Saladworks is premised on the uppity build-your-own-salad concept, but they aren't using quality ingredients. The chicken (?) struck me as particularly unidentifiable. It might be tolerable if they weren't charging airport prices.

Saladworks saved my life this last trip. Flying from the DMV to San Fran feels like you are flying to freaking Guam, it's so long. It's even longer when you are on crappy US Airways and they want to charge you for everything on flight. Saladworks had me covered though. On my layover, I was able to grab a salad made to my order - mixed greens, carrots, green and red peppers, and dried cranberries with a touch of balsamic vinaigrette. Even the flight attendent had to comment on how good it looked once I started munching. I also grabbed a breakfast sandwich to eat prior to boarding which was pretty solid too - egg, bacon, and cheese on an english muffin. The staff is effective and gets you through the line quickly. Not the friendliest, but not mean or rude...just rushing since everyone has flights to make and the flow never really slows down for them. Anyway, if you are at this airport and need a healthy option, Saladworks is definitely your best bet.

I walked up with low expectations and boy did they meet it! My breakfast sandwhich was... Okay. The place is just as dirty as the rest of the airport. The customer service is lacking. And bring a baseball glove because they're going to throw your coffee towards you at 90MPH. Would I eat here again? No. Would I recommend it to your pet rat? Yes.

If you are looking for healthy this is the place...great selection of salads and sandwiches. I am glad to see a place like this in an airport...I am so tired of fried stuff. While I was looking at the case a frantic woman came here and it sounded like an emergency. They calmly brushed her off towards the courtesy phone. I jumped in to clarify that we might have a medical emergency. The young girl behind the counter now decided to go get help. Some lady was sick in the bathroom. Back to my order. I had the buffalo chicken panini. I was happy to see the chicken was grilled. I was sad when I bit into my panini and the chicken was completely cold and the cheese was not melted. I got toast with cold ingredients. So not happy...it was really a letdown!!! The guy making the sandwich was very nice but the rest of the staff sucked. He handed off my grilling sandwich to another girl and I'm sure that is why it was cold. And the girl at the register was so mean. She doesn't know the meaning of customer service. I would eat here again but would probably stick to a salad...who cares if that is not hot!!'

I've been to many saladworks, and my experiences have been pretty good. This however, was not a pretty-good-experience. This saladworks is located in the Philadelphia International Airport...so beggars can't be choosers I understand that. Being in an airport is equivalent to being in a baseball game or amusement park -inflated price/crappy food options. There wasn't a lot of options located in terminal A. This seemed to be the only non-greasy fried option. I got a regular turkey sandwich. I asked them to put mustard (they don't have spicy mustard), and they said they don't put mustard on! I would have to do it myself from mustard packets. I don't know if they don't like "contaminating" their knives with mustard....i could see that being a problem with say...peanut butter (for those poor souls with a peanut allergy). But really, no mustard? It's a standard condiment. They don't have a knife dedicated to mustard? To make things worse, I then had to mustard up my sandwich on my tiny airplane table. Fail.

It is one of the healthier options to eat at the airport. Chicken does not look and taste like it is fresh out of the grill. I tried the salad and it was good with a lot of options. The service was very slow. I also tried the veggie soup and it was very good. I would like to try the Italian wedding soup next time I am here. Dont get the avocado here. Avocado is one of my favorite things to get with a salad or sandwich but the avocado here tastes aweful. Three stars for bad avocado (charged extra for it) and slow service.

Serves big Texas cinnamon rolls. Also, a large assortment of salads, soups, wraps, and sandwiches. Popular place that has a slight bit of an upscale feel with white dinnerware. Multiple salad dressing and 5 spreads for focaccia. Bottled drinks and chips here too. If you need a healthier option this may be it.

I approached the counter to check out the sandwiches and noticed small bugs the size of fruit flies flying around in the glass. When I was greeted with a "what do you want?" I simply walked away and found food elsewhere.

Not the speediest of food joints I've been to at a busy area but my Sophie's Salad was very tastey!

It's expensive. That said, with the only other option being pizza in this wing of the terminal, it was a pleasant quick bite. I got the half salad with soup and a diet tea came to $12.

Pretty good salad selections with a lot of variety. Definitely what I was craving.
