I ordered 11 pcs. chicken for $12.99 + tax which i paid. Popeye's 40 mins. away from my house so as soon as I got home and opened the box there were only 8 pcs. I called the store and spoke to one of the employee. She never apologized and just directed me to come back with receipt within 2 weeks to get extra 3 pcs. Who cares about extra 3 pcs.? They should have apologized first. Also employees needs to learn how to count and be more polite. Bad customer service. I will never go back to this store.

Drive thru. Had to wait too long. Was asked to pull forward on rocks, literally, or pull around front and they will bring the order out to me, which never happened. Pulled up again and they acted as if this was the first time seeing me. Drive through's should not take 20 mins for 2 meals! Rude unprofessional staff. Won't be returning. This place won't last long if there isn't a major staff replacement or customer service training.

That was the worst tasting chicken strip. What part of the chicken was that? It tasted like rubber and it was cut thinly across the muscle.. For $4 plus I should have gone to chic-fill-a. Just plain gross!

I'm a regular customer to this Popeye's (and any other Popeye's that I'm passing by) and after reading some of the reviews I feel obligated to share my experience in this location. First, I love the spicy fried chicken and you can't get the Popeye's taste anywhere else. Now, Popeye's has always had difficulty in terms of order fulfillment, but most of the issues revolve around serving the food while fresh. In particular, the chicken tenders they serve are almost always made to order and not usually dug out of a bin like other places might do. French fries are never cooked in bulk so that they are also fresh when served. These "made-fresh" menu items and two types of chicken (mild and spicy) for customers to choose from do cause some frequent delays in order fulfillment. Obviously, that is more noticeable in the drive-thru than inside. With all that said, I'll tell you that this location has one of the top management teams in the business. They will always try and make your experience great. They even have coupons online to make your meals more affordable. I'm not here to convince people that they should love spicy fried chicken. But, I am here to tell you that if you really dig that spicy fried chicken taste that only Popeye's has, then this location is worth the extra effort to get to the next time you have that craving. Let the team there get to know you and you will feel like a VIP on every visit. BTW this review is not an implicit "two-thumbs up" for the entire menu. I'll order a two piece combo spicy, white meat with fries nearly every time I go.

Decent fried chicken but I miss having a KFC in pottstown. Super-slow service and many things are too spicy for children. Prices are high for fast food. Employees were exceptionally non friendly on each of my visits.

We came here to have a birthday lunch for our kids. As we were eating and a argument erupted!! Two manager's started screaming at each other and using profanity in front of our kids!!! We are calling the franchise owner and we are never going back again!!!

The food here is okay. The service though is severely slow and not too friendly. I ordered a 10 piece chicken and when i pulled up to the window the drive thru attendant apologized for not having anymore drumsticks and proceeded to inform us that she was the only one on (whatever that means), since i could clearly see 4 other workers in the background. All the while of listening to this poor excuse of an apology with slick ideology(is that a word?!!!) j.k., she never offered any type of compensation for their boo boo of being a fast food restaurant but yet running out of the proper proportions for my order. This would not be my first place of choice if im hungry and looking for a bite to eat thats quick because this place for sure is hardly that.

I have always loved Popeyes, but I'm sad to say I won't be going back to this location. My boys decided they wanted to go for their birthday lunch. We went (unfortunately) and received our food promptly. Halfway through lunch the two female "managers" started screaming at each other behind the counter, in front of every guest in the place. The fight escalated, one of the other crew members tried to force them outside. They were swearing and yelling, I stood up and told them they were completely out of line. The old lady "manager" told me to "Shut up". Really? I know Popeyes isn't fine dining, but way to ruin my kids birthday lunch. I was furious! I told her she should be ashamed of herself for speaking like that in front of my boys. I'll be calling the franchise owner today...I better get my money back, because that was completely out of line. I will update with the results of my chat with the owner.
