Chipotle food is quality, the concept is great, the price point is good. Anticipate a wait here and at probably any location. I eat here at least once a week. When dealing with the general public, and creating a customer order each time, there will always be delays. This location has some great employees and they are for the most part very friendly. This location could be a little cleaner, the staff's emphasis is definitely on prepping and serving food. The dining area can get a little rough. Overall, if you are looking for a casual place to go, want good portions, for a good price, Chipotle is a good option.

This recently opened location is directly across the street from Chick-Fil-A in Monroeville. The menu is pretty simple and basic. You choose from one of the following, either a burrito, burrito bowl, three crispy tacos, three soft tacos or a salad. For ingredients you can choose from the following: Grilled Chicken or Grilled Steak (both marinated in smoky chipotle chili adobo.), Barbacoa (spicy, shredded beef, braised with chipotle chilies, garlic, oregano, cumin, and cloves.) Carnitas (pork braised with thyme, bay, juniper berries and cracked black pepper.) Fajita Vegetables(Bell peppers and sweet red onion sautéed with fresh oregano.) Four different salsas: Fresh Tomato Salsa (Mild) (Diced tomatoes with sweet red onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and fresh lemon and lime. Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa (Medium) (Sweet white corn, roasted poblano peppers, sweet red onions, jalapeño, cilantro, and fresh lemon and lime.) Tomatillo Green Chili Salsa (Medium) (Fire-roasted tomatillos, tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, sweet red onion, cilantro, garlic, cumin and oregano.) Tomatillo-Red Chili Salsa (Hot) (Chile de arbol, tomatillo, garlic, cumin and Tabasco sauce. Pinto beans, Black beans, Cilantro Lime Rice, White Cheddar and Jack Cheese, Guacamole, Lettuce, Sour Cream . They also offer chips & guacamole and a kid's menu as well. My go to is the steak burrito with black beans, fajita veges, roasted chili corn salsa, lettuce, cilantro lime rice and cheese. It was spectacular. My wife likes the barbacoa burrito and our daughter loves the steak tacos. Yes the line can be long at times but, it goes fast. I'm so happy to now have a Chipotle so close to home!

Dirty. You would expect the same standard at all Chipotle but this one (my first time here) was dirty. Even when I pulled into the parking lot I noticed cans, cup lids, and trash all around. It was a beautiful day...someone should be cleaning that up. As I stood in line I noticed the dirty and greasy grill and food spilled around their work station as they slid my tin foil and food through it. Why I didn't get out of line at this point...I don't know...late lunch... hungry and little time. The side of chips in the bag were a tiny amount and the side of guacamole had 2 very large chunks...not sure how it fit in that tiny container but it was not mixed like it should have been. Servers were friendly enough but their aprons stained and dirty. Floors were Ao noticeably dirty. It was not crowded when I arrived so I don't get why this place was neglected. Perhaps no manager on duty would be my guess. My burrito was okay...Just seemed like the ingredients were not spread out correctly and I got quite a few bites of just rice, just beans etc. I like Chipotle but this one is a mess.

Normally I don't review fast food restaurants, but I just felt I had to because of the one star review. I've been to at least 5 different Chipotle locations and this one is just as good as the others. I've never had a problem with the staff. They're polite enough...you only encounter each person for a maximum of thirty seconds, what exactly are you looking for?? They are quick too, even with a long line it moves quickly, actually a lot more quickly than other locations I've been to. I give this location an A.

I've always taken Chipotle for granted until I moved to Monroeville. Just know, if you decide on having Chipotle, be prepared for a 30 minute wait in line unless you order your food online. Recently we placed a dinner order for 2 people, and was notified per the website that it would be ready in an hour. I get there 15 minutes earlier to pick up the food because my husband tells me they never take the full hour to prepare the order. When I get there, I was told my order was not ready. I had to wait another 20 minutes before my order was handed to me. I did receive 2 coupons so it wasn't a total waste of my time. I really make an effort to try not to go to this Chipotle, the line here is just too long. If you think about it, it's a fast food restaurant, and no one should have to wait 30 minutes to get their food.

I don't usually review chains, but this particular store seems out of character. The ingredients of Chipotle seem more fresh and of higher quality than the other Mexican chains. However, this particular store is super dirty. They need to clean off the tables on a more regular basis. I can't stress enough that this place is filthy.

Typical chipotle. As noted in other reviews, there is something wrong with this particular location. Why is it dirty? You can tell even before entering that the place is not cared for properly. Parking lot has a good share of litter, outside patio area is never set up, and Why is the counter service slow?? The concept is fast food that is easy to assemble. Unfortunately it doesn't work well here. Too bad. It's a prime location that could potentially draw a crowd. Hopefully there is a management team that could help?

Very impressed with the service of this specific Chipotle. I went here for lunch on a Sunday and the line was incredibly long. So long in fact that it was difficult to get into the door and to squeeze my way to the back of the line. I was pleased and surprised that when it was my turn to order, all of the employees greeted me with a smile despite the chaos. The employees were focused on me during my turn and seemed to work very well as a team. The food was exactly what I expected and was fresh. Even though I ordered my food to go, I noticed that there was more than enough seating available if one wanted to stay and eat. Also, the dining area was kept clean which was also surprising considering how busy it was. This chipotle always seems to have a long line, which is why I've avoiding going to so long. However, I will definitely return after this pleasant experience.

Love Chipotle and eat there frequently. This store is very small, limited parking. Came today for a late lunch and the store looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week. Food all over the serving line, couldn't set my drink down at fountain area and tables were all very dirty. Won't be returning to this location.

I love Chipotle. Withh that said, this location must be run by slobs. FILTHY! Food was fairly good, but cold. Hope I dont get sick! We were the first ones in after the opened and the floors and tables were very dirty. I am not one to complain about dirty restaurants but this was a little overboard.

The place is bad compared to the Greensburg store they have a long long way to go.. Customer service was bad employees just didn't seem to care. They should be trained by the Greensburg staff.

Chipotle is one of my favorite restaurant chains! Can't beat it anywhere! That being said, this one is bad. Current employees are slow and focus more on socializing/joking around with coworkers than getting people through the line. Should've gone to the Chick-fil-a across the street. Won't be coming to this Chipotle again unless I'm desperate. Very disappointing

Horrible chain of this restaurant! The staff doesn't care the food is always cold and it just doesn't taste how Chipotle should taste!

I love Chipotle and try to visit a new restaurant whenever I travel. This particular location is a lot larger than I'm used to. I ordered a burrito bowl and my wife ordered the salad. Both tasted excellent. My only concern is with the employees. They did not work well together and frankly didn't seem to want to be there. Most of them appeared lazy. Management needs to step in and increase the speed process but there was no manager in sight. Also, have someone constantly cleaning the tables. While this Chipotle moved slower than most, the quality of food, taste, and freshness cannot be matched my any other fast food restaurant. Prices continue to be cheap!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
