Service is fantastic, very friendly, attentive and helpful. Food was delicious! I asked for no bread and they offered a fruit platter instead and for someone who is gluten free it was a very yummy swap! Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is quaint, relaxing and quiet... Wifi too!

1 for location A second for clean. A third for coffee. The waiter botched the order. Roasted pepper, goat cheese and bacon. I asked for the omelette soft ! It was cooked hard ! Only got peppers and cheese ! No bacon ! Of course when I said the omelette didn't have bacon, he said, you wanted bacon ? He offered to get me bacon. I said that's not how I wanted it. Forget it. When the bill arrived I was charged full price. I wrote my displeasure on the bill and my email address as well. Never heard from them ! My first and last visit for sure. Back to Minellas ! We tried Avenue Eatz for brunch on a Sunday. This seems like a neighborhood-style place. The dining area is clean, and there were booths (which I like) for seating. The atmosphere was welcoming and cheerful, the staff friendly, and the service good. I had the Farmhouse Omelet, which was very good to excellent. The prices are reasonable. I was very happy that unlike many other casual dining places, there was no television on the wall to distract you, or loud music to drown out conversation. To sum up, this is a pleasant local place with very good, reasonably-priced food and friendly service. What's not to like? We will be going back.

This is a basic-looking lunch counter place, they serve breakfast and lunch only. It seems to be a local favorite, if there actually is such a thing in chi-chi Wayne PA, but they have a homey feel. The pies are supposed to be very good, I did not have one on this visit. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. I ordered the roast beef salad. It came to my table in about 5 minutes. The lettuce was Romaine and fresh, the dressing was your basic ranch, the roast beef, while a bit well done, was fine and wrapped in a curly cue with cheese. A roll on the side which they make in house. Maybe this isn't their best dish, it was fine but a sloppy cheeseburger might be the way to go here!

Great basics, love the DIY coffee bar with big mugs, super friendly staff...simply a reliable and relaxing spot for mornings when I'm craving a leisurely solo breakfast with the newspaper and yummy food!

After reading all of the glowing reviews, some coworkers and I were really excited to try Avenue Eatz. Turns out it was just okay, but nothing to really wow us. I had the Flat Iron - a hot roast beef sandwich with sauteed onions and aged provolone cheese on a brioche roll with roasted garlic aioli on a fresh made brioche roll. I guess when I think of hot roast beef, I think of a melty drippy sandwich piled high with roast beef, but this was a more compact neat sandwich on the smaller side. It was good - just not what I was expecting - and I felt the price I paid for the sandwich, a bag of chips and a fountain soda (a little over 12 bucks) was a bit much. My coworkers all felt pretty much the same about what they ordered. They did bring out nice size pumpkin pie samples for us to try which was a nice touch. The pumpkin pie was right up there with the best, and I'm not even really very fond of pumpkin anything. Anyway, I do wish these guys the best of luck and I'm not saying I'll never go back. But it might be kinda hard with the competition that's in the strip next door - it's just hard for anyone to beat their sandwiches...

Nice breakfast and lunch spot. If they have cinnamon rolls (which I wish they'd make more regularly), buy one! The flat iron sandwich is great. Service can be a little on the overbearing/annoying side, but they're new and I'm sure will tone it down a bit eventually.

I really, really wanted to like this place. Situated next to my workplace, I welcomed a joint where I could get a quick burger without paying the outrageous $18 at White Dog Cafe. While the prices here were fair and a lot more in line with what was expected for a $10~ burger, the food itself fell a little bit short. The biggest gripe I have with this place is that their menu online does not reflect the prices at the store. After looking at the menu online and going to the restaurant, I noticed "The Ave" did not include bacon in it's price as listed on the website ($9). Apparently it's an extra two dollars for the bacon. I ended up getting the burger with bacon and anyway and have to say that it was well made. The brioche roll had great texture and tasted very fresh. The burger itself was juicy but I noticed that there was a cut in mine at the edge. I don't know if this was intentional to check if it was done but that made the bottom of the bun soggy. I still ate the whole thing though; it was still really good. Avenue Eatz is a great addition to the neighborhood.

I think I expected a bit more in ambiance from this place but overall our experience here was positive. It's got a coffee/shop diner vibe but the food here is above that. We had the brioche French toast-eggy and sweet with wonderful brioche. It came with a sugared bit of butter and a small portion of maple syrup. We also got a tomato and a cheese quiche as well as a slice of Apple pie. They warmed both of them before serving. Everything appeared to be homemade. Both of these items were excellent too and I would reorder any and all of them. There were four tables of people, max, at any one time but service was painfully slow, but polite. Our waitress was a soft-talker, even for those at the table with the best hearing.

My wife and I heard great things about the new Avenue Eatz. We found the place clean, staff friendly and food very good. I liked the self help coffee before you order was very convenient and the fresh orange juice I ordered was excellent. We met Joey who extended an invitation to the Pie Day on March 13. We do intend to go and bring a few friends. The pear and butterscotch pie sounds great.

Avenue Eatz is awesome. The staff/owners are incredibly nice and interactive. Went for breakfast on a Sunday, the owner gave us some free samples of fresh baked beer pretzels while we waited (which we then proceeded to buy on the way out since they were awesome). The coffee is self serve, which I like because I always have a full cup. The breakfast sandwiches are very good, the bread is outstanding. Overall an excellent breakfast option.

What a find! This is the sort of restaurant one looks forward to discovering. The staff were quite friendly. The food (we had breakfast) was absolutely delicious. The seating area is welcoming. Every table has a customer survey for feedback. We had one minor quibble (we put it on the customer survey the leave on every table), which would not deter us from returning. Five stars, all the way!

I'm having conflicting feelings about this place, which I'd been wanting to visit for awhile. The idea of cheap, quality brekkie on the Mainline is always appealing, especially when you can order it all day (or, at least, until 3pm). So I wandered on in hungover from the night before and was having an off day. Alas, I think maybe this place was having an off day, too. First off, the place was superficially dirty, meaning that a quick cleanup and some attention to basics was really all that was required. At its heart, it's got an overall relaxed, neighborhood-y vibe, not a gross, caked-on-filth vibe. There were bits of food all over the floor and under my table, and crumbs on my seat. Plus, the self-serve coffee bar had a ton of dirty mugs next to it. I kid you not, the first two mugs that I picked up must have been nonchalantly hand washed by someone having a bad day. I settled on my third try, only to find bits of fuzz on the rim after I'd poured my coffee and cream into the cup. And I was too hungover to genuinely care, methinks. The desserts and lone quiche in the glass case looked super appetizing, and their breakfast items also sounded really tasty and somewhat off the beaten path. For some strange reason, though, I was feeling like I wanted something healthy, so I went with a kale salad that included pecans, blueberries, bacon, tomatoes, and ranch dressing. My Pops went the breakfast sandwich route and ordered their garden special. It looked delicious, and I experienced both regret and envy upon us receiving our respective plates of food. Let me say this: Avenue Eatz does not know how to make a kale salad. I know, I know. Kale is trendy, cool, and approved by the masses. Still, my salad was so lackluster and naked that even my Pops felt sorry for me. "Where is all the stuff? Why didn't you get chicken? Why is there so much kale?" Ummmm, I don't know. But the kale wasn't properly dressed -- it looked like a gigantic heap of green garnish on the plate. The (bottled) dressing was served on the side, the bacon wasn't crispy, and the tomatoes were pink. The pecans were nonchalantly thrown on and lacked any pizazz to provide some oomph. The whole thing was sparsely topped and had very little going for it, but I ate a decent portion because I was hungry AF. The little round roll on the side, on the other hand, was home-baked delicious goodness. My Pops' breakfast sandwich on its fresh-baked roll looked so, so good, and he told me it was as great as it looked. *sob* The total bill was cheapity cheap. Our waiter was sweet, young guy and had a sense of humor. He almost even made me laugh, despite my hungover stupor. I should probably dock them down to two stars. I should. But there's so much potential here, it's not even funny. I really wanted to like this place! I just know I made a mistake and ordered the wrong thing. I have a feeling that the joint is normally clean and run by friendly, conscientious folks. And again, there's the off day thing. I get it, because I was having one of mine. I'm open to giving them another shot down the line, especially when I'm in a breakfasty mood (which happens often).

Great little diner with good prices (the fresh squeezed OJ is a little pricey at $4.50 but everything else is pretty inexpensive, $15 for two of us). On the weekends they have homemade cinnamon swirl brioche French toast, which was super tasty. My husband got a really good sausage, potato quiche, and alternating between the sweet of the French toast and the salty of the quiche/hash browns was a great idea. Friendly staff and attentive but not too attentive. Would recommend.

A solid place to grab a salad or sandwich for lunch. I haven't tried breakfast here, but I'm looking forward it. The prices are pretty reasonable and the menu is good. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is definitely some room for improvement. The drink selection is pretty minimal and the potato chip selection is worse. For my most recent visit, I had the general Wayne sandwich, but they were out of brioche rolls so I got a pretzel bun. The credit card machine was down so they were only taking cash, and it seemed really cold where we were sitting.

Cozy and lovely place with good food and friendly service. I've ordered vegetable omelet and loved it so much. In addition the waiter gave us a piece of lemon tart when we finished our brunch and he didn't include it on the check. I recommend this place to everyone.

Driving by and skipped Dunkin donuts and a diner Millnas and hopped into Eatz. First impression is superb. Did not like fact that I was served my sandwich in a carry out and portion was slightly smaller than I had thought. However my first bite of the veggie delight sandwich was superb it was delicious.

First time here. Awesome little place for a quick bite to eat. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a must and the food was simple but awesome (lemon blueberry pancakes!?!) .... Relaxed vibe, laid back, and love the reggae playing in the background ...

Went for breakfast on a Sunday. We were welcomed and got seated immediately as it was early, people who came late had to wait for sometime. Service: Was great main chef/owner came up to us and enquired on the food. Food: We ordered Sunday Special French Toast and Veggie Delight. Both were simply amazing in all aspects(taste/quantity/ etc). We were offered free Cranberry cookies to taste as well. Bottom-line: Small place but must visit place if you live near by. Well maintained, neat with passionate people to take care of you and your food. I will visit again for breakfast for sure!!!

I travel for work, so finding a real-honest meal that feels like homemade is very difficult in our age of restaurant chains and processed foods. This is my new favorite place to dine while I work here in Wayne. I ordered the Pitbull: a flame-grilled angus burger with a spicy sriracha bbq sauce, hearty strips of crisp bacon, and smothered in sharp cheddar cheese on a house made brioche roll served with chips and a pickle. Then a slice of maple bacon pecan pie for dessert, also a big WOW!!! I also couldn't resist and got three slices of different quiches to go. It's only open for breakfast and lunch so don't wait around. It's definitely worth a try or ten. :-)

Such a good breakfast place. We had the maple and Bacon quiche and the brioche French toast. Omg so good.

This new breakfast/lunch restaurant has only been open a few days. Already I'm back for seconds! First I had breakfast. House made brioche french toast w/ a heaping helping of hash browns and choice of fresh fruit. So hearty & sustained me for the entire day. The fresh squeezed orange Ade is an easy and scrumptious remedy for those early autumn sniffles. On my second venture I dined for lunch. I chose the Herbivore, a hummus and veggie sandwich. Fresh food, friendly staff w/ an open, airy atmosphere is a must!

I'm from Los Angeles and was in town with my daughter for a college visit. I absolutely love this place. The staff is exceedingly friendly. I met Joe the owner, who is a great guy and is passionate about his food. On the recommendation of my server, I had the maple bacon sandwich on pretzel bun. When I cut it in half and the egg yolk ran out just right, I knew it was going to be good, and it was. If this place were in LA, 1) there would be a line out the door every morning and all day long, and 2) prices would be at least 30% higher. Great value. While I dined, I overheard Joe describing all the risks he takes with knew pie and quiche recipes based on available fresh ingredients. Made me smile. I'm bringing my daughter back tomorrow and expect she'll be bringing her college friends with her this Fall.

Did you ever stop into a place blindly and been pleasantly surprised? My wife and I popped in last Sunday simply because we ran out local places to try and that's what happened. I had the burger, apple pie, and a sweet potato pie sample. All very good. (even the coffee's delicious). Rather than the particulars of the food, what really stands out is that these guys are actually making the stuff on site- and not just baking on site as some sort of token (think whole foods bread). The stuff actually tastes and feels homemade; The owner is actually honing the recipes. The result is that the food comes with the personal touch magic found in very few places. Still working out some very minor opening glitches. Positive attitude and great food is why Avenue Eatz is worth a try. You'll be back ;-)

Breakfast sandwich-- ham, eggs, cheese. Just finished and wanted to tell the world it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches. Period. Prices are good too. Looking forward to trying them out for lunch.

Homey feel but nothing fancy but the food is delicious I had the rustica omelet an had the shrimp burrito wrap. Good portions and friendly staff. They had quiche that looked really good. But real men don't eat quiche. Stop by for breakfast it will not disappoint.

Great little place. The owner aims to please and really cares about the customer. I wish more places showed this. The food is awesome with a wide range of interesting options. Love the Dirty Hippie breakfast sandwich.

This is our new Saturday hang out spot. Great omelets and breakfast sandwiches and the pies are amazing. Father and son joe and Joey are great. Fantastic addition to Wayne. We stop in, eat and bring take home for the kids.

Small gem and great add to the mainline. It is located near the dry cleaners in a small strip mall right before library. The burgers are really great. I was surprised by the different combinations. I had the chicken sandwich as well. All ingredients are fresh and cooked right in front of you. They are still learning so I would recommend if on a lunch break calling in order. I think once they get it down it will be an amazing lunch place.

Great new place in downtown wayne . Been here about a half dozen times and we have liked everything that we have had They have very good pretzel bread which I believe they make themselves. My daughter loves the grill cheese. The highlight though are the pies. Pies, pies, and more pies. We love the coconut custard, the apple raisin, and the peanut butter pie. The owners are also very nice. They have a loyalty program which they keep on file for you. Highly recommended

Went on opening weekend and it was great. I had the french toast with a praline topping and it was outstanding. They mentioned while ordering that the bread is made in-house; very impressive. Honestly, this was the best french toast I've ever had, hands down. I really can't wait to go back and get it again. My husband had a pretty standard omelet which he also enjoyed. One thing to note - it's a fast casual setting. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Coffee is the same way. This is our new favorite breakfast place!

I took my sister here for brunch; she had the crème brulé French toast, and I had the breakfast burrito. The French toast was of royal descent: light, fluffy, crispy, and with a hint of orange, this French toast was incredible. My breakfast burrito was one of the best I've had; mind you, I declined my choice of meat therefore I did not get the full experience. Their hot sauce options were phenomenal, and i do recommend (if the breakfast burrito is for you) you ask for some. They were extremely kind the entire meal, and even gave us extremely tasty peanut butter chocolate chip cookies -- completely complementary. If brunch is what you want Avenue Eatz is a prime choice.

Excellent food, excellent service. I had the dirty hippy and my sister had the breakfast burrito. Both dishes well put together with lots of flavor. Quality food for an excellent price. Very friendly staff and if we are ever in the area again we'll definitely be returning.

You can tell that it is a new restaurant that's still trying to get use to things. Staff was very nice. Chef came and out and said hello. Saw him bring a customer's meal out himself. Very health menu options. I had the turkey sausage which was amazing. My roommate and I both ordered hashbrows but they ran out and split it between the two of us. To make up for it, they gave us both free pies. Which is just as delicious.

Love love love this place! Delicious food and super friendly people. The owner is great and shows his dedication to the breakfast & lunch restaurant. They use fresh ingredients and offer great daily specials. Also, they are always baking up new goodies, I haven't had a bad one yet! I definitely recommend Avenue Eatz.

Food is fresh and delicious and they do it all right in their place including all of the baking. Owners and staff are personable and appreciative. Support local business! Just open for breakfast and lunch. I hope the continue to increase business because I would love to see them stick around. FYI the burgers are fabulous!

Great addition to the main line! This relatively new Wayne, PA casual dining restaurant offers delicious, classic dishes with a modern twist. Breakfast sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients, and all items are reasonably priced. The restaurant is situated next to a dry cleaning business on Lancaster Avenue, and largely due to zoning restrictions, has minimal signage. Don't miss this main line favorite. And don't skip dessert--the pie is fantastic!

Tried the BLTe for breakfast and added avocado...it was delicious! The homemade brioche bun and the garlic aoli were awesome and there was just the right amount of bacon on there. I'll def be back soon!

Such an improvement over the Bagel Factory- I'm sold on the home-made pies and quiche. You can't get that anywhere else around Wayne. And the staff are all good people, SO nice. A hidden gem.

We were 800 miles from home when we found Avenue Eatz for a breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were greeted by a friendly staff, fast service and attentive wait staff. The coffee was high quality and we enjoyed a couple of omelets. They were loaded with high quality ingredients and tasted fantastic. In talking to the owner, Eatz has been open for eight weeks. We wish them long term success - they are off to great start.

Super friendly and amazing fresh food! Got the dirty hippy with bacon and it was DELICIOUS! Gave us free coffee last time we went in and today they gave us free Heath bar cookies. Haven't tried their pies yet but they look mouth-wateringly good...that's what we'll be getting next. Go here!!!

Great addition to Wayne. Friendly staff and an excellent menu. Got the steakhouse burger(goat cheese, fried onions and mushrooms) and am always amazed when a place can get the temperature right. It doesn't hurt that it was delicious. Looking forward to trying breakfast.

I love breakfast, so I am always on the lookout for new places to try. When a friend and I were planning to grab some breakfast this morning I came across this little place on Yelp, so we gave it a try. It's a cute little place, clean and simply decorated. The atmosphere was causal and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It felt like a real neighborhood shop. The coffee was self serve, but with real mugs, which I appreciated, and it was tasty! I ordered the brioche French toast with blueberries and a side of sausage. Both were very good, although for the extra two dollars, I would have liked more blueberries and for them to be fresh instead of what seemed to be thawed frozen ones. My friend had a farmhouse omelet that she really liked, and she said the hash browns were amazing! Overall, aside from the blueberries, I can't find any fault in my experience today. Can't wait to go back!

We needed breakfast on the way to visit Villanova. Did a quick check on Yelp for breakfast places in the area and Eatz came up. We've never been in the town or the area so had no idea what to expect, and frankly we would have been happy to get a breakfast burrito at 7-11 since we were in a rush and hungry. All I can say is, this was a great find. Cute little shop, friendly owner, phenomenal food, and quick service. I had a traditional egg sandwich on a brioche roll and it was great- the roll was super fresh. My wife had a crab Oscar egg sandwich - omg so good. Daughter had a well portioned omelet. Took home a Cinnabon bun because it looked so good. Excellent coffee too. Really hoping my daughter goes to Nova. We don't live in Pa, but at least we'd get to Eatz on our visits. Highly recommend.

Everyone who works here is so friendly and professional. The menu is diverse and the food is amazing. I want to try everything! Breakfast is served all day. Dont forget to order hashbrowns with quiche. They are so good! All of the baked goods and bread is fresh and delicious. The pies are also out of this world. Especially the cheesecake pie. I cant wait to return to my new favorite breakfast and lunch spot.
