During our first night in this area we looked for a non "fast food" place to sit and have a nice dinner. The interior was nice looking but all the food was bland mostly lacking basic seasoning. From the shrimp fondue appetizer that was part of their advertised "push" to the rib eye steak or even the salmon that appeared precooked with heavy blackening rub (more burnt taste that seasoning). The only decent food was the spinach/artichoke dip and 3 pieces of grilled shrimp (for $3) that we ordered to go with the salmon. Service was okay but I would not return due to the food. The grilled vegetable wrap at my ski resorts bar had better flavor overall. During out first night in this area we looked for a non "fast food" place to sit and have a nice dinner. The food and service isn`t great. It`s way overpriced for what you get. The staff, and managers are not friendly.

Never tasted such revolting food. The salad bar was NOT fresh as the macaroni salad had a funk to it and the vegatables from this bar where hard and unedable. The burger I got was a plate of fat and disgustingness. onlygood things about this place are the appatizers which are just average and like any other chain place and the unlimited refills of the sodas and soft drinks.

You know it is a bad sign when it is the middle of summer, hot, and you are craving a mojito, and the only place to get one, sort of, is a chain restaurant out by the WalMart.

well, like 2.5 starts. Pretty much what you would expect. Salad bar is pretty decent. Steaks are so-so, I would avoid them. Pork ribs are good but I suspect they have been engineered in some facility somewhere. Chicken seems like the winner. Sides are for the most part good; the grilled zucchini was especially good on one visit and soggy on the next. The green beans were overcooked on all visits. ymmv. Service is totally dependent upon who you get. I've had good, bad, and indifferent. Drinks are...come on it's beer and wine from a bottle. They can hardly mess that up. I've only had one dessert and I had it twice. Cheese cake. Get them to microwave it for a few seconds to take off the chill; it makes a huge difference. For $60 for two this isn't too bad. When I'm in Somerset, PA I usually go here at least once because I have not found any place better. There's always fast food but this is a step above fast food but not quite white table cloth and better than most places in Somerset.

I has an wonderful experience eating lunch here. It was quiet and clean. It's like most Ruby Tuesdays, but I think the staff set it apart. I ate at lunchtime, and it was excellent service. Salad bar was clean and fresh. I didn't care too much for the croutons. They were a bit greasey. Everything else was delicious. I had the chicken broccoli pasta. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. A very good portion for a lunch. The hostesses were standing around talking; however, other staff were busy. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Would Definitely come back.

Salad bar was bland, servers chatting about their boyfriends right behind our heads, salmon tasted like a combo of fish and rubber

I don't like this place at all, but decided to give it another try since we got a gift card and I didn't want to waste it. Right off the bat, let me say that the table had not been cleaned thoroughly. There were sticky spots on it. Real turn-off for me if I have to clean my own table, especially when it is not a busy time. To be safe, I stuck with appetizers. I ordered lobster dip and a chicken quesadilla, thinking how complicated can that be? What a joke. Almost $10 for the lobster dip, which didn't taste like any lobster I've ever had. The quesadilla was a few pieces of rubbery, previously frozen, 100-year-old chicken meat stuck in a cold tortilla and slathered with some kind of mayo sauce. They didn't even take the time to throw it on a grill and heat it up. Our waitress was not friendly at all, but sucked up to the table across from us because it was a large party and she probably thought she'd get a big tip. Little did she know we are big tippers if the service is good. Husband had a burger and fries and it was good. I guess that's the way to go if you must go to this place. I've mentioned before to stay away from the salad bar -- it's horrible. Good thing I had a gift card, because I would never spend my OWN money on this crap.

Is this really Ruby Tuesday?? We were in Somerset for work for a week and ate here 4 times. Not once were we disappointed.. and I don't think I've ever been able to say that about a Ruby Tuesdays. Our steaks were perfect (9/9 for the whole trip), the veggies were done but not mushy, everything was super flavorful, and the salad bar was completely stocked and clean. The service was quick and friendly. 5/5 would recommend, which is slightly hard for me to say.

Ruby Tuesday's is like Denny's or McDonald's, you know what you are going to get and you will never be impressed! The salad bar was well stocked and seemed fresh. The bourbon chicken was the scrawniest breast I have ever been served, definately AA or A cup at best! The sweet warm bourbon sauce was well seasoned however It seems this restaurant serves a filet of breast without informing you they are getting 2 or 3 servings out of a single Twiggy sized breast. Probably no more than 3 ounces of meat. SKIMPY! The small portion of sticky rice was served cool rather than hot so overall, the cold beer and salad bar was the best part placed in front of me. The Sam Adams lager, entree, tax and tip was a shade over $20 which seems to me to be a poor value! Next time, I will have the beer and salad bar and skip the anemic chicken!

We came to this Tuesdays from Johnstown to celebrate my birthday and the whole experience was great. I don't know why they have gotten some bad reviews. The service was excellent and the food was the bomb. I had salad bar and Low Country Shrimp and Grits and my bf had Cajun Ribeye with salad bar and green beans. The spicy sausage in the shrimp dish was nice and crisp on the outside like it had been caramelized. The shrimps were delish and the sauce on the grits was spectacular! The salad bar was fresh and inviting even though we came at a time when business could be a bit slow...around 2:30 pm. We will be back!

My friends and I came to somerset for the night and had no idea where we wanted to eat dinner. Then we saw the giant Ruby Tuesday sign and got pretty excited- there aren't any Ruby Tuesdays in Pittsburgh and none of us have had it for a while. We were sat at a table with extremely comfortable chairs but they were too close to the other tables.. We felt super squished and had to move our table. Our server came to the table and without a greeting or an introduction said "what can I get you to drink" with an uninviting look on her face... That through us off right away. Of course I had to get the salad bar- one of the things Ruby Tuesday is famous for. It was a pretty average salad bar, although I was surprised to see zucchini and edamame offered. My salad was fresh and yummy. I also tried their broccoli salad, pasta salad, potato salad and Waldorf salad and found them all to lack in flavor. My boyfriend and I ordered Thai spring rolls for an appetizer and our two friends split an order of cheese fries. I enjoyed the spring rolls although I do not feel like the small order was worth $8. The sauce was awesome- sweet and spicy. Our friends were disappointed to find their cheese fries to be cold. I then had the avocado grilled chicken sandwich. My boyfriend had a burger. My chicken sandwich was pretty tasteless . My boyfriend found his chicken sandwich to be greasy and bland. Although our server's attitude seemed to improve throughout our meal, she never was friendly to us and butchered our checks. I understand that splitting checks is a pain (believe me) but any server should be able to split a party of 4 without a problem. If you are thinking about coming here, don't.. There are other places to eat off the turnpike that would be a much better experience (summit diner for example).

Bland. That's the best way to describe this. I have eaten at ruby Tuesday's all over the country and it is one of my more favorable places. But this somerset one just fell really short. I had the rib eye- ordered medium rare- came out medium well. Okay I can live with that. But it was so cold the butter they put on top to melt into it was still solid when she put it down. I ordered it with onion rings- I always eat my sides first. The butter was still solid when I finished them. And you would think a buttered stark would be flavorful and seasoned correctly? Nope- I had to add salt and pepper. The service again was good- and the salad bar is always a treat- love the croutons. But the $20 steak? Save your coin people- get just the salad bar.

I am NOT a Ruby Tuesday's fan- BUT- this is by far the best RT, Fridays, Bennigans, Applebees I have ever been to. The waiter, Jesse, was awesome. I changed up my sandwich and just assumed that it would be screwed-up. Nope. Perfect. The chicken was even cooked to perfection. Salad bar was great and very clean and tidy. I walked out of that Ruby Tuesdays and while probably will not be in Somerset for a while - anytime I am close. I will be back. PS - cannot believe that I am writing this!!

A little expensive, but I love the food. I always get something chicken, and it's always good. It doesn't take very long to be delivered. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. It's right off the turnpike for anyone wanting a nice sit-down meal before or after traveling the turnpike.

Not to bad, they have a salad bar and a large menu. A big plus is its right off PA turnpike. Fast service and food was ok noting really I didn't expect, they are due for a remodeling!!!

While doing laundry at a local Laundromat during our visit to Somerset, we decided to get lunch from Ruby Tuesdays since it was nearby and we didn't feel comfortable leaving our clothes unattended. I called in our order of an Avocado Turkey burger and a new California Turkey BLT that my friend wanted to try. Our order was ready in less than half an hour and the food was good but the staff neglected to put napkins and condiments in our bag and there was almost no ice in our cokes. Normally this would have really ticked me off and I would have complained but compared to our experience with the Laundromat I was more than willing to overlook it!

It's your typical Ruby Tuesday complete with the salad bar. We stopped in here for lunch and the place was pretty empty, although we were here early (around 11:30). Restaurant was clean and server was friendly and attentive to our needs. I always hit the salad bar when at a Ruby Tuesday's and I love their croutons, especially when they come out warm! I went with the Ruby mini lunch special which included two mini-cheeseburgers plus the salad bar. Overall, no complaints.

This place is a great location for a celebration meal. The prices are a bit steep, but they are worth it. I had a delicious New York Strip Steak along with the Salad Bar. Everything was fresh and clean. I will definitely return to this location and recommend it to my friends.
