Friends don't let friends drink fourbucks. This particular location is crowded fduring the AM rush especially. I also call it CHARbucks as the coffee drinks usually are roastde too dark for me. The espresso drinks are passable - but be careful as they are loaded with sugar and often with fat if you get them made with whole milk. Not a big fan of Starbucks in general. We grind and brew our own at home using peregrine coffee beans for a fraction of the price.

I love Starbucks which is odd because I rarely don't drink coffee. When it comes to Starbucks in Center City there's an abundant selection. This is my favorite Starbucks to visit! The baristas are always so pleasant and friendly and no matter how long the lines are the service is always quick and efficient. That might not seem like a big deal but when you're going into work at 7:30AM every smile makes a difference. I've gone to a few Starbucks in the area and no one makes my skinny peppermint mocha like these guys do. I'd definitely recommend this Starbucks above the rest to anyone working in the Market St/ JFK Blvd area.

This place have kicked up there game recently. The lines are moving much faster now! I'm basically in here everyday now. The workers are amazing. They all finally got my name right! Yay!!! So many drinks that I love but can't get all the time bc of the crazy calories: Salted Caramel Frap & Mocha- Delicious. I love the salitness and sweetness Double Chocolate frap with the choc whipped cream-YUM White Choc Mocha-Mmm hahaha...I could prob list the whole menu, but I won't. Oh, the breakfast sandwiches and pastries are wonderful as well. Give those a try!

I was extremely frustrated as I saw three orders got processed before mine. Mine wasn't even processed until I asked where the heck was my chai tea latte. The guy was like....ummm. It was the person who took my order who was at fault who failed to write down my order..ughhhh. very irritated. This doesn't even deserve a star but I couldn't send it without rating

I'm a reglar here but they've messed up my drink twice by putting milk into my latte instead of soy! My stomach was destroyed today. This is dangerous! People order soy for a reason! I realized this too late. I always get ventis, too.

The music on point at this location! They play Motown and the seating bar in front of the window is great for people watching while talking to a friend! Great location

Pretty solid Starbucks. I recently started going to this Starbucks on my way to work. They do a good job of really trying to get you out of he door quickly in the morning. Even though sometimes the line can look really long, it goes much quicker than it looks it will.

Well for starters this is my regular morning stop but today they deserve a call out! I got into a line today around 5 till 9 that was winding way back to the seating area and had been through the line and had my coffee in 7 minutes along with the many other people in front of me! As they do me I am continually surprised with how many names they remember and their coffees! Well worth walking out of my to get my coffee! Way to rock it guys!

Don't let the long lines scare you they move pretty quick here! It's always busy during rush hour so maybe they can use another register? But If you go after 10am and usually noone is there! They re nice n friendly and the place is clean! Plus the free wifi is always a nice perk.

Women's bathroom was out of order, so there was a sign to request the key for the men's bathroom. I bought my $5.50 drink, requested the key, was told it was in use and to wait in line. So I waited. Did I mention that I'm 9.5 mos pregnant? And I waited. Then this guy comes around the corner, key in hand, steps in front of me and goes into the bathroom. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I finally get into the restroom and the TOILET SEAT IS BROKEN. Like hanging part of the way off the bowl. Awesome. Thanks, Starbucks. A new seat would be a $10 bill and about 10 minutes of work. You have one bathroom at 15th / Market and you can't even have the decency to have one functional toilet seat? I could see the headline as I hovered over the toilet seat "Pregnant Woman Falls Off Broken Starbucks Toilet, Gives Birth in Bathroom, Spills $5 Drink".

I typically wouldn't spend the time writing a review of a Starbucks, to me they're all pretty much the same, however I want to give a big shoutout to the 1500 Market team for always getting my day off to a good start. This location is a zoo, I mean suits and ties, pumps and pencil skirts packed to the gills all day every day. The line can be 15 deep and yet I have never waited from the end of the line to drink-in-hand more than 5 minutes. Now mind you I'm not exactly the "Venti 1 pump caramel, 1 pump white mocha, 2 scoops vanilla bean powder, extra ice frappuchino with 2 shots poured over the top (apagotto style) with caramel drizzle under and on top of the whipped cream, double cupped" kind, a simple iced coffee will do, however this place runs like a well oiled machine. Line getting a little long? Don't sweat it, there's always a friendly faced employee taking advanced orders for drinks to expedite your wait time. By the time you get to the register to pay for your concoction, you're never waiting more than another minute or two for the barista to shout out your name. Thanks 15th and Market S-Bucks for making my mornings a little brighter and still managing to get me to work in time.

You can't train people to give customers service the way the gentleman and miss helped me today . I came in sad and leaving happy. Give them a raise !

I can't believe we are reviewing Starbucks. But then again, we also reviewed Wal-Mart and Super Fresh (ah, local Philly flavor!). I personally don't like their coffee (too bold), but I suppose Starbucks is good for those who drink Coca-Cola Blak (that's caffeinated caffeine for those not in the know) or for those who need to be hit in the head with an anvil to wake up in the morning. BUT, Starbucks' Iced Black Tea in the summer is incredible. For colder months, go for Pumpkin Spice!

I'm going to review this specific one first, because a majority of people know of Starbucks. So, this one is quit busy before and after work, also for lunch. There are NO couches, so don't come here to lounge. It's also a bit of a weirdo magnet. I was in their one day and this guy came in was waving his hands around in the air pretending he was deaf, but NOT signing anything coherent. They tried to help him and he just stood at the counter, they finally asked him to leave and he wouldn't. Then another guy was standing outside spraying himself and the air with windex, while an overweight white guy enters in African garb and a 1980's portable tape deck. So, come here for the entertainment, come here for a coffee, but don't expect to lounge around like at other Sbux. What makes Starbucks worthwhile? 1. Consistency and 2. Service. I'm not picky about my coffee, so I could really go anywhere as long as it's close. I spent most of my college years (avoiding study time) in a coffee shop before I even heard of Starbucks. But, what i love is that I know with virtual certainty that if I walk into a Starbucks anywhere in the world, i can get the same drink and they will remake it if I don't like it without hesitation. Now, we've had our run-ins with Sbux employees, (Willow Grove, New Hope...I'm looking at you.) But, entering an unknown local place, is hit or miss by a large margin. Did the guy order enough milk for the day? Are they using a crappy mix? Do they even want you there? You never know, but when you find the place you like it's yours forever (or until Starbucks moves in down the street.) Starbucks, is definitely expensive. So, don't feel bad about sending your drink back...but don't be a jerk about it. We're all staring at you. TIP: GET A STARBUCKS CARD! FREE: 2 hours of wifi a day, free beverage with bean purchase and free 'select' syrups and milk.

I think that what malls were in the '80s, (and continue to be in New Jersey today), is how the '00s will look back on 'Bucks. A fad to be laughed at. In 1995, when a Starbucks opened up a block from my house, I was happy. Twelve years later, I'm sick of seeing them everywhere, and I'm sick of the effect they've had on the English language, and the consciousness that it's okay to pay 10 dollars for two coffees in a paper cup. You're not ordering a Scion... you're getting coffee; kill it with the options! The only time I use the 'Bucks is when I'm driving on the various turnpikes of the tri-state... and in need of that Costa Rican crack that strips the enamel off of my teeth. I'm at Dunkin Donuts... which might the John Candy of coffee houses, but I never had a problem with Trains, Planes, and Automobiles.

Ok I know... It's Starbucks. But all chain stores are not built equally. I am not a big Starbucks fan but they have become my regular coffee place the last month since I changed job locations. There are two Starbucks by my job (the Wawa is closed for construction, ugh). I have named them good bucks and bad bucks. This one is the good bucks location. Excellent customer service, and in comparison to other Starbucks a much better turn around time on service. The most I've waited here when very busy is 5 minutes. At the bad bucks ( on 18th and market) the norm is a 10 minute wait and if it's busy kiss your lunch goodbye lol I really do like the staff here, and prices while steep for a coffee aren't to bad if you just get a regular coffee, not the fru fru crap that is more like a milkshake. I will still be going back to Wawa when they open. The coffee is simply better and cheaper. 4 stars is because the staff is great... Starbucks as a franchise is more around 3.

This is the most comfortable, and well-managed Starbucks I've been to in Philadelphia, hands down. One might be hesitant to go in due to the current construction in the building (rendering the entrance a bit hidden) and the seemingly long lines, but rest assured, they know how to move a line along and you won't be waiting more than a minute or two.
