My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Georgetown Centre this September. We heard a lot of good reviews about the Georgetown Centre, so we decided to schedule our event with them. The wedding was beautiful and our guests had a wonderful time!

I was at the Georgetown for a bridal shower recently as a guest. I have not been there in years. First of all the service and food was good. All servers were pleasant and accomodating. The building itself is a different situation and in dire need of updating and cleaning! The room I was in needed a fresh coat of paint badly. The ceiling tiles were yellowed and sagging. The atrium windows were yellow and moldy looking. There was a partitioned wall in the room that obviously had not been dusted in years because you could see the dust falling over the edges of the wall. Granted the linens, fabric chairs, carpeting all looked fine, but it appears that anything above 8 feet was totally ignored. If I were the bride, I would have been totally disappointed.
