I went here for respite after a long morning shopping with my mom. We picked it for the large outdoor eating area. This is more on the traditional Italian side than the American Italian side which I found refreshing for a chain restaurant. Food was really decent. My mothers sandwich was HUGE and my goat cheese and asparagus frattata was delicious. Our server really lacked any finesse though, nearly whacking us every time she took plates away. Forgot our order (she admitted she threw it away) and complained that her other table was inside clear across the restaurant (not our fault). Overall our experience was a positive one though, and I would definitely go again when shopping, but probably wouldn't drive across town for it.

Hubs and I have eaten here three or four times now. We always get the bruschetta and share it as an appetizer--it's scrumptious! I usually get the Pasta Woozie and my husband gets the salmon. The wait staff is always friendy and efficient. Decor is pretty cool. Surprisingly whenever we go it's never very crowded, which is a plus for me.

Service and food is always great. Prices are reasonable. What more can you ask for? Try the fra diavolo or chicken parm, its amazing! Desserts aren't bad either. Waitresses are always quick, I swear my entrees arrive in 5 minutes.

I've been here twice while visiting family and find this restaurant to be very pleasant. It is located in a newer open air mall of upscale stores. Parking is plentiful, but you have to hunt for a spot. The Food: Excellent quality and nice selection of pastas, fish, fowl, and meat. I have found the service to be prompt and attentive. I recommend the Mama's Lasagna Bolognese, it is large enough for two and very tasty. My inlaws love the salmon salad, and my daughter says the crabcakes are the best, although two for $20 is a little steep.

The girls and I have visited Bravo several times for lunch while shopping at the LV Mall. I wouldn't go there for a date with just the wife, but if I'm already at the mall and looking for a nice lunch or early dinner with the family, its great. The food is average for restaurant chains (with Applebees being the complete bottom, Outback being the median, and higher end chains like Bonefish, PF Changs, and Cheesecake Factory at the top). The service has been great...the bread and dipping oil come quick and milk refills for the kids are right on time. If you're in the neighborhood and want a safe, clean, pleasant meal with family or a group of friends, its worth a visit.

This was my first time going to Bravo and was really impressed with the experience. I was here for a business meeting and it was perfect, but plenty of families were dining at the same time so you can't go wrong whatever the occasion. The service was excellent, very attentive but not obtrusive. Portions are very generous, enough for left overs. Average dinner is between $15-20 plus whatever else you might enjoy. Reservations are not required but doesn't hurt to make one, just to be on the safe side.

This restaurant is a nice place to have lunch after shopping the beautiful mall. I just love this mall because it's clean and cheerful with the merry go round horses decorating the mall. i have eaten lunch here before and enjoyed the service and meal but I want to tell you about a baby shower held at Bravo. The salads were served family style. Then they served a hot buffet with salmon, two pasta dishes. We had sangria. So as a gluten free person I usually miss out but at Bravo they also serve gluten free pasta!! Cooked perfectly. The servers were helpful and served the cake.

So after a long time my family and I decided to go back to Bravo, I guess because we forgot how bad it was. The service was horrible, waited looked like she was angry, couldn't find her to ask for refills and bread. After we got our meal, the period where so small we where still hungry. And did I mention you Jane to pay an extra 4$ for a stupid salad. Who doesn't give you a salad with dinner anymore? No one, cause every fan Restaurant serves you salad with dinner. The food quality was ok....I expected better for the price. Needless to say I will never go back again cause now I will never forget how naff everytHing was.

Came in 4 brunch on a beautiful Saturday. The menu was a lil different from the last time i was here. I Asked them to make the crab Cake Benedict which was no longer on the menu. they did it and it was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our meal and will be back

My boyfriend's parents took me here because our reservations at another nearby restaurant didn't pan out. The waitstaff was rude from the very start. I noticed them pointing at customers--super unprofessional. Throughout the night, our waitress continually gave the impression that she was miserable. She frowned quite visibly whenever we asked for water or bread refills. Even the drinks were bad. My boyfriend's parents both ordered Mojitos and gave them to us to finish because of how sickeningly sweet they were. How do you mess up a basic mixed drink? As for the food, well, it's the only thing saving this place from a one-star review. I ordered the BRAVO! Pasta, their house special. It's truly mouth-watering. My boyfriend took one bite and immediately regretted his Sicilian Pizza decision. That said, this place is terrible. Seriously, don't go here.

What is more irritating than the dirty dishes and undercooked steak, is the fact I HAVE to leave one star for this place. It started bad and only got worse. When u pull up here, don't go in, walk across the parking lot and go to Bonefish for a great meal. Update...... Yup, still sucks....

Unfortunately did not check Yelp reviews before we went...not many respectable options in that area so figured higher end chain would be a safe bet...mistake. Dirty napkin, dirty silverware, dirty water glass, dirty coffee cup...not even joking. Food was ok, its a chain..., but expected more. Service was fine. Not the first review about the dirty dishes...

This place is great for a good Italian weeknight dinner. The bread & sun dried tomato dipping oil is delicious, but sometimes you have to prompt staff for it. Service is good, prices aren't too high. Love the open spacious dining room.

One of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a long time. I wasn't able to arrive until very close to closing but the Bravo staff was extremely nice and helpful. Not only did they accommodate the lateness, the food was amazing for all 20 people in our group and it came out extremely fast. Not one member of the staff was unpleasant even though we didnt leave until an hour and a half after closing. Amazing service, amazing staff. I will be returning to Bravo very soon in the future.

Food not worth the wait!!! We usually come here on Saturday/Sunday around lunch time with no problems with the food or service. We are usually seated right away. Tonight we planned to come in for dinner and made reservations for 7:15 pm. Looked like the overbooked the restaurant and the crowd was pushed all the way outside the doors. The hostesses were very short and not helpful at all despite the fact that we did have reservations. It took us about 40 minutes to get seated. The hostess gave us bread and water. No servers came to our table. 15-20 minutes later we had called the managers attention who then proceeded to get out orders and drinks. Still no sign of our server. 20 minutes later our appetizers came. Another half hour later our entrees came. Food was mediocre. Definitely not worthy wait. Finally our "server came to check if we needed anything. Just our check please. I wanted to write a note on the table. "NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN"

If you are a steak lover this is your place ! i would easily compare the steak Quality to corked or Emerils but much less priced .I honestly wish they would incorporate the word "steak" in the name because the steak is beyond awesome . You don't normally see that with italian because their speciality is pasta .I also recommend the calamari appetizer as well as the Mediterranean vegetable salad . I will admit that I have yet to try the pasta lol . I would have given this place 5 stars but there was one time I ordered the crab cakes and it was close to the kind you get at a diner . My only complaint out of 20x eating here . The service is excellent and all the ladies are soooo sweet especially the manager xo

First experience at Bravo was not impressive. The restaurant is nice and in a nice location. The service we experienced was below average. Very slow... and not really accomodating. One of my friends thought she hadn't gotten enough soup in her order. She asked about it and the waitress insisted that was the proper amount of soup. I think the waitress should've just given her another bit of soup... I don't know, like I said we ended up being there for 2.5 hours even though it wasn't a busy place, just because the service was SO slow... Food-wise, I got the signature Bravo pasta and I wasn't all that impressed. The sauce was relatively flavorless. It was really nice that they had an option for multi-grain pasta, because that's the only kind I can have. However, it was really tough. I realize that it tends not to be as spongy as regular pasta, but I've definitely had better whole grain pasta than this. I also tried a slice of a friend's Margherita pizza. Didn't like that at all. It was completely soggy and the sauce and all were again somewhat flavorless. The surprising thing is, someone told me this is part of the same chain of restaurants as Brio. That's surprising, because I've been to Brio in the Chicago area a couple of time and I really liked their food. I don't know... maybe the menu is different or maybe quality of food is different. Not sure how to explain that one.

My mother planned a small get together for my brother's wedding (about 15 of us) and I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the service we received during our time. We reserved the back room used larger parties, and in the past have seen this staffed with a large group of servers carefully attending to larger parties. We had one server, who had essentially zero skill in customer service. There was little detail to make sure we had our drinks filled( I had to ask four times for coffee before someone brought it), and our server left us with dirty plates while bringing us our dessert! I had to bring it to the attention of the manager (who appeared to care less about our problem) before the plates were taken away. From start to finish, this took three hours. Now I'm sure you could be thinking "oh well maybe the restaurant was very busy. This was in the afternoon on a Friday, and Bravo was essentially empty with exception of a few couples eating lunch. Our server took the time to make sure she got her 20% for a large party. But why not make sure we were satisfied? Why not do the best job while the restaurant isn't busy? This was a special occasion and Bravo did nothing short of fail at their job. The Manager Rebecca gave my mother a fluff of an apology, and made her feel as if she wasn't important. If I could give fewer stars I would.

Ok and acceptable Italian restaurant for a mall. Too much dressing on my salad and it was super cold from being chilled for who knows for how long!. My grilled salmon was swimming in pesto and balsamic drizzle that it was overpowered by the small portion of fish. I skipped desert. But what the heck, I'm at a mall. Thought about giving it 3 stars but wait 2 is more fitting.

I use to dine at this chain eatery a lot. Then I saw a fair amount of turnover including one particular server (Angel B.) who always made the experience a good one. I stopped going as I saw food quality and service decline. Prior to today I last dined there about 6 months ago and I thought that I would give it a try. This was a mistake! If the hostess smiled I think that it might have hurt her. On the plus side, our server was actually good. I was disappointed that the root beer was not working and that the ginger ale was watery, but life goes on. When they cleared my table and accidentally spilled Pepsi all over my shoes and pants, I didn't yell or display any anger. I figured accidents happen, life goes on. What did turn me off though was NO offer to have my stained clothes or shoes cleaned or any other type of compensation. The waitress did offer to get her manager, but why did she offer versus just running to get him? On the way out a different female bot at the hostess stand said goodbye, but neither she or anyone else in this establishment asked me how my experience was. Suffice to say, ruined, and I will not be back.

My husband and I really used to love this place. We would go almost every time we were at the mall for lunch or dinner. I have also been to a private party event here (which actually was really good ... the family style portions that were served were really good, there just wasn't enough food for the table). The last time we went there we just were not impressed. The restaurant was empty which is unusual any other time we went it was extremely busy. The food was not good and the waitresses were kind of all just standing around hanging out.

Management is terrible. Manager Christina is rude and disrespectful. consistently ignoring calls. i even had a time where i called and i heard her ask who it is and hang up the phone in order to not talk. Just consistent disrespect and rudeness.

Bravo is a chain Italian restaurant that offers excellent food and great dining experience. Their main entrees (steak, chicken and pork) are all very tasty. The pasta dishes offer a nice variety of noodle types and sauces. Their salads are large in portion size and serve as great side dishes or alternative lunch/dinner choices. The main reason for not getting a 5-star rating is its prices - they are slightly on the high end.

Wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. The hostess greeted us very quickly and wedged us between two families with children. I don't mind kids, we have two boys of our own under 5. But tonight we wanted to at least sit in a booth, apparently that couldn't be done because it would "mess up the rotation". Our server Matt or John? I couldn't remember. He wasn't that great, brought us our waters and drinks from the bar in a timely manner. Our apps and the bread came out at the same time. If you go on bravos email club you can show them an email for a free app. He got the calamari and loved it, I got the bruschetta with mushrooms and onions. I've gotten this dish before and it was wonderful, this time it was very salty, I drank 3 glasses of water before our pizza showed up. I even drank my cocktail before the pizza touched the table. For dinner we ordered the Sicilian pizza, first bite tasted great. Second... My mouth was on fire. It was very spicy and for me to say that is something because I put Siracha on a lot of my food. When the waiter finally noticed we were done, he didn't even bring us the dessert tray... Which I could see. But didn't get to see up close. We gave him the coupon for the free app, and he brought us both checks. The one with the discount and with out the discount. We paid with a gift card, and let him the remainder on the card. Which was 15%. I wouldn't be back ... I just wasn't that impressed.

This is a chain restaurant. Support your local community and go to Meza Luna, Mama Nina's, or Dimaios. I ordered my pasta "al dente" and they asked me if it was a new soda.

I used to come here very often but the food quality has declined since its opening. The first time I came here, the bread they offered was fresh and was very soft. The waiter told me there was mashed potato in it and it was really good. In the past year or so, the portions have been gettinf smaller and the bread now tastes like frozen dough and is never warm and fresh. The pasta pomodoro with chicken offers a piece of chicken that is half the size of what it originally was. The sauce that accompanies it is bland and lacks flavor. The noodles need an upgrade. They taste stiff and not fresh.

  • Clint E.

I don't know why we don't come here more often because the place is really good. The staff are extremely friendly and aim to please. I had the sisillian pizza and the della casa salad. Both were great The salad was honestly delicious! I don't usually rave about a salad but this one was awesome! Basically a chopped salad with bacon and crisp pasta croutons but wow was it good. The pizza was top notch also. Perfect amount of topping. I would absolutely get it again. My wife got lobster bisque and lobster ravioli (do we see a theme here) both were very good. The new york cheesecake for dessert capped it off perfectly.

Ambience: Casual, not quiet. I probably wouldn't take a date here, but I would come with a group of friends or catch up with a friend 1:1 here. Service: Very nice! Our waiter was proactive in offering suggestions. Fresh bread is served with this awesome oil and spices on the side. Menu: Wide array of choices. I didn't feel like it was hardcore Italian with just pasta dishes. They had a really nice variety, including meats with vegetable. There were also many healthy options so you can still come to an Italian place and not leave feeling like you grew an extra chin. I had the salmon, which had a light pesto crust and the lobster bisque, which was phenomenal. I would definitely come back!

    (4)

Lobster Bisque best EVER - couldn't beat the taste even at a seafood restaurant or any shore point restaurant I've been to! Chopped salad is delicious too - professional wait staff!!

Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Hostess was nice and we were seated promptly. Service was very efficient, but not overly friendly. Salads were pretty good (Caesar and Rustica), but the pasta left something to be desired. I got the Bravo pasta, which was bland and my husband got the Sausage Tortellini- which he describes as kind of dry (needed more sauce) and the tortellinis were bland. Bread was slightly above average.

Ambiance: 4 stars Service: 3 stars Food: 3.5 stars I can't get myself to give this place 4 stars so had to stick with 3. If I could give it 3.5 I would. There's really not much out this way so for a nicer dining option I'm sure it's the place to go. If I could compare it to anything out in California I would say it's like a fancier Macaroni Grill. Service here is a bit off. After getting seated and ordering it took nearly 10 minutes to get bread and our olive oil. Following that no one ever bothered to ask if we wanted more as we waited over 20+ minutes for our food. I had a soup and salad. The soup came but no spoon. The salad came but I was never asked if I wanted fresh cracked pepper. The staff here can never expect a great tip if they don't resolve some of the service issues.

Bland tasteless old-people food. If your over the age of 55 you'll love it. I don't think they use salt on anything. The filet Mignon was ok, a little dry but it was ok. The potatoes and vegetables were very bland. The staff is very phony and somewhat rude. I walked in with my 70 year old grandmother for lunch one afternoon and the place was dead yet I had to wait 15 min for a table (there were 50 empty tables, not sure why they made us wait) then another set of 2 older women walked in and got sat before us. I asked the host why she sat them before us, and she just stared at me like I was an alien. Not sure what that was about. I then asked if we can please be seated now because I'm not sure why I'm standing here like an idiot when there's obviously an abundance amount of open tables. she rudely said "yep" and threw our menus on the table. Not sure what her problem was with me. But anyway it's a nice place/atmosphere to meet with friends and get a dessert and a coffee. Especially in the summertime outside seating. But I wouldn't order another meal. Too bland for me

  • Brian C.

The hostesses were very rude. One elderly fat hostess looked my scrubs-clad girlfriend up and down as if she was wearing a ghillie suit. A second blond airhead did not acknowledge us when she was supposed to take us to the table, and scolded us when we did not follow her. FYI, you work in a restaurant at a mall. It is not fine dining, and even the finest dining never excuses rudeness. It is a shame that the waiters are so polite and efficient, and yet the hostesses are so rude - they are costing the rest of the staff serious money in tips. All it takes is one rude hostess, and you're never getting above 15%. By the way, just because you use polite words doesn't mean that we cannot hear the lack of sincerity in your voice.

The bread is amazing. They serve it with a mix of olive oil, sundried tomatoes, basil, and a bunch of other spices. Its either foccacia or like it. Either ways its a great reason to keep going back. They serve brunch on the weekends. It was okay. I know I know... who gets breakfast at an italian restaurant well I did and it was just okay. I didn't clean my plate like I do at the local diner or denny's. I also tried the spinach artichoke dip which I thought could have been much better. I thought it was bland and could use a lil more something. The flat bread it was served with was not the best. It tasted almost like a stale tortilla chip. (I've never had a hard flatbread before. I went a few days before and I ordered the pesto chicken & pasta. Tasted good but it was my fault I expected it to be pesto ALFREDO! See what I get for not reading the menu. Well the waiter brought me out two small cups of alfredo to mix with my leftovers. I also wanted to mention that when I went there the waiter had recognized my friends who were there the week before. He even remembered their drink of choice! The service is excellent. Id definitely be going back. Maybe if I didn't eat so much of the bread I could enjoy the meal.

0 out of 2 stars for Food 0 out of 1 stars for Service 1 out of 1 stars for Cleanliness 0 out of 1 stars for Atmosphere Coming home from Musikfest in Bethlehem, we saw this restaurant from the highway and decided to stop. Oh, how I wish we'd kept driving. After one hostess completely ignored us to seat another couple who came in after us, I should have cut my losses and left, but no, clearly I'm a glutton for punishment. After bringing this to another hostess's attention, she sat us. The waiter was adequate, not exceptionally friendly. When bringing our appetizer, half of it slid off the plate and onto the floor. He mumbled "sorry about that, I'll ...." as he walked off. Soup came out shortly after, pretty good. Bread was very herby, we ate it and got a look of disgust when we asked for more when our meal arrived. The meal, horrible! My boyfriend ordered the sausage tortellini...very bland, little amount of sausage. I ordered the lasagna...must have been prepared in a nuclear reactor. My boyfriend was done with his by the time mine cooled enough to eat. When I said to the waiter they should nuke it for less time he told me it was made to order. Really?! What magic oven are they using that cooks lasagna in 10 minutes? When the check came, I had been charged for the appetizer! I asked that it be removed from the bill, this earned me more dirty looks from the waiter. Couldn't wait to leave!

I'm a self-proclaimed hater of chain restaurants, but on my recent trip to the Allentown area I couldn't find anything near my hotel that was non-chain unless it was a diner. And I'm not really about diners unless it's breakfast time or I'm trying to find John Quinones. I decided to give Bravo a chance because I've been seeing this chain more often while traveling and figured it might be ok. WRONG. It sucked. The service was ok, but nothing I'd tell my friends about. I was particularly annoyed that I had to listen to two servers talking about the low tip one had gotten at another table. Ummm...that's probably the fastest way to get a straight 15% from me when I normally leave a standard 20%. The food - bleh. I'd rather not. I had the chicken scallopini and it didn't even quite reach mediocre in my opinion. I'd honestly choose the Olive Garden over this place, and I'd never choose the Olive Garden.

I just looked and noticed that I wrote a review on this place back in January and gave it four stars. My how times have changed. On Sunday (4/21) I went to eat here and the service and food has fallen off drastically. The two bartenders were indifferent about the customers and rarely checked on us. The food was subpar. A friend had the glazed chicken and it was super dry and almost inedible. I had the Chicken fra Diavolo (one of their signature dishes). The pasta was mushy and the sauce was barely passible. I am very surprised with everything about this Sunday's situation, especially the bartenders. It was almost as if we were an inconvenience to them. this may be the end of coming to or recommending this place to anyone. There are plenty of great restaurants to choose form in the Lehigh Valley.

I must preface with this review by saying that I visited Bravo a few days after returning from Italy so naturally, I was much more critical than normal. However, if we can accept that this isn't really "italian" food, we can proceed to my actual review. Bravo is good. The ingredients are good, there are many options to choose from and the service is just fine. I have been to Bravo's sister restaurant "Brio", which is more Northern Italian while Bravo is more Southern. I prefer the menu at Brio. Anyways, the food is on the level of Bertuccis. I had the Mediterranean Pasta which is whole grain pasta tossed with spinach, sundried tomatoes, feta and meat of choice. While it was decent, I tried my boyfriend's Balsamic Chicken, which I would encourage everyone to try. I liked it much more than my own dish and was lucky enough to get a couple bites. I really have no complaints against Bravo. It's a decent American chain restaurant. I just happen to be extremely picky this month in regards to Italian cuisine. Sorry, Bravo.

Solid Sunday brunch yesterday for me and six friends. Drinks were a little weak, but otherwise good service and food. I tried the Crab Cake Benedict, excellent! The bar specials are a great deal, weekdays 5-7 and 9-close, 4$ apps and 5$ drinks.

let me start off by saying that we had one of the nicest waiters ever, although he did continually try to push people into ordering extras... if it was supposed to come with extra shrimp and chicken, then the chef, if you can call him or her that, would have prepared it that way. In spite of that, he was helpful , gracious, accommodating and everything that you could want.... Too bad that he can't cook! With no disrespect intended for other reviewers, you must be eating Chef Boyardee out of a can if you think this is good Italian food. They claim that everything is made to order, and they did honor all requests, but that may be too much for them. Please just get the basics correct. The bread that people raved about looked and tasted like Pillsbury pop-up dough rolls with some extra spices on top and the oil mix was low grade olive oil with some tasteless spices. Appetizers - fried calamari - limp and without many spices; flatbread rollups - go to 7-11 and get a taquito instead, so you can see where that stands! Entrees - lukewarm congealed pasta dishes with little flavor; eggplant parm that had no eggplant taste and had cheese only barely covering the top. Even the free soda refills had varying colors each time depending on how watered down they were. Best part of eating at Bravo - eating your next meal that you cook for yourself at home!

We went on Wednesday night, June 5th, around 8pm. Althought the food was good, the service was awful. It was clear that we were in the way of the server's sidework because he was trying to leave. He couldn't get my sister's drink or dinner order correct. He was short with us, and literally had to be flagged down to get anything from him, as he did not come back to check up on us. He never offered my mom another drink, had to be flagged down for more water, and presented our check without ever asking if we'd like desert. I was appalled. We will never go back.

I went here with two friends about two weeks ago for the Bar Bites after 9:00 pm and sat at the bar where the very friendly and fun Gabby tended to my drink requests. Excellent Martinis! The Bar Bites were delicious (the cheeseburgers/ shrimp) and the portions were reasonable for the price. I'll give Bravo 4 stars until I come back some day and order a real dinner.

It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside. Even though we arrived at noon, they did not seem prepared as the tables were not set up - even the waiter commented on this. I've been to Bravo several times and really liked their chopped salad for lunch with add on salmon. On this visit, I ordered the same way I always have, however the salad did not seem like a chopped salad - the pieces of lettuce were large - and a small amount of dressing was on the side. I asked the waiter if this was a chopped salad and he said yes. When I asked for more dressing, he stated that that's what happens when you order dressing on the side - it's never enough. One problem - I didn't order it that way. So OK, it wasn't the best visit, but then I got the check - $16.95 for this sub-par salad. Of note, a regular salad with salmon was $13.99. When I asked the waiter about the price, he said next time I should order a regular salad with salmon and substitute chopped salad. I expressed how unhappy I was, but he said there was nothing he could do - which everyone knows is just not true. He just didn't want to deal with it and rerun the check. I told him no worries - there won't be a next time!

I've been here three times and have never been disappointed. The bread is fantastic and both the dinner and brunch items are fantastic. Tonight I had the penne Mediterranean and italian wedding soup, and both were excellent. Everyone at our table - all 8 of us -cleaned our plates. My husband loves the Creme brûlée and the sangria rosa is one of my favorite cocktails. Service is good, but be prepared to wait to get seated if you don't have a reservation on weekends as it gets quite crowded.

I love Bravo! I have been to Bravo! several times, with several different groups of people and never once has there been a problem. Service is always on point. There is one server in particular that we've had several times who is just about the best waiter I've had in any restaurant, anywhere. However, any waiter/waitress we've had has been great. The atmosphere is fine. Sometimes it seems a bit crowded and it does get a bit loud though, during peak hours. Drinks are great. Wine selection is good, martinis are always delicious, mixed drinks are just as good. The food? I can't say enough about it. From bread to dessert, I've never had a complaint about anything I've ordered from there. Neither has anyone I've gone with. It's one of a few restaurants where I try not to order the same thing twice because all of the food is so good. And it's so reasonably priced! At first, the prices might seem a little high, but your portion sizes are absolutely incredible. i always end up bringing something home for the next day. Bravo! is definitely a go-to restaurant for my husband and I, as well as his in-laws when they visit, and my parents when they come to visit. It's one of my favorites, hands down.

I checked this place out recently because I used to frequent the mall. I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo of course and it was amazing. The sauce was creamy, just the way I like and flavor was beyond any comparison. Waitress was attentive and noticed we needed a second bottle of wine as we were finishing our last few sips. The wine list was relatively extensive as well. Great place to take a date and enjoy some Italian.

(Friday night of Labor Day weekend after a long day at Dorney Park) After waiting a half hour at bonefish grill and no signs of getting a table anytime soon, we decided to look up other restaurants in the area by using my YELP android app. We had our 5 year old with us who had fallen asleep. I didn't want her to go on without eating for too much longer so I had my husband walk over to see what the wait was for Bravo. We were surprised to find out that we could be seated right away. Our server, Peter, was very personable and we enjoyed talking with him. He was extremely informative of the restaurant and the menu. Whatever he didn't know, he did not hesitate to ask the chef for the answers. We skipped appetizers and went straight for entrees. We were given bread and flavored olive oil for the table. It was soft, warm and delicious! We asked for seconds ;) I ordered one of the specials of the day. It was a grilled codfish fillet on a bed of sauteed veggies (zucchini, onions, fresh corn). Then they pour room temp gazpacho over it which is also the sauce. And then, as if it can possibly get any better, they add on crabmeat salad over the fish! It was a perfect meal to end the summer. The fish was grilled perfectly (I despise overcooked fish) and the dish was so light and flavorful. My husband was very jealous. He ordered a dish from the menu. It was the scallops with gnocchi and it came with sauteed spinach and roasted sweet potatoes. His was the opposite of mine...very heavy and it was more of a beginning of fall dish. Although the dish was very tasty, there was too much gnocchi and potato. I ordered the spaghetti with marinara sauce andd a meatball for my daughter off of the children's menu. It was a generous portion (as were our adult entrees). She could not finish it even though she loved it. I gave it a taste and was so surprised at how delicious an entree from the children's menu was ($5.50). I would have been extremely happy ordering that for myself. I am not sure why other reviewers find this place to be pricey. My fish special was only $17!!! I could not believe it. My husbands dish was $20 and it had a decent amount of sea scallops (regular size, not jumbo, not bay scallops). Last but not least...dessert. All the desserts on the display platter looked delicious but our waiter pushed us to get the trio sampler which is 3 petite versions of their berry cake ala mode, tiramisu and chocolate molten cake ala mode. He said to trust him that we would not believe how affordable this trio is. I was shocked that these were "petite" sizes of their desserts because each piece looked like a regular size of dessert that other restaurants give. Well, when the bill came i was shocked that this trio (which would was more than enough for the 3 of us) was only $8.99. For me, all these prices are amazing along with the quantity and quality of food and service. For a chain, i find this restaurant to be very refreshing. THe food tastes very fresh. None of the italian chains even come close (macaroni grill, Olive Garden (awful!!!) or Carraba. I find this restaurant to be right up there with Cheesecake Factory (one of my favorites). In summary, we enjoyed this restaurant very much. The decor is also nice. I hope everyone who reads this will give it a try and enjoys it as much as we did.

Bravo for Bravo! (hey, someone had to say it...) I really like it. Excellent service, good wines, yummy food. Well, some of my friends and I use Bravo as a central meeting place for cocktails and "apps" - we favor the flatbread appetizers and dips. During warm weather we sit on the "patio" which, yes, looks out at the parking lot and route 22 but provides an enjoyable al fresco happy hour. Especially convenient to get liquored up here and then go shopping with the girlfriends. I have made many purchases after a few glasses of wine at Bravo.

Not your traditional Italian restaurant. Good menu selection, decent wait staff, with prices a little higher than average. Just wish it was located somewhere else, as it is no longer fun dealing with chaos at the Lehigh Valley Mall area in Whitehall.

I really wanted this place to rock my socks but the food is lack luster and one time I was there they ran out of bruschetta at 6pm. How does that happen in an Italian place? The interior is nice and the service is slow.

After reading all the bad reviews I had to add my two cents! Just ate here for the SECOND tiem and not only was the waiter above 5 stars (as was the waiter we had last time) but we actually tipped well over 20% which I NEVER do! We ordered the lobster bisque since it was so good the last time-still excellente! Our appetizer was unique and very, very good and the pasta was incredible! Its a shame some of the hostess staff can give a place such a bad name, but we lucked out-EVERY time!

I'm Italian, from Brooklyn. I've never been inside an Olive Garden, and I've forbidden my sons from entering one. When I decided to have dinner at Bravo, I didn't realize that it's a midwestern chain. So I guess I only have myself to blame. The food was OK, in the sense that it didn't taste bad. The service was fine. If you're in the mall and want to eat, I'm sure it's better than going into Red Loster. It would be a shame if someone confused this with Italian food. I guess a Mexican with strong feelings about Mexican cuisine might feel the same way about Chilli's. And, lest I be snobbish, I have to admit that real Italians (i.e. from Italy) tend to deny any connection with the style of cooking that I grew up eating.

It's a small step up from the Olive Garden.

This restaurant is really pretty and has a great ambiance. You may encounter a wait on a Friday or Saturday night. The bread they give you is so yummy. I could fill up on this and be perfectly happy. The Insalata Della Casa is great and very inexpensive - it's chopped greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, bacon, and crispy pasta. The margherita pizza is pretty good, but nothing too special. I'd return if I was in the area.

Been here about two times when I lived up in the area. Bravo has a comfy atmosphere with friendly service. The food was pretty good too. Definitely worth checking out before heading directly to Olive Garden or Buca di Beppo.

Nice ambiance and excellent food. I had the grilled salmon, which was terrific. The chicken marsala was nice too, and my son and I both loved the warm berry cake.

Good solid restaurant. Great steaks, pizzas and salads. Shoestring fries are pretty amazing too. Love the atmosphere and place is well designed so it's never too noisy to talk around a big table. Finding a close parking space can be tough.

As far as chain italian restaurants go this is probably as good as it gets. Its a nice improvement over Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill. The decor is really cool and different, I actually really like it. The food is priced about right, maybe slightly more than Olive Garden. the food is always good maybe even very good. The meatsauce is very good!! Service is average to above average, but nothing special. Its worth a try.

Have you been to the great upscale add-on to the Lehigh Valley Mall? At last, a Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, an Apple store, some really nice women's clothing shops and two new restaurants. On the advice of a friend, we had late lunch at one of the new restaurants on Sunday afternoon. The decor of Bravo Cucina Italiana is a little over-the-top for my taste, but that doesn't detract a bit from the tasty food and good prices. If you eat before 4pm, lunch prices are in effect, and I found them very reasonable. Haven't done dinner, so don't know about dinner prices. I ordered a 1/2 order of Mezza lasagna (saw a full order at a table nearby and decided a 1/2 order was enough for me) which came with an interesting, tasty salad. Often lasagna is heavy and too filling, but this was lighter than usual with a good sausage taste that I enjoyed. A good entree for $9.99. My friend had a whole grain penne with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach & feta cheese - very tasty - also $9.99. We shared a piece of cheesecake for dessert for $5.99 - being a connoisseur of cheesecake, I found it acceptable, but not great. I like the real New York-style cheesecake, thick and creamy, but others with different preferences might like it better. They had an interesting dessert menu, and I look forward to trying some of the other choices. I would have preferred a crispy crusted italian bread to the bread that was served, but I'm a hearty bread person - the bread was good and the dipping sauce was tasty. My friend has had the pizza and says it is delicious, with a thin crust and tasty toppings. There are soups and salads and sandwiches that would make a nice lunch for around $10. When dining out, I most want really tasty food and enough of it to fill me up. I'm not impressed with gigantic portions that I can take home for another meal - I'd rather pay a reasonable price and get a reasonable serving. We are such a nation of super-sizers that we sometimes lose all sense of proportion of what constitutes a reasonable serving size. I could have paid a little more and gotten a full serving of lasagna (to suit bigger appetites) and had some leftover to take home. Our waitress Amanda was pleasant and the service was good - she was attentive without being intrusive, which I like. Sunday through Thursday, the restaurant is open from 11 am to 10 pm, and open an hour later on Saturday and Sunday. Lunch is served until 4 pm. Parking may be a problem in the smaller lot inside the new area, especially when the stores are open, but there is plenty of parking in surrounding areas. All in all, it was a very good dining out experience, and I don't hesitate to recommend this new restaurant. The menu is extensive enough to allow for many different tastes, so I'm sure you'll find something that appeals to you. Update: Changed rating to 4 stars after going back for dinner - not quite as good as lunch - sauce on my meat was too salty and my friend's pasta dish had too little topping for the amount of pasta, though the taste was fine. The lobster bisque was good - much better than the Red Lobster or Youell's. The cannoli for dessert was more like a thick pizzelle cookie formed into a cone with filling - not melt-in-your-mouth pastry like it's supposed to be. Service was still good :-)

This was a surprisingly good option for primetime dining on a Saturday night, though perhaps since it was a holiday weekend & the start of summer the expected crowds were at backyard cookouts. We called ahead around 6:30 and were seated very soon after arriving. The restaurant has a pleasant, airy atmosphere and friendly staff. The rosemary bread and salad appetizer were excellent though I can't say the Italian wedding soup appetizer and main courses rose to that level. While my husband's sausage tortellini was delicious and hearty, the chicken in my selection from the lighter side menu needed to be marinated more (it was not flavorful at all) and also needed more veggies since my plate had way too much orzo pasta for a lighter option. Also my daughter's buttered noodles from the children's menu were just bland and greasy, and I am not entirely sure how so simple a dish could be messed up. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive since we had to wait to get drink refills and ask questions, however overall I'm still giving an "A-Ok" rating since the quality of food was slightly better than your average chain restaurant & it was a pleasant experience. I'd be game to go there again and try some different options.

Do not think I will be going back to this place. Should have went to Bone Fish Grill across the street. The waiter \didn't have a personality, he looked miserable. The food was no better. I thought for sure this place would have great food, but I could get the same quality anywhere. Nothing really set them apart, there was nothing special that made me say wow not even the bread.

In the pantheon of Whitehall chain Italian dining, you would start with the swill that is Buca then move to the middle of the road meh that is Olive Garden then finally up to Bravo. The thing that made our experience great was simply how easy everything was. I called in the afternoon to make a reservation. Hard? Hell-No-Easy. When we got there was getting seated hard? Hell-No-Easy. Service slow, bad, inefficient, lazy, indifferent or incompetent? Hell-No-Sweet. Food underdone, un-done, too hot, too cold, or just right? Hell-No-Good. Overall I can't really complain about much of anything during our time at Bravo. The food (tomato bisque soup, italian wedding soup, lasagna, chicken spaghettini)was simple, well prepared and all the flavors you would expect were present. From door to door in about an hour during a prime dinner time on a Friday. We'll be back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
