The menu is fairly standard "mexican" fare, but I find it is well prepared. Very tasty. Far above average. I'm hooked on the fajitas and I love the free chips and salsa. This is one of three locations they have in the Reading Area. I guess that qualifies as a mini chain, yet I find the food here better and more authentic than any of the major chains. They have a full bar and the service is is always friendly. Tons better than taco bell at not a lot more money.

I really enjoy going to here. Tried it by chance a few years back, and I keep coming back for more. Food always comes out quick and delicious! Good friendly service as well!

Good Mexican food - sketchy service. We've never been disappointed by the food, but I don't know how long they will stay open with so few patrons. We've never been impressed by the service, which is surprising when there are only a few tables filled.

I liked the food that I had, and what my wife had. The experience was a-okay. There were a few quirks, though, which tempered my enthusiasm, a bit. If in northeastern Reading, and Jonesing for tex-mex, this is a solid option. I went with a burrito, and it was sizable - easily 12-inches long. Not overly stuffed, and a bit light on the meat, but the ingredients were tasty and the sauce was good. My wife had the shrimp quesadilla, and liked that as well. Though, I think the portion of shrimp was also a bit skimpy. A friend went with a carne asada dish, and the meat was cut very thin and was well done - difficult to not be, given the thickness. She also had some concerns about the cheese. Service was okay. We were one of two or three parties. The waitress was cool in not having a problem in doing separate checks for a our three groups of 2. However, she was frequently absent and forgot things like straws, and drink refills were sporadic. Many tables. Seems pretty clean, and a little different from a 'standard' tex-mex kind of place. Looks like the bar was of good size. It's on my list of options, now, for when I visit that part of the Reading area.

The best Mexican restaurant in temple. Good service, great food, decent prices. The nachos are amazing! We always get them as an app perfect for two to split. My boyfriend likes the special dinner and I normally get the fish with pineapple sauce or the chicken with cheese sauce onions tomato and zucchini. The portions are big you won't leave hungry!

We made a reservation for 6:30. It is now 7:40 and we just got seated TWENTY mins ago. We have been waiting for our margaritas ever since we got to the table. We still have yet to place our orders. Staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to accommodate us appropriately. We will never be coming back here. There are much better, more authentic, Mexican restaurants in the area with proper service and waitstaff that can actually do what they promise they'll do.

I am not a fan at all. The salsa was awful it seemed more like it came from a jar than fresh. The homemade hot sauce was not even mild, it was like tomato sauce. Service was slow and I thought for the quality it was overpriced.

Where have I been? This place is like "comfort Mexican food". They have standard offerings but the flavors are more elevated and they use lime the way it should be! We sat at the bar because we didn't want to wait 20 minutes for limited table seating on a busy Friday night. The bartender/ manager was very nice and attentive. He offered my BFF and I separate checks which made life easy. The best part; Dos XXs on draft- stay thirsty my friends! I will be back.

Delicious food. Stopped by here today after taking a test. I'm so glad they had queso (white cheese dip). Service was great as well!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
