The hoagies are great here. Freshly made, quick service, but only when you can get it. I have gone in or called several times to order a hoagie and they were out of rolls. Huh?! That's would be like going into a copy service and they were out of paper. A few people told me about this and when it happened to me twice I couldn't believe it. So call and get lucky! If you they have it, you are in for a treat.

I ordered a wrap for delivery and it was drenched in oil. My co-workers and I were amazed at how much oil was used... it was like they dunked the whole thing in a vat of oil before wrapping it up. I held it up and oil was just pouring out of the wrap. I took a few bites and threw the rest out. I will not be returning.

Hands down my favorite hoagies in Media! I can't say that I've exhausted every option on their menu - when it comes to hoagies I have a tried and true favorite and I very rarely deviate - but for me the roast beef diablo will keep me coming back again and again. The ingredients are fresh and burst with flavor and the rolls, the most important part of any sandwich, provide a great foundation. I definitely recommend getting a medium (primo size) or above to ensure your roll has seeds! My only gripe is that I can't get bacon on my hoagie. I'm sure my cholesterol level is happy with that, but to me it's a cardinal sin of the hoagie shop world.

Ok, so I had to try this Primos again, because everyone's entitled to a bad day/delivery/sandwich once in a while. Maybe they were mad at my ordering skills last time, maybe they were rushing to get out the door and the last thing they wanted was to do a delivery, whatever the reason, I am ready to forgive and redeem. I very much enjoyed that they were opened on a post blizzard day, with a clean and welcoming establishment (of which I missed out on before). The gentleman behind the counter was very nice, and our sandwiches were just what I was hoping for.

Not impressive for the price. Had practically no broccoli rabe on my sandwich and it look as if it was prepared in a rush. For the price it was a very stingy sandwich

Probably the best hoagies in Media but, still not the best in the area. They use good quality meats and the bread it is served on is fantastic. This is a great place to go for a pricey authentic Italian hoagie. Side not there chicken cutlet sandwich is also very good.

Good Italian hoagies. The buffalo cutlet is really good too, and you can get it in a low carb wrap. Service has always been good, and there is usually plenty of parking.

I ordered a veggie hoagie (eggplant, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers) for a flight. It was tasty but maybe it has been sitting around for too long but it was way too oily. My god. What a mess to try and eat on a plane! There was a hot chilli in it too which I ultimately had to remove because it was way too spicy. So so hoagie. I was disappointed.

It would be nice if these girls making the hoagies knew the difference between imported ham and prosciutto. Worst hoagie from Primo Hoagies. I've been a fan for a very long time and this was the worst I've experienced. Barely any meat, also. Very disappointed. Thank goodness $5 of what was spent was from a gift card.

So many choices! Awesome, quality hoagies! Friendly, quick, patient service! My one caveat: it seems a bit overpriced, when you could go down to a local bodega and grab a hoagie of similar quality for maybe $5. They all have a harder roll covered in sesame seeds that's definitely hardier than the average hoagie, and is packed to maximum capacity. Worth trying at least once, and, if you don't mind spending a bit more, several times.

mmm... Primo Hoagies. I love their hoagies. Good quality meat, and delicious crusty bread. It's not particularly cheap, but it's good. I'm always in the mood for a hoagie from Primo.

A little pricy, but I would rather spend $7.00 on a good hoagie than $4.00 on low quality one. The selection is huge and they are very good. There is definitely some fall out from Groupons because when you walk in, there is a big sign displayed on the window saying something about not honoring Groupons or something to that effect. Anyway, it is a good sandwich. You get what you pay for. I have phoned in several orders over the last year and they have not screwed up any.

If you want a good hoagie loaded with meat and great bread this is a great place. Friendly staff. A little more expensive but you get what you pay for. I recommend anything diablo

Just as a few others in the comments had issues with their Groupon, so did I. I'm going to paste part of what I wrote in complaint to Primo's corporate feedback. I think it explains enough to get my point across. In addition, my sandwich also was lacking in the quantity of meat compared to the normal Primo hoagie. There are too many Primo locations around at this point to justify giving this owner your hard earned money. First of all, I drove out of my way to go to the Media location this past week. I walked in behind another customer who wanted to order and listened as he was told by the man behind the counter (who turned out to be the owner Bill Essick) that they were out of everything. Mr. Essick told the customer everyone waited until the last week to use their Groupons and then asked why this customer waited so long. Every comment he made had a very nasty tone to it. The customer responded by saying he would have come Sunday but the store was already closed. Hearing all this, I turned around and left with intent to return the following day after ordering ahead. This is what I did, phoning in my order and arriving to pick it up. When I arrived, Mr. Essick was once again at the counter. I tried to make some light conversation regarding his experience with the Groupons, of which he exclaimed he would never do again. Knowing that my sandwiches would not come to the full amount of the $20 Groupon, I set a container of mozzarella balls on the counter to be rung up too. He rung up my sandwiches and took the Groupon, which he then tore up and threw out. He then said to me, "Just give me $5 for the mozzarella." These were priced at $5.69 and he did not ring them up with the sandwiches. At that point I was a bit surprised and asked how much my sandwiches were. He looked and said $17.79 but that the Groupon was only good for hoagies and it said so on the offer. I asked to see it, so he handed me one from someone else (which was exactly like mine except for the number). I told him it said no such thing on the offer and that I've used them at other locations with no limitations. He excalimed, "It says it's only good for hoagies and that it says Primos Hoagies - Media." I then asked him what the name of the location was and he said, "Primos Hoagies - Media." I said exactly, it states the name of the business and nowhere does it say it's only good for hoagies. The entire time he was very confrontational and arrogant. I mentioned it probably wasn't a good idea to try this tactic with some of his customers in that area as Media full of lawyers being the Delaware County Courthouse is down the street. He said they could go ahead and sue him. After several minutes of going back and forth he finally just told me to give him $3 for the mozzarella, which I did. He then asked rather snidely if I was happy now. I responded by telling him I'm now satisfied that he fulfilled the expected obligation but no, I wasn't happy and that if I were in the area I would certainly make a point of not returning to his location. He just grinned, wiped his hand on his apron, and offered it to me to shake. Being polite, I did so, turned around and walked out in disbelief. It's difficult to express the attitude I dealt with in writing, so let's just say having vast work experience in customer service oriented positions, this will go down as one of the worst experiences I've had, particularly with the actual business owner.
