I can't wait to go back! This may be one of my new favorite restaurants! I was visiting Scranton and came to Market Street with a group of friends and our entire experience was amazing! The service was wonderful. Our waiter perfectly paced the meal and was appropriately attentive, making sure the group of us had drinks and were happy with everything that came out. He also had a great personality and was able to make easy conversation with the table. The menu is so creative and there were so many wonderful options, it was hard to choose what we wanted to eat! There is also an extensive cocktail menu which I completely recommend checking out! For appetizers, we ordered the Chorizo Cheese Dip and Buffalo Calamari. Both were absolutely wonderful and the server was kind enough to bring out extra chips for the cheese dip. Entrees: It took me forever to choose what I wanted to eat because I wanted to try about 10 different things on the menu. I chose the Adult Mac and Cheese - so good! It had a great mix of spinach, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, corn, and cheese sauce and was topped with potato chips. The portion was so large! I ate about 1/4 of the plate and was able to have 2 other servings to take home. My husband had the Ribs, which came with cornbread, mac and cheese and coleslaw. The ribs were falling off the bone and he wasn't able to finish his entire meal, either. The server told us that they have a smoker at the restaurant for their BBQ and I'm pretty sure he wasn't lying because the ribs came out perfectly. Three of our friends ordered the special (which I'm kind of regretting now having) which was pan seared scallops and carrot gnocchis. The dish was plated beautifully and it was absolutely amazing. I can't remember exactly what was in it but they all finished their plates. Another friend ordered the Lime Beef Tacos. This came with 2 huge tacos, which he wasn't able to finish. Again - I couldn't say exactly what was in it but it looked delicious. DO NOT SKIP DESSERT HERE! I'm pretty sure they mix up their dessert menu often as the entire dessert menu wasn't on an actual menu but told to us. Everything is homemade and amazing. We ordered a cinnamon crunch topping cheesecake, homemade pumpkin ice cream, homemade chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich and a banana's foster crème brule. Everything was so good and fresh tasting. This is definitely a new Scranton staple for me and next time I'm in the area, I'll be back!

Went here for my buddy Sammy's birthday. The location sucks, but the food was delicious and a great time was had by all. I would love to go back soon

One of my go-to restaurants in the area. Food is amazing, especially the freshly made desserts. Service is always great, whether I've been there with a large party (20 or so) or just one other person. Tempura pickles are a MUST, as are their loaded chips.

My wife and I visited for dinner on a Saturday night. The service was excellent, as was the food. I had the fish tacos and my wife tried the burger. Both were delicious. Good beer selection too. The remodel is nice, though a bit generic. We will definitely be back.

Based on the reviews I thought I'd be in for a treat. However, I wasn't very impressed. Service was just okay, salad was decent. Would've loved to see a more creative menu. The specialty bacon wrapped wings were disappointing.

I, personally, like to base a review of a restaurant around 80% on the food, it is, after all, a restaurant. I realize that it is a package deal, so I do take service and atmosphere into consideration. I think there are too many reviews here where they liked the food, but put too much emphasis on other things and gave it a lower star rating than maybe it deserved. I was there with a friend for lunch shortly after they opened and there were no other patrons to speak of. The place was nice, but nothing to write home about. The menu is pretty basic, but the server rattled off a list of specials that were quite creative. I ordered a veggie burger made of edamame and baby spinach on a sticky rice "bun" encrusted with sesame seeds that they grilled. Very tasty. My friend got an Asian inspired noodle salad that as far as I could tell, had lots of veggies. It was very good, but I don't recall what type of dressing was on it. The server was friendly and the food came out fairly quick. I'm eager to try something else and perhaps try a cocktail next time, many of which looked yummy.

I live in the Greenridge area and I am always interested to try new places to eat. This is a wonderful resturant- so inventive and delicious! If you go try the Noodle salad and a cool veggie burger served on sticky rice buns- you won't be disappointed!

Had the pleasure of dining for my first time last night with friends. The food was fabulous the service was fantastic & the atmosphere was perfect. It was a Friday evening & the restaurant was packed. I was surprised because there were a lot of bad reviews on yelp which is why I hesitated to try this place. Only thing that disappointed me was listening to the bad reviews on here & waiting so long to try it. The draft beers were icy cold. We had the house nachos I highly recommend them. They were piled high and delicious! We ordered the black and blue bacon burger enormous and so tasty. The chicken panini delicious (order an extra side of the herb mayo you won't be disappointed). We also had the Reuben chicken panini and buffalo chicken panini. Neither one will disappoint! You get 1 side with your sandwiches & some of us had hand cut fries & others had side salads all delicious & they even have malt vinegar for your fries! Every table around us their meals looked amazing too & everyone was happy. We also had coffee & dessert & our server put on a fresh pot of decaf, he could not have been more attentive (this coming from a former server & bartender). We split their apple crumb crusted cheesecake and triple chocolate mousse. Absolutely nothing to be mad at there they were delicious & not too sweet perfectly balanced. All desserts were made in house & they smoke all of their own meats they have a smoker in the back yard. Give them a try you will be glad you did this is coming from a former caterer.

This place has become one of my recent "go-to" restaurants. I'm giving 5 stars based solely on the food menu. There is quite an extensive drink list, but I don't tend to order off it every time I go. The menu is not basic, typical, or average by any means. It's American fare plus some, with creative takes. Everything I've ever ordered here is made with fresh, whole ingredients, so it's actually pretty easy to eat healthy here if that's your thing. Majority of their food is scratch made--even the tater tots! My favorite item on the menu is the fish tacos. Hard to come across traditionally made fish tacos 'round these parts. Waitstaff is always attentive, kind, and serves in a prompt manner. This is definitely one of those places that has something for everyone!

My girlfriend and i went to Scranton to visit some friends of ours, and they recommended we go to this place for dinner. I had no idea this pub would be nearly as good as it was. It was a very pleasant and clean atmosphere and the noise level was surprisingly low for 7:30 on a Saturday evening. First, the drinks.... a craft beer menu with around 30 different choices. The martini menu and Specialty Cocktails menu is also impressive, diverse, and original. Second, the food.... Unbelievable!!! The menu features some basic pub fare such as fish and chips, burgers, and a few simple entrees. What makes it truly great is the list of specials. My girlfirend got Adult Mac & Cheese and nearly fainted from how good it was. She added scallops were arguably the best scallops I ever tasted. Our friends ordered the Blue Cheese stuffed burger and the BELT burger (Bacon Egg Lettuce Tomato) perfectly cooked and seasoned beautifully, with Watermelon Gazpacho.... yes, you read that right. It was refreshing and delicious. I had the Cobb Chicken Panini which had an amazingly good gorgonzola herb mayo spread. Third, dessert..... I imagined it would be a standard ice cream and week old cake type products. Our waitress informed us that all desserts are made from scratch in house every couple days, including the ice cream! Blueberry cobbler was stellar! Creme Brule was astounding! Dessert martinis just added to all of it! My girlfriend and I live 2+ hours away from here and would gladly make the trip for this place again. Absolutely amazing!

I can't add only a 1/2 star Building is redone perfectly, the bar itself is a thing of beauty. However the customer service you get from the red head is horrific. She embarrassed an "outsider". Told him to use his "indoor voice" as if he was in elementary school. She had no problem with the poor guy sitting at the bar and paying cash for at least four drinks and a meal. This is not necessary. He honestly wasn't bothering a soul but you took it upon yourself to tell the patron to "return to his seat" when he spoke to a pretty woman. This is not a place for raised voices or fun. This place is definitely meant for only "her crowd" not for the average Joe. Humility and compassion go a long way and I would rather spend my $$$ on a $12.00 burger elsewhere thank you!

I had been torn between 2 and 3 stars for this place until it came up in conversation with my wife today. (Funny how you sometimes don't talk about stuff after 14 years together...) We stopped in here this last Saturday for lunch based upon good Yelp reviews. I cannot remember what was in this spot before, but I always thought it looked like a prime location for a corner bar: In Scranton and very easily accessible from Clarks Summit. Atmosphere: They definitely put some work into the bar area. There's nice wood, a couple of TV's and a banquette/high top combination along the wall. All good, except I noticed it was pretty cold when we got here around noon. They'd been open for an hour, so there was time to heat the place up. As it was, my wife ate with her jacket on, and I almost did. I thought to suggest increasing the heat, but I figured we'd be out before it made a difference, so I shut up. They have very cool punched tin ceilings that look like they're original, as well as an older-looking wood bar. Cool looking place. But again: It was Cold. Service: Our server was really good. He worked both the bar and the dining room, but there were few here on Saturday at noon, so it was OK. He was very friendly and prompt. Food: I had French onion soup and the fish taco. My wife had the same soup and a grilled shrimp Caesar. We got our soups and I noticed that the cheese is still white and barely melted. I dug in and realized that it was barely above warm. I wasn't about to say anything until my wife asked and I said, "Yep, mine is not hot, either." Away they went with no problem and back they came with a smile. All good. Hot soup. The tacos that I got were all good, except for the WAY over blackened fish. It was a good dish, except for the bitter fish. "Blackened" is a misnomer. It should not be black, and my fish was. And it was burnt, bitter and overcooked. According to my wife, the salad itself was good, but could have used some seasoning. The shrimp on the salad, according to us both, were dry and way over charred on the grill. I thought the shrimp were very bitter, and I wouldn't order that dish. No doubt that this place has potential. That fish taco could be an awesome dish if it were done right. Our lunch would've been better if the dining area weren't so cold. I think we'll be back for drinks or dinner to check them out again. I think it's worth it.

Great beers on tap. Beyond the ordinary bar menu. We had burgers and appetizers and they were delicious and fairly priced. We hope to save room for dessert next time as they are all made in house by their pastry chef. Overall excellent food, service, and atmosphere.

Sadly this may be last review for this restaurant. Have been here many times now, but last Saturday night we wait over 40 minutes for our dinner. Service is great. And the food is great, but having to wait so long is really disappointing. Also, noise level was awful. Two tables of adult ladies were next to each other and several at each table were screaming to be heard. We should have left when we heard how loud it was. When you go to a restaurant, please do not scream!

Big city bar food in Scranton. I have been here twice and plan to return soon, great staff, atmosphere, beer and food. Probably the best burger in Scranton.

The is place beautiful. The food is awesome. The service is excellent. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Everything is made to order so it takes a few extra minutes but it is worth the wait.
