. The traditional salad and bread sticks are still, inarguably perfect. How'd they get that so right, so long ago? Soup and Salad is always welcome. But when the unlimited pasta episode in running, its really hard to be critical. Try the various permutations of noodle shapes and 4 different sauces. The waitress today paid attention to where I was on a bowl then asked about refills so that there'd be little waiting. Everything really was fine.

Olive Garden is divine! Say what you will about Bucca or Carrabas but I am a VEGETARIAN. There is no other Italian Restaurant around that has delicious Vegetarian Soup. The minestrone is ridiculously good. The Alfredo kicks ass over Carrabas OR Buccas OR Bravo ANY day! AND the Alfredo goes great with the fresh baked breadsticks! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!

Very slow service. Got salad before drinks. Kid sized portions. Still trying to figure out where the meat was in the meat sauce. Oh yeah, the waitress coughed in my salad. The mint that came with our check was tasty. Next time heading across the street to Buca's. Pay a little more but easily twice as much food!

Olive Garden is a very popular moderately priced italian chain. I have never had a bad meal there, but I don't think the food is anything to write home about. Good, but not great.

I seriously have a reserved place in my heart for the Olive Garden, however, my most recent experience was less magical than I remember. To start, the salad was lackluster and needed more flavor and less oil. Maybe they switched dressings? My fruity non-alcoholic drink came out with a moldy strawberry on it. The delicious breadsticks were stale and cool. I ordered the portobello mushroom ravioli and that was decent for a pre-made pasta dish. The Andes after dinner candies remained my favorite part of the meal. Our server was nice but kept her take out boxes on the wall, in the dining area, underneath a piece of art. We pointed out to her that someone had left their leftovers behind when she quickly took the box off of the wall and placed it on the table to package our uneaten food.

Food was ok, I made sure to ask for a dinner portion. However, I ordered my food to go and didn't receive any forks/knives, napkins, or chocolate :-(

The salad is amazingly good. The stuffed mushrooms weren't anything to write home about. The shrimp and chicken meal was very tasty. It had a bit too much olive oil though. The tables seemed a bit sticky and the decor was really cheesy. I would go back again, but just for the soup and salad and spaghetti, just to keep it simple.

Stopped in with a friend for unlimited soup, salad, bread sticks. Restaurant was clean and service was good. The server checked in frequently to see if we wanted any refills which was great.

Every single time I come here I receive the best services no matter whom it is that is serving me, my family, or friends. I came here for two of my birthday dinners (a few years apart) and many times in all these years. People are absolutely friendly and they love to leave little notes on the receipts. I love the food and the variety of options offered on the menu. Recently they have even put on the menus the perfect wines that pair with each meal, which is great because it is very educational to know our wines. I have my favorites soups and entrees, but anytime I ask for a recommendation the servers don't let me down and have great tats as well :) This is the closest location to my home, but I love the service in other locations as well. If you do decide to pick and Italian restaurant, whether it is slightly Americanized ;) this is a great place to choose for great food, service, and prices. I hope you enjoy!

Like the other's have said... It's Olive Garden... what more can i say. The last time we went the waitress gave me like ten minutes. I think she liked me. lol. But yeah i've had a handful of times where they weren't consistent w/ the portion and I confronted the waitress about it once and she even told me they were cutting back! Whoa then why am I paying the same amount! Well lately I've just been getting the Chicken Gnocci and breadstick. I somehow think eating 2 bowls of soup and ten breadsticks is healthier than eating all that pasta. Let me be! But yeah,no complains even about this location on busy Grape street. I can't complain too much about a long wait... I can't expect much if i go after 5 on the weekend.

Honestly I used to think Olive Garden was really good. Now that I'm older I don't think so anymore. There food is really mediocre and there service isn't that great. I ordered a simple dish of the stuffed chicken Marsala. It was cooked fine and all except it was salty, and the flavors weren't great. The chicken just taste good and I love chicken. I also tried some of my sisters steak and it wasn't tasty at all. I feel that Olive garden comes out with these new dishes but are basic and unappealing. I guess I've just grown up from mediocre tastes. Ps. Carrabba's Italian Grill is a lot better food and service wise.

I don't care what anyone else says... Olive Garden is my favorite Italian restaurant. I always end up leaving super full and with enough food left over for another meal thanks to their endless soup. Everything I've had here is delicious so just take your pick.

Had a great time BOTH times I went. Great servers! One that stood out to me was a young girl named Tori, she was really good.

Yes, I know it's Olive Garden but this one has to be the worst one around. It didn't use to be this bad but it has gone down hill in recent years. The food is really bad, I mean worse then it ever was. I won't go here anymore, I'd much rather go across the street to Buca or over to Airport Rd and eat at Roma.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
