So far these are these best yeast donuts I've had in Philly apart from the ones I made myself one time. Of course, I have had better in other cities without even looking, but Philly's bakeries are just not the best for donuts. Still have to try this yum yum place people rave about, but I need a better excuse than donuts to drive to the burbs.

Hands down my favorite donut shop in Philadelphia. Don't let the bullet proof glass or the funky atmosphere throw you off. These are the best donuts served by the nicest people in town. Personally I can't stand the donut chain donuts (seems like they area always stale and blah) and though I do enjoy the fresh donuts form the hipster place I prefer an old fashioned glazed or a blueberry donut from Donut Plus any day of the week!

The crullers are really what you need to go here for. All the donuts were good, but the crullers were amazing! I bought two dozen donuts for 11 bux and some change.

a rival to yum yums, donut plus is conveniently located between the landromat and neighborhood porn store. despite the charming locale (or because of??), excellent donuts abound.

The donuts here are fresh everyday. The coffee taste great and best of all the prices are unbeatable. This is a great mom and pop operation. They really take care of their customers and I see the same faces everyday. A really great neighborhood establishment.

i heart donuts a lot and this is one of the better donut places around. Dunkin doesn't even compare. The only thing is... why are there no maple donuts in Philly? But the delicious apple fritters might make up for that.

Love this place. Been buying donuts here for years and they never disappoint. Try the old fashioned or the crullers. Everything is good. My favorite place for donuts in Philly. Like these more then the donuts at Federal. Coffee is nothing special tho.

Screw Dunkin Donuts. Donuts Plus reigns supreme. Where do I even begin? This place does everything right. First off, it's owned and run by two of the friendliest people you'll ever meet who will always greet you with a smile. I also appreciate that they don't judge me when I order 2 hot sausages with all the fixin's, a sprinkle donut, and a large coffee for breakfast. You cannot beat their prices. $1.50 for a large iced coffee that is served in one of those chinese take out containers (you know, the big plastic ones that they put soup or iced tea in?), .50 donuts, and $1.00 sausages was how I started every morning this past summer. During the colder months, I've switched over to hot coffee and $1.50 bagels with cream cheese. I don't think I'll ever be able to step foot in a Dunkin again...Donuts Plus has stolen my heart.

The donuts are delicious and fairly priced but be sure to visit earlier in the day in order to get your favorites before they sell out!

By far the friendliest people that will ever serve you. They always greet you with a smile and if you happen to be a regular, they will have your order ready before you say a word. The ice coffee is so refreshing its what gets me out of bed in the morning. The chain store has nothing on them in regards to prices. No one in the near vicinity can beat their prices. The donuts are always fresh and soft. Don't let the shopping center fool you. This place will always be my first choice for coffee and donuts.

Where else can you guys donuts on the border of University City and West Philly, where you don't have to go to Dunkin Donuts? These guys saved my life today as I had to bring donuts for lab meetings, was giving said lab meeting in 30 minutes and I didn't want to bike from 43rd all the way over to 34th and go to Dunkins. Thanks to Yelp, I found Donut Plus....but no review. I checked them out (slightly sketch area), but I could get a a dozen donuts for $6....and the best part is everyone at work liked it! Good selection of donuts too-glazed, sprinkles, bear claws, etc....

Amazing donuts. Friendly staff. **Support your local economy and shop here!**

The best apple fritters in a donut shop in this city. Easy no long Lines, the earlier the better selections. Fresh clean atmosphere. Big medium coffees Yass Donut plus!

  • Dan W.

Making this review short and sweet because the donuts and 2 ladies who run this place were! I highly recommend their apple fritter which is huge and almost double the amount in portion of a regular donut. You can think of the apple fritter they make like dense funnel cake but moist on the inside with apple flavor. All of their donuts are 80 cents, while their apple fritter is 1.35 if I remember correctly. Cash only and the earlier you come the more selections, enjoy!

  • Tiffany T.

Well, I got 2 donuts and a small coffee for $2.50 so they get 5 stars for value thats for sure! This is a good go-to if you want some quick donuts and coffee to go, and it's super cheap as you can see. But this isn't a destination like Federal Donuts or anything -- no crazy special flavors :p Lady was super friendly too. Great for what it is
