I heard they've changed chef and food has been inconsistent. But since this is the only low price Chinese diner around Orchard Hills, I thought I'll just give it a chance. I wasn't expecting much after reading some of those negative reviews. But maybe I got lucky and ordered the right dish. Here what I ordered: 1. Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken Wings 2. BBQ Pork Fried Rice 3. Mongolian Beef 4. Fish in Black Bean Sauce Not only do these dish tastes very authentic (much better than Panda Express), but the ingredients were fresh, especially the fish and chicken wings. I think the owner must have been reading Yelp and those bad reviews got to him. So they made some improvements lately. However, my 5 stars rating is ONLY based on those 4 dishes above. How about the other dishes? I do NOT know. For now I'll just play safe and continue to order these dish until one day I feel adventurous enough to try something else.

Risotto's is a wonderful place to go if you are planning to eat Italian food. Their pizza is amazing! The crust is thin and crispy. The pizza is not oily like some other restaurants. My favorite is the margherita pizza. The bread they served was fresh and delicious. My only complaint was the calamari. It wasn't crispy or warm when it came out. Entrees around $25 each, pastas around $17-19, pizzas around $12-16 and they are essentially enough to serve 1-2 people. The concept is slightly upscale rustic Italian. The menu is quite extensive with something for everyone. Their wood-fire stove adds a wonderful ambiance to the anesthetic. The staff is very friendly and attentive and willing to go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied.

I ordered their north beach pizza for takeout- so I can't tell you much about the atmosphere or the wait staff, but the pizza itself was delicious. They were a little cheap with the chicken, but (to some extent) that's to be expected. Otherwise, it was very good, and we'll probably be ordering again soon. WARNING: they only deliver after 5pm! This is a terrible inconvenience if you live more than five minutes away, but not really an issue if you're just around the corner like me :)

Less than pleased with our $65 salads. We ordered 3 Cobb and 1 arugula salad with chicken for lunch as take out. Apparently on Sundays you pay dinner prices at lunch time if you are not ordering off the brunch menu. We were not told this until we questioned the high price at checkout and the manager explained the Sunday brunch reasoning. No apology or exception since there was no information on the website or communication from the person taking our order. That would have been great to know ahead of time. Now, if the salads were spectacular I could understand the high price but they were not. The bacon on my salad was very under cooked and fatty. I had to take it all out. The egg yolk was green and overall the salad was not worth it.

I've been going to Rizzuto's for years with my parents and although I don't live in CT anymore, I always request a Rizzuto's dinner whenever I am home. The staff is always so nice and welcoming to us & when I graduated from college, the manager bought me a bottle of champagne and brought it over to my table. Rizzuto's will always be my Thursday night spot.

I went to Rizzuto's Wood Fired Pizza Kitchen for the first tonight, and I was very excited by the energy from the people there, crowed, and, looks like a great place to get an authentic italian dinner. The service was terrific and they did a great job. Now the bad part: I ordered the chicken parmesan, and, when I first took a bit, I had to check if it was what I ordered. The chicken parmesan had no taste to it, and, the angel hair pasta, was dry and runny. Tasted like out of the box spaghetti. My wife ordered the eggplant parmesan, and after three bits, she told me she simple couldn't eat it. The dish had the skin left on it that was hard, the egg plat was mussy with no taste. She rarely complaints, however, the food was that bad, it was uneatable. They replaced it with a chicken parmesan dinner, and it matched mine, no taste, and not very good. As a good will gesture, they offer us free desert, it was the size of a half a dollar, and, nothing tasteful or special. I was surprise by the amount of people having dinner there, and, I just stand don't understand how people come to this place when it offers below par food. This was my first, and last time going to Rizzuto's - it was a waste of money, and, a terrible experience.

We were looking for some Italian food along Rt 84 on the way to Maine. We don't like rest stop food so we used Yelp to find Rizzutos. Highlights: nice outside seating with heaters and lighting. Unfortunately you can hear the cars racing by so if you're looking for a quiet dinner not outside. White pizza with broccoli flavorful but slightly undercooked . Center crust was soggy but my wife's Margherita was good. Meatballs served hot and average. Chicken Francese was disappointing. Chicken tough. Needs to be pounded!!!! Overall great staff. Friendly service.

Rizzuto's consistently delivers great fresh food at a reasonable price. Their pizza is light and flavorful with a crispy, slightly charred crust. The menu offers several great appetizers, including the amazingly delicious (and seriously not healthy) street festival fries with garlic aioli and spicy tomato dipping sauce. Their pasta entrees have a harmonious blend of complimentary pastas, sauces, meats and vegetables, and come in very large portions. Salads are also delightful and flavorful, without being overdressed. One dish that stands out is the four-cheese ravioli that contains light, fluffy pockets of cheese covered in a spectacular tomato sauce that has the perfect amount of spice to compliment the creamy cheese filling. Although the food is wonderful, what really makes Rizzuto's stand out is the service. They seem to make an effort to form meaningful relationships with their customers and strive to provide an enjoyable experience. We once ordered takeout and found that one of our entrees (a pasta dish) contained chicken, despite specifically stating that we needed the dish prepared vegetarian. When we called to let them know about the error, they were extremely apologetic, offered to deliver a new entree free of charge, and also sent us an extremely generous gift card to make up for the mistake. As frequent customers, the staff always goes out of their way to let us know they appreciate our business. Whether its a free dessert or free entree, they are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure our continued patronage. The bar also makes a mean Old Fashioned.

Been coming here for years and always loved the food. I was here last week with my wife son and his girlfriend. They ordered pizza ant i got my favorite, the Bolognese. The waiter was not attentive at all. He kept forgetting my drink and finally brought it at the end of our meal. He did comp it though. Everyone was happy about the pizza but my dish had a large egg noodle instead of pasta and the sauce was like a frozen entree. Theyre expensive and i expect better. I will however give them another chance.

One of my absolute favorites for a date night or evening out with the girls. Never had a bad plate here. I've been to a few of the other Rizzutos locations but the Bethel one is the best. Bolognese is a must.

Once you get past the cranky hostess with the blonde hair, things do get better. The salads are pretty lame, the pasta was ok, but the pizza was pretty good. Nice beer and wine selection. I wouldn't go there deliberately again, but if I was hungry and looking for pizza coming out of target, I would go back. To me, that's three stars. We had a really nice waitress too- which did help.

I've gotta say for the Bethel/Danbury area this is some of the best pizza that resembles my much more so loved New Haven style pizza. Not the same, but better than typical regular pizza stuff in Bethel.(ie famous, bethel pizza house yadada) So with that said comparing it to the places around it Im gonng give it 5 stars. Being from the area I've gone here several times with family and friends and have yet to be let down with any of the pizzas/dinners/deserts. They have a nice bar with large tvs & a nice dining area. They also have a very nice outdoor seating area I have yet to enjoy. Definetly a good place to bring a date or enjoy a nice drink, low key nicely lit kinda place.

Love the restaurant but the delivery service leaves a lot to be desired. The delivery guy is nice, but never brings plastic ware even when delivering to a hotel. Food is usually not a flavorful when delivered. If it wasn't such a wait to get in I would go there.

Honestly, I cannot remember what I ate -- it's been a couple of weeks since I was there. I do know that the food was very good and I will definitely be going back. They had a lot of yummy things on the menu. The service was outstanding, by the way.

I went to this restaurant based on yelps reviews. Very nice inside waitress was nice food came out in a timely order. That was the good now for the bad Overpriced food verse the portions of food received food was fresh no taste at all we had the chicken Marsala , meatballs, penny vodka. I mean no taste a lot of salt needed. Kind of sad this place looked like it had real potential.

So disappointed. My husband and our four year old on Sunday evening at around 5 pm. Not too crowded yet. Saw waitress once the entire time. Asked for crayons three times. My sons plain spaghetti came out with sauce. I requested no garlic in my dish which came out with tons of garlic. They were supposed to wrap something up and forgot. No one cared and this was before it got crowded. So disappointing and the price is excessive. Dishes are clearly not made to order and for 25$ entree they should be. I ended up shared my sons plain pasta. Plenty of other family friendly places with better service. Such a shame.
