Ordered delivery online using my debit card, then a few minutes later they called me to say that they closed that location and would not deliver to my address from their current location. I couldn't pick the order up as I don't drive, so they voided the order and said the money wouldn't go back into my account for 3 days. Fix your website. You have no business taking peoples' money if you can't fulfill the order, and at the very least you could've offered to extend your delivery territory (I only live 3.1 miles away) as a courtesy. This was your error; not mine. This is not how a respectable business should conduct themselves.

I really like Santucci's. The pizza is okay, but it would be so much better if it wasn't so greasy. The prices are a little hefty too. It's not that bad now, but it is still kinda high. As for everything else; it is perfect.

The price of a pizza is damn high but the sauce is crazy great to me. I don't know why it is that good. I would order it everyday but afford this pizza.

Totally agree with what another reviewer said about it being hit or miss. When they are on point, the pizza is amazing, but too many times lately I've gotten a gross, soggy (almost wet) pizza with barely any sauce. They are also one of the highest priced pizza places in the neighborhood (come on, it's dough and sauce). I wouldn't mind paying 15 bucks for a pie if they were consistent with what they deliver. There are too many good places nearby I would rather order from that I don't have to play the "gross or not" game with. Step it up Santucci's.

Santuccis isn't just a pizza place, it's a Philly staple. My mom grew up with it, I grew up with it, and I'm sure my future non existent children will grow up with it. Pizza pie is their thing and they do it best. They are expensive but it's worth the extra price for the quality. And nothing is better than having leftover cold Santuccis pizza for breakfast. Their cheesesteaks are also pretty darn good.

Santucci's is Philly fast food pizza done right. This is a staple in the Northeast and it's expanded to locations all over the city. They're all pretty good. Square pizza, cheese under the sauce. A classic. Acidic, unique, no Friday night feels complete without a Santucci's. Beats Taconelli's any day.

I was starving and on my way back to the city from a tennis match, and was trying to figure out where to get lunch. I drove by Santucci's and then turned around to go back. I just ordered the basic pizza. Wait time was about 10 minutes. I like the idea of having the tomato sauce on top because I love tomato pie, and this pizza was good, but I didn't love the crust. It was a little too chewy. The sauce has a really good flavor though.

I visit Philly a couple of times a year to visit family. Every time I go, I order a Santucci (pepperoni, mushrooms) for delivery. If I had my way, I'd order it every night while visiting Philadelphia...but family won't let me. It is, by far, the best pizza I've ever had in the United States (and I've been to over 45 of those states, and have ordered pizza in many of them). I'm writing this revue while I'm in Jacksonville, Florida. I just ate a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, and am not the least bit hungry. Yet, my mouth is watering as I write this review on Santucci's. Pavlov's dog, I am... The last time my sister came from Philadelphia to Florida to visit me, I BEGGED her to bring a Santucci's with her on the plane. I had an answer for every excuse that she gave me. She was taking the train to the airport (I would have Santucci's deliver the pizza to her in front of the airport!). She wouldn't be able to get it through security (Not true! I verified that you can bring a pizza as carry-on!). The other passengers would be annoyed by the smell coming from the overhead storage bins (Screw them! They're from Philadelphia...they've smelled things much worse! Plus, all she'd have to do is wrap it in a plastic trash bag!). Alas, I didn't get my Santucci's delivered to Florida by my sister. I hope she never needs a kidney donor... People in Philadelphia are spoiled rotten. I don't think they have any idea for how privileged they are to have access (at any time!) to one of the best-tasting pizza's in the country! If anybody happens to be flying from Philadelphia to Jacksonville, Florida, I'll happily PAY YOU to bring me a Santucci's!!! I'll meet you at the JAX airport with cash in hand!!! Just don't expect me to share a slice...

The prices are going out the roof now , pizza has been hit or miss for the last two years , my last orde was $41 and my family of 4 was still hungry , I thing a few years ago what I just got this week would of been about $10 less and much better

Good pizza is really hard to come by nowadays. Santucci's is one of the few great pizza places left around, in my opinion. The sauce is different from other pizzerias, with a little bit of spice to it, and very smooth. Cheese is on bottom with sauce on top. I think its a little less cheesier than most pizzas, and usually that would be a bad thing, but all of the ingredients must be very high quality because this ends up being my second favorite pizza place of all time, and that's saying a lot. Like the other poster, I usually don't like pizza crust, but Santucci's is the perfect level of crispiness. Would never throw away a crust from this place! Worth driving out of the way for!

I gotta start out by saying. sometimes its really good pie, had a few soggy ones lately, but the only thing that stops me from ordering on a regular basis is its really pricey.

I've been a huge fan of santucci's pizza for years but recently, not so much. This week, my husband & I ordered a pizza from the cottman ave location. He got half mushrooms. I to half roasted peppers. He's fine. I got food poisoning! They need to be really careful how thy store that stuff. I've been sick for 3 days! Joe Sr. Would be rolling over in his grave!

I frequently get take out pizza from here and it's usually delicious. I love sauce, so I love having the sauce on top of the cheese as they do at Santucci's. The workers are usually pretty friendly. Delivery is also fairly quick. The only complaint is that sometimes when I order extra sauce it's saturated with too much sauce; other times it's perfect. Also, when we order one with light sauce and one with extra sauce, a few times they have both been covered in sauce.

Really good pizza. They put sliced chunks of mozzarella cheese on the square crust with buckets of sauce on top. While they have other menu items, the focus is on the pizza.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
