From Allentown downtown, we followed the signs for the covered bridge tour and after visiting 7 covered bridges, we ended up here. It was ~90 degrees and muggy and the Rita's ice was perfect for this type of hot summer day. This particular location was situated in a small strip mall, next to a burger place. There were 2 windows open and I got the large rita's ice - pineapple, lemon and lime. The girl who helped me was nice enough to ask if I wanted in any particular order. I didn't but it was nice that she asked! The pineapple was my favorite out of the 3 - Lemon is always good but kind of boring. Lime made my tongue green. Large was $3.50 ish. I was tempted to get a Quart for ~$5.50. Next time there's a hot day over 100, I will make that happen. :)

They tried to make me eat this Rita's and I said, "No!, No!, No! (Today's cherry ice tasted and smelled like rotten fruit.)

Great location right off of Route 309. There is also a lot of parking. Staff is courteous and quick. The problem.......I don't like Rita's Italian Ice at all. For me, it's too sugary and watery. The custard is delicious of course; however, after many tries, it turns out I enjoy Luigi's Italian Ice or any kind of shaved ice better.
