This is the same fine cafe that used to be at 3960 Germantown Pike in Collegeville. It has recently moved to a nicer and larger location in Worcester at the corner of Skippack Pike and Valley Forge Rd, and they are now open every day except Monday for B-L-D. It's still BYOB, and the food is even better, with their own unique flourish on almost every dish. This weekend for Brunch I had "Penny Benny", which is Eggs Benedict with perfectly done scrapple instead of Canadian bacon. There are a number of other bennies available too. My wife had her favorite Challah French toast with bourbon sauce - yummy! Everything is made to order, so you may have to wait a little while for your food, but it is worth it! Julene is very pleasant and helpful, and Althea is great in the chef's role. We are so happy to have them move to our neighborhood so we can return more often. I'm also now following them on FB so we can learn about their newest creations. Also look at their reviews at their old location -- still applicable re the food, and you'll like the new location.

Worst service I have ever received. I went here with my mom and we weren't even greeted when walking into the restaurant. I was confused on whether the person approaching was a customer or a worker because he did not give me any sort of greeting gesture. I ordered the chicken parm and my mother got the green heart omelette (I forget if that's the actual name) either way we waited about 40 min for the food. The chicken parm was ok the omelette was so plain and the fruit given to us looked very old as they were soggy. Our waitress barely catered to us and there were only two other tables besides us. Eventually it was just my mom and I at the restaurant and our waitress too 10 min to get us a bottle of ketchup. What other jobs do you have to forget your only table that your serving. Will never go back

The food is absolutely delicious and now that's the positive feedback about this place. What made me really disappointed is the wait time. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out, my sister waited a whole hour for a Caesar wrap and the server didn't even apologize and he was not skilled at all. If there's a reason why I wouldn't go back it would be the customer service and I also don't want to wait an hour for the food to come out without an explained reason.

My fiancé and I went here for Valentine's Day- we have been to the cafe on 4 separate occasions. I want to like this place but the wait time is so long. 30mins between plates- appetizer, entree and dessert. The wait staff has always been nice to us and had good service but the fact that the food takes so long to come out is such a major negative that it is hard to focus on any positives. Again the food itself is good- as long as you don't mind a wait.

We really wanted to like this place!! My fiancé and I have eaten here for breakfast and dinner on about four occasions. Each time the service was mediocre at best and we waited an eternity for our food and for our check at the end. It's such a shame because the food is really good, omelettes and french toast for breakfast and fish and pasta for dinner. Creme brûlée and toffee pudding for dessert were great as well. Just have to schedule about 3 hours for yourself to be there as you'll be waiting a terribly long time for your food. The bathroom was also a bit messy. We have been there in the fall and winter and feel the menu has way too many butternut squash options. Made sense in the fall but seemed like too much in Feb/March. Their Valentine's Day menu didn't offer any chocolate which we found disappointing. You can BYOB which is nice but for the price, the wait time is not worth it!

Went for breakfast. Very good food but very slow service. How long does it take to cook an omelette ? Too long here

I must preface this review with this statement: Something must have been going on behind the scenes. I believe it was 12/11/14. We tried to eat here twice before that date. Closed both times, once it was a bit late, the other time was a mystery - handwritten sign on the door. So, we arrive. Several tables are filled. There is no greeter. After about 6-7 minutes, a patron walks over to us and tells us to just sit down as no one has seen the hostess in a while. At that time, the hostess emerges from the kitchen. She seats us. We wait for what seems eternity to order. While ordering, we are told of no specials and of no soups... which we see coming from the kitchen. Only then were we told about the soups. We ordered both soups, cauliflower and butternut squash. 1 arrived before the other - cream of mushroom... and no, that's just how it was described. The other soup arrived a few minutes later. Both were devoid of flavor and served barely warm. We were brought a tiny bit of bread which was delicious. It looked like scraps from larger pieces, but they were very tasty. At that point, we were 40 minutes into the meal. I could see directly into the kitchen. There was the chef and... no one else. Our concerns grew as it took forever to get our appetizers. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star was the foie gras. It was delicious. As for the Jamaican hot wings... never have I had wings cooked so perfectly with absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Not a grain of salt. There was no sauce served with them. Tasteless, but perfectly cooked - a true shame. If only I had a bottle of Jerk sauce with me. Finally, it was entree time. The risotto was decent. Nothing special at all. Then came the scallops. Well, we certainly found the salt missing from the chicken wings. The scallops were so salty, my only guess was that instead of encrusting them with pepper, or even a bit of flour, they were dredged in salt. They were inedible. We sent them back to the kitchen. They were replaced with scallops about 40% less salty, and still seriously over-salted. All of the deserts were sold out, except an add-on of Bananas Foster. We declined. I want to like this place. I really do. I did inquire as to why they were closed a few nights before our visit. The response let me to believe that the owner(s) and staff were having serious issues. I want to give this place another try, but I am hesitant.

As good as it gets! You cannot go wrong with Greenheart Cafe. I've been there 4 times since they opened. Each dish I try makes me want more and more. Everything is flavorful and delicious. The fresh baked bread is amazing. The shrimp and grits are the best I've had in a very long time. Omlets are great and they serve scrapple! They really care about the food and the people. Fresh takes time, so please be patient. I am glad there is a fresh and affordable option thanks to Greenheart Cafe.

I am rooting for Greenheart Cafe but they have got a long way to go. I visited for lunch and the restaurant was cute and clean. i will say that our server was very pleasant but i would be far more interested in having lunch with her than ever having her serve me lunch again. I was in the restaurant for three hours on a day when I really did not have that much time to sit. During the service there were many problems and a lot of confusion at our table and at the rest of the tables that were occupied. The restaurant was perhaps 1/4 full. There were delays at every step of the way and it took me a full 50 minutes to get out after I requested the check. Our server, while very pleasant, didn't seem to particularly care that people were waiting, getting the wrong food and anxious to leave. The food was good. Actually it was very good but not worthy of that sort of wait. The soup was a bit bland but we liked everything else. I will definitely return and I will increase my rating if the service goes better. I would be wonderful to have a quality restaurant with good food and service in this location.

Heed the reviews. The place had three tables and yet we waited 90 minutes for our food. Good food but it needs to get out of the kitchen.

We ate at the Green Heart Cafe this evening, since this restaurant recently opened close to where we live. The food was excellent. I had the carrot ginger soup followed by salmon in coconut sauce. Outstanding! My husband had the roasted chicken which he also rated as excellent, moist and flavorful. The meal was very reasonably priced, due in some part to the fact that this is a BYOB, Desert (Chocolate Lava Cake) was also excellent. Will definitely return, highly recommend.
