This is the first Five Guys I've ever been too. I am a fan! While their Bacon Cheese Burger may give you a heart attack one day, live it up while you can! The service is quick and friendly, and the food is great! If you are allergic to peanuts you should stay clear of this place as they make use of peanuts and their cup fulls of them all over the place. It really can not be avoided. Other then that, I suggest you check out this place!

The best burger in the area by far. And it looks like the staff works very hard to keep it clean.

Great burgers and fries, fresh with friendly service. Free peanuts to eat while you wait, all toppings free A bit pricey but in line for the quality.

Consistently provides quality products. The ingredients are always fresh, the food is served hot, and the order is delivered quickly. The restaurant is always immaculately clean, and the staff are friendly and well trained. My son and I enjoy the Five Guys app. Our saved favorite is just a few clicks away from a placed order. Upon arrival we skip the line and proceed to the pickup counter. The attentive staff always acknowledge our arrival quickly, hand us our order, and we are sitting down enjoying our meal within a minute or two. Recommendation... if cost is important to you, understand that the potential mounds of toppings are included with the base price of the burger (sandwich, or dog). The base price of a burger is driven by the number of patties, cheese, and bacon. So if you can be satisfied with one patty (order "Little Burger"), no cheese, or no bacon, you can make up the difference with the huge array of topping choices at no additional cost. See the photo of my 'Saved Favorite'...

Umm, not sure what the hype is here. There was nothing special about this place. I could have made an as good or better burger at home and anyone can throw potatoes in oil. $12??? Are they serious? Way overly priced and for this fleecing you don't even get "atmosphere" - a building full of chairs and tables with absolutely nothing on them, you get to look at the white and red painted walls, covered in printed out reviews of the crazy people who gave it 5 stars. Not any nice pictures or anything, just surrounded by the "I love me" wall while you are eating. Ugh, be prepared to pay Jersey Shore prices for nothing better than you can make at home if you still insist on going here

Sorry. I don't get it. At all. 3 stars are for the fries and the large choice of toppings. Unless you're in a rush and don't know the area, pass right on by.

Obviously I am not the target audience, but sometimes we are on the run, are craving fries, and thus end up here after visiting the adoptable kitties at the adjacent Petco. Maybe it is the portion size, but I too find myself feeling not so great about an hour later, and I am not eating the burgers, only fries and peanuts. Maybe it is the peanut oil the fries are cooked in? Overly bright fluorescent lights and dated music are made up for by the view across the highway of the resplendent Exeter Community Library, which seemingly floats on a hill, surrounded by woods. Too bad *their* view is now all shopping center. My spouse is willing to eat the meatless sandwich if desperate. You just have them put toppings on a bun: grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, hot peppers, and such. If they offered tater tots, I might be tempted to stop in more. :-) I was grateful that the staff is not required to yell, "Welcome to Five Guys!" as we walked in.

If you're not familiar with Five Guys, the food is pricey (at least in a Central PA sense) but worth it. The staff at this location are really nice and the place is sparkling clean inside. The food was good. We ordered one large fry...and they gave us enough fries to feed an army! Put the malt vinegar, found next to the drink fountain, on the fries! Free refills on eat-in drinks. Lots of seating inside. Our only criticism is that they need to work on the music. They appear to have Sirius satellite radio but are choosing the wrong station - minor though.

This place has a national hype around it. First of all, if you are going to this 5 Guys on a Thursday night you should be smacked in the back of the head since the best burgers are right up the road at The Arbor Inn. Now that I got that out of the way let's talk 5 Guys. This place is a casual informal joint that is in the new fast food category of good food fast. These are popping up faster than zits on a teenagers face during prom season. This worries me, do you remember Boston Markets? Yeah I can hardly find one of those anymore. Anyway the food is very consistent, and they are proud to let people know that they do not pretty up their burgers. This I like, because it is real. Also the whole place is a utility place of burgers. Everything is very simple, and I think that is how they are successful. All burgers are made to order, and they always post where in Idaho their french fries came from. While you wait for your order you can munch on peanuts. Which brings me to say please stay out of here if you have a peanut allergy. As far as additives for your french fries, you can only eat them plain, with ketchup, or with vinegar. This is one of the major issues in my eyes, they should have more options for french fries. In my opinion they should ditch the hot dogs off of the menu and some toppings for fries like chili or cheese. Also, why do they not offer a veggie burger, I believe they are loosing a big customer base. Another issue is they do not have milkshakes, this is a nice treat at times. However I feel they only deliver 50% of what a burger place should deliver. Don't get me wrong, I will eat here from time to time for a quick bite to eat so I can avoid typical fast food spots, however I think the chain has opportunities to improve, and their growth will catch up with them.

What is there to say about this place, really? The burgers and fries are great for fast food, but almost without fail, I feel sick to my stomach just minutes after completing my meal. Does this stop me from going back? Nope. I say go with a Little Cheeseburger - no need for the double meat.

Five Guys has great burgers that are completely customizable with toppings of your choice. The fries remind me of Boardwalk fries that you get down the shore, which is a fond memory for me as a kid that vacationed in Jersey. I have to agree with the other reviewer about feeling sick to my stomach after eating there. I guess it's all fat/grease, but we all know that fat is what makes a burger yummy. I wouldn't frequent Five Guys too often for this reason, but I will definitely go back again.

Wow what a surprise. I've never had a burger and fries this good. Me and three others were very happy with our meals. We dent even finish the fries. We brought them home for future use. After a very disappointing burger at red robin this was a total delight. It was a drive but worth every mile. Will go again.
