Everyone has expectations of small town diners...cheap food (quality and cost) and poor service. Service was fine...our waitress was pleasant even as she was being berated by her boss in front of the entire place. Through boss's rants, we were able to find out that they were short staffed for the evening, so our lady was picking up tables all over. When she wasn't at tables, she was dodging comments from her lazy boss to do all sorts of side work as she just stood there yelling in front of a restaurant full of customers attempting to enjoy each other's conversation. I too work in a restaurant and am blessed by bosses who help when we are short staffed. They would make coffee, buss tables, etc. Not this lady. We got to hear all about the employees and each of their short comings while we waited for our eggs. I even got to have an encounter with miss grouch when our bill came. Turns out the menu from dinner to late night switches at 9 when we came in. Our menu was dinner, prices on the bill were "late night". After I questioned how eggs and coffee could be $36, she informed me that there was no way I could have been given a dinner menu...until I started rattling off different prices of what we ordered. She huffed and puffed her way to the register and reluctantly gave up 4 dollars ( I feel it should have been more, but at that point I just wanted to get out of there). Even as I apologized, (idk for what but it felt like the right thing to do), she ignored me and threw the money in my hand. If our waitress made it to the end of her shift, I commend her...but unfortunately I won't find that out, bc that was the last time we will be dining at this establishment. I expected crappy food, which we got bc it was a diner, but for that price, we could have gone to a lot of other places and have been given better service along with better food.

People: Please acknowledge that there IS a golden rule in life. Treat others the way you want to be treated. I cannot speak to Candis H. nor John N.'s experience because I was not there and I am not them. What happened to Candis H. was most unfortunate. I hope that waitress was dismissed. That behavior to a patron is inexcusably rude. There does tend to be quite a bit of turnover for the trade. If you think about it, you will surely acknowledge that waitstaff comes and goes wherever one finds oneself trying to get a meal. To Jon N. I'd say this: Part of the fun of a public place is the other people. Onward, ok? I've been coming to this diner for many years whenever I happen to me near Sellersville. I had occasion to dine there several weeks ago. I had just come from Telford to consult with a surgeon. I was not surprised to see him there having his lunch. The food and service are usually spot on. That this doc chooses to eat there speaks volumes. I come for the oyster pie. It is EXTRAORDINARY. The baked goods are simply terrific. Oyster pie is not a sweet pie. It is a savory, luscious, area-specific specialty. The other traditionally baked goods are also to be praised. I am applauding this restaurant for its baking, so much so that I'm going to write a letter to the baker, Nick. As I said, I've been coming to A & N since before the current proprietors began running it. I have nothing but kind words for them. A restaurant cannot guarantee each and every experience for each and every diner - which is why I listened to the other reviewers. I confidently assert that Andy S.' review, and mine, are quite a blit closer to the A & N average.

Wow... And that's not a good wow statement! A few years ago We came in to the diner I was 8months pregnant. Our waitress took forever to take our order and it took forever for our food to come. The food was very bland. We realized the time bc we had to be at the hospital. We quickly paid our bill and as we were walking out we forgot to put a tip we started turning around we were in the lobby area. When the waitress came literally flying out screaming excuse me was there something wrong? We said no we are late for our appointment and she said well you didnt leave a tip we work on tips" I was blown away! I had the $ in my hand and I just handed it to her shook my head. And left. How rude?!?!!!!! Okay yearsss later we gave it another chance. My family stood at the counter waiting to be seated ( it was not busy at all) Employees walked passed us not even a friendly hello or we will be right with you. We were finally seated and we were not comfortable with our experience. We will never ever go back.

Mediocre at best. Simply food that remains unexciting and unevenful. I will admit it is one of the cleanest diners I have ever seen. And the service is friendly and somewhat special.

The main positive here is that it's 24/7. Locally there's nothing in the area that you can stop at even at a late evening hour like 10pm without driving north about 15 minutes. But other than that it's exactly what you'd expect from an all purpose diner. Typical diner food, typical diner service. It's the service that's more hit or miss vs the food - at list the food is pretty consistent in decent quality. But let's be honest - after a night drinking at the bar you're going to stop in here at 215am for pancakes and you aren't going to give two sh!t$ about the service. Those pancakes will be the best damn pancakes you ever had!!

Foods Ok it's the best when your done drinking next door it seems to be the best. There buffet is a bit lacking but a quick option when your in a rush
