One of the better hotel restaurants I have been too. The high ceilings give a wonderful open air feel and the windows some delightful views of the city of Philadelphia. The breakfast buffet is well done; made to order omelets, waffles and eggs were delicious. But what stood out was the chef was friendly and welcoming. I've been to too many buffets where the chefs seem bothered by your requests; Ben greeted you and chatted while he cooked. The wait staff is friendly and quick to clear your table or fill your cup. This place, on top of a great hotel make it worth a visit

The breakfast buffet offers some solid options, including eggs made to order, an omelette bar, french toast, steel-cut oats, and various breads, Service (for drinks) is pretty snappy. Breakfast was included in my rate, so I'm not sure how much it normally costs, but I'ts probably worth it. A good way to start your day.

Would love to have tried this place having stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. However the place was closed for a private party. There were plenty of private room open, but the place decided to close down the entire lounge for a private party. The did not post a sign that it was closed for a private party. So walking in we think we can get food/drink only to be kick out because it's a private party. It might be good to post a sign that the place is closed. Better yet, move the private party to one of the many private party rooms available and allow other guests to use the lounge. I bet you would make more money that way.

The ambiance is great - cozy and elegant at the same time. I went twice for dinner while staying at the hotel. It was not at all crowded either time, so the servers were very attentive. They were even able to accommodate my request for a table near an outlet, so I could work. The cobb salad was awesome, and their french fries are crispy and delicious. My only criticism is that the veggie burger was unimpressive. I would not recommend ordering it.

I enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks here. Both were great. The morning buffet gives you great options and the food is great as well. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. Melissa is host sets the tone from the time you walk in. Drinks in the evenings were spent with Newton and Mark at the bar. Both extremely nice bartenders. The bar is a small area with about 6 seats but the area around it is lounge-ish and you can enjoy cocktails there as well. The managers reception that is apparently every other Wednesday is a nice touch that included drinks and heavy hor d'oeuvres. I would visit again when I return to town.

Very nice place! Ate dinner here and took advantage of the breakfast buffet. The break fast buffet is wonderful! Omelets, eggs, pancakes and waffles made to order, fresh fruit, grits, breakfast meats, yogurt, assorted pastries and cold cereals, piping hot oatmeal with garnishing on the side ... Just over all , WONDERFUL! I would LOVE to come to this breakfast buffet again in the future and am going to double check to make sure you don't have to be a patron with a hotel room :D

I don't usually frequent the hotel bar at the Hampton Inn, but I was looking for a beer. Anthony at the bar was great, very friendly and kept the bar open for an extra hour ad half because people were having fun. Too many people would have had last all and pushed folks out. He made the place nice. And I only had a short walk back to

Staying in the hotel for a conference and had the breakfast buffet. It was amazing! A little confusing to figure out where you go to get the omlet cooked but once it got figured out, all was good. I don' think they were ready for a large influx of customer that came with the conference however. But the food was great.Had a spinach omelet.

I had morning breakfast buffet and it was good. There is a fireplace in the middle and nothing but full length windows to see downtown philly and the view was excellent from up there. The employees came by to check on us if we needed anything else.

I never thought of reviewing the Tenth floor Grille until today after staying here at The Hilton Garden Inn on 11th and Arch st in Chinatown. My brother Duncan was visiting Philly for the holidays and he stayed at The Hilton. We were hanging out and I decided to sleepover with him. The next morning we decided to dine upstairs at the Grille. They have a breakfast fit for a king! And they have every imaginable breakfast item available for you to choose from. Omelette's, french toast, Belgium waffles, eggs anyway you want, muffins, cereals hot or cold, fresh fruit including my fave, ruby red grapefruit, yogurts, pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrapple, grits and etc, etc etc. The Coffey is great along with the service and the beautiful view of Chinatown and The Convention Center.

Came here Monday night during Hurricane Sandy, since many other places were closed. Our server was very friendly, which I always appreciate when dining. I ordered the steak and my date ordered the salmon, but we ended up sharing our meals. I enjoyed the salmon, but the steak seemed a little tough to me, but my date enjoyed it. For dessert we just had chocolate ice cream, it wasnt on the menu but our waiter hooked us up! After dinner my date and I sat and talked for a long time and they didnt rush us or anything even though they were obviously closing. The waiter was really nice which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3.

Very awesome place to go and have a drink if you are waiting in a super long line at the Troc, because you can look out the window and see how the line is doing while chillaxing in a posh environment.

This is an excellent place to have a big leisurely breakfast. They have made to order omelette's, bacon, sausages, grils, biscuits and gracy (personal favorite), selection of cereals, etc in their breakfast buffet. The decor is classy and elegant and the floor to ceiling windows lend to a panoramic view that is awe inspiring. I was initially surprised to see such a nice restaurant at HGI, but my doubts were quickly put to rest. I try to eat here or at least have a cup of coffee whenever I'm staying in Philly.

Expensive for breakfast but it is an all inclusive buffet and only worth going if you get it for free. The made to order omelets and waffles are great. The service for breakfast is very attentive. There is a large selection of fruit, pastries, and other items besides the eggs and waffles. It is $13.95 for breakfast so for the average family that is a little much, I got mine for free being a high ranking hilton honors member. The bar is very small and intimate and this is not a bad thing. The drinks are relatively inexpensive. The bar tender was friendly, attentive, and courteous. I went for appetizers one night and they were reasonable priced and good. Make sure you know the hours of operation because they do close early. All in all great service, okay prices depending on the meal, and a nice view of the city
