Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Hahahaah..the reviews at my local BK are hilarious!! I wanna add another one.Yes. Lots of teenagers running this business. Kudos to them! BK managers do not care because people will still purchase their burgers on the rush. It is convenient. I go with Whopper Jr..which shrunk. Helps with my diet...so no problem and I get my 4 piece tenders. Oh and Im terrible using the new machine for getting water. Restroom when Im using this place to u know....and then off to go vacuum the car next door at the gas station. Convenience. Yipeeeeee! No working Wifi. ;( If they had Internet this would be my hangout because it is close to all the highways entrances. Whoosh! Take a drive.

BBQ Bacon Whopper gives me a baseline price on the Livingsocial PYT punch card special. For the sandwich only, same price before tip and no wait. Burger King wins. Now about the deferred maintenance, the place is falling apart. Think trailer trash decor.

I don't think I ever stepped foot into this Burger King, although I live nearby for over 15 years. The reason being is that I only venture here late night and used the drive through for my fix on fries. Late night service was good. But drive thru are always weird and creepy for me. Especially when the speakers are messed up, or people working talk over the mic and I hear everything. Fun tales of late night cravings.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give them Zero stars, I would. We just got back from dinner with our 5 year old daughter who really, really, really wanted to go to a Burger King so that she could get the "Cats & Dogs" Plastic toys they are promoting on TV with their kids meals. We obliged her - and I figured that even though I loathe fast food, I'd get a side salad or something. Well, when we arrived I insisted that DD & I go to the ladies room to wash hands. The bathroom was soooooooo disgusting (seriously, it made Penn Stations Bathroom in NYC look clean.) that I immediately attempted to tell someone. That's where the real fun began... My kind & patient husband was waiting in the order line and for us to come out of the bathroom. (When we first arrive there was noone in the line - and the dining room was nearly empty - Monday night around 7 PM) So buy now there are 2 people in front of us. One guy gets his order fulfilled and leaves. The next guy is having a problem swiping his credit card. It won't take. So we wait. And wait. And wait. We placate DD with a Burger King crown. And we wait. Meanwhile 2 BK staffers are dealing with credit card man and another slack-jawed employee (in front of the fry machine) stands there looking on. Noone takes our order. Finally... The guy comes over to take our order. I tell him about the ladies room (We'll fix it, he says - and to their credit they did.)m he takes our order and we sit down. Did you know that BK offers Kraft mac 'n cheese as a kids meal choice? Well they do - and DD got the last order of the day. Anyhow, may $1.00 dollar menu side salad (which was loaded with fake-cheese-topping - eew) was barely edible. I watched kiddo eat the mac 'n cheese. Drink her apple juice box, dip 3 fries in ketchup and play with the prized "Cats 'n Dogs" toys. Aye yi yi. Mama needs a cocktail And some real food...

Five employees, standing around and doing nothing, the one was new. The manager looked at me and saw me waiting to order. I guess it was more important for her to get her jacket and leave then wait on me.....I was the only one there. Really? You cant take 30 seconds to take my order. Finally, while 4 staff were waiting around, making sure the one employee got her break meal, they all just looked at me. I waited. Finally, the new girl waited on me and she messed up, we both laughed, but she corrected herself. I get it, it can be hard when customers are in your face staring at you. Maybe she should be the manager since she actually helped me, unlike the manager who walked out. I do come here once a week, to get my BK fix, but lately it has gone down the tubes, There are no onions and special sauce on a cheeseburger!!! Is it that hard?

The food presented to you looks unappetizing. The food is ok, but I wouldn't recommend going here. Make the extra effort and go down a few blocks to the WaWa.

It's a train wreck of a meal that you just can't keep yourself from hankering from time to time. Give in, get that Triple Whopper, and remind yourself why you don't go there. It gets three stars because the only thing sadder than eating at Burger King is complaining about eating at Burger King.

Perfectly average Burger King, notable mainly for its hilariously unpunctuated sign out front (from September: "9/11 Never Forget Try Our BK Double Stacker Now Serving Breakfast"). Convenient when you're going to the movies or the DMV. Parking lot is very small, but abundant free parking across the street. IN SUMMARY Food freshness: average for BK Order accuracy: 90%, good Overall staff attitude: typical Philly apathy and disdain, but not actually hostile Cleanliness of dining area: good, slightly worse on weekends because of the movie crowd Cleanliness of bathrooms: don't know Refills on drinks: yes Condiments, napkins, utensils: grab 'em yourself Kid's play area: no Drive-through: yes

Not to imply this is a one in a million fast food establishment that is unlike any other fast food establishments you have been to. I just think that this is a good spot to get fast food before you see a movie at Riverview. I'm always here chowing down on the BK Double Stacker. I've tried other sandwiches but they were pretty lame (fish sandwich and one of the steak sandwiches).

Reason to go to Burger King? Their Whopper Jr. ,no cheese with fries. I treat myself once or twice a year. Its a good sandwich, the right size, maybe 3 ounces, with that Burger King back yard charcoal taste that is damn good.

Went here for a quick bite to eat before heading to the DMV. I was surprised at how cheery and nice the woman in the drive-thru was. Props to her. Delicious hash browns!!

The....the manager yelled at me. Haha. I asked for a burger with no cheese. I sat down, looked at the box, and the box was marked no cheese. When I opened the container, I saw the burger had cheese. So I went back up and asked for a new burger. The manager came over and said "No, theres no cheese on it." I showed him the cheese....and he said I was wrong!! Haha. I was so confused as the girl at the counter just told the manager "Please dont fight with him, I already made a new burger". Besides that and the overflowing trash cans, this meal was a real let down....as much as a Burger King meal can be.

I go here for whopper Wednesday ok for the price the self serve soda is too high tech and had problems when I was there could not use it had to get soda from counter on the back it's ok when it works and can chose from many drinks but when it is time to reset it or add refill just too long to reboot.

Horrible!! We came into this spot to get a bite because right next to it is the DMV, where we were waiting for road testing. The service here is horrible and runned by kids! The only good thing I can say about this place is , at least the bathroom was clean. Other then that, go find another fast food or anothe BK spot to eat at. This is the last resort.
