Was there this past weekend. The meal was superb. I can't say enough good about this place, from top to bottom. Amazing staff, great food.... If you haven't been here, and you visit the Poconos, you owe it to yourself to the best breakfast around.

Sweetest little restaurant to visit and the food is great! My husband and I stumbled upon this place looking for breakfast one morning and fell in love.

We have been there for breakfast and dinner and bother were excellent. Breakfast all came out hot and fresh. Good flavor. Had a sampler with eggs and about 5 different meats - all were excellent - Wow! Kids enjoyed the pancakes. 14 people and everyone raved about their meal. Good coffee. At dinner, the ribs were outstanding - the best I have had in the Poconos. All good and not overpriced. Good for families and larger groups. Yes, it's all served in a pan.

Great breakfast place, the unofficial name is "Ham and Eggs in a Pan" and that's exactly how they serve breakfast, in a separate frying pan for each order.

This is a good spot for lunch. They serve everything in small frying pans which my kids thought was cute. My girls got the chicken fingers and fries. My son went for the mini corn dogs. My wife got the chicken wrap and I got the pulled pork. Apparently, this place is well known for BBQ and sausage/kiebalsa. Close to great wolf lodge.

We stopped here for lunch for the first time, and we were happy we did. Now even though it was close to noon, most everyone was still getting breakfast, which was being served in pans right at the table. It looked like everyone (and the restaurant was full) was enjoying their food. We went ahead and ordered lunch, because of the time of day. I got a cheesesteak steak and my wife got the pulled pork. Both were good, but the pulled pork was amongst the best we have tasted. So much so, on fact, that we made it a point to return the next day, on our trip back home, for more of their pulled pork. Love it!

Good food, massive portions which the husband loves. Cute idea to serve in the pan. It's a local place and has a kitchy feel. Dark wood inside makes it seem like 1979 but it's a local place and has it's own strange charm. Friendly, fresh food. Great for a group or hungry kids.

First of all, the service was excellent. The ambiance was charming. The recommendation from the waiter of the smoked pork slider and brisket was excellent. I will be back next year!

Been here tons of times over the years. Great spot for breakfast. Most recently we were staying in Great Wolf and came out for breakfast. Tons of quality food served in the pan. They are known for their breakfast meats- Corned beef hash and bacon were top notch. Good stuff- family owned. No American express.

Just had breakfast & met the Owner and his Son "John". We will be back again. This was an excellent breakfast, served perfectly in a skillet. I'm giving you guys a 5, because we had a great time and enjoyed a great meal at a very great price! #Excellent Food - Very Fresh! - Great Variety! #Comfortable & Clean #Busy - But the Staff has a good hold on things. Its busy, because the food is great! #Make sure you have the grits, they were the best I had in a while. #Don't be a fool and get the white toast; they make their own Rye Bread & it was fantastic.

This was a regular stop for my family since the '60's when heading up to our mountain house. Back then they kept chickens out back (the hen houses are still there). They had a huge grill and burners right about where the current counter is, they actually cooked your breakfast while you watched (if you sat at the counter) they turned around and put the pan down right in front of you. They're own recipe and privately made smoked sausage had a hint of maple syrup in it and was amazing. I remember they had home fries cooking all morning in a huge cast iron pan that covered 4 burners. Every few mins the guy would flip it, ladle in some bacon fat they were awesome. Now they have been sold a couple times, the big grill/burners are gone and the chickens have long since fled the coop out back. The sausage is just regular packaged smoked sausage with a little too much garlic for breakfast. I stop by about 3 or 4 times a year just for breakfast. Breakfast is still served in the pan but not the one it's cooked in cause the pan is always cool or at best just warm. it's nice, like a good... not great diner breakfast. The one head waitress is still there from the old days and she's great. I like it cause it's a decent breakfast and nostalgic for me... but only a shadow of what it once was. never had the BBQ, or the greek stuff gyro, salads etc... strictly breakfast stuff If i could give 2 1/2 stars i would but its closer to a 3 than a 2.

Went here for breakfast and it was really good. Nice portion sizes and good food. I would give it 3.5 stars, but 4 is fine. I had the biscuits and gravey, which were bland, but the sausage and biscuit was good. Hubs had pancakes, eggs, and breakfast meats and all were delicious. Would go again for breakfast when in the area.

I come out to the Stroudsburg area pretty often since I do a decent amount of shooting out here. And whenever there's a range day, there's always new restaurants to try. Last time I was out here with the girl, we came here for lunch only to be disappointed that they had closed already. Just as a heads up, get here early because by 2:00 PM you'll be looking at locked doors. Upon entering the restaurant, you realize that this place has probably been here for quite some time. It has the charm like you're in a grandmother's house and I'm pretty sure the family's grandmother works here as there was an elderly woman who was cleaning up tables and talking to all the staff. The pricing for the food is reasonable with moderately sized portions. I tried their sampler platter (forget the name) but it was basically a little bit of all their cue. It came with pork loin, brisket, pulled pork, fries, sausage, and some bread. The pork loin was absolutely boring, tasteless, and well at least it made a good sandwich. The brisket wasn't terrible but much drier than I would like, indicating it had been sliced quite some time ago. The stars of the plate however was the pulled pork and the sausage. If I were to come back here again, I'd definitely get the pulled pork. It was loaded with flavor, moist, and oh so good. This isn't the best BBQ I've ever had, but this is Dutch country so what did you expect?

This place was the worst. Only the coffee was ok. All their meats were fatty and overcooked. There are many other places better than this. Go elsewhere is our recommendation.

This place is great. I decided to take the trip here today to check it out. So worth it. Huge portions , but the quality of food was amazing. It was a little pricey but well worth the money. I highly recommend this spot if you are up in the Pocono area. It's only 2 minutes off route 80. Check this place out you will not be disappointed.

  • Vanessa J.

Ate here because we were looking for a place that serves breakfast all day and something that was unique to the Poconos. The breakfast was decent, not too expensive and good portions for the price. Service was just so-so waitress never refilled my coffee or our water. Would go back but not before we tried someplace else.

Best bacon I've had in a long while... The location is full of charm and history having been there for many decades. Omelettes are served in the pan, literally!!! But you also have the option of purchasing a skillet to go. Highly inexpensive for a ton of food. Definitely a great place to go for fresh wholesome breakfast.

The Good: Waitress Excellent Coffee was better than most diners. Not artisan but good. Food came fast. Portion size large The not so Good: Food was just ok. Lacked seasoning. A little pricey. $37.00 for 2 entrees, 2 cups of coffee. Restaurant was dated and a bit dirty for my taste.

I've passed this place many times and finally came in this early afternoon. Amazing BBQ; we tried the brisket and the side of smoked meats. I also had a plain salad no cheese to try to redeem myself since it was New Years day (resolutions... ha) Well worth it food and service wise. Excited to go back and try more. Sausage was amazing (maple?) And got two bread puddings for dessert to go! Yum!

Pigs, pigs, pigs. The restaurant is adorned with tons of pigs. Cute place. Seems like a local's gem of a spot . The restaurant wasn't packed at all which scared me but my husband reassured me it would be good. And it was! Our food was served in a skillet and who doesn't love a skillet! My daughter gobbled up her kids French toast so I guess it was good. I enjoyed the farmers omelette. My husband wanted to go here for the corn beef hash and he wasn't disappointed.

  • Justin M.

Overall very solid breakfast joint. Big menu and big portions at a fair price. The only thing holding back a better rating is service. Despite the place being nearly empty on a sunday morning it wasn't easy to get attention. Went way too long waiting on coffee, water, syrup for our pancakes after they were on the table and a check. Also waitress asked me and others if we want onions OR peppers on our home fries. The reality is they come together which was a problem since I hate peppers. And they overcharged me for the kids item too

Food was amazing!! Breakfast is served in a frying pan and the amount of food is humongous! We will come back here again.

Great breakfast spot. A true country style restaurant. Breakfast is served in skillets and it is a huge portion. I didn't give it 5 stars only because it wasn't as clean as I would have preferred. The floor was very sticky- which would be understandable if they were really busy- but we were there pretty early and there were only a few people in the place.

    (4)
  • Greg B.

Old style, country cooking. Fantastic, delicious breakfast meals in skillets. Eggs were done perfectly and home fries were so good. Home made regular stuff too, like meatloaf and chicken fried steak. Near the casino.

Hello favorite breakfast place on earth! My hubby and I literally made a pact that one day we will drive to the Poconos JUST to come here and have breakfast bc we loved this place so much. Upon entering you are bombarded with a flock of pigs....seriously, like all shapes and sizes! Ok, ok, they aren't real, but still overwhelming. We were promptly sat and brought piping hot coffee to defrost ourselves from the blistering cold of February. Our server was super sweet and helpful in helping me make a decision bc I was seriously overwhelmed with the possiblities. I ordered the special of the day which was chicken fried steak with sausage gravy.....and this will make any vegan come back to the dark side! It was crispy and GINORMOUS; the gravy alone was spectacular, thick and full of sausage bits...I could've just eaten that by the spoonfuls. Get. this. plate. The hubby got a more traditional plate with pancakes, keilbasa and eggs. The kielbasa was amazingggg, perfectly cooked, crisp case and oozing with flavor inside. I contemplated buying a few pounds to go, but then realized we prolly were already doing that since portion sizes here are huge. Absolutely come here when in the Poconos, it will make you feel like you are somewhere in North Carolina instead of PA.

This place is super country-kitschy, super cute, and they serve an awesome breakfast. First off, the decor is so fun. Pigs and knickknacks everywhere! I came with a bigger party, but our food came out surprisingly quickly. I got the Two Pig platter with 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, my choice of meat (smoked sausage), and home fries. The smoked sausage is SO delicious. I wish they gave a little more home fries, but the whole dish itself was pretty filling, especially for how inexpensive it is. The rest of my table gave full approval of this place. The only downside is service. Because so many people end up here, it can be a little difficult to flag down a waitress. We were waiting on silverware even after we got our food (my boyfriend and I had to share a fork and knife for a while).

  • Krissy P.

This restaurant reminded me of an old grandma's dining room who loved pigs. Although the amount of pigs decorating the place was a bit overwhelming at first. Its certainly a nice, quaint family breakfast restuarant. Something that you definitely will not find in NYC. The service is very friendly, fast and accomodating. Everything is served in a pan, which is a cool little novelty. The food was delicious and nice portion sizes! Enough that you may want to take some of it home. I'll definitely be back and if your a fan of breakfast/brunch places this is a fun place to check out!

My husband and I came here for breakfast after a one night stay at the Paradise Stream resort in Mt Pocono. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the food was extremely good. I ordered egg whites, home fries and corn beef hash, and my husband had the egg and sausage platter. The sausages were meaty and cooked to perfection. The portions are huge so make sure to come on an empty stomach. Two people could easily share one meal. The only reason why I did not give this establishment 5 stars is because I found an eyelash in my home fries...

Stumbled upon this restaurant while I was in the area and looking for a place to eat. There aren't too many places that have decent reviews so Hickory Valley Farm was our best option. It's a cute restaurant with ample seating in the front and back, it has a very 'small town diner where everyone knows everyone' feel to it and my group and I all enjoyed our meals. For starters we ordered the fried mac and cheese and it was very delicious. The inside was nice and gooey with cheese and the outside had a nice crisp to it. As an entrée I ordered the double play barbeque special which has two 'sliders': brisket and pulled pork with your choice of chips or fries. I use the term sliders lightly because they were not sliders. These sandwiches were about double the size of a regular slider which made the value of the meal pretty good. Both sandwiches were tasty and I was a big fan of the bread, it wasn't too heavy that all I was eating was the bread. My fiancé enjoyed his country fried steak with home fries and sausage gravy. They give you a lot of their gravy, which is a good thing because it's very good. I ended up dipping some of my fries in his mini vat of gravy because it was that good. The portions here are a decent size, I'd come hungry. Everything is also served in a pan which is a cute and original idea. If I'm back in the area, I'd be willing to give this place another chance, I'll probably order off of their breakfast menu next time. While this wasn't the best meal I've ever had, I think for the area the food, portions, and price are all good.

Was just on a girls getaway weekend and we wanted a great breakfast before we all started on our separate rides back. We found the hickory valley farm restaurant on yelp and after reading the reviews decided we had to go. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The service was fast but not rushed. We all ordered something different and no one was disappointed. The portions were huge and served hot. I had a the feta tomato omelette which was huge and brimming with big chunks of feta. Another girl had two little piggies with eggs to order bacon and delicious French toast. The last had eggs and pancakes and each pan was clean at the end. Each meal is served in a cute metal skillet. If you're visiting make sure you pop in. Great experience and check out the pig decor. Very cute.

We were tired of the same old thing at the Wolf Lodge down the street so we headed out and found this place for breakfast. Excellent food and awesome decor. Made me feel like we were in the south. For the 3 piggies breakfast with French toast. Couldn't finish the home fries. Just so much food. Great stop if your in this area.

Went here on the way home from Kalahari. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Had the corn beef hash and western omelette- left with at least 1/2 my food in a to go container. Went with 2 other families and we have pretty discriminating tastes- something here to please everyone. Food wasn't greasy or oily. When I come back waterparking, we'll come here for breakfast/brunch.

This is a cute little diner, easily accessible from your weekend poconos rental or Mt. Airy. I have a feeling that other dining options in the neighborhood aren't great- so I would recommend breakfast or lunch here. I wasn't blown away by anything in particular, but the prices were fair, service was friendly, and you can't beat it's convenient location. The atmosphere was homey and casual. My friends enjoyed the bbq and the country fried steak, and my boyfriend loved the gravy that came with his pork and biscuits. I sampled the home fries which were good. I got the beef stew which was decent. We had mac and cheese bites for an appetizer and they were pretty good as well. We had a good experience overall and we left happy and satisfied.

After spending some time in the rainy rural area of Poconos for our anniversary we decided to stop here on our last day on vacation for some good old eggs and meat. I read about their trademark food in a skillet thing and thought it was worth checking out. The signs for it are pretty big and it's right on a main road with plenty of parking so a great location. Inside there's a very old school mom and pop breakfast joint vibe. The menu is pretty straightforward with most of it consisting of breakfast grub. I ordered my eggs with hash browns. They can add peppers and onions to any hash browns which I happily agreed to. My fiance got sausage and some french toast. Everything was really good! The waitress was nice, food came out quickly and everything was super cheap. If I'm every back in the Poconos (not anytime in the near future) I'll definitely making a pit stop here.

Top Ten breakfast places I've ever been to Breakfast is my favorite meal and I've eaten breakfast on 4 continents Arbitrarily placing it in the top ten might be lazy but it's all the energy I have right now after that feast

AWESOME breakfast spot! We left with full satisfied bellies. This place has great home style comfort food. Everything is served in a skillet and so flavorful. We both got omelets which came with real potato home fries. Add the onions and peppers and ask for them well done. We also shared an order of pancakes (diet starts tomorrow :)) We got 1 blueberry and 2 plain. These might be the best pancakes I've ever had. I had to talk myself out of ordering some to go! Perfect end to a fun weekend in the poconos!

Pretty good food, but not great. I thought it was kind of pricey to be honest. I am a sucker for eating at old restaurants, this one is nearly 70 years old, that was the draw.

  • Christin S.

My husband and I both got breakfast and were not disappointed. Friendly and fast service also. I would recommend this spot to others visiting the poconos.

OMG! When I say it's too much breakfast, you should be scared. The wife and I went for an overnight at the Mt. Airy Casino and thought that breakfast was severely lacking at the resort. We took to Yelp and we found this gem. I had the farmer omelet and my wife the Greek, I went with the smokehouse sampler on the side. It was outstanding. Fluffy omelet could have easily fed 2 people and the smoked meats were meat-tastic. I was having trouble eating all of this breakfast but it truly would have been a sin to leave that delicious smoked meat behind. Perfect country breakfast to cure my hangover from over indulging the night before on our "romantic getaway to the Poconos"

Food was good. LOVED the atmosphere. However, we were not happy with the service at all. We waited over 15 minutes for our waitress to come take our orders and once she did she never apologized or anything.

    (3)
  • Chris S.

Awesome breakfast, my wife hasn't been here since her childhood vacations. It is just as she remembered it. The food is brought to you in a skillet. There is more food than you can eat at one sitting and it was delicious.

    (4)
  • Sonia E.

The food was okay. We had pancakes and eggs with homemade corned beef hash. I didn't like the decorations, they were ugly. Also I didn't like that they serve their food in a pan.

    (3)
  • Olly D.

It is one of those places that feels tired and needs a clear out and refresh. Food was below average and why does it have to come in skillets and not on plates? Staff were friendly, understanding, but you feel sorry for them working with a poor product.

    (2)
  • David M.

Wasn't too fond of the food. Pancakes were okay, hash Brown didn't have flavor. Didn't like or get the food being served in a pan, give me a darn plate.

    (3)
  • Courtney C.

Food was awesome. We had breakfast, eggs were great, French toast was good, home-fries were groovy, and the corn beef hash was outstanding. My fiancée says it was the best hash he's ever had. Our waitress was an older lady and she kind of stunk, didn't check in on us at all. There was a guy with long hair that was a waiter and he seemed like he was giving amazing service. Wish we had him. It was a bit pricey but you got a lot of food and it was delicious. Looking forward to going back.

  • T-Squared S.

Got the special - 2 sliders (brisket & pulled pork). Both were dry, especially the brisket. Also ordered the sweet potato (tater tots). They were good, but not enough to bring the meal up to 5 stars. We'll try somewhere else for lunch on the next trip. The breakfast menu looked attractive.

    (4)
  • Andrew S.

This is NOT Highbrow cuisine, but it is the best Hash and Eggs I have ever had, bar none, and I am a bit of a connoisseur of that particular "low brow" item (in my humble opinion it benefits from a dash of ketchup and Hot Sauce)... otherwise for country style breakfast, it doesn't get any better - not sure if I would go there for anything else - @Michael S. - I was glad that the food was NOT served in the pan it was cooked in, as it would have burned my children's hands... sorry for your country fried steak experience - next time ask the waitress what is good - I always have better luck that way than reading some random reviews... It was definitely the best most unique experience in that part of the Poconos - the Buffet at Great Wolf Lodge was TERRIBLE... thank goodness for this place.

  • Chris G.

Awesome breakfast served in the pan. Just look for the pink pig!

    (4)
  • Erik A.

I really like going here for breakfast - if you like breakfast "protein"; lots of smoked meats this is the place for you. The meats are a bit greasy but that's part of the flavor, and they are always fresh. The service is good, the meals come fast and there is a lot to look at if you have kids with. When I think about it and have time I try to grab some breakfast here.

    (4)
  • Sandy S.

Thanks to Yelp we had a filling breakfast here this morning. Service was great, staff friendly. If you are vegan or looking for "healthy" choices, not so much. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfasts served in a pan. Eggs were cooked as ordered, something we seldom find.

    (4)
  • Rob N.

Stopped in with a group of 8 guys for the perfect hangover bachelor party cure and BOY did we find it. The service made us feel like we were at home having a family meal. The food was aaaaaaaamazing. Our pal Robby thought it would be fun to have the Big Bad Wolf which is not one but TWO frying pans full of food. That's right. Your breakfast is served in a frying pan. I never post reviews. In fact, this is my first but I felt obligated to leave positive feedback since I found this place after reading everyone else's reviews on yelps. This place belongs on Triple D. Someone give Guy a call. As the owner said when we were leaving, "Guy would have a blast in this place".

Loved it! Super nice staff! put out dancing pigs yo entertain our 1 yr old. Hubby got chicken fried steak special which would have been enough for the 3 of us. I got the 1 little piggy, pancakes, eggs, French toast and then we got a side of gravy with some biscuits which was amazing! Loved every bite. So sad that I could not finish. We will be back!

  • Michael F.

Enjoyed a great family breakfast here over the weekend, and very much enjoyed the entire experience. I just can't render a 5 star review here...as this place would certainly get a 4.5 from my if I had half points to choose from. I had eggs in the pan (like the time before) with the home fries and onions. Charging $.50 extra for onions..? Seriously...come on ..WHY? I needed to season the potatoes and onions also. My grapefruit juice looked a little strange (very dark), but tasted fine. Hmmm. So..a couple of misses, but minor ones. The pancakes and other sides for the rest of the family where good also. The last time I was here I had the ham...which was fantastic. This will always be a stop for our family for breakfast whenever we are in the area.

OMG! Probably one of the top 5 breakfast I've had. We stopped here after our stay at Mt Airy for breakfast. I had the 3 Little Piggies combo, and my wife had the pumpkin pancakes, both were done to perfection. On our next trip up this way, we will definitely be revisiting this place.

  • Nikhil B.

Great find after we had finished hiking in the poconos and were on our way to mt. Airy ..just stumbled across this place. The BBQ platter was great (pulled pork was the best). We had corned beef hash with eggs in a pan and pancakes as well, both of which were good. The place has a very old school feel and getting the food in pans feels great.

Good food inexpensive. Love the frying pans!

  • Krisy P.

Yes, it is true. The pan of food is awesome and everything is fresh country cooked. I had the meat of choice (bacon of course) with 2 eggs, while Dear Husband had the meat sampler with yummy corn-pancakes... in a pan! Phyllis was a super sweet server and made the strat of the last day of our mountain trip great! However, don't bother using a GPS to find this place, just got down RR 611 and you can't miss it :) we learned the hard way, but the near-off-roading was very scenic.

The portions are huge. The restaurant is nice. Old country restaurant with nice people. Two people can eat one meal. The prices are fairly expensive. Billy's pocono diner down the road is less but they give you less food. Both places are the same quality. I wouldn't go crazy over the food. Its OK. Not bad. But not "best I've ever had!" lol.

This place has character! This is not one of those cookie cutter clone of a typical chain restaurant. If that's what you are looking for, go to the dunkin donuts down the street . once you enter the restaurant, you will be bombarded with pig decor - it's all very cute and adorable , almost make you feel bad for ordering the sausage - *almost. I got the eggs in the pan with smoked sausage , their signature dish. Prefect over easy eggs with crunchy toast to soak up the yummy yolks. All for only $7 and it's on the way home to Jersey :)

Decided to check out this place for brunch when I was on my way to a wedding at Skytop. Based on the reviews, I thought I was really in for a treat. Even though the service was great, the food was mediocre. Yes, the portions are ginormous, but do I necessarily want extra hash browns with my side of eggs? Can't I just have the eggs? I also ordered the pork biscuit with country gravy. It was a huge disappointment. The gravy was tasteless. The biscuit was heavy and not the flaky, fluffy biscuits we have down South. My dining companion ordered the BBQ sampler. The kielbasa was the best part - the brisket was super fatty and flavorless. The pulled pork had a weird sweetness to it. Also, they wouldn't give us any vegetables. Our server's response was, 'we don't have vegetables, they're only for the omelettes.' So we tried to order a salad, but it came with very little lettuce and smothered in cheese. Wouldn't come back here.

We were welcomed by the manager/owner of the place with a smile and sat very promptly. He took our drink orders right away. Tracy then took our orders properly and we got our food quickly. The food was made so well! It was delicious. We even took home a local jar of strawberry rhubarb jam!....excellent experience and excellent food.

You can pass by this place on the way to any other number of diners or restaurants when you're on 611. Allow me to explain why. Tacky signage and a dim, drab dining room greet you. I was sat at a dirty table and it took FOREVER for the waitress to get to me. Now, I've worked in the industry and I tend to think I'm a pretty patient person with matters such as this, but I was getting impatient. I ordered some pancakes with strawberry topping, and a side of this special ham, which I perhaps mistakenly thought would be served in a pan.. since it's all over their literature and all. Anyways.. the pancakes come out and have this gritty, frozen texture to them.. seriously, like they came from a box. The "strawberry topping" they put on it.. well, I don't know where it came from but it came in a half-frozen, half-gelatinized clump. GROSS! And this ham? It came on a dirty bread plate and was the most POS, dried out, quarter sliver of ham that I've ever seen. With a small glass of juice.. my bill was fourteen-something and change. AVOID THIS TOURIST TRAP!

Yummy ribs! The meat literally falls off! The sides were slammin too. Corn bread and mashed potatoes loved it!

I've lived in the area for 23 years and just ate breakfast here for the first time on November 11, 2012 with my son and I feel like the last 22 years have been marginalized from a breakfast stand point. This is without question the best breakfast I have had in the Poconos and will go nowhere else but here and Besecker's.

Hands down the best country breakfast my wife and I have ever had. We shared the smoked meat sampler with eggs and french toast. I believe the sausages are cured and smoked inhouse. The quality and flavors are apparent and sets this place apart from the competition. All of it from the kitchy room and service made for a wonderful experience. I can't see myself passing through this area and not stopping by again.

Okay for breakfast. Greasy and definitely not a healthy, fresh, place to eat. Im shocked it has the high ratings we saw. Will not return and would not recommend.

Best country breakfast since 1970, when my dad took me there every time we'd go to the Poconos. Now I bring my husband and kids. Blueberry pancakes are the BEST!

Gets Crowded on weekends in the am. Refills are not free. We have not tried the lunch menu, but breakfast is very nice. Try the smokehouse sampler to taste all the different yummy breakfast meats. They serve the meals to you in the pan in which they are cooked. We will be back. We have been several times and usually have had good service, but there is the occasional unfriendly waitress like Phyllis.

Yum! The pumpkin pancakes and meat was awesome. Cute, homie place with excellent service. Meal size was big, definitely good for sharing. Loved the piggie motif!

Fantastic. Must try the hash. You can also get their breakfast meats to go.

Awesome breakfast choices served in a pan. The home fries and omelets are delicious. Their bacon is also most likely the best bacon in the world.

The quickest breakfast ever. The food is very good but the service is outstanding. The sausage gravy and biscuit was yum. It was a nice breakfast.

Not only was the breakfast tasty it was good value for money. The old 1950's roadside decor and ambiance made the place feel like one of those places my parents used to frequent on summer vacation road trips. And as an added bonus they were open Easter Sunday so we didn't have to eat the horrible 'buffet' at Great Wolf Lodge again.

Everything from the excellent barbecue to the greeting by the manager (owner?) to the cheerful waitress, to the kid dressed up like a pig in the parking lot was first rate. Enjoyed the brisket and ribs. Sauce had just the right amount of bite. Comfort food in a comfortable restaurant.
