I have not been in Philadelphia long, but I have been in more than 30 bars and night clubs over the past few months as I work on reviews. My field is social media and person-to-person marketing. Red Sky has small rooms and a cozy atmosphere, which makes it great for dinner parties and nightly bar rentals. It is not made to have more than 150 people and can be uncomfortable with that many. Although its size makes it difficult for a raging good time with a club full of people, the club has the best spot for nightly bar rental of large parties and special events. If I were on their marketing team, I would advise marketing their club to private parties and businesses for nightly renting and dinner parties.

We came for brunch and were informed the chef had left and wasn't answering texts. The bartender/hostess/server gave us water and water downed tea on the house. Bad menu. Bad management of the kitchen.

This place was on a list of bars included in a bar crawl some friends and I paid to attend on New Years Eve. The official site of the bar crawl said 5-2am. Around 10pm we cabbed down to old city to try out this bar. When we got to the door they told us they were no longer accepting people with wrist bands for the bar crawl and told us to pay cover or leave. I was very calm because I understood the bars were not getting paid to be part of the crawl, but I did want to know why this was happening, and if it was the only bar that was doing this etc. The man at the door who I believed to be somebody of management was BEYOND rude. He told me all of the bars were done with the bar crawl (which was a lie) and would barely answer my questions or even look at me. So we decided not to let it ruin our night and we went to Rittenhouse where every other bar on the list let us in. So moral of the story this bar is run by complete money hungry douche bags, I ended up spending my 100 dollars somewhere else instead, and I most certainly will never go back AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

We had a small seasonal after dinner party there the night of "the" storm. It was surreally empty. Live radio d j was supposed to happen tho - you know - a little snow in the city, and there is panic in the disco. New management just took over the cozy, stylish night spot so I suggested they get the CLOSED sign out of cyber space. Ill check it out again when in Old City on better weather evening.

This place felt like Rapeville. You may not find a lot of love up in this particular club, but you'll probably find a lot of herpes and regret.

Went here for a group happy hour and they have a lame bar. Couldn't get a manhattan as they don't have bitters and I wanted it made with Powers which they didn't have. They also didn't have Johnny Walker. I ended up going with a dirty martini which was disappointing compared to those my friend Dave mixes up at Stir.
