They do not brew beer and don't seem to know anything about it. They have a list of brewers but not the beers on tap. Also, they were it of many in the list anyway. The server explained that it's because a bar tender is in charge of ordering and he doesn't know how to do it.

Despite the name, they brew no beer, & server was disgusted with us that we thought that by the name "brewing company" that they would make their own beer. Salad was fresh & menu had a large selection. It could have been cleaner. Many tv's but they weren't turned on.

This pace has really gone downhill. I used to frequent this establishment, when I worked nearby in the late 90s. Back then it had a great beer selection, great food, great service and all at a decent price. I went again last year and noticed they were a little "off" but figured they were just having a bad day. I went there yesterday and I was appalled, to put it mildly. My daughter ordered a raspberry iced tea, but we sent it back immediately. It had so much sugar that it literally tasted like raspberry syrup. Then, we asked for lemonade, easy right? Sorry, we are out of lemonade, the waitress said. We finally settled on water. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, again an easy order. Sorry, the waitress says. We don't have the ciabatta bread for that sandwich. By this time I was thinking that maybe I should have went to the grocery store for them before I came in. They seated us in the sun-room area of the restaurant, and it was a hot day outside. We were effectively in the hottest room of the building (with about 20 other people) while the rest of the air-conditioned areas of the restaurant were completely vacant. Thanks, guys. I just love to eat lunch in a hot, crowded room with sweat pouring off of my forehead and onto the food. So, I get up to use the rest room. The men's room has one toilet and naturally it is plugged up and has feces floating in it. There goes my appetite for the day. I wonder if anyone has fixed the plumbing yet. As an aside, why would a busy restaurant have only ONE toilet? The sun room was setting up for a poker tournament just before we left, so the room got even more crowded. It doesn't matter because we were leaving anyway, and NEVER going back. To anyone in this area looking for a place with good beer and good food I offer these two words: BARLEY CREEK.

I hosted a surprise party for my mom this past weekend in their semi-private space, the Loft. The event organizer Chastity was very attentive during the planning stages, and the event itself. Especially to help put my mom at ease when she was reluctant to come inside! She obliged any request I asked for, including helping me sing a song to my mom over the sound system. All our guests raved at how delicious the food was (we had the Home Cooking Buffet) The only thing missing was music (asked for background music to be played over the house system) and handicapped access to the loft on the 2nd floor- my elderly aunts had a bit of trouble with the stairs. Also drink service was a bit slow since we did not do the open bar option, our server had to go downstairs to the main bar each time we ordered a drink. But overall great staff and food!

No they do not brew their own beers. The food is subpar and the beers are overpriced. We pulled into the restaurant because of its curb appeal. Do not make the same mistake we did. You will leave unhappy with a lot less money in your pocket.

Cold beer. It shouldn't be that hard. Chill the glasses. Food is OK if you arrive with a buzz and don't really care.

Pocono Brewing Company: Let me count the ways that the experience was a memorable one. In fairness to the management, they comped the meal after some spectacular missteps. The meal started with a forty-five minute wait for water after our orders were placed. The waiter appeared with water after one of our party went to the bar and asked for water to be served. Where was our waiter? Watching TV at the bar. When the food arrived after an hour of waiting, one order had been left off the service. Try not to order the pierogies - the proposed sauteed pierogies arrived in a pulpy boiled mass, bearing the stamp of a Mrs. T's production line. The coconut crusted shrimp were so small, they seemed to be harvested from a krill ball; they were so deeply fried so that shrimp disappeared and only the fried batter remained. Served on a bed of wilted and blackened mixed greens, the shrimp were a prelude to the next course which was a rack of ribs. The ribs were slathered in oily barbecue sauce and cooked with a large piece of plastic wrap which was plated and served to our table. After a brief conversation with the manager, she apologized profusely and ended up bringing extra water so that there were about 15 glasses of water on the table. This team was not equipped for success, from the kitchen staff, to the front room staff - their management failed them by not training them to provide basic service.

Was there a little after lunch. For a place called the Pocono Brewing Company, there was no local beer brewed onsite. Actually the beer menu was a little confusing too. Only showed the brewers and not the specific beer itself. You had to ask and when I asked about which "Great Lakes" beer was on tap the reply was Stella Artois?!? Server was slow to refill drinks even though she walked by us 4-5 times as our clearly empty glass sit on the table. Actually another table had the same issue as a little girl would shake the ice in her glass for attention. The pulled pork was just mediocre. Seemed to be bottom of the pot as some of the pork was a little crunchy. The homemade (deep fried) chips were ok. Some good and some under cooked. Won't be returning.

Ugh, where do I begin? I tried using the restroom, but it was far to disgusting for any mammal to use. We waited for a very long time to get food, and even longer for the check, service was disappointing. And also the restaurant name claims that they are a brewing company, but when we asked for a craft beer, they said that they "Don't brew beers anymore", and I ordered three beers, which were on the menu to which they replied to me that they had none of the three, and that all they had was cours lite (which every bar has). The food was VERY average and if you want a medium well burger, you're getting medium rare, and not what you ordered. The atmosphere seemed like they weren't even trying, it looked very unsanitary and they a sonic the hedgehog basketball machine, I mean, seriously? But the lemonade was good, though.

Three strikes and you're out. Food is bad and the beer is never cold. No clue how this place stays in business. I've given it my last try.

We should have trusted the reviews here on Yelp instead of listening to the lady at the horseback riding place for recommending a place to eat. For appetizers we had the Blooming Onion $7.95. The fried batter part was falling about and you are basically drinking oil. We also had the Spinach Artichoke Dip $8.95 that was really good and had cheese on top. When you run out of chips, you can save it to dip your fries in! I love burgers with onion rings so I got the Chicken Boom Boom Burger $10.95 (jack chedder cheese, boom boom sauce, bacon and onion rings) It was huge and I didn't like the cole slaw it came with. The onion ring was also dripping with oil. For meat and burgers with beef, if you want medium rare, order medium. There were 2 burgers at our table that wanted medium rare and got medium. One was sent back and still came medium.

The bar and beer selection were great (4 stars) the fish tacos were bland and my steak was over cooked. (2 stars). Bartenders were attnentive. I recommend stopping in for a drink.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and a few drinks. It was slow at first, but picked up as the dinner crowd came in. They have a nice outdoor backyard that we hung out and enjoyed the weather in. The bartender was really nice and very knowledgeable about the beer selection that they offered. We ordered the beer flight sampler and the portions are totally worth the price. For lunch I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap which was very tasty and my boyfriend ordered the steak. Both were very delicious and exactly what we expected for a bar/ restaurant food. We will def stop in again the next time we return to the poconos.

Spotted in on a Tuesday evening for a small bite and a drink, was sort of dead, and we had a short wait while the host was serving tables. We ordered the mixed wings in with honey mustard, garlic and creamy Cajun sauce. The Cajun was my favorite with spices and slight heat. My first time having pig wings (which we were told were pig shins), I think it tasted like a pork rib. The turkey wings definitely had more meat on them, but the chicken wings is what I would order again. Also, the Stella and blue moon were great as always. Tv's at each table were nice for conversation lulls/starters, and the beer menu is a good size.

They have a burger I love called the smokey mountain burger. Not crazy about the atmosphere. Always very loud. The wait staff always seems like your bothering them. Last night I was there I waited in the front for 10 mins with employees walking right past me like I wasn't there.

Was so looking forward to eating here as we have in the past. After a fun day gambling we were ready for some Really great PBC food! Something was a miss When the hostess never sent a bus boy to clean the table we sat at. We chose to sit there but she knew it was dirty nice girl. Menus were ripped and worn and dirty. When I asked about what use to be there tasty pastry type pierogies, The server just didn't know what I was talking about. Then I asked about Fried shrimp in a basket. Didnt have that either. Another server then told us that it was under new owners! That was our clue to leave. We really should have left. I ordered two different types of pierogies fried and sautéed. Well Mrs Ts Frozen Box ones is what I got. Sautéed ones were drowned in greasy oil and hard onions. Fried ones overly fried and hard to cut but had soft onions Should have known better. Then I got Mac n Cheese bites Frozen again and over fried and dried out. Wilted hot lettuce was a garnish. No dipping sauce came with them. Strike two. I orderd What was supposed to be giant jalapeños stuffed with shrimp and cheese! Same story hot wilted lettuce and no sauce. My husband's steak salad was a huge disappointment tiny slices of steak and a huge bowl of greens steak was well done and hard to chew. Funny thing about this place is the dishes came out burning hot so hot you would burn your hand. This is either food sitting in the hot window explains why hot lettuce garnish. Or line cooks are heating plates under the broiler?? Just strange. Our Table was broken and wobbled back and forth. The bus boy was on point and quick to take our plates. The server was a nice girl. I never saw a manager at all other wise I would have let them know how disappointed we were! We will be going to Ambers Steak House from now on! Its a shame cause the food use to be good!

Dining date January 9, 2014 for drinks and food after work. The bar area was crowded on a Friday after work. The draft beer selection is pretty good with a variety of craft brews from wheat beers to porters and stouts. The bar food is pretty average, with the typical burgers, steak sandwiches and a variety of appetizers. The bowl of chili was mildly spicy with lots of meat. The poppers were pretty much supermarket freezer variety dunked in the deep fryer. My friend enjoyed his steak sandwich. Good place for drinks with friends, but the food is average bar food.

What a HUGE disappointment! :-( Expected more from the re-launch, not ripped menus and tasteless food. The staff is Way too Good for this place. They go above & beyond & deserve Better. The servers were sweet, the manager was marvelous, Mark our bartender was funny & made great drinks. We were heartbroken the food had no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. Our group ordered different items to sample. Raw fries, unseasoned meats (hello? Salt, pepper, onion, garlic?) this place has potential if the owner would use better quality food like he does drinks at the bar. #epicfail

My boyfriend and I stopped here after visiting the casino since we were on a weekend away from the kids and had heard it was good. I'm honestly really sorry we stopped. When we walked in the hostess was short and rude. We just wanted dessert and a drink and she acted like we put her out. Then she sat us. And we waited and waited. I saw a waitress in the bar area laugh with patrons and even slap one on the butt but she never came, then another one came around offering us free shots and after our 20 minute wait I was really upset that they had employees who could just walk around passing out shots and not wait on us so I asked to speak to the manager.... The manager came out, a relatively nice lady she made sure to take care of our order and then she disappeared around bill time. She did not attempt to offset our bill at all. I clearly wouldn't expect her to pay for the whole thing but she didn't buy us a round... She didn't offer a discount... Or even a coupon on our never visit. So fine.... We will pay the bill.... After almost another 20 minute wait trying to get someone to get the check I took it to the bar and lost it again. The poor bartender never saw it coming but the guy behind the bar handled it well. An off duty waitress listened to me go off.... Again... And apologized and was super sweet... I wish I had had her. Honestly... The off duty waitress was the only saving Grace... I wish I had her name.... Otherwise I am angry that I stopped at this place. I had an amazing weekend away from my world with my boyfriend only to have it end at this place. Back to NY in the morning. I will never recommend this place... Or be back again. If you want to send me a message I can tell you all the amazing places we did visit... Trust me... There are better options!

They don't brew beer. The Pocono Brewing Company does not brew beer. You go to the Poconos, you see a place called the Pocono Brewing Company, you sit down, and you realize all they brew is coffee. Bullshit.

There are a lot of beers to choose from here, but how can you not go for the in house brew flight for your first time? Most of the beers were alright (pilseners never do it for me) but their seasonal stuff was the best in my opinion. Next time I think I will mix and match between my favorite in house brews and my favorite standards. Thumbs up for the burgers. It is exactly what I would want at a brewery and I was not disappointed. My mom got a salad. Why? I do not know. She ordered something with peaches in it. They looked a little wonky, but probably because they grilled them first, at least I hope so. Either way, do not get salad hear. Eat burger. Burger good. Like beer. Beer and Burger. End.

Appearance/Service: Hostess was pleasant, as was the waitress. Waitress was not very attentive. Huge, several rooms, great-looking deck out back Our table was sticky- not that it was something in particular that had spilled on it. It just seemed like filth had built up over time. Food/Drinks: Home brews were $7 a piece - IPA was decent, so was the seasonal (definitely overpriced). Only 3 home brews on menu. Fairly large selection of other beers. French onion soup - disintegrated bread, few onions, cheese also disintegrated, excessive pools of oil on top of soup Pig wings - tasty Boneless wings - good, but 7 of them for just under $10. They have an all you can eat (regular chicken) wings deal ($8 I believe) with the purchase of a drink, but I didn't want many. All in all, certainly not worth it for a $40+ meal.

Went there for Wing Night. Service was extremely poor and then found out it was the first day on the job for our server. Overall the wings were good. I recommend trying the Twix flavor, it's surprisingly good. It's a bar so the place gets loud.

this place flat out sucks. First off, how do you own an establishment with,"Brewing Company" in the name...that doesn't brew their own beer?!?! Perhaps ironically, their beer selection sucks and all of it is overpriced, including the domestics. Their pathetic little game room's crown jewel is a piece of junk pool table. The worst part of my lone experience at this place was putting a dollar in for the pool table and picking up a stick only to realize that their sad little collection of pool sticks are plastic. Yes, you read correctly, hollow, plastic pieces of junk of such low quality I would be apprehensive to even let kids play with them. What a joke. I am no pool shark by any means but to expect to play a decent game with what felt like a large cheap pen is just ludicrous. The bartender at the outside bar was slow and pretty rude. I was only there once, but have never heard anything particularly good about it and there is no reason whatsoever that I would consider going back.

We were staying at a local lodge and came here for something different. As a family of 4 with 2 young children, we were seated in the back where there was a poker tournament going on. Hubby wanted to check this out thinking it was a true brewery. Turns out they don't brew their own beer. Service was incredibly slow. We were there for over an hour just waiting for food. Server seemed to be non-existent entire time. Drink order came out wrong. Wings were decent. Turkey burger was good. Kids pizza tasted weird and slightly burnt. Overall, a disappointment.

Randomly stumbled upon this spot on our way back to NYC from the Finger Lakes region. What a great spot! Not only do they have craft beer but they also have a Yelp discount if you check-in. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were greeted and sat immediately. The space near the bar is a bit weird. It felt slightly industrial, and not in a good way, but the service was friendly and the food was fine. Overall, we considered ourselves very fortunate to have stumbled upon this joint.

This place is not worth it. I have never encountered such dumb bartenders in my life. I asked for "Razzmatazz" (the cheap DeKuyper version of Chambord) and the actual bartender looked at me like I was a 5 headed alien. I also had this same issue when I ate at a table, so I learned to just ask for Chambord, so they can charge me a premium. No one here can make a decent drink. Everything here... Food and drink IS OVERPRICED!! There is/used to be some scumbag, rude as hell bouncer type guy near the door. For a male to make threats to a female and FALSELY ACCUSE ME of having a skeptical ID is just blatantly unacceptable. Just because this pea brained Neanderthal never saw a passport vs PA ID, doesn't mean it's fake, moron! I'm pretty sure the dickhead bouncer moonlights as a cop... Or vice versa and has SERIOUS WOMEN hating issues. For real, considering I was 'threatened' for talking back to the thin-skinned misogynistic bouncer. The female waitresses I've gotten have been ditzy, kinda lazy/lax and generally didn't care to do their jobs. One specific time this girl had NO short term recall memory, and had to keep asking and reconfirming our orders 2&3 times. (Like was it a 16 or 23 oz? What beer again? Giggle, giggle... Except it wasn't cute...) Another time we (me andy bf) had a GREAT male waiter all night long.... Until it came time for the check. The kid took like 20 minutes to come back with change and, OF COURSE, decided to be brazen and leave no small bills, because, I'm guessing he thought he deserved a bigger tip or was trying to name his own tip (A PERSONAL PET PEEVE OF MINE). The bf left a $20, which was a serious overtip, but we wnted to leave and that kid disappeared permanently after dropping off the change. We weren't gonna get a broken bill and wait another 20 minutes. So even the "good" waiters have shady, unethical, manipulative practices at this place. Years ago this place was better. I have a picture of me kissing my free birthday lobster... A perk the new owners got rid of. I also heard they no longer brew on site anymore due to new management. This place isn't 'clean' either & the booths tv's are annoying & always seem to be on BET.WTF? Just stay away!!! Do any other place but this.

I really like the wings here. One problem with this place however is the slow service and lack of knowledge of product especially the brews on tap. This place keeps changing ownership so I think this is holding the place back from being well established. Despite this I will probably go again. Try the wings.

  • Ralph M.

Wings were pretty top if the line. The venue is huge, there is a stage in the back you wouldn't see at first sight. If you sit at a booth, you get your own t.v. Pretty cool. The waiters themselves are a little slow , but awesome. Gave me the controller to the back five t.v.s. Needless to say I was running the place. The wing sauces were creative. Honey mustard and a lager based sauce we're my two favorites. I inhaled a blooming onion. As far as gaming goes. You name it, they got it. Even hoop shoot. But you know the regulars pool ping pong foosball etc. even skeeball. I will be a repeat customer for sure. Thanks p.b.c. P.s. The hostesses were smokeshows, and good at there job. Double plus.

I visited PBC last Friday. It seemed to be slow, I was there from 8 till about 915. The place looks great but it was pretty empty. I got a Turkey burger and thought it was very good, my girlfriend also enjoyed her food, the fries were Great (even if they don't come with your burger) They also have a special mayo you should try. I thought the beer prices were high for a draft beer. I got the Sugar Daddy Lager an I was told it was like Coors Light with flavor...that about all it was. It was also $7 which I thought was absurd. Those are concert or sports game prices. My girlfriend also got a blue moon or a cider (I can't remember) I just remember it was $7 as well. I would go back but I wouldn't buy beer.

This place is under new ownership since the end of 2014 and he did a great with the place. The menu is great, the Signature Spud-chos was great. We decided to have some appetisers... The Rattlesnake bites were wonderful! The Blooming onion was very large and held the batter well. The service was also great. The waitstaff was attentive, the food came out quick. It would have been good to have a plain burger on the menu but there were lots of other choices. I am looking forward to my next trip.....

Stopped here with some buddies on a weekend adventure and was really pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. They obliged my out-of-towner request of turning a veggie burger into a specialty burger and their alcoholic milk-shakes were insanely well-crafted. I'd go back just for those booze-shakes alone, honestly. Our order took a little long to come out but we were a big group so I can't fault them too much. The wait staff was good and to be honest, pretty sexy. The club we hit later was a big disappointment after some of those hostesses / servers. I could do without the tacky drink-name shirts they're forced to wear though. A sad fate for such pretty young lasses...mmm...what was this review about again? Oh yeah all of the appetizers and fries were really good too - and all reasonably priced. I would check it out. It definitely doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a great joint - especially in the Poconos where every building is a potential tourist trap.

My husband and I decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt despite all of the bad reviews. We're not picky people and we tend to look at things on the brighter side. Being that the word "brewery" is in their name, they do NOT brew their own beer. So when my husband wanted to order a beer sampler, our waiter informed us that they were out of more than half of the beers on the menu. So that went out of the window since they didn't have many options to begin with. It was a taco night so naturally, we ordered tacos and (some wings). The tacos were okay. My husband did enjoy the wings. Our waiter was pretty unprofessional, clumsy, and forgetful. This place has a good curb appeal and a good potential. We will not be coming back here nor would we recommend this place to our friends.

I came up here with a group to run a nearby race, and we stopped here for a meal the night before. I'm a sucker for outdoor seating, and this place had a big patio where me and my 8 friends sat comfortably. There was kind of a rustic feel inside (note: I'm from Philly. Anything north of the Turnpike seems rustic). They had expansive seating along with a stage and game area. It looked like it would be a good place for large groups. The menu was priced about 10% higher than I'd anticipated by the looks of the place. There was a 20% off yelp check-in offer, so all good. I got a mix of wings and "pork wings". Both were really saucy, but they tasted good. They have a decent selection of beer, but despite the name, it didn't seem like they were brewing their own stuff. Our waiter handled the large group with ease. All and all, it was a good time.

Let me start off by saying that I use Yelp often, to point me in the right direction if you will. This time, I should have listened and let it steer me away from this joint. I've never posted a review simply because I usually don't make the time. PBC was so bad and dirty, I was compelled to warn you. Yeah, you reading this! All these yelpers are not wrong. We were seated and given menus. The menus were plastic coated one pagers that were adorned with dried up ketchup and wing sauce. Second, at 2 in the afternoon if the floor was that dirty I cannot imagine what it looks like by dinner. We were near the windows and it was apparent that a rag with pine sol or windex had not touched them in the last few years. All me and my family could think is that Robert Irvine from Restaurant Impossible would have a field day with this place. I tried to stay open minded. That ended when the drinks came. Three of the four glasses were really dirty. By dirty I don't mean some water spots. My daughters had a lipstick mark. Hint: she wasn't wearing lipstick. I sent them back. Onto the food. It didn't get any better folks. My kids ordered the loaded potato cheese soup. There was one potato wedge in each bowl. For $4.95 I wouldn't consider it a value and it was watery not thick like a normal soup of that sort. The husband and I got the all you can eat wings for $7.95. They were not horrible but most places known for wings don't spoon the sauce haphazardly onto the wings while they are in the basket. They just don't. And FYI if you make the mistake of letting your celery or bleu cheese go back in the first basket it's .50 cents each to replace them. The waitress was nice enough when we saw her. The place wasn't packed so I don't excuse her for being slow. I should have listened to the Yelpers. I will never go back there again. I've been to clean dive bars with great food. The PBC represents itself as some upscale brewery and it isn't.

Beers were good but they might want to get beer menus at the bar it's kinda hard to read the beer menu on the screens from the bar. Avoid the food it's on a par with MacDonalds Bartender was efficient.

Skip it- Food is mediocre and the service is terrible. It was recently closed and they changed hands and i thought they would have had it under control by now but, STAY AWAY! More than a few tables we were sitting near just got up and left due to poor or lack of service. Our food wasn't that great. I had the pitbull- supposed to be an open faced brisket sandwich with cheese and gravy. Absolutely terrible- covered in so much cheezwiz it was absolutely inedible. No wonder why they call it pitbull- it's equivalent to dog food. 20 minutes to get the check and pay. Trust me, just keep driving. It's sad since we went here once a year after snowtubing and always had a great time. Party of 13 today - not one will be returning.

I love this place, I been coming to the Poconos for 5 yrs and have always meant to stop here and last Saturday I finally had the chance. Everyone that worked there was very nice and friendly. I was with two friends and we decided to have a few appetizers instead of getting entrees. We had the cream of potato soup, chicken nachos, buffalo wings, french fries and onion rings combo. Everything was really delicious and the potions were huge, we couldn't finish all of the food. The best part for me was the alcoholic milkshakes that they have. I had the Markers Mark milkshake and it was out of this world. Pocono Brewery Company will be one of my stops from now on

Place still is bad. Worst dive bar in the area. Was here a few years ago and should have stayed away but friends wanted to come. We all had 1 drink and left. Could not get by all the bad smells, I think from their carpets or something. The place needs renovating or something. Service very poor. I think the owners don't really care. Stay away if I were you.

Came her K-pinned out on sunday to enjoy some football in the great ol' 'Nos. First off I love the Poconos. One of the most serene places in the norteast and a nice peaceful getaway from the hobos and urine scented streets of Manhattan from which I hail. We sat in the back room with a ton of tv's and the waiter let us change the channels to whatever games we wanted. AKA they have sunday ticket which is a HUGE plus. I would come here every sunday to watch football if I could. All you can eat wings for $8 on a sunday with a ton of flavors (golden bbq or honey bbq is amazing bt dubs). Are you effin kiddin me with that deal? Bloomin onion was good although every aussie knows that nothing touches the gold standard that is Outback's Bloomin' O. Service was slow but who gives rat's behind its the poconos do you really think the people there are in a rush to do anything? The kind of life I could consider after I faint from working 80 hour weeks next year. Of course iff youre gonna start a life out in the 'Nos you better have a girl to keep you company and some friends to kick it with after 6 hour work days. (a dream that just seems unattainable good luck convincing a girl to start a life in the Poconos with you). Some people are just not as sophisticated as myself. Great food 5 star experience once again would watch football here every sunday if I could

After picking up my gambling wife from Mount Airy we decided to stop at the PBC for an early dinner. They were pretty empty and we were seated as soon as we walked in. The place is huge anyway. Our server was very responsive to our needs and checked on us several times to make sure everything was fine. I ordered a turkey burger which was pretty good. I thought the roll was a little dry though. As others mentioned the burgers do not include any sides. They have a large selection of options which are extra and large enough to be shared at your table. The pricing was not awful especially since my wife was pissing away the cost of a burger with every pull of the slot machine 20 minutes earlier. They have arcade games and pinball machines around which my kid enjoyed. He also loved the little TV in our booth which kept his attention during dinner.

I'm sure they have great beer but as far as the food, don't bother stopping. I really wanted this place to be good. Have driven by it several times as we vacation in Poconos often. Appetizers were stone cold and processed food. Service was slow but the root of the matter is the food. Ordered prime rib med rare, came out med well. When I sent it back the waiter retuned telling me the kitchen knows it was med rare and if I want another one it will be the same. This place deserves the 1-2 star rating it gets. The owner of this establishment has obviously given up, from afar you can see the issues here.

My wife and I had dinner here this past weekend and we're disappointed. I had a bison burger and found it to be just ok. Sam for my wife's steak salad, just ok. Add the dirty floor, generally run down setting, and slow service, and it adds up to a place it can't recommend to friends. I asked our waitress about their brews, and she explained that she doesn't really drink beer. Not a helpful reply from a waitress at a BREWERY. I tried one of their stronger brews and found it metallic and warm, very unpleasant. This place seems overpriced for pub fare served slowly in a sloppy, noisy setting. There are MUCH better choices on the area.

Seriously understaffed on a Friday night. If you have 2.5 hours to spend having dinner, this is the place. Pulled pork dish was great, the bull roast sandwich left much to be desired. French onion soup was hovering around 8000mg of sodium. Mediocre at best.

Where can you go and get top quality food, the most amazing selection of craft beers and specialty drinks around AND have an amazing venue to enjoy for great bands and cool events all under one roof! I love to hang out here. I order the Mazzella family salad every time or the Bella Donna. The salad reminds me of the antipasto salad my italian grandmother used to make. Delicious!! Bella Donna is shrimp and scallops with chopped clams over rice or pasta. So tasty!! Most importantly this place is super CLEAN and is already becoming the place to be!

We always frequented PBC for their wing and beer specials along with NFL Sunday ticket during football season. Today we went for the first time since the ownership has changed and although the food is still good and there's still Sunday ticket, nothing else was that great. We asked about wing and beer specials and were told that we could get the bucket special with a bucket of wings, fries and four domestic bottles and it was a great deal! But it wasn't available to us because we weren't sitting at the bar. There were no specials available to those sitting at tables and no seats at the bar so they basically told us we were out of luck. The service wasn't that great either. Our waitress walked by us good four times before stopping to tell us she would be right back and we had to hunt her down to get our check because we were in a hurry to get to a different bar before half time was over. Long story short, I'm writing this review from Burke's Tavern a bar just three minutes up the road, sitting somewhere other than their bar enjoying a beer special and I probably won't be back to PBC.

We stopped here on our way back home to Philadelphia. We are new homeowners in the poconos and are trying to check out a few places to recommend to our guests. Over all the food was just barely okay. The problem in the service, there is no service. We had to wait awhile for the waitress to even acknowledge us. Then wait longer to order. We had the buffalo wings that were alright, nothing special. The best thing was the salad that comes with entrees, it had fresh greens and the dressing was good. The skirt steak with pasta was decently cooked steak over a huge mushy mess of pasta. The past bolognese was mush too. Our friend ordered the pulled pork platter that was super sweet blob of pork and served with a tiny piece of corn bread. It was just a strange platter, I gave him my bread from the pasta so he had something to put the pork on. This place was closed for awhile and just recently reopened and maybe it needs to work out a few kinks but I wont be rushing back.

I come to the Poconos often, for as long as I can remember and always seem to make it a point to stop here one night out of the week/weekend. I LOVE their wings, the dantes inferno is the best that I've tasted, definitely hot but not stupidly hot, has a great flavor. The beer selection is pretty big but have come across them being out of a few beers on the menu a few times. The bar area gets a little cramped but is a nice bar, lots of tvs. A few of the booths in the bar area have their own tvs. If youre looking for something to do in the poconos one evening I would suggest coming here for a bite to eat and a beer definetly one of the better bars in the area.

What a huge disappointment. From the street it looked like a cool place. I did a U-turn to go there. We had bad service, plain food and I was shocked that it was $30 for a hamburger, taco salad and two drinks. Service was slow and disinterested. Don't go here

Once again the waitstaff and bartenders is the only reason this place got any stars ... they're funny and always super friendly. Food is just getting worse and worse .... First when we entered the wait was 20 minutes but the place was not even that busy, so we decided to just eat at the bar. My friend and I ordered the sampler appetizer and were immediately told that they were out of southwestern egg rolls and had to substitute with something else. We asked for some calamari to be a part of it but that couldn't happen because the calamari comes pre packaged. We asked for some shrimp couldn't have that either. We just settled on extra mozzarella sticks in the order. Our appetizer took forever and when it came out everything on the plate was nearly black almost like they cooked it in dirty grease. I tried a mozzarella stick and it was burnt horribly. We told the waitress and she took it back and asked if we wanted them to make everything again so we said YES. She comes back and tell us that they won't be able to re make it because their fryer broke (this is a bar most of the food on the menu is fried .... and it's 7pm?!). So she said they were able to make mozzarella sticks .... so we took that. They came out okay nothing spectacular and I'm assuming they probably microwaved them. UGH YAY! For our meal I ordered boneless buffalo wings and a side of mashed potatoes ( I asked her if they could make the mashed potatoes loaded and she said she would ask the cook). My friend ordered a burger, my food came out way before hers. It was cold already though and of course I wanted to wait for hers to come out before I started eating mine so by the time that happened my food was freezing! My mashed potatoes were freezing and gross and my boneless wings were more like chicken nuggets drizzled in hot sauce ... the best part I guess the cooks idea of loaded mashed potatoes was to put cheese wiz in a little plastic container on the side for me. My girlfriends burger was not good either! We should have stopped at this however my husband wanted me to bring him nachos home so I ordered those and was told they're out of big to go boxes! They found them couple minutes later and were able to make them .... Not sure what possessed me to get more food but he wanted them ! The chips of course were stale the beans were gross .... just not good at all. OKAY so overall not a good experience at all ... however I do want to emphasize on the level of service the bartender was giving she did an amazing job trying to please customers and I felt extremely bad for her since she was only the messenger. She definitely did an outstanding job in not so many easy situations! Service is nice and friendly as always .... KITCHEN NEEDS HELP!

Reading the poor reviews on the car ride over made me more than a little nervous about enjoying a dinner with 8 friends the other night. Fortunately, we all had a pleasant dinner and enjoyed our food. The menu is very simple. Selection of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and a small handful of platters. After going back and forth, I decided on a crab cake sandwich over the buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap called out to me because it added fresh mozz along with the usual suspects of buffalo chicken sandwiches. Two others had it and thought it was great. I forgot to ask, but the wrap looked like it had been thrown on the grill too. Unfortunately, the crab cake was not so good. It was actually really huge, lots of patty and lots of bread. However, half of the crabcake was breadcrumb filler. Bummer because you really don't get the crab flavor you're looking for when there's a lot of filler. This was really the only downside to the meal though. I also sampled the pork wings - this is a must get here! It's basically a huge slab of pork on the bone, deep fried and tossed in your choice of sauce just like a chicken wing. Really meaty and tender. The last thing I tried was the caesar salad. Nothing surprising here in flavor, but the salad was HUGE for five dollars. Seriously, four of us could have split it. But ask for light dressing unless you like your salad drenched. Our server was very nice. Especially considering our large party. He was very polite and got everything we needed quickly. I'm guessing he would have been like this any time, but I'm sure it didn't help that the place was DEAD, except for the outdoor bar. And we went at 8 on a summer Friday evening? The biggest reason this place loses stars is in the pricing. I'm not familiar with the area and am not sure how it compares, but most items were very expensive for what they were. All sandwiches were about 11 bucks. 11 bucks a wrap is a little insane to me, especially when you consider they don't come with chips or fries or anything! Everything was good, but not double digit good just for a sandwich. Luckily, when we checked in on Yelp, they were offering a 20% off deal! Now that was pretty sweet.

Bartender was very pleasant and attentive. I got wings and my friend order their steak queso. Food wasn't as good as I hoped. Wings taste like the oil they fried them in wasnt change in awhile and the steak queso was a cheap meat that was under seasoned. If it wasn't for the bartender we would of walked out. Next time we will eat before we go.

atmosphere is laid back, but if you're looking for good food, this is not the place. Burnt hamburger, fries not included, $10. Add a side of fries for $4.00 . My husbands beer was $10. I ordered fajitas and received bland chopped chicken sizzling with onions & peppers with no seasonings on it at all. It was actually gross. My son couldn't eat the charred $10 hamburger. Won't go back...

I was so dazzled by the house porter, and smitten with the Lager BBQ wings, that I will now have to return to try every other variety of wings in their stable. Oh, and the beer too. I was well fed, well drunk and well taken care of by barkeep Maria.

After spending the day at the gun range, we were ravenously hungry. Being disappointed by the closed BBQ joint, we finally settled on this restaurant as we drove around looking for food. This place is huge, with pool tables, video games, and arcade games spread around the restaurant. When we came in during the awkward lunch/dinner time the place was nearly empty. I ordered the special of the day which was meatloaf and the gf ordered chicken fajitas. The meatloaf was excellent, yes I understand the special is basically anything that's about to expire goes in so inside I found eggs, carrots, broccoli, and believe it or not, some pickle. However, the seasoning on this thing was fantastic, never mind the portion was so large I could not even finish it. The gf's fajitas however were god awful. They brought out the fajita mix on a cast iron skillet with the veggies sizzling away and the chicken PIPING STEAM. I knew that was a bad sign as the only explanation for the chicken to be reacting like that is because it was microwaved. And microwaved they were, they had literally cooked the veggies on the skillet, microwaved the chicken (with faux grill marks) and dumped the chicken on top of the skillet before dishing it out to us. Seriously, who microwaves chicken? If you don't have enough volume to keep fresh product around for the dish, maybe that should tell you something? Like take it off the menu perhaps? Maybe they don't sell that much of it because the fajitas tasted like absolutely nothing! Not one ounce of seasoning what so ever. Service from the kitchen was slow and the waitstaff was pretty terrible. Never refilled my glass, only checked up on us once, and was later no where to be seen until we had to track him down to pay our bill. Keep in mind, the restaurant was hardly busy and there were plenty of staff standing around.....

14 of us had gone on a Thursday for all you can eat wings for $7.95...we get there at 6:30 and they're already out of those wings...and there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. All of us ordered at 7, those who ordered regular wings got their food at 8, those who ordered sandwiches got their food at 8:30. All the wings were served cold. We spoke to the manager who said he'd look into it and he never returned, he did take 2 orders of wings and a burger that was completely wrong off the bill, we would've been fine with an apology but he had never even come back to the table. Although my sandwich was ok, it wasn't worth waiting 1 1/2 hrs for. Our server had no fault in this whatsoever...we feel it was the kitchen staff.

Do not eat here! They don't care about customers. I ordered a prime rib medium rare and my friend ordered medium. Mine came out more well done than his and I asked waitress for another one. She said it was the lighting and did not get another until I refused to eat it. The second one took more than 15 min to come out and it was more well done than the first. Joe the manager came out and said that in PA they cannot prepare meat that is red or has blood. Really? He did not comp me until I refused to eat it. They did not prepare another and charged us full gratuity. I'm telling everyone not to eat here!

The food here is decent, nothing special, just average American pub style food. Pulled pork sandwich was mediocre and covered in melted cheddar cheese, yuck. Wing bites were crispy but clearly frozen from a bag and not hand breaded. Beer selection is good and their in house brews are worth trying. I'm likely to stop in again since it's close to my place of employment, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. As a side note, this is also Poconuts Comedy Club. I saw Jim Norton here and thought the venue wasn't bad at all. They have a stage and set up long banquet style tables all facing the stage. Good lighting and a very intimate feel with the comedian. Really brings the audience into the act. Waiter service lasts throughout the show for food and beverages. Get there early if you want to sit in front as there's no reserved seating.

Nothing really that special. Have stopped here on the random open mic night and was entertained by some funny locals and had a couple home brews that were tasty. Only thing that popped out to me was my eyes once I seen the bill. $10 for the tall boy of the craft beer is quite the shocker and also $7 for the cider....WOW. The food is good, down side no side of fries with the normal reuben that costs too much not to have them. Might stp by on a good night at the Mt. Airy but not going out of my way.

My wife is from the Poconos and we've been by this place at least 100 times. We finally stopped in. It was only for a couple of beers, but I've been wanting to get to this place for a while. To start, it's incredibly cool looking from the outside. It's got a pretty cool log cabin type of look to it. Perfect for the Poconos. We went in and it's a really cool place. There are a bunch of different dining areas, a bar, a gameroom and their comedy club section. I'd definitely come back to see a comic here - I was impressed by how big the stage was/room was. It sounds like there's a lot going on here, but it actually blends in very well. We grabbed a couple of stools at the bar. They've got a good beer selection - at least 20 or so on tap. I had a couple of Yuenglings - less than $3 a beer - I love drinking in PA. They also had a Photo Hunt at the bar which is cool because we really like playing that game. Check out who is in 9th place now - oh yeah. Here's why I'm really liking this place - The Gameroom. Here's a list of things that were in the game room: - Pool Tables - Shuffleboard Table - I'm a huge fan of playing Shuffleboard at a bar - Ping Pong/Beer Pong Table - the net was up, but I've got to imagine this table has seen its share of beer pong games. If they do have beer pong here, I like this place even more. - Skeeball - this game was actually just outside the room but I seriously can't even remember the last time I've seen a skeeball game. I could easily spend hours drinking with my buddies in a place like this. I couldn't believe how cool the gameroom was. I'm definitely going to try to get back to this place.

My unit and I stopped in on the way back from a weekend in the Poconos (MLK/Inauguration day). This was a holiday, during the early afternoon, long before I would expect there to be rush at the restaurant, so I'm intentionally going to just focus on the food and some things to know before you go. As you would've guessed, we were seated quickly and our service from start to finish was excellent (fast). I ordered the Santa Fe burger with sweet potato fries. Both items were excellent. Most establishments cut their sweet potato fries thinly and over cook them. It was the opposite here. The toppings on the burger (guacamole etc.) made the burger. Here's the curious thing though: They had this deal where you could get a quart of beer for the price of a pint. When I looked at the itemization on our bill I noticed that I paid $0.25 cents less for my beer than I did for the lemonade I started out with. I was not mad at that. Side note: Their selection of beer is GREAT (...Brooklyn Lager to Ithaca Apricot etc). If you like beer, you can't go wrong here. The venue itself looks like it was made to be a really large sports bar. There are TV screens everywhere. If you get seated at a table with its own dedicated screen, you'll note that the channels can be changed to whatever you'd like to watch. Such a simple yet genius idea for a Restaurant/Bar trying to accommodate any and all sports fans. Know Before You Go: 1) We were seated by the window towards the front of the venue. With the restaurant being so empty, we noticed it was a little chilly over there. 2) The aforementioned beer deal gets cut off at happy hour. So if you and your unit want to roll, it might not be a bad idea to get there early to take advantage of that Quart-for-Pint price.

We stopped in here while looking for some place for a quick bite our first night. The front desk reception was just so-so. We stood around a few minutes before the ample number of hostesses noticed us. We were seated in a bar right by the games, as it was quite it was a great spot, on a busy night I imagine that booth gets loud. There are TVs in every booth, which was pretty cool especially if you're there for a sporting event. The whole back of the menu is a craft beer list, which is a nice experience. We got Chocolate Stout and Cherry Wheat, a concoction I discovered at another bar but at PBC they call it a chocolate covered cherry. Mike our waiter was greater, friendly and upbeat, helpfully suggesting wing sauces and explaining "pig wings" (wait...Ill get there). We ordered some hot wings and then some wings & pig wings with a tangy carolina sauce. The sauces were both excellent. The pig wings made me want to eat until I burst. They are a big piece of the most moist and succulent pork wrapped around a bone a cooked what I would call rib style. Delicious. Extraordinary. So Good. We also had fries and onion rings (average) and garlic Parmesan corn on the cob. The corn was great flavor wise but the piece was small and it should have been hotter. If you go don't skip the "adult" shakes. We had an espresso one with chocolate ice cream kahlua and bailys...yummy. We would return for a feast of pig wings.

"If you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all." In this case I will have to opt to make an exception...If I can save you from the bad things you will have to say after experiencing the tragedy that is the Pocono Brewing Company. After being seated at a wobbly table, surrounded by dirty tables waiting to be cleared and a floor littered with crumbs, dirty napkins and more, our drink orders were taken. That was the beginning of the end. After our drinks were delivered, our waitress promptly left without taking our meal order. When 15 minutes had passed we finally asked the hostess if we could place an order, since our waitress was nowhere to be found. She rudely responded and sulked off to find our waitress. Our waitress soon returned to take our order, explaining that it was "crazy in the back". 35 minutes and our empty glasses later, we still never received our food or saw our waitress again. We approached the hostess to let her know we no longer wanted our food and asked if we could just pay for our drinks. She stared blankly at us, while telling us she had no idea how much anything cost and pointed us towards the bartender to ask.

This is one of those places that doesn't know what it is. They think they're a restaurant with a bar. Nope. They are most definitely a bar that has a restaurant attached to them. For starters, I am not a fan of the restaurant. I'd avoid anything but basics like burgers or the cheese steak. Can't rely on them for a lunch; sometimes it's fine, but often they are way too slow for a lunch. As some other reviewers have mentioned, some time back the food took a turn for the worse and I'm not sure why. But it did. The bar, however, is ok. Many times I've been there for happy hour and had a good time, good service, friendly servers, and a pretty good selection of beers(bottles and draft). Especially nice is when they have the deck open. Maybe I like it best when the deck is open because it fixes what is the biggest problem with the bar; it's often overcrowded. There just isn't enough room around the inside bar and if more than 25 people show up people are squeezed tightly in around it. Like, sardines in a can, elbows to elbows, and waiting six or seven minutes to get from one side to the other because of the press of humanity. It has an interesting crowd, too. Lots of professionals from Sanofi-Pasteur, teachers from the local schools, military personal from the Depot, locals, and a healthy dose of the NASCAR crowd...an eclectic group. So they get 3 stars. I wouldn't really be going there for dinner, unless I was hanging out with some friends and having some drinks. As a bar they'd probably get 4 stars, but it is just too crowded too often.

Things started out well enough - the Hostess greeted me politely. From there on it was down hill. I sat at the bar (along with ONE other person) and waited for the bar tender. Now, this was a Sunday afternoon, so I'm sure they don't put the sharpest people on but this was just silly. I asked what was on the Victory Brewing tap (you know, the one with the BIG RED "V") and I might have well asked her to explain the roots of the universe in mathematical terms. After much wrangling she figured out my complex question and poured me a Hop Devil. I ordered the "Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich" for $8. My order came quickly and I got exactly what I ordered: A pulled pork sandwich. On a plate. With nothing else. For eight bucks would it kill you to throw some fries or potato chips on the plate? Maybe a pickle?? Something? Sign of a cheapskate manager, right there. The sandwich was okay at best. It seemed like it was good pork but it was smothered in sticky-sweet sauce that obviously came from a big jug. It at least had decent cole slaw on it. But all the Carolina BBQ I'm used to having does NOT have gloppy sauce on it. It's vinegar based and spicy. But that's nit picking. The sauce was really too sweet and overpowered the rest of the sandwich. Sure with I had something salty to go with it... like some chips. The bar tender took my plate, I said "All Set" which she interpreted as I was going to sit there for the rest of the afternoon so she vanished. I finally flagged her down and got the check, and she disappeared again - there are 2 people at the bar, how hard is this?? I needed change to make a tip (albeit a moderate one) and she was gone... did she go home? Get abducted by aliens? I'll never know. I scrounged together a few bucks and left it on the bar. The shame is that she'll probably have no clue as to why she got a poor tip. Will not go back to experience that sort of service again. There has to be better in the area.

Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday afternoon with the 3 kids in tow. Average service if you don't mind the waitress placing her fingers over the top of your beverage where your mouth makes contact with the glass. All three kid meals were uneatable. Each ordered a burger which was a thin slice of previously frozen very low quality meat. The kids meals are just under $8.00 which is a bit pricey. The manager was courteous and deducted some of the cost of the meals from the bill and stated that "they have a vendor that provides the kid burger meat" Might want to look for a new vendor or purchase some quality beef and make the burgers on site. Great decor, excellent selection of beer, many on tap. Many better options in the area, like the Pocono Pub.

Food was very good, but the restaurant was short staffed. The staff that was there was very nice and helpful, but they got overwhelmed with the number of customers at lunch. Beer selection is also impressive, but 3 of 5 local beers were not available.

I have been to PBC twice before and each time was left with a less than memorable experience. I am however, posting on behalf of family as they do not have a yelp account. Recently, my family went to PBC for dinner and they had a horrible encounter. The waitstaff and management staff was rude and no one was willing to rectify the situation, only place the blame on the customers (my family). My family was told they ordered their food wrong (really?) and when food WAS brought to the table (correctly...while most was incorrect), it was placed at the other end of the table from the person who wanted it. When they asked where their food was, the server pointed to the other end and said it was there, like they should have known that. My father in law had tried to solve the issue at hand while they were at the venue. However, that didn't happen and they left with a sour taste from PBC. My father in law then tried to follow up via telephone and waited for a return call...no surprise, he didn't hear back. Now, the next step was to make a comment on facebook, which I did. As I logged in this morning, I noticed that I was blocked from their page AND my comment was also deleted. I didn't write anything slanderous, in fact, this is what I wrote: "I find it very unfortunate that my family's poor experience at PBC in the past week will now prevent my friends and other family from spending any amount of money at your venue. The poor service, lack of hospitality and rude staff is something that I think would be a necessity in the world of restaurants and bars in today's world. Regardless, you have lost a handful of customers with the recent poor regard to visitors. I would hope that your employees stop taking tips from Amy's Baking Company." I guess I'm not surprised that Pocono Baking Company....I mean Pocono Brewing Company, has less than par reviews on yelp, especially for service. I honestly would think in the poconos, where there is little to do but enjoy a good drink and some good food, that a venue such as PBC would want to TAKE PRIDE in serving customers IN THEIR AREA so that they come back and spend more money. But alas, this company, with their lack of professionalism, lack of taking criticism, lack of rectifying a poor experience and a lack of hospitality, my family will never be dining here again and we urge others to do the same.

We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge just down the road. In our room there was a book that had adds from local restaurants. Pocono Brewing Co had advertised kids eat free Monday - Thursday. It's was every parent's dream. A place for good beer and free kids food. When we got there and got all settled in, we asked the waitress and she said they don't really do that anymore!!! Kids meals were about $8. Okay we were already there so we stayed. Brews were ok but at $10 a pop it made them that much harder to swallow. Food is nothing special. Boneless wings were horrible, the chicken was so rubbery it was almost crunchy. The hot honey sauce was tasty though. My Ruben was average, not enough sauerkraut but corned beef had a good flavor. Not a place I plan on returning to.

Couple of things: When you are in an area for vacation for just 3 days you want to chose your restaurants carefully. We did not. We went here based on the fact that they have recently added NTN (the trivia game) so off we went. Service was almost up-our-ass for the first 10 minutes. We kept trying to tell her we weren't sure what we wanted that evening so we started with that appetizer platter and two drinks. No idea what drinks cost -- no prices on menu. Bad mistake. Because at the end of a weird night when we got our bill, we did not get the itemized copy. So we can only assume a really bad, small, warmish frozen margareta was about $8 and two craft beers had to have been $8 a piece. Horrors. Then we were very excited to see that every booth had a TV -- an NTN player's dream! Except for more than two hours, we were the only people playing. What a disappointment. Then when we wanted to wrap the evening up, we realized our waitress had literally disappeared. Seriously. We thought maybe she had left for the night. It took 15 minutes until we found her and could get out of there. The biggest reason why the 1 star? When you arrive and request any piece of equipment (the NTN box, a ping pong set, pool stuff, etc) they keep your drivers license. And they make NO attempt to remember to give it back to you, because it is the hostess that takes it, and your waitress is supposed to give it back -- but she doesn't even know you've forked one over. After a couple of drinks you DON'T remember they have it. So they next day we are 100 miles away and realize hubby does not have his license and we must return. We walk in, the girl behind the bar pulls out a STACK of licenses, thumbs though them, hands his back -- all without a word. No apology, nothing. Will not be back. I would love to see a rebuttal from management on any of this.

This place is way overpriced for what it is. First of all, if you're going to charge upwards of $10 for a wrap or a burger it wouldn't kill you to toss a handful of fries on the side. I had their house brewed IPA, which was good...but not $7 worth of good! You can go to Brew Works in Allentown and get a FAR superior pint of beer for $5 or less most of the time. They're out of their mind charging $7 for a glass of beer just because they brewed it. I can not stress this enough...the prices are HORRIBLE. I'm not surprised this place was practically dead on a Sunday when it should have been packed with a football crowd.

Great draught selection, however, good beer equals 5-6 dollar draughts. You can always get Yuengling or Coors lite for 3.00 bucks or so. Bar food average Blackened Chicken Alfredo Pasta great! Also, best Happy Hour in the Poconos. 4-6 Half price apps and 3.00 for one of there many great Micro brew draughts. Also, good looking bartenders dont hurt.

I hate to only give this 3 stars but I am a fan of food and this is quite lacking! The service is slow but when they get to you, the girls are friendly. I must say that it's worth a stop for drinks when it's nice out because their deck is super fun! But don't bother eating here blah!

A group of friends and I came here while staying at the Great Wolf Lodge on a Sunday evening. There was a football game ending by the time we arrived, so the buffet was almost over and so were the crowds. FOOD: nothing impressive. I ordered a medium well steak that looked and tasted like cardboard and was drier than my friend's who ordered a well done steak. I figured they just swapped the orders, so I tried to eat it but I couldnt. Not only was it dry, but it just had a funny old meat taste. It was even hard to cut! The side, which the waitress graciously offered to change from a potato to rice, was dry and cold. I could tell it was from the buffet leftovers. I'm usually the shy patron who doesnt complain but it was not edible, so I had to tell the waitress. I wanted to exchange to quesadillas but they were out of it, so I decided to just eat from my friends' dishes, as the portions were pretty generous. My bf's pizza which he liked, was cold and suuuuuuuuuuper greasy by the time I ate it. I had some of my sister's french onion soup which was good (thank God!). I also tried some ribs which were ok, but also cold. SERVICE: I have to admit that the waitress was very nice, friendly and gracious in spite of my complaints. ATMOSPHERE: pub/sports bar feel, looots of TVs, good if you want to watch a game (I saw some guys even bring a baby to the restaurant, which was a little too weird). the PLUS is the GAME ROOM we walked by when were were almost leaving the restaurant. We actually ended up staying for a few hours playing ping pong, foosball, pool....nice room, cheap prices (first time I used coins to play on a pool table), relaxing... I'd say if you're in the area, go somewhere else for dinner, but come by only for drinks/games...

Great fries. Pig Wings were good. Service a little slow on a slow Thursday night. Have TV at the booths that you can change the channel.

How anyone can give this place anything more than 3 stars is beyond me. I debated whether to go with 1 or 2 stars but after reading a few other reviews I decided on 2 to be fair. In the end it's really just a shame, this place has such potential but whoever is running the show either doesn't know what they are doing or doesn't care, or both. Beer selection seems ok but they are out of a lot of stuff and the prices are horrible. They don't brew any beers on-site and never seem to have 1 or 2 of these "local beers" anyway, what a shame. Food is average but over-priced. The folks that work there seem like local 20-somethings that didn't want to go to college and now have no better options. I know the place looks so promising from the outside, trust me, just choose somewhere else.

This place has really gone down hill. The quality is terrible, especially at the prices they're charging. At one time, this was a fantastic restaurant, but today they serve bad food with bad service. We definitely won't be back.

My husband and I came for dinner before the comedy show last night. I have to say that it was by and far the WORST service I have had in a very long time. We sat for 20 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged us. Then it took 15 minutes to get a beer and an ice tea.. Then our appetizer came out with our meal. If it were not for the fact that we were there to see the show we would have walked ...out after 10 minutes of not being acknowledged. I unfortunately was forewarned before last night based on all of the poor reviews online. I was hoping these incidents were isolated but apparently they were not. If we ever come back for another show we will definitely make sure to eat somewhere else. The food was not worth the wait and was overpriced. Future customers!

We haven't been to the PBC in a few years. In fact, the last time we were there, you could smoke indoors. It seems the place has been renovated and a lot has changed--not for the better. The staff seems disinterested and not as friendly or knowledgeable as they used to be. The menu has changed, the prices have gone way up and the delicious bread and honey-butter they used to bring to the table before the meal is gone. To start, I ordered cream of potato soup that was served in a soggy bread bowl. There was more cheese and fake bacon bits in the soup than potato and it as only lukewarm. Very disappointing for a $6 bowl of soup. I asked for a side house salad and was served an enormous bowl of iceberg lettuce with more heaping shredded cheese, a few sliced pieces of carrot and a sliced hard-boiled egg ($5). My bf had the smokehouse cheeseburger which he enjoyed, but the chips they served it with were soggy...not worth $11. With sodas and tax, our meal was $30 and disappointing at best. It's sad, but we won't be going back to PBC again.

Having worked here (as a bartender) I can tell you that this place is a disgrace!! It is the DIRTIEST restaurant I have ever been in, much less worked in.The kitchen is disgustingly dirty to put it nicely. I'll give you an example: At the end of the night the bartenders are required to put the dirty bar mats that have been walked on and have spilled booze and squashed food on them into the same dishwasher that washes the plates, glasses and silverware that you, the patron, will put your lips on....so BEWARE and go at your own risk. Do you really want to know about the food????

City girl w friends looking for something exciting in a small town. Went for a comedy show on my Bday/Thanksgiving weekend. The local and staff seemed nice. The comedians absolutely sucked! How could you possibly focus on corny penis, jerking off and rape jokes for almost 2 hours!?! Not funny at all. The waitress messed up our order/drinks and kept disappearing on us. No bueno..

A year ago I would have given this place 5 stars. Is there a new owner? A new manager? Because it was the exact opposite. We came back because we had such a great experience last year. Great food, great service. Now it was just really, really bad. Sushi bar is gone, so take it off your web page, PBC! The calamari was like rubber and cold. In fact, most of our meal was cold. My husband's steak was over done. The waitress, when she happened by, did take it off the check. Sorry, PBC. We won't be back again.

I had passed this place like 30 times over the course of the last 5-10 years and always wanted to try it. We normally just go to red robin because its right off the bartonville exit and we like red robin but we decided to be adventurous and try PBC tonight. From the outside I really didnt know what to expect..there was like that patio/bar deal in the back but we wanted to eat and never had been there before so we went into the front to the restaurant part, when you walk in theres an small arcade to the left, i just glanced over and saw some games, didnt look like anything special but that was already a good start for me being the gamer i am. We were seated quickly and had a very polite and cool waiter, he made suggestions because we said we had never dined there before and we choose the cheesesteak and appetizer platter..me being the cheesesteak fan that i am, i am a very tough critic on that particular sandwich and i must say it was really really good..it was not a steak-um kind of meat, it was definitely real steak and it wasnt tough at all..it fell right apart with every bite..fries were decent..we shared the app platter and from what i got to try..it was pretty good..mozzarella sticks were decent, onion rings were ok and were beer batter and tasted like beer, no complaints though..and the southwestern rolls were handmade and really good! i did not get to try the jalapeno poppers but from what i heard they were pretty good too..overall the food and service was really good and i was pleasantly surprised. the air was on full blast and it was a little cold but id much rather be cold than hot especially in a bar..we were seated at a booth in the dining area and every booth has a tv, with cable and you can even choose what channel you would like to watch..thats pretty damn awesome if you ask me! would definitely go back again!

Not bad. Just went in for a couple of drinks while we waited to check in to our hotel. Nibbled at some boneless wings and fries - both were pretty good, standard pub fare. Actually, the ginger/sesame sauce on the wings were pretty tasty. It's a nice looking place, too. I'd like to come back and check out the game room I saw in the back, not to mention sit on the deck out back.

Very disappointed, we waited 20 minutes in a very noisy bar and no one took our order. It was also hot. This is not a place we would visit again.

This place is a big joke. I went here to try out the 25 cent wings, expecting to have an inexpensive meal and a couple of "brews." All of the sudden we realize that these people have a list of "rules of wing night" that has been placed on our table. Apparently you are not allowed to order water on wing night. Also, each wing is 25 cents but if you want bleu cheese it will be $1.00 per person, plus 50 cents for each additional cup. I was also expecting beer to be like $3 or less since it was all 25 cent wing day and everything but apparently the room temperature wings that have been sitting there all day are the only reasonably priced items. very weird atmosphere----
