Best restaurant anywhere locally without having to go to Indiana, Greensburg, or Monroeville. Funky decor provides great atmosphere. Occasional piano player. Great location for birthday, graduation, or other family celebrations.

I grew up and live in saltsburg, where this restaurant is located, so suffice it to say I've eaten here fairly often. That being said, I've never once had a meal that I finished. From the salads to their chicken dishes, none were even acceptable. My husband always orders steak, which have always been good. For the prices they charge, you should love what you get, not feel bad giving it to your pet after you get home.

Another place where you need to be part of the "clique". The ties with Kiski School is what really seems to keep this place going. Over priced. Food portion is very sad. It seems we all are forgetting that this used to be the stereotypical red neck, dive bar about 25 years ago and probably should have stayed that way. If you live in the area and speak poorly of this place, you are chastised.

Anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. Open minded and hoped for the best and we were both rewarded with great meals. She had the chicken parm, fresh chicken, good sauce. I had the 8oz filet, medium. Cooked to perfection. All in all a fantastic place to eat.

As far as I know, this is the best place to eat within 10 miles of this place. Good classic Western Pennsylvania Italian food. Fairly old school, but that is just fine. What I mean by that is that you're unlikely to find anything on the menu you haven't seen on many, many other menus over the years. But the things they make, they make well. They have good fresh dinner salads; I enjoy the lasagna and chicken parm. They have a variety of dinner specials. They have a kids menu.

Love this place. The lobster bisque is very good and worth the trip into the woods! The owners are super. Pasta, salads, and steaks rank very high. A great place to meet friends or take the family for a relaxing meal! Great menu specials and affordable prices! Call ahead for weekend reservations, and enjoy!

I can not say enough about Marchitelli's Kiski Valley Inn. Very good atmosphere, great food and excellent service. They serve great steaks, pasta dishes and appitizers. The wonderful owners are usually around to make sure your food is cooked exactly as you like it and for pleasant conversation once the I grew up in Indiana and my family would make it a point to head out to Marchitelli's for celebrations and events. Now that I am grown and live in Pittsburgh, I still make it out there whenever I can get a chance.

If I had to describe it in one place, it'd have to be: Interesting. The decor was definitely interesting. I was seated in a grape arbor for dinner. The menu was huge and I had a tough time settling on something to eat. My group got varied meals, from the seafood ravioli special to spaghetti to chicken parmesan. Some of the portions were huge but some were small. The best part of the night was that they had a flute player who came and played/sang Happy Birthday to my mom! (It was her birthday). They also brought out some sort of desert that I don't remember what it was...

Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was simply amazing. Great service, great food, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating...they even printed up custom menus with our names and the date on it. Everyone raved about how great the food was.

My husband and I came here as a night out and I was not impressed. The decor is very very confusing. It was actually distracting to eat here. I did not care for my meal either it was a type of crab dip. It was just not worth it and tasted funny. Each bite I took I was trying to figure out what was in it, and I mean that in a bad way. I will go back someday because I think every place deserves a second chance.

We were thinking of something new to try and took alittle drive away from our normal area and surprise it was worth the trip. Started out with a good seafood app spread ( not sure what it was called) next a big dinner salad with enough dressing ( rare ) for salad. And I had veal parm which was good. Service was VERY good as well. Decor was odd but who cares I wasn't going to live there. We will be back!
