Look, it's a diner. If you're expecting an a amazing "food experience/journey" maybe don't go to a diner. But for a diner, this place is pretty great. Staff is nice, they keep the coffee flowing and I've certainly had worse diner food. I don't live in the area but when I visit again I would be happy to go back.

The diner is very nice, friendly, fast service. The food is very exceptional. I had the Greek salad, but breakfast I have had is great too. The homemade plain cheesecake was amazing. Made by the hostess. Ask them to add a fruit topping, the cherries hit the spot. It was the best cheesecake I have had, excluding my mother's. Very light, whipped, flavorful and fresh. I am a cheesecake expert since childhood.

The good: clean, friendly service. The not so good : The food... I had a half chicken and it was the dryest chicken I've ever had. Basically everything tasted like it came out of a can. They definitely seem to cater to a senior crowd. Food wasn't seasoned at all - adding salt helped. Other things to avoid - applesauce, beans, salad, anything with sauce - see the can comment. Fried corn appetizer and rolls were good. Deserts looked good but after the lunch experience we weren't going to chance it.

I absolutely LOVED this diner! It was the whole diner experience from the waitress right down to the pie. It is reasonably priced and food was better than any other diner I have visited in PA. We will definitely be eating here again.

We had dinner and it was pedestrian at best. My wife had a burger, very institutional look and taste same for the bun. Presented on an empty plate with a small bag of chips. No excuse for a diner not to do an AWSOME cheeseburger, loosely formed chuck patty with some bubbly melted cheese on a nice artisan roll and a few fries or at least not a bag of chips is not that hard to do. I had a country fried steak, worst I've ever had. Seemed to be machine formed ground meat of some sort fried. Again it's not hard to take a mediocre cut of meat, pound it thin, season it, batter and fry it. My mixed vegetables were low quality institutional frozen veggies boiled till they lost all taste and color. Clearly this diners kitchen consists of someone ripping open boxes of frozen food and throwing it on plates after it's been fried, boiled or microwaved. The only upside of the meal was the onion rings . They seemed legit homemade or at least high quality food service type. Maybe breakfasts are better.

Nice location! Right by college campus. The taco salad I ordered need some improvements! Like add some beans and rice to it. And use slice tomatoes instead of plum tomatoes. However overall it was a nice experience. Great job.

We've stopped here a few times for a late lunch after visiting the LV Zoo. The kids menu is a little on the pricey side but at least there are several options. The regular menu is your typical standard diner fare and while nothing exactly stands out, nothing is horrible either. The star of the show is definitely the desserts as they are truly homemade and full of flavor.

Everything I expect in a diner: well prepared basic dishes, reasonable prices, and friendly service. I hadn't eaten veal parmegan and spaghetti for many years, so I thought that I'd try it. Everything about it was wonderful, from the melt-in-my-mouth veal and tasty thick cheese to the simply outstanding rich sauce. My wife, who usually can't finish her meals, thoroughly enjoyed her fancy omelet. Unfortunately, they weren't featuring clam chowder that day, but I've had it, and it was just about the best chowder I've received in any restaurant. Perhaps a gastronome who pauses to evaluate every mouthful and has been to many fine eateries would have a different opinion, but my relatively unspoiled palate found the food scrumptious. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A bonus: both the breathtaking Trexler Nature Preserve and its Lehigh Valley Zoo are close by!
