I always love salad works. They have the best variety for good salads. But the one employee that works at this location is so good at his job he gets annoyed when you don't order or pick your toppings quick enough. This isn't my favorite location for salad works bc of that

I have lived on City Ave for a little over a year and have been meaning to try this place out for almost as long! I am a big salad fan so I was excited when I actually got there yesterday. The store is located across the street from the ACME supermarket next to Boston Market. When you walk in you see the 'salad bar' with a menu of different salad combinations. I opted for the Cobb salad (without the crumbled bleu cheese and bacon bits). The salad comes with a mini loaf of warm bread (wheat or white). The cost was about $10. Well the wheat bread was middle-of-the-day fresh but still good. For a $10 salad I feel like I got a little shafted. There was a decent amount of toppings and lettuce however I think the salad should cost more between $6-7. Not entirely sure that I will visit this venue again. There is a HoneyGrow across the street also that has an awesome looking salad bar that I have been meaning to try so that will likely be my next salad stop.

Not really much to say here except you've got lower price lower quality competition with the acme salad bar and higher quality more expensive salads across the way with Honeygrow. This place is on par with the corner bakery across the street with of course a larger salad selection.

I'm going to have to second what Rafael G. Said below. Everything appeared to be okay, but when I tasted the green beans in my nuevo nicoise salad, they were sour. YUCK. My only suggestion would be to taste the produce before it goes out.

A great addition to a busy part of town. The staff is helpful. I've always enjoyed their menu.

I frequent the saladworks on Welsh Road and Roosevelt Blvd, so my standars have been set pretty high when it comes to Saladworks locations. This location is really dirty. The kid at the cash register TOUCHED MY ROLL WITH HIS BARE HANDS!!!!!!!!! *VOMITS* He touches money, wipes his face, and probably scratches his ass with those hands. The salad servers hate their jobs, and probably hate their lives while at work. I work in a dental office with people who get angry everyday, but like Kirk Franklin..... "I smile".....HEY SALADWORKS KIDS, TRY IT SOME TIME! UGH. THE FLOOR BEHIND THE COUNTER HAS FILTH EVERYWHERE. I'm scared to ask what's going on in the back area where food is prepped away from plain view. Also, why do they barely have soups -_-. Where's the butternut squash dangit!?! I will NOT be returning. I'd rather keep going to the N.E. location near my job and drive 30 minutes home with my salad soaking in sweet fat free honey mustard.

I've studied food microbiology and I'm acutely aware that you're much more likely to good food poisoning from uncooked food than from cooked food. I also think teenagers are generally dirty (present company excepted!). So with their teenage staff, this Saladworks had my queezey meeter set on high sensitivity. The place looks generally clean and I didn't see any servers cleaning their ears, so I was pretty much at ease. My wife and I both had salads (I think they also serve soup and sandwiches). I was surprised that the salads on the menu were pretty generic; nothing really very exciting or unusual. My chicken Caesar salad was fine and about the right size for lunch; I didn't have any leftovers, my wife brought home about a third of hers. While eating though, I did start to question the true cleanliness of the place. While sitting there looking at the dirty windows, I noticed one of these peculiar looking flies that I have never, ever seen anywhere except in dirty urinals. Guys, you know what I'm talking about. Get that toilet bug away from my food.

Decent salads and a lot of options. Wish the bread was better (it tastes like paper).

The Buffalo Chicken salad is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! Yum! I like that or the the BBQ chicken salad, along with a whole grain roll and apple juice. If the soup of the day is good, I grab one of those too.
