This restaurant has the best Hibachi performance so far. An individual cook will cook the Hibachi for each table. The dining environment is awesome: clean, nice music, good decoration. The cocktail is 6$ and tastes great. The Hibachi is ~18$ each dish but worth the price, and great choices include shrimp, steak and filet. Anyway, a five-star recommendation! I don't know why others bother the serving speed, but our cocktail, free soup and salad was served almost immediately and the Hibachi was also served fast on July 4th. Plenty of free parking outside. It's adjacent to a movie theatre and mall.

I really wish hibachi places would 'freshen up' their show. It's the same one time & time again and I guess Shogun ends up getting the 'brunt' of my dissatisfaction. The chef wasn't all that exciting or friendly... But let me start from the beginning. We arrived (4 of us) at 7pm on a Sunday. The place was mostly quiet with only 2 hibachi tables seated out of 8. The waitress showed us over to a table where a family was already seated. Not sure of the progress of their meal- we sat down and waited. The waitress delivered soup to the family so I asked them if they had also ordered already. They said yes... This being our first time there and also driving from Pittsburgh, there was no way in hell they were going to rush us through our dinner. I picked up our menu's and utensils and promptly moved us over to another hibachi table. The waitress was surprised at my move when she arrived carrying our beverages, and that was the beginning to our mediocre meal. Just a couple highlights- We ordered fried rice. What normally comes in fried rice? Carrots, peas & egg you say? Not this time. It was just egg. COME ON! How much do some peas & carrots cost? Had I known that- I would have stopped at Ollie's & brought them a bag of frozen veggies. What color is fried rice? If you say a caramel shade of brown- give yourself a star. This rice was opaque at best. Can't afford a little extra soy or Teriyaki sauce? Shame on you... I'll spare you the rest of the boring details, save yourself the $125 (for 4), and go someplace else...

Nothing but great food at a reasonable price. Hibachi is entertaining and enjoyable thanks to the chefs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. 5 stars for quantity, quality, and price of food!

Haven't been to a Japanese steakhouse in a while. This was good. I remember better, but it did the trick. Had the steak and shrimp combo dinner. As expected. We did order the Red Dragon roll (their version) eel, spicy crab, avocado. This was pretty good. I'd like to try the other sushi there. They chefs were really the best part of it. Very entertaining to their tables and all around. They definitely cater to the kids there (we dined early around 6) and the little one with us took it all in and loved it. There were a lot of kids there and they all seemed to enjoy it.

Don't walk. ... RUN ... AWAY!!!! Worst experience in decades! The hostess either lost our name or gave away our table. Then once we were finally seated, it took 40 minutes for someone to take our order. We ordered the calamari appetizer, and the server disappeared. We would have preferred to finish ordering our dinner too. The Calamari came out in an acceptable period of time, and it was hot & reasonabley satisfying. We were able to order our dinners when the appetizer was delivered to our table. I ordered sushi, and my wife ordered the Pad Tai, with shrimp. My sushi took a bit longer to come out that I would have expected, and my wife's dinner never came. After about 10 minutes, she insisted that i go ahead and eat my dinner. When I was nearly finished, the server finally returned, and we inquired about my wife's dinner. Before the server could get away, we instructed her to make the meal "to go". She got this part correct. We paid the check and headed home. Once home, we sampled the meal, and discovered the pad tai was fit for a newborn. No spice or kick like one would expect from Pad Tai. I did make a point of leaving a $0.01 tip on the check, just so they wouldn't assume We forgot to leave a tip. Important note; We had requested table seating as opposed to Hibachi seating.

Very fun atmosphere. We made reservations, but still had a 45 minute wait. It was a weekend though. The food was really good and the staff was entertaining.

hibachi is always a good time, and i've noticed that most hibachi restaurants are pretty much the same. fun cooks, good food, innovative drinks, and somewhat reasonable prices. i like that this place specifically allows you to chose if you want a hibachi table with the live cook or just a regular dining room table. the only thing i didn't like was that we sat pretty much as late as we could, but we didn't stay later than the kitchen was open or anything. as we were sitting there still eating, they broke out the mop and started closing the place. i totally understand getting a head-start on closing duties if you're pretty dead, but some things should really wait til all your customers leave.

The meal was varied - the soup was very watery, the salad so-so with peculiar dressing. The hibachi filet mignon was very nicely done and the sauces were tasty. The sides - vegetables and shrimp were good. Eating at a chefs table would be great fun.

Best hibachi and sushi. Price is lower than others. They also have some popular asian food. Will be back for sure.

We eat here about every week to 10 days. Usually sit at the sushi bar. The hibachi grill is very good with typical chef show, but the sushi is why we go. Finding this quality in the Uniontown Mall is surprising to say the least. Love, love, love it!
