How can you go wrong. Everything is homemade. Roast beef dishes are amazing. Waitress's are always helpful and pleasant.

I live in Phila now. But, The Bull has always been my favorite place in North Wales since 1983. I had several dates with my Bride here , which back then was called "The Bull and Barrel". Every time I am up that way, I go to The Bull. Always Great food & drink. Andrew is a great bartender. My wife and I always love going to The Bull for Dinner or just a few drinks. Love It !

I think you have to know what to expect when you're going here and it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out -- The Bull is sandwiched between a Rita's Water Ice and a Wawa and across from Home Depot. It's not heavy on atmosphere. With that said, for a little neighborhood establishment it's fine. You can get cheap beers (nothing special) and okay bar food in a well-lit, clean place. I wouldn't go way out on a limb when ordering food there -- stick to the very basics. They're wings are surprisingly very, very good -- meaty, saucy, and hot. They also give you a decent sized bowl of blue cheese with them, so there's plenty of room to dip. Try the Australian buffalo wings -- they seem to be unique to the Bull, but they're tasty! We had the fries and they were okay but nothing spectacular. As far as the service goes, it's definitely friendly, but it can be hit or miss if you're sitting in the bar area and it's later. I recommend either sitting at the bar or one of the front tables so that you're seen, remembered, and attended to in a timely manner. The place also has a very heavy smell of frying oil. It's not as bad as it used to be, but you definitely leave with that smell on you. Tempered expectations are key, but it's definitely not a bad place to check out, especially if you're in one of the close-by neighborhoods.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Great "bar/restaurant" with a varied menu of favorites. We usually do lunch here but have had a few good dinners too.

Today was the second time I've been here. I have to say that if I'm invited back here again for lunch, I'm going to recommend another place. The food is bleh. While the service is friendly, it is also bleh. My friend's chicken was drier than a dessert. And my chef salad was cold cut meats from a package and old lettuce. The previous time I ordered the steak salad and the steak was pretty much what you would throw out if served alone.

This place is spectacularly average. Some of the food is okay. Some of the food is eh. But some of the food is awesome. The wings are great. The Chicken Salad Club is incredible. The wait staff is friendly and a bit sarcastic at times. I love that about them. If you are kind, they are kind, funny and helpful. If you're a jerk, they will be unpleasant. As it should be. This is a dive bar that won't scare you kids and grandparents. Don't be so full of yourself. Your not going to get an Iron Chef cooking at Denny's prices. Remove the stick from your rear before you enter or they will keep pushing it to see how deep it will go. I love the Bull!

I believe The Bull fancies itself a bit of a sports bar. They've got the nice flat TVs right behind the bar for easy viewing and a grill for frying up the cheese steaks is only an arms reach away. Somewhere along the way though, they have missed the mark and seem to struggle between being a sports bar and a restaurant. After all, there are ample table in the front section awaiting patrons, but most seem to want to nestle in back or belly right up to the bar. The prices are right and the food quality about mediocre, all in all not a bad joint to grab a beer and sandwich. I just don't think anyone really goes here for any type of real dining experience.

This place is a dump and need to be renovated... AGAIN... If you enjoy eating in the same room that your food is cooked (before the smoking ban, this was a bigger issue) this is the place for you... Not well lit and food is average at best...

Great local tavern. I have come here for dinner with my family and just to hang out and have a few drinks. Nice atmosphere, great service and good drinks! The food ranges from your typical tavern type fare..burgers, fries to your not so typical like prime rib. Overall a cool place to hang out, watch a game and grab a quick bite.

A tavern located near the 5 points intersection. A very casual atmosphere, with a few TVs, a full bar and various tables. A bit dated, with very good service. The food is similar to any other pub food, good but not great. Did not have any deserts, but have heard they are quite good. Would not go out of my way to go here, but if in the area might eat there again, as it is not as busy as other places.

The Bull to me is your typical 'towny' resturant/bar. I've been there many times, but am never really impressed with the food; which is kind of bland. They really don't have any signature dishes or memorable flavors worthy of me wanting to come back. And since they don't change their menu that often, that is expected. As far as the bar goes, it mainly attracts the older crowd, and thus mainly stocks only your tasteless beer such as miller, Coors, etc aside from the standard Yuengling. However if your looking for just some simple food and a beer, this is your place to go. Prices are reasonable and staff is standard.

The Bull USED to be a great place but since they downscaled (WAY down) their menu, they seemed to have also down-scaled their quality. The last few times there, the only thing that was good was the french fries. It definitely needs a revival.

The Bull Restaurant & Tavern is an excellent place to have dinner. I've been here with family several times. Parking is easy, the venue is roomy, inexpensive, and informal, and their service is consistently friendly. Their menu is solid and varied, with tasty pasta and seafood choices. For some reason I had thought they were called the Bull & Barrel, but perhaps that's an alias or old name. In any case, if you're interested in trying them out, find this place across the street from the Water Tower Square shopping center (there's a Home Depot there).

The food was pretty good and the service was good. The burger was delicious but I did not like the "build your own burger" being the only option. Usually you can get a burger someplace with certain toppings included in the price for that burger type rather than having to decide on specifics and paying extra the more toppings you want. Build a burger is a good menu option but would rather it not be the only burge option.

This is a great Tavern Restaurant. They have excellent hot sandwiches and burgers. I had the grilled pastrami last night and it was excellent. Itt is not trendy, but it is a good casual tavern to grab a quick dinner for a very reasonable price.

The Bull! Great place for a cheeseburger. Bartender is real throwback, probably been there for 20 years. Reminds me of some places my dad and I used to go. Not real fancy or trendy by any means but worth a trip. Good solid little spot with atmosphere that reminds me of home.
