Great place with good food a solid 4 star on quality and selection the menu is extensive. The food is only the beginning the fast friendly service puts them over top. I Had to give them five stars for that. They have great sweet tea and seriously the best waffle fries ever. Here's a tip order them with cheese! I have to say that I have made better BBQ but that's not point mcd's isnt the best burger in the world but its always packed . Red Run is it's close clean fast friendly and consistently good food period.

Hubby and I tried Red Run once right after it first opened and we were not impressed and didn't go back until this weekend. Ok were fans. Wish I remembered what we didn't like about it before. We both ordered the #1 Combo, Pit Beef sandwich, Waffle fries and beverage for right around $5, great price. Service was great, order was taken easily with no inaccuracies and with a few specific details followed, such as pure horseradish not creamed in packets ~ NICE. Food is fresh, hot and perfectly moist and the UN-sweetened Ice Tea was delicious, no musty cloudy tea here! Waffle fries were OK. We just aren't fans of the fries, not that they were bad just no big deal. BIG plus was the table service to refill our beverages, Hubby was thrilled! Brings this a step above "fast-food". On our way out we noticed an outdoor picnic table and a gazebo near the back of the restaurant near a small creek. Would be a great location to dine on our next visit.

5 stars for the food alone. Beef was moist and very tasty. Ham was like Mom's at Christmas. Waffle fries were great. And then there was the best SWEET TEA since i left Texas. We have visited many times since our first visit. We love everything we try.

The meats are well prepared - we tried the pit beef, pit pork carolina style, and pulled pit beef with BBQ sauce. The waffle fries and sweet potato fries were also delicious. Staff is fast and friendly and there is a drive thru for those who wish to call ahead and scoop up some great BBQ!

This is one of our faves in Waynesboro. Living down south its hard to match their BBQ anything, but Red Run has matched it! The drive through service is by far one of the best I have ever used. This is the type of place that remembers you as a name and your order. We eat there at least once a week! I did suggest sweet potato pie similar to the apple pie that McDonald's sells. Bojangles in the south sells them and they're yummy and this keeps with the southern flair. Fingers crossed!

Service is good, but a little over the top. It doesn't always seem sincere to me. The food is decent and there are many choices for kids. I love the decor. It is pleasing and comfortable. I am tired of seeing signs that say, "The best ________ in town!" Really, time for a new campaign. There's nothing home cooked about there food but it is a good solution when you're in the hurry.

Ok, I'm a fan. I SLOWLY got to like this place. The first time I stopped I wasn't all that impressed. It's really hard to get in and out of the parking lot as it's on a busy street and it sits at a weird little angle in the road. I think the building might have been a bank in former days--just a guess. But it's on my way home from work and I stop there more and more often. Service has been great. Food is fresh (I especially like the veggie wrap) and the iced tea is to die for! And I consider myself an iced tea conessieur. Recently, (or at least recently noticed by me) out door picnic tables and a gazebo make outside dinning beside the little "Red Run" really relaxing.

The food is just ok but it feels like a McDonald's. The picture on the menu and what you get is very different and you get waffle fries instead of regular fries. The employees are nice but they don't listen to requests: I wanted hot sauce on the side which they forgot and I wanted a milkshake with no whipped cream but they put it on anyways.

This is my new favorite place. All the pictures inside of the food is actually what the food looks like. Place was very clean and people were amaxingly nice and helpful. Went there with my boyfriend.for dinner and got the grilled chicken sandwhich and sweet tea both were amazing. The sweet tea.is the best ive ever had and they will sell it by the gallon if u take an empty jug in. The g grilled chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I will definitely be going back soon.

Clearly nobody rating this place has had authentic BBQ that is actually smoked. Red Run claims to sell "pit" BBQ, yet they cook their meat in an alto-shaam (oven). The brothers that own red run and rolling mill are frauds who dish skimpy portions that are way overpriced. If you want real BBQ, hit me up and ill be glad to oblige.

Ok so I decided to give it another chance.. Went back for the Carolina Pork BBQ again and asked if they could put some extra Carolina BBQ sauce on it and was told "there is no sauce for this sandwich, the meat is marinated in the sauce" What!

If you are in the mood for bbq, this is a decent place. Everything from chicken to pulled pork and the best waffle fries you may ever eat. Soak them in malt vinegar, dump some extra sauce on your sandwich and you have yourself a great meal. This place sits above the average fast food joint, not just because of the food itself, but in decor and price. If you are trying to save a few dollars or are on a strict budget, hit the McDonald's up just up the road instead. Otherwise, stop here for very decent bbq and ridiculously good waffle fries, minus the weird tasting cheese sauce... And they have a friggin pirate ship out front! Ok, so its for little kids, but if you are bigger than they are, you can bully your way to being the captain!

Consistently good food , clean , very good service for So Central Pa. Good menu selections and hours of operation again a surprise for this area. They even have a speedy drive thru or outdoor eating areas if you can't stand the country music they play.

First and foremost, I was planning to eat somewhere else for a review today but the place I had in mind was closed and as a result rather than go home empty handed I decided to drive from Gettysburg west a little bit to try this place. I've been passing the old Pizza Hut turned BBQ joint forever and have meant to stop by. I also will admit I did something I seldom do, and causally mentioned I was planning to Yelp this place to the order taker. However, I do not think it affected anything since she did not know what Yelp was. Previous reviews had listed the price here as $$ but that is way off base, and as soon as I saw the menu board for the drive through upon arriving I knew this was in error. I parked and entered to find a nice well placed menu board along the wall, which is great for those of us with less than stellar eyesight. Why more places do not do this is beyond me. I started with the #4 combo, which was a BBQ beef sandwich and a side of wafer fries and a drink. I opted in for an extra ¢75 for cheese dip for a total of about $7.oo and some change. I barely was seated when the food was brought to my table. I started with the wafer fries as fries cool off the fastest and lose the most flavor first. The fires were perfectly salted and the cheese was more than sufficient for the amount of fries I had to my order. Next I decided to hit that BBQ beef sandwich like a sixteen year old at a college frat kegger. The meat was perfect, though I wish there was a tad more sauce on the sandwich was was a tad dry for a wet BBQ. However there were nice Arby's old-school style ketchup containers full of BBQ sauce which went right to work fixing that up for me. The drink was a Mt. Dew, and they taste the same everywhere. As for my stomach was telling me, and what my doctor would agree with, I Was full, but I Decided what the hell, the prices are cheap, I'm going to have another sandwich.Went back up to the counter and was going to go with a classic Carolina Pork, but I saw at the last minute on the POS they had a special, Pittsburgh BBQ. Well being from the Steel City I had to see what this was all about as Primanti's (and it's not BBQ) is the closest thing we had to BBQ back in the Steel City. I found the Pittsburgh BBQ to be rather interesting. Overall I liked it. It was sweet, but had a little bite to it, not much or not enough to be a turn off. Service was interesting. It reminded me of Hardee's right down to the little plastic numbers they gave you for your table A little like Arby's use to be with the BBQ sauce squeeze bottles on the table. Both the manager on duty and cashier were attentive, coming out several times during my visit to check on our comfort and to offer free refills. Compared to other BBQ in the area. I clearly would choose this place over Chubby's, and it's a hell of a run with Corbin's. I think overall, you get more food for the dollar here than Corbin's which has been in my top choice of BBQ in the area for two years as of this review. The number of selections of BBQ too nudges Corbin's a little as well. I would definitely make a trip from Frederick back up here for Red Run. (Hell, I make the trip to Rouzerville just for Hardee's all the time, and this place is several miles closer) So if you like good BBQ, and you like it affordable, and with good service, then you want to come here.

Well the Sweet Tea was good. When I got my pit beef sandwich home, I thought they had forgotten the meat. Nothing southern about this place.

Passing through town saw a "best pulled pork" sign and figured we would give it a try. Not impressed, the pulled pork was good but not even in the top 20 I have had traveling around the US. Bland store bought BBQ sauce. Overall good service but overpriced for what you get. No need to go back.

Come on people! Have you ever had real BBQ? Whats with all the great reviews? I've had better pulled pork sandwiches from a freezer container of Lloyds BBQ. Service without good tasting food,What does it matter? Never returning.
