I would like to start this review off by saying that this place has very good Japanese food, and the Chinese food is average. But the manager in charge (as well as one of her children)is completely arrogant, rude, and unprofessional! *If you don't want to read what's below, I will sum up my experience in a nutshell. The food is great, the management is arrogant and rude, the cooks are passionate and nice, and I will only ever get take out or delivery from this place if I'm not in a hurry to eat at all for the next 2 hours.* _______________________________________ I ordered delivery about every other week, and it was usually delivered 40 minutes after the time they originally told me it will be delivered (in this case, it was 35 minutes). I'm a pretty patient person, so I usually don't mind. But tonight, I decided to call up and see why it always takes so long I called up, and a child answered the phone. I have been to the restaurant before, so I knew it was the owner's daughter. I ask nicely if I can speak to a manager, and she asks me why and asks me my name. I was a little thrown off by the fact that she asked why, but it was whatever. When I got on the phone with the woman that owns the restaurant, I explained my situation to her. (Keep in mind, I was completely respectful when talking to her). Right off the bat, she starts yelling at me in broken English, saying "I never tell you 35 minute!", "Go to different restaurant!", and also going as far as to threaten calling the driver to tell them not to drop off my order. The woman had no modesty at all, and was very bitter and mean. That's a shame, because the last time I was in the restaurant, I overheard a cook talking to some customers about how passionate he is about making food that people will love, and how happy that makes him. It is now 2 Hours later, and I doubt my food is even coming.... If you don't believe me, go there yourself,or better yet go and order delivery.

This is you basic, strip-mall Chinese restaurant. I've gotten Chinese food from here a handful of times, generally because I live across the street. Last night I decided to try their sushi at the recommendation of a friend. I decided on their "All Day Sushi Special" 3 rolls for $12. There were probably 20 options, something for everyone. I wanted a Philadelphia roll, but wanted to know if the salmon was raw or smoked (I wanted raw). The young girl (like elementary aged) translated the question the sushi maker, but there was confusion, I couldn't understand what he was saying, and he couldn't understand me. So I just picked a different roll, first world problems. I ended up with the shrimp tempura, spicy tuna crunch, and California. Each roll was 6 pieces (at my favorite place in Assi you get 8 pieces), it was good, nice to have a large selection, but I'll continue to go to Assi Plaza (Misoya Sushi).

I live nearby and had never been here, so I decided to give it a try. The service was so bad that I can't even tell you how the food was (Ok, it was fair, but nothing special). We sat down and then were forgotten. After waiting much longer than I should have, I finally got up and asked if we were supposed to order at the counter. The Chinese man who barely spoke English went in the back, came back out and said someone would be right over...waited another five minutes and then a brusque young Chinese woman came over and took our order. I'll spare you the details of my issue with the tea, but when I questioned it, this girl went ballistic on me..literally YELLING at me. At that point, I told her to take the tea back. I didn't want it. When there was a charge for the tea on my bill, I went to the cashier and asked to have it removed. Well, then angry girl was back and yelling at me AGAIN!!! Clearly she is management or owner because no employee would get away with that behavior. I held my ground, did not pay for the tea and was yelled out the door. I would NEVER go back there and would not recommend this place to anyone.

The quality of food is the only thing working for this place. The hostess/ phone person is clueless to how to answer any questions about the food. Plus can't write any special orders correct. Management is COMPLETELY RUDE! Really no peppered tuna, plus brown rice, extra wasabi n ginger. 9 times of 10 getting the order WRONG, plus a RUDE driver and manager. When I tipped him 10 on a 20 bill. Again I will never order from u again. Bc u do have zero customer service. Good service will feed the plant u potted. Forgetting the steps to how you got u there, will aid in your plant dying. BAD NEWS ABOUT A RESTURANT SPREADS LIKE WILDFIRE. ATTUTIDE from a manager, NOT NEEDED! YUUUMM, WARM SUSHI, No ice packs or insulated containers, even Pizza Hut heats ur food. Works both ways. Guess this place hopes you get sick!

I strongly suggest that my friends do not go to Hunan City, Street Rd., Warminster. I ordered Hot-n-Sour soup, fried scallops & pork fried rice to go. Upon arriving at work, I discovered they gave me Wonton soup instead I called & gracious Mindy told me that I ordered Wonton soup. I replied that I don't eat Wonton soup & ordered Hot-n-sour. She proceeded to yell at me that she takes orders all day long & I ordered Wonton. She also said that if they remade an order every time someone calls they would be out of business! I told her that in America normally the customer is always right. So I then called her a bi.ch and that I would never patronize the restaurant again. Oh, She had me so worked up i forgot that when I asked for lemons for my scallops, she didn't now what I meant by LEMONS! I finally said, the fruit you put in iced tea!

I work very close to Hunan City and decided to give it a try. Best Sesame chicken I've ever had! The waitresses there are the owners children, under 12; but they are polite. There really wasn't a lot of people there at lunch. I believe it makes it's money from take outs. But the food is very good. I will be getting food from there again!

I write this review with a bit of sadness. Hunan City has been our go to local Chinese place for the past 4 years since we moved to the Warrington/Warminster area. After our experience today, I am doubtful we will be back in the future. This evening (7/25/2014) my husband and I took our daughter out to dinner after work. We were greeted, seated, and served by the owner's 2 young daughters (approximately 8-10 years old). They were sweet and seemed eager to make sure we had a good experience. A few minutes after we ordered though, things went downhill. I ordered Tofu with Broccoli and my husband ordered a combination plate of Snow Peas and Chicken with sauce on the side and substituted pork fried rice for chicken fried rice. The owner, Mindy, came back over to our table to explain that my husband could not order the combination platter with sauce on the side. He wasn't exactly sure why that couldn't be done, but he is an agreeable person and just ordered the dish without the combination platter and a side of the fried rice. Mindy was very short with us, seemed irritated that she had to clarify the order, and frankly appeared to be in a bad mood. We all have tough days, but they should not be taken out on loyal customers. When our order arrived, my food did not come out with my husband's order. We waited a few minutes thinking that the food was just slow to arrive. I ended up getting up to see where my order was. Mindy came over to our table and was very upset with us that we were asking about my order. She explained (rather angrily) that she came over to clarify the order before and that we said "that was it." The problem with that logic is that she clarified only one of our orders (my husband's) and not mine, since there was nothing changed with my side of the order. I think having children taking your order leaves room for miscommunication. That, coupled with the blatant attitude from the owner changes the way we feel about Hunan City. Feedback is a gift. I hope Hunan City will read this and make some changes.

Good take out - all day special sushi rolls is a good deal, less expensive then wegmans and fresher as they are made to order. I also like their dumplings they are made with a thicker dough - delicious

this place isnt much to look at from the outside, and it's located in a strip mall that doesn't exactly shine. but i had some excellent sushi and decent lo mein here. if you're in the area give it a shot! the server/cashier was kind and cared enough to ask if we enjoyed our meal. the salmon tasted fresh and i liked the little koi pond (although saw only goldfish.. no koi) in the front of the establishment.

This place have the best Chinese food I ever had. I get delivery from them all the time but today I came to the restaurant to seat and eat and the food as usual the best. I had a guest today from Philadelphia with me and he said from the noodle to the entree the best he ever had
