Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Blood Pressure at Pizza Hut

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

This is my favorite pizza place back home. When you first walk in, it seems a bit narrow, but once you see all the pizzas, garlic knots, strombolis and etc, it wont matter. Its dangerous to go here when you are super hungry, because you'll want to eat everything. I've had a lot of their items, too many to list. But be reassured when I say that mostly everything on their menu is perfecto. I especially love their buffalo pizza and the sub pizza with the lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo type of sauce and meat. It has more of a refreshing, cold taste to it. The garlic knots are perfect and the service is very speedy. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. I've never encountered a grumpy or miserable person behind the counter. This shop should cater if they don't already.

They have an unbelievable selection of pizza. Everything from plain to chicken taco, beef taco, grilled veggie, buffalo chicken, cheese steak. Haven't hit a bad slice yet. Excellent crust and toppings. The selection is better during more traditonal dining hours - choices get lean at off times. The non-pizza options are very good too. We enjoy the grilled vegetable wrap and the California chicken wrap. The cheese steaks and grinders are HUGE - take up the entire plate. Our kids really like the pierogies and spinach rolls. Lots of beverage choices in the 2 coolers as well as fountain choices. Prices are reasonable and the staff is great.

I've had better pizza, but pretty good specialty pizza by the slice. The crust is on the thinner side. They usually have a decent assortment of slices available, garlic knots, and other foods ready to go. There is a tv hanging so you have something to do while the pizza gets "re-fired".

I have been looking for some good, and affordable, gluten free pizza for quite some time so when I came here and found out that I could get a fairly large, gluten free pie for $9.95, I was floored! The pizza did not disappoint either. The wait was only about 10 minutes, and my 8 year old niece, who is not gluten free, enjoyed it so much, that she said she wants to go back for it! On top of that, they offer amazing truffle ice cream desserts for $5.00. At first I thought the cost for this bite sized treat was high, but I went for it anyway and the price was worth it. The interior of the restaurant is newly renovated, and nicely done. Everything is clean, and new, and the staff is friendly and kind. I think I found my new go to pizza place! :)

Just lost a customer: Used to come here all of the time when I was on break from work. Came here just now around 7:30pm on a Saturday night. The pizza tasted like it was sitting out all day and they must have new owners. This old hag lady who looked absolutely miserable was working the cash register, I asked for a cup of water and watch her take the cup, go Over to the sink and just fill it. Usually, when I ask for a cup of water they give me a cup and I get my COLD water from the machine. After paying, I went over to the machine, dumped my WARM water out and fill it with cold water. This lady comes over and starts yelling at us for getting cold water. Safe to say never coming back here for mediocre pizza and warm tap water. This place fits in perfect with the area, TRASH.

Is there a zero star option? I was taking the train to the airport and this "pizza" shop was the closest thing in walking distance. I stopped in around lunch time. ...hmmm....no prices but lots of diff pizza. I chose the taco pizza. It was not a good , but alot of the other pizzas looked burnt or dried out. Well, the lettuce on the taco pizza was obscuring a burnt mess underneath. And worse yet...ONE slice of pizza and soda was $6.10....no kidding... This place is a dive. U see why there were no price on the individual slices. AVOID!!

I have lived in Warminster for 2 years. I have gone to pizza plaza for pizza and have had multiple problems. One issue I had was I went into the restaurant with a friend and ordered a chicken buffalo pizza.it arrived at the table and there was no chicken on it. I questioned them and they said the chicken was under the cheese. I then asked why doesn't the pizza look like it does where you sell your slices. They made us a new one.The next visit my friend was double charged on his credit card. another instance I went in for a slice and I asked for Buffalo chicken and they gave me a buffalo chicken with blue cheese and didn't even give me the option. They just gave me what they had. Remember another thing, if you go in and you don't have seven dollars cash and you ask to use your credit card and it comes to $5-$6, they will lecture you and tell you that the manager HECTOR requires at least a seven dollar purchase. As a long time customer due to convenience not quality I found this extremely insulting and I will not go back ever again. Go to Giuseppe's in Warminster their pizza is extremely good and their wings are the best. I only go to pizza Plaza because it's much closer but in the future I will go to Giuseppe's not pizza plaza and Hector pizza and his dictatorship employees.

I went here for their gluten free pizzas. They are nice and reasonably priced. Their gluten-free pizzas only come in one size (typical for an average gluteny pizzeria that's kindly catering to the gluten-free crowd) and are more expensive given the size, but unlike Grandma's Grotto down the road, they don't pass it off as a "large" and charge you over $20 for it. It's a frozen pre-made crust, approximately 12 inches, that they put together in a dedicated gluten-free area, and they give you a free (chintzy, but free!) pizza cutter to go with it. They get a thumbs up from me!

We have been going here in waves over the last 5-6 years. Their new dining room is beautiful and spacious. The food varies depending on what you are ordering from decent to great. The panninis are not good, mushy on the inside, and over cooked on the outside. The calzones are great and they have fantastic speciality pies. The staff is nice and take pride in there food even if they mess up my take out order on occasion. Overall they are great just need some trial and error as some of the sandwiches are hit and miss.
