Been coming to this DD for 5 years - but no more. Last Sunday I ordered an iced coffee and then - yes, I succumbed to temptation - asked if I could get a combo deal. The lady at the counter asked me what I wanted. I ordered a blueberry muffin (blueberries are very healthy - right?). And then it happened - smiling sweetly, the lady gave me my bill total. Not the combo deal, but rather the full price of the iced coffee and the muffin. "What happened to the combination price?", I asked. "Oh," she said, no longer smiling - perhaps because she had been caught - "we don't do that for iced coffee, only hot coffee." When I pointed out that she might have told me that when I first asked about the combo, she told me she would take the muffin back - and then, looking around at the other marks waiting to be served, she pointed out that DD really didn't need my business. Guess not.

It was so nice being reunited with DD on my recent trip to Philly. I am obsessed with their caramel latte. Don't change it to the skim milk it will taste completely different. When it's made with artifical sweeteners it also taste weird so just get it as is. Trust me you won't regret it! I am not a huge donut person but I enjoy their munchkins. The red velvet and pumpkin flavors are especially tasty.

I'm a true lover of Dunkin, although this morning solidified for me why I never order more than just coffee & the occasional dount/munchkins here. I ordered a bagel toasted with butter. However, what I received was a toasted bagel which first had cream cheese spread onto it (then the cream cheese scraped off) upon which butter was then spread. The bagel was cold, and since there was a thin layer of cream cheese between the bagel & the butter, the butter never melted. SO, cold toasted bagel, with a cold mixture of cream cheese & solid butter. Yuck, no thanks. Dunkin, I really do want to love all that you do... but you're making it incredibly hard! Advice: stick to just the beverages and donuts (but ONLY in the morning hours when they're freshly baked... I still have a few memories of receiving hard/stale donuts in the evening hours at various Dunkin locations). Staff at this location is always friendly, and moves quickly to get out the early morning rush. Just make sure to know what you want as soon as you get in, because like I said, they like to move the line along quickly.
