The only decent thing about this place is the breakfast. You can't screw up breakfast! Even though service is slow, the food always comes out pipping hot.

I keep wanting to like this place since it's right around the corner, but each time we've gone it's worse. The final straw was going there at 5:30 on a Friday night. It was NOT busy and I was there with a friend and two special needs ladies. We sat down and waited a long time for service... And then we finally ordered our food which took almost 45 minutes to come out. Didn't get items we asked for but due to time constraints thought if we asked for the right thing it would be another 30 minutes. The food wasn't fabulous and we will not be going back...

I stopped in for breakfast Sunday mornibg after church with my niece and we both really enjoyed our breakfast. Our waitress Rose was very pleasant and informative. Call in for their daily soup special. And for under $10 they have a all you can eat salad bar. I will be visiting again soon

Where do I begin with this review.....WoW is my only word I can use. The meal started out ok very slow had to ask for a refill for my ice today. We ordered nachos which took a half hour just for them to come out. My dinner partner ordered the Santa Fe chicken which looks like it was microwaved and he refuses to eat the rest. I myself ordered a cheese steak cheesesteak was nothing to brag about when I asked the waitress does it come with fries she said yes no fries were on my plate. I need another refill on iced tea and now they were out of a tea. When my cheesesteak I asked for fried onions which one the menu says break I was charged on my bill 55 cents for onions, do you think if they're out of my regular drink I should be discounted or not charged for a drink not here to 2.25.

I tried this place for the first time, drove past it for years. Breakfast was not bad. Nice size portions. Prices were not bad. Service ok. Place has plenty of potential and is in a great location. Needs a little TLC.

This place has good food - if you can get served. The wait staff is not well trained. They are more concerned with arguing about who has more tables and we waited for water for 45 minutes! I hope they will get their act together because business is definitely suffering over the last months we have been coming here.

Pancakes were delicious and so was the Italian wedding soup! It's a diner that serves diner food....nuff said.

I took my daughter there shortly after they opened. I was shocked that they didn't have breakfast specials on a weekday. The diner right down the street does, so it didn't make a lot of sense to me why they would charge so much. Egg, bacon, and toast are idiot proof to make, so why charge so much more? They also didn't offer a kids menu, so pay $7-8 for breakfast for a child seemed a bit much. Service was nice and it was busy. But they really need to re-think the prices and specials. If they change that, I would consider going back.

Note to self, look up reviews BEFORE you walk in!!!! This place is terrible. Three waitresses and 10 tables and they were extremely overwhelmed. That's just sad. There were three tables waiting for food (two people at each) when we got there. When we left, two were still waiting on their food. The wait staff is horrible. Full of attitude and anger. Ordered coffee, OJ ($3.45 for a "large") and milk. Got the coffee and OJ immediately. Had to wait on the milk, it was in a different location? Ordered our breakfast, came out pretty fast, I guess because there isn't much to it, no seasonings at all. I've never tasted eggs and home fries so bland. Didn't ask if we wanted refills on our coffee, figured she'd be right back, since I will still waiting on my scrapple (my husband got his). 10 minutes later, I'm still waiting on the scrapple, I said don't bother, disk the realize the attitude could get worse. In the 45 minutes we were there, we were never offered a refill on our coffee, wait, let me correct myself, she waited till we were standing to leave to offer it to us. I noticed we weren't the only ones waiting for refills. This place is pretty expensive for the "food" you get. Never again!!!!!

We stopped coming here because of the service. The food is good when the order is put in correctly. Service is all over the place. There is one guy in there who is a great server. And then there are the rest and I guess if you hit them on a good day, service is ok. If not, which is most of the time, it's slow, your food comes out late and lukewarm, forget about a refill on coffee or tea, they disappear, they forget your toast or your silverware or your side order or any of other number of aggravating things. It just wasn't worth coming in here and hoping for a decent experience.

New management team is very nice, but you rarely see them. The "servers" if you can even call them that are awful. Took us 20 minutes to get greeted, another 20 to order, and 30 for our food to come out. The kicker: it wasn't even busy! They are not attentive and just plain weird when it comes to table side manners. I will never be returning here.

Maybe it is because they are new. Maybe it is because they are inexperienced. Maybe it is because the menu is soooo expansive. The fish tank is cool. it has invisible fish and plants. Lest I digress... The food. The soup tasted like noodle water, it was supposed to be chicken florentine. The s.o.s. came out of a bag. The salads sat in water in the bottom of the bowls. They didn't have caesar dressing. they didn't have french dressing. Stuffed grape leaves out of a can. What was really strange was that the food seemed to come out all at once and really really fast. Of course in moving the food so fast out of the kitchen they left a lot missing. We had to have the waiter return to the kitchen four times to complete the order. When it was time to leave our waiter could not be bothered to get us the check. I waited over ten minutes for him to get up from his table and produce the check. Then they couldn't run my credit card because they use the same line for the phone and one of the staff was busy talking to someone. This is not the food Montgomery County is waiting for, unless we are speaking Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Notes to the owner: Reduce your menu by half. Stick to what you can do fresh. Expand the breakfast portion to provide biscuits and gravy. Maybe a good red-eye gravy. Get known for something great. Make your own breads, do something! Cure your own bacon and corned beef! Anything! Can I teach you how to make soup? Please! There is greek food on the menu, as far as I can tell you are not greek. I'm pretty darn sure the chefs aren't greek either.

id give them 0 stars if i could. this place has problems. dont go here unless you want to wait 45 minutes for your food. as i looked around not a single table had food. we saw the sign for new management and thought it would improve. nope. same terribleness. the food is mediocre to ok but cant be enjoyed properly after observing salty wait staff and poor management. stay home or go somewhere else.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. We went for breakfast. We were welcomed when we entered and seated immediately....then we waited....and waited. Finally after about a 15 minute wait a waitress came over and asked us if we had been helped yet. She seemed to be drunk or stoned. She was confused and brought us half our drink order and then we waited....the food took forever! We ordered eggs. 30 minutes later the food finally came. We were missing butter for the toast and a side dish. We asked for both immediately. The side never came and we asked three times for butter! Finally we got up and asked for it from the man at the register. Of course by this time the toast was very cold. After the meal Someone who seemed to be a manager removed our plates because we were clearly finished then we waited.....20 minutes later we finally got our check. We paid at the register and were not asked how our meal was nor thanked for coming in. The food was not worth the wait and the service was horrible! Too bad because the location is great and there isn't any competition nearby. They really need to get it together. Diner beware!

Under new management, but not well managed. Upon arrival we were seated immediately into an over crowded dining room on a Friday night. Every table was filled and every wait staff member looked frazzled. We orders drinks from a waitress and 2 different people tried to take our order. After waiting an hour and a half for our meals our baby was getting fussy and tired. When our food came it was raw and cold in the center. We did not have time to wait for the food to be reordered so we left and they waiter told the owners about our situation. As we were leaving the owner who did not seem to understand English very well, did apologize and told us we did not owe anything. I would not return

Service is a little weird, but food is decent. I was a little worried coming here due to the other reviews, but I actually liked the food. I mean, it's a diner. I had an egg sandwich, with grits and bacon on the side. The eggs were a little overcooked, but typical of most American diners. The bacon was booked perfectly, and the grits were pretty delicious except it was cold. The rest of my party had pancakes, French toast, shrimp salad. and shrimp parmesan, and everyone enjoyed their food. The portions are very large, if nothing else.

Maybe it's a bad morning but they aren't prepared for the Christmas rush. Table next to me had a number of smaller children and the one with a peanut allergy they couldn't help with. Limited cereal selection and no milk....wait they had milk but it was frozen. Stay away until you see a good review.

I ordered 3 stuffed flounders to go & discovered 3 orders of potato skins when I got home so I was ready to blast them however they were extremely apologetic & sent us home with complimentary soups, salads, extra sides & desserts to make up for the inconvenience. The flounder was delicious. Accidents happen & they're newly open so I'm sure there are kinks to be worked out but I judge a place more on how they handle the mistake than the actual mistake itself & they get an A+ for customer service in handling an error.

Went there this morning for breakfast. We were greeted and sat at a table fast, our waitress then came to ask what we wanted to drink. I usually ask for hot tea with lemon and half of the time they don't bring the lemon, so when she returned with lemon in tow I was hopeful. Then things went downhill, about five seconds after I ordered she had to get me to repeat myself because she didn't write it down. I ordered the tomato omelet and choose to add Swiss cheese, home fries and toast were included but it was $9, I thought a bit pricey. Hubby ordered an omelet with a side of bacon and asked if the iced tea was sweetened. After hearing yes, he ordered a glass. Then we waited, and waited, our waitress walking by multiple times never acknowledging us. When we finally got our food, she forgot the bacon, had to make a trip back to the kitchen. My omelet was mostly egg, then cheese, then tomato, the tomato being diced in very small pieces. I was not impressed, but could never get the waitress' attention to let her now I was unhappy. Also, I don't know if this is me or not, but the toast came out unbuttered. I would think most people like butter on their toast and if they don't want it they ask for it dry, but since it wasn't that hot anymore, the butter on the table didn't melt very nicely. I decided it was ok, and went about my meal. Hubby's iced tea was unsweetened, not a huge deal, but since she said it was sweetened, he was not as pleased. So we may have been eating relatively fast because we were waiting so long, but by the time she stopped to see if we were ok, my plate was nearly empty. I should have asked for the check then, but I didn't. We then sat waiting. A manager(?) came over to clear our plates, and I asked if he could have our waitress being our check. She returned apologizing, I can only assume because her boss said something to her, and then she proclaimed that she didn't know that the waitresses were supposed to cook their own waffles. What? Isn't that what the cook is for? Maybe that's why she was busier than I thought she should be for the amount if tables she had. So while the quality of the food was fine, it was just a bit pricey for what we got, and the wait staff seemed very uneducated about the menu and was not good with communicating with her customers (Let me go check on your food for you, or I'll be right back with your check). I was hoping the cashier would ask how everything was, but she didn't. Maybe they still have some kinks to work out, or maybe we just got a bad waitress, but either way, they didn't seem concerned if we were pleased, so we won't be going back.

I'm going to say one and done for this place. I was quickly greeted and taken to my table. That was nice but he look more like he should be working in construction than a restaurant. It looks like a fresh coat of paint but the ceiling tiles really need to be replaced. My salad looked like it was sitting in a bowl of water. I'm glad the food is washed but please dry it. Then my lasagne came out and it wasn't what I hoped for. It was hard around the edges a soft on the inside. If I didn't know better I would think it was microwaved. Needless to say I didn't eat my swimming salad or my bookend lasagne but I did Pay my $17 bill.
