if i could less than one star i would...big horrible onions in everything. Not tasty and very hard to eat.pretty bad when onions make up 75% of the three food items we ordered. and the egg rolls are very small.no cookies, and we spent thirty bucks. Plus the kicker , we ordered a two liter root beer and THEY SENT TUBBY 's ROOT BEER from sav a lot.really? ????????

I wish that there was a negative rating for a restaurant. The customer service a Jade Palace is absolutely appalling. I called for a simple large chicken and broccoli and somehow was brought shrimp and broccoli even after it was read back to me. From then on, there was Abbott and Costello like chain of events. It took almost an hour for me to get my correct order and then once they came they took back the rice without replacing the rice. When I called to say that I didn't have any rice I was told to eat it without rice and they would get me next time. They were rude, inflammatory and name called and they hung up on me twice. I have had my fill of their piss poor attitude and lack lustered cuisine! Don't eat Jade Palace!!!!

Do not order from this place, I ordered chow mein and I got rice instead of noodles when I called to complain I got a rude Asian lady yelling at me telling me that mein is rice. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

I ordered for delivery and it took nearly two hours to receive my food. I also didn't get the pineapple I ordered. It was my 2nd time getting food delivered from them and they were excessively late the first time as well. I'm flexible and very understanding when it comes to the service industry but I am not happy when I don't get my fruit.

I defaulted to this place because we were looking for delivery Chinese food and, regrettably, there's not many options near us. It seemed like the safest option based on the yelp reviews (only 2 reviews at the time we ordered). I'll say that the food was decent, nothing special. Generally not any better or worse than any other corner Chinese restaurant in Philly. If not for what I;m about to share, I'd give them the customary "A-OK" 3 stars. But what irritated me, knocked them down to 2 stars, and prompted me to write a review was two things: 1. It took them an HOUR AND 10 MINUTES to deliver and I live lest than 10 minutes away. I had to call twice to see where they were, and each time they kept telling me that they were "on the way". So very frustrating when you're hungry! 2. I've found that typically the chick rice soup is pretty good at even the most basic Chinese takeout place. But this place literally filled a quart container to the brim with rice, poured maybe 1/2 a cup of broth over it, mixed in like 5 pieces of green onion, and sprinkled 4 small pieces of chicken on top of this mound of rice. Very far from anything that could be described as soup!

This place is a great Chinese takeout, I am a regular here because the food is awesome and the workers are very friendly. They have the best pork fried rice. Great prices. I highly recommend this place.

Worst Chinese place ever. Food was cold, stale, disgusting. Rude and unprofessional. Tried it on different occasion, all ended with a HUGE disappointment. Does not deserve any stars. Wish they close this place already...

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
