Best bagels in the U.S. They're huge, soft, and toast so perfectly. They have an amazing assortment of flavors. Having had bagels from LA to NYC, none have even compared to the taste and texture of these puppies. The everything bagels truly are EVERYTHING. Oh, and the sugar cookies are also amazing. So are the cream cheese horns. I could go on and on...

Awesome! I give few 5 star reviews but this place deserves it. I was very impressed with their selection and quality of their breads and pastries. They are a little on the pricey side but you are going to pay for quality.

Excellent baked goods! However, I only gave three stars after having met with a baker regarding possibly making my wedding cake. He was not friendly by any means and basically rushed my fiancé and me out of there in about 10 minutes. Then, rather than sitting and having an actual tasting like other bakeries, we were given two inch squares of different flavors in a to go container. They were the highest priced of all the bakeries we looked at but even if they were the lowest we still would not have chosen them based on how we were treated.

Delicious!!! This is a wonderful bakery for breads, bagels, rolls, and sweet treats. I haven't had their cake, so can't comment there. But any time I'm visiting family in the area, I make sure to pick up some jelly logs - 6" donut logs filled with jelly and topped with cream and coconut. They're awesome! They also have the best bagels in NEPA and maybe three best rye bread too. I believe everything is baked on prem. Its reasonably priced and they offer a wide selection. Ample parking is available. Staff is very friendly.

This Bakery is the Second best Bakery in the valley to Sanitary in Nanticoke. Yes I live close to Bakery Delite, 15 minutes away but I will drive past them & go 30 minutes away to Sanitary Bakery any day of the week. The baked goods at Bakery Delite are good but their prices are high. I still buy things here time to time but when I need a Cake made or lots of Bakery goods for a get together at the house I go to Sanitary in Nanticoke.

These guys did my wedding cake back in 2004. Absolutely fantastic. Worth every penny. The baker even came out of the back to shake my hand and look at my ideas of what I wanted. He was able to do exactly what I asked for and it was the best tasting cake of any of the other bakeries I'd been to. Oh and the bagels here are divine! Can't wait to go back one day and get another cake.

I have ordered their nut roll for delivery when I lived 800 miles away. This is THE place for nut roll and poppy seed roll in NEPA.

I could write a 5 star review based solely on the smell of this place when you walk in! Oh its heavenly! We always order our cakes from Bakery Delite. Usually just a sheet or 1/2 sheet. If you start adding lots of decorations and designs and what not, the price can climb up there. they also have wonderful pre-made cakes and cookies that come in really handy when you forget you are supposed to bring a desert to a party or send cookies or cupcakes to school for your kids birthday. Their bagels are the best in the Valley! They even make King Cakes for Mardi Gras...although they are nothing like the real thing, its a nice attempt and still tasty!

The pastries, cookies, and bagels here are awesome. The bagels are the best. They are so soft and fresh that my family eats them plain and untoasted when I bring them home. Their ricotta cookies may be the best I have ever had. I have given them to many friends and they all agree that these cookies are just outstanding. They are a little overpriced at $1.20/each but when I feel like indulging, the price doesn't seem to matter.

I thought their products are overpriced. Cakes and cookies are much too expensive. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for exceptional baked goods, but I think their products are just ordinary and can be found elsewhere for a lot less money.

I ordered a cupcake display and cake (Cars theme) for my son's 1st birthday. When I picked up the order my sons name was spelled wrong even tho it was written on the order form so they had to fix that. Also, the writing on the cake was not on top of the cake as I was told it would be. Instead, it was on the tray. They gave me $10 off the cake. When I was leaving I asked for a bigger box for the cake and they stated that they didn't have one so I left with the cake being uncovered. I had to cover it myself with aluminum foil when I got home. At the party, which was the next day (I ordered the cake for Monday and the girl didn't tell me they where closed on Monday, which lead to me picking it up on Sunday) the cake and cupcakes were dry tasting either too sweet or like baking powder. I was mortified. Kids didn't even finish their cakes or cupcakes and adults came up to me and told me the cakes and cupcakes were beautiful (they were) but they tasted horrible. Needless to say, I called the bakery the next day. The manager (George) was shocked, did not apologize and instead said "we sell thousands of cakes and never had a complaint" and asked me if I had any cupcakes or cake to bring him to try. I told him absolutely (you know it's not a good sign when you have 40+ people and enough cake/cupcakes for 45 and half of it is left and the other half is barely consumed by the guests). So, I dropped the rest of the cupcakes and cake off and asked to speak to George but was told he "left for lunch" so I spoke to the lady who had helped me with the misspelled cupcakes on Sunday. She was surprised and upset. She apologized and told me that she would have George call me when he returned. Its been one day and one phone call (I called this morning and the person I spoke to said he couldn't "be disturbed" but she would have him call me. Yeah, right) and I haven't heard back from him yet. That shows how professional George is. To clarify, I did not call in hopes of a refund or whatever--I paid for the cake and that is fine. I just want people to know what I went through. I went there once but will never go back. Yes, the bakery is nice and the staff is friendly, but if all their cakes/cupcakes are like the ones I received, then you are better off going to Walmart--you pay less and know what you're getting. And George, if you ever read this review, please take a course in customer service: a polite phone call would have gone a long way. After all, your lack of professionalism and behavior is a reflection of your bakery. Thumbs down.....
