Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

We didn't care for the food. I got the beef brisket and meat balls pho. The place was clean and the waitress was very friendly. If you like pho, maybe you'll like it.

Best Pho in Harrisburg! For a while now I have been searching for a restaurant with great pho, this is the place! Amazing flavor, fresh ingredients, fun atmosphere, great service and the portions are fantastic. Highly recommend Pho7Spice!!

The decor is trendy and the place is clean. I took my family for a good pho noodle lunch yesterday on Thanksgiving Day. It was a holiday so it was slow - only 2 tables were being waited while we were there. But we were a bit frustrated when it took a good 20-25 minutes before our ordered food were served. The pho was great, soup was tasty and just right; however, the beef slices, tendons, and tripes were all too tough and overcooked. But the staff was very friendly which made up some of the negatives. We've been here once before and the wait was short and the meats were good. I am also very grateful to have a decent pho place nearby. I give it a generous 4 stars.

The staff was extremely friendly. The pho was good but contains MSG. There is nothing on the menu that states this and the waitress did not advise us of same. I had a reaction and that was the end of my meal. Left hungry. They were very nice and tried to take it off the check.

What a cute place! We stopped in on our way back to Philly from Pittsburgh and this beautiful restaurant had amazing service and delicious, satisfying food. Clean, elegant decor and friendly, polite waitresses. The spring rolls, bun and pho are all excellent and beautifully prepared. The pho is aromatic and hearty at the same time. Great options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike!

Love Pho7Spice. Broth has a depth of flavor and authenticity not present in other local pho places. Very friendly and helpful staff. Can omit cilantro if it's not to your liking. Pho dishes are gluten free.

I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is crisp & minimal. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The menu is limited. Strictly Pho & egg rolls, though they have a couple of additional specials. I opted for the only vegetarian item -- the vegetarian Pho. Ordered the large and it was huge! Super fresh and flavorful. Tofu was thinly sliced & cooked to perfection. Though not on the menu, they rolled us some vegetarian spring rolls which were also very delicious. Excellent find. I will go back again and again.

Was on business trip in area and saw favorable reviews. Went with a friend and shared the spring rolls and had the mixed seafood and meat soups. WOW! The rolls were great. The soups were outstanding. Deep rich broths in both soups along with a good portions of meat and fish treats. We both kicked our soups up with their house hot sauce, lemon basil and bamboo shoots. Great value for the dollar and strongly concur with the $$ rating. Went on a slow weekday night so the service was great. We both put this place in our bookmarked restaurants so we can visit it again when we're in the area. Nice Job Pho 7.

A limited menu, but delicious food at a good price. I will definitely be a regular. They also have macaroons for dessert which I love!

Great spot for quality pho! Broth was rich and flavorful, really enjoyed the house special pho. The location is easy to miss as you drive along the Carlisle Pike, but the inside of the place has a classy vibe and service was excellent. They do specialize in pho but I was told they'll likely be rolling out weekly specials soon which could include banh mi! Prices are extremely affordable, I'll definitely be back.

Five Star all-around! From the minute you walk in it is perfect. Didn't expect much from the strip plaza frontage but walking in was being transported to a hip, classy NY-style Vietnamese restaurant with beautiful, welcoming decor, absolutely amazing service and great food. Came with the fiancée who had never had Vietnamese cuisine and the intro was spot on. Our server was welcoming, cheerful, talked us through the menu and recommended great choices. The appetizers were perfectly cooked and the soups were excellent. I must say this was my best dining experience in the HBG area to date. Absolutely will be back.

Delicious food. I go for the Vermicelli salad with grilled chicken. Light but filling. Try the jasmine ice tea. Very refreshing. Nice decor once you get past the mirrors windows on the outside.

So excited about Vietnamese being available in Mechanicsburg! Vietnamese is my favorite cuisine and everything we have had at Pho 7 Spice has been excellent. The Pho was very good and so was the Bun special. Can't wait til they have a full selection of Bun. The atmosphere is fantastic (unlike, say, Ninh Kieu, on the east shore, where the food is great but the atmosphere is quite bad)! The wait staff was fantastic and food came out in about 3-4 minutes... no exaggeration. Our new favorite Mechanicsburg eatery!

This place is deceiving. From the outside it looks boring or cheap but don't let that fool you! Inside it's very clean and organized casual fare. All of the soups are amazing and so are the spring rolls and shrimp rolls. The sweet sauce the shrimp rolls come with is so good. They give you fresh herbs for the soup and the staff is very courteous. I definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful, modern decor mixed with smiling, friendly service, and authentic tastes of Vietnam - how could I not give this place anything less than 5 stars! I was very impressed with Pho7 overall and would highly recommend it to everyone looking to choose from the many Viet places in the area. I ate at 3 Viet places while on vacation at Hershey Park and this was hands-down the very best. Wow.

Very, very good Pho. They brought a chef from Pho 75, an amazing chain of Pho places down near Washington DC - a favorite of ours. The spring rolls are awesome, and all of the soups are really, really good. The chicken Pho is surprisingly good, and its a great value for the large or small sizes. LOVE IT!

Service was very friendly, nice neat decor, very modern. Soup was hard to eat however, veggies were not cut up and the bowl was too small to mix the toppings into the broth and stir noodles together. There weren't many options for vegetarian friends and they did not enjoy the flavor of their soup, ginger was the only detectable spice, chicken soup was very tasty but has trouble eating with the huge veggies over flowing in my bowl. Could use a little more chopping and a little more cooking. Not my favorite pho.

Clean and modern looking on the inside. Got an order of seafood pho. Great broth, good amount of seafood, overall delicious....plus hangover was instantly cured. The servers there were all super friendly also. Can't wait to go back.

I was very excited to finally have a vietnamese restaurant on the West Shore. I gave this restaurant 2 tries before deciding it's best for me to just make the drive to Garden on the East Shore. My favorite foods are spring rolls and rare beef pho. The peanut sauce is just too runny and seems thinned out. The spring rolls themselves are ok. My soup was just ok. The broth didn't have any flavor to it. I guess if you've never had vietnamese food before Pho 7 Spice would suffice. But I'd rather have the best vietnamese food I can by simply driving a little further.

This place is awesome! My husband and I went there last night for our anniversary. The food was fantastic. My husband had the Pho 7 spice special and I had the seafood Pho. And then we split an order of Bun just so we could try it. Everything was delicious. The decor is clean and modern. And our server, Mary was phenomenal. She took her time and explained everything to us. In fact everyone there was helpful and very nice. We will definitely be back.

Pho 7 Spice has only been open a few weeks, and I've been there twice with my husband. The spring rolls are fresh and delicious. You can order the Pho in a variety of ways. So far I have tried the sugar cane drink, my husband the salty lemonade and I've also tried the coconut drink. The items that accompany the pho (bean sprouts, basil, jalapeno and lime) are nicely served and fresh. The place is brand new and nicely decorated. Service is really good, very personable. Hoping to go back this week with some friends.

Awesome place! The atmosphere is great and the staff is really nice! Everything is clean and the service was excellent. The Pho is probably the best I've had around the area. I plan on stopping here for lunch and dinner in the future!

this place is bangin! awesome food and a tremendous staff and friendly owners. sweet ice coffees mmmm mmmm. thankfully very close to my primary residence. i will be eating there again without my friend lee who is being an a**hole while im typing this. ok nows hes reading and laffing but the damage is done. lee stay away from this place. i promise ill never show you where this is. trust me people i am doing you all a huge favor. this place has excellent wifi for your internetz, wicked awesome broth !! no reason to go to miss saigon2 this establishment sets the bar for high quality goodness all the way around. the largest group i saw while i was there was a family of eight and the kids were remarkably under control! well done mom and dad! i wouldnt normally say this type of place is kid friendly but if the little monsters are kept on a short leash, then i'm sure we can all enjoy the food with friends and family sharing the space.

Definitely a must try place! After a day of work, errands, and other assorted errata, I was starving. I had heard of a few of new pho places opening on the Mechanicsburg/Carlisle area, and did a quick check of the reviews. This one was the clear winner. Located in the Hampton Shopping Center behind Five Guys, parking is plentiful and accessible. Do not let the strip mall's aging facade fool you. Once you step in, it is tastefully appointed and contemporary. They get extra points for having a foyer so you do not receive a blast of whatever the ambient air temperature is outside any time the door opens. Seating is spacious and each person has sufficient room. Noise level was relatively quiet, but their were only a handful of folks there, but people were coming and going, and take out business appeared brisk. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I was seated immediately, and my summer rolls came out almost immediately, followed very shortly buy my large bowl of seafood pho. Service was definitely on a team type of philosophy, and was excellent. The summer rolls were fresh, and the peanut sauce was perfect. I also was impressed with the seafood pho, it was amazing. The best pho I have had since my last trip to NYC or Seattle. I understand that they had a soft opening, and they will do a hard roll out soon. They will also be expanding the menu before long. Go and give it a try. You will not be disappointed if you have the experience I did, and from the reviews it seems that depth of food quality and service is level. I did see a minor carp about price. I had a large seafood pho, summer rolls, and a water and my meal was under $16. Can you get it cheaper somewhere else? Yes. Will you have the service, the crisp location, and the quality? NO. Another case of 'you get what you pay for'.

Food & service were exceptional! The spring rolls were some of the best I've ever had and the egg roll Bun was delicious! My husband had the small Pho Special and even a small was a lot for him. We will be frequent visitors to Pho7Spice!

PHO spice seven, well done! For a small place you've really done extremely well placing the tables and having the layout efficient. My family enjoyed our meal it was very competitive and equal to that of other Vietnamese restaurants that we've eaten in the big cities. Service is good, keep the water coming, and good that you accept credit cards as some enemies restaurants do not. Especially noodle houses. I strongly suggest you carry Bun Bou Whe (spelling) not sure of the spelling? But more of the traditional Vietnamese foods. I think there's a market for it in Mechanicsburg. Five out of five!

This place is one of the best Vietnamese style restaurants in Pennsylvania the soups spring rolls and vermicelli are all delicious. The style of the ace is ber modern and the service is great if your in town with a empty belly check this place out!

  • Christina L.

Ok so I've given this place one more chance, but it will be the last time. There just isn't any flavor to their broth. None, it's too bad because it's clean and the folks tgere are nice but I'll just stick to The Garden or the broad street market when I need my Pho phix!

Loved the sugar cane shrimp! The coconut smoothie and avocado smoothies were good by filling. Phobia great you can really taste the spice. Very generous meat servings. Great service and nice decor!

I was excited to try a new pho place in town. All I have to say that it was a FAIL!. The pho wasn't great compare to other viet places in Harrisburg. The quantity was less for the price. I didn't mind paying the price but the noodles were real thin. I won't be coming back here.

  • Amy G.

Food was good. Service was horrible. Menu is limited. I'll try again after they expand their menu. Until then they don't get more than three stars because there are better options in the area with much better service. I thought the flavor of the pho was good but not as fabulous as some people seem to think.

  • Gbrg L.

Not quite as tasty as pho restaurants in East Hartford, CT, which has the best pho that I have found, but Pho 7 Spice has a very nice decor, friendly staff, very good pho tai. At minimum, the spring rolls and pho are at least as good as those found on the east shore, saving me time and gas. I hope that the business does well.

Friendly staff and amazing food. Appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts were all fantastic. This is the first Vietnamese restaurant I've tried, and I'm looking forward to returning and trying more dishes I've never had.

I'm so full I almost can't write this review. This place is a find. The meat is fresh very large cuts and the noodles are very fresh and soft. The broth is fragrant a little salty but not too salty. They make their own fish sauce which actually has a very nice taste when you add everything else. I would highly recommend this if you're from the area.

  • Maritza I.

Pleasantly surprised! Inside very welcoming, modern decor. I've visited twice, I'm addicted to pho and couldn't wait for opening day! I've enjoyed the pho each time even more the second time around. Spring rolls delicious and dipping peanut sauce very tasty. I thought prices were a little high compared to Harrisburg pricing but quality is definitely there and atmosphere is an added bonus. I'm just thrilled this place is conveniently located just around the corner from my house. We needed this on the West Shore and I'm sure ill be back often.

  • Steve T.

Went there on yelp search after furniture shop. I saw great reviews so was hoping it was good. The broth felt like a standard beef broth and now so much a "pho" broth. They were light on the noodles. Over all wasn't too impressed. See my other reviews of countless pho places. Waiter was friendly.

Gotta update to five stars, because this place continues to impress. I now consider myself a "regular" here, and I haven't been let down once by service or food quality - a rare thing, indeed. Great job, Pho 7! The Harrisburg area is truly lucky to have a spot like yours in our midst.

Very comparable to Vietnamese food that I ate in Vietnam, circa '97-'99. Definitely worth the drive from Carlisle.

Had some absolutely wonderful Pho and spring rolls here at Pho 7 Spice. All the food was freshly prepared and delicious. We will return next time we're in the area (we live in California). This Vietnamese restaurant ranks up there with the best in California I must also say that I've never seen a cleaner restaurant! Everything was sparkling and new. Even the spouts on the Siricha bottles were totally spotless!

A solid new(ish) addition to the local dining scene. Pho means soup. Who knew. They focus on Vietnamese pho filled with noodles and meat and broth. Yummy and if you don't make a mess Fyre says you are doing it the wrong way.

Delicious, modern, spacious place. Small portions for appetizers but huge portion for vermicelli. A bit expensive but good.

I'm from Nee York City and I've had Pho noodles in many different places. I have to say it's one of the best Pho I've had. The service was very good and the place was very clean.

Very good pho!! I ordered the p3 and it was very delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and everything was very clean (unlike most vietnamese restaurants). Ordered spring rolls and the peanut sauce was perfect! For desert i tried some macaroons and they were the best i've ever had! I will definitely be back!

  • Jennifer M. K.

Great find! Stopped in on my way passing through the area, and I'm so happy I did! I had the vegetarian pho and it was excellent. Broth was flavorful but not overpowering (just the right amount of anise and spices), the vegetables included were so fresh and just a little crispy (no mushy soggy veggies here!) And the tofu was flavored well and cooked crispy on the outside. One of the best bowls of pho I've had and I will definitely return when I am back in the area!

Tastiest Vietnamese food in the area, hands down. The service is superb and the pho as well as the bun dishes are excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a flavorful, reasonably priced Vietnamese meal.

  • Andy Z.

Excellent Pho! Fresh ingredients! I love this place. My only wish is that they had fountain sodas vs paying by the can. The large Pho for only $1 more than the small is a great deal. Definitely the best Pho I have found in the area.

Pho7 is just...awesome. I was introduced to pho a few years ago, and since then I have been to a number of Vietnamese restaurants. Someone took me to a "new pho place" near my house, and I wasn't really excited...until I walked inside. The outside isn't really much to see...but inside it looks so clean, fresh, and modern that it took me a second to remember it was a Vietnamese joint. I was happy with the decor and design of the restaurant. On to the pho. I ordered the "rare beef and brisket" pho, a large order, and a Vietnamese coffee. The pho came out, and looked beautiful! I was so happy to see such a nice display of colors and freshness. Then the aroma hit me. Wow! Smelled like I was in heaven. For that minute, I was in pure bliss. If you don't get to smell this pho, you have no idea what you're missing. I dug in, and let me tell you, the broth was exceptional. So good, my mouth is drooling onto my shirt just mentioning it. Seriously. The beef was tender, no gristle, easily chewed, with a good beefy taste. I asked for extra cilantro, which in my opinion, topped the whole dish off! 10/10 The iced coffee was not too sweet, with a perfect intensity to it. My only complaint was that I wanted another, and could probably drink 5 of those! I could talk for a long while about this place, but I am now wondering instead when the next time I will be visiting pho7. Not soon enough I can say that for a fact!

Love this place! Went there for lunch. I ordered a refreshing coconut drink with pieces of real coconut! Then a shrimp spring roll app. Then a chicken dish with rice and salad on the side! Delicious!

After spending a day skiing at Roundtop, my family decided to end the day with some pho. Yelped nearby pho restaurants and decided on this one based on the 5 star reviews. I don't get where these 5 star reviews come from, but this place was NOT that great. First, the service was poor. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was 75% full. There were only two servers, and it took over 15 minutes for someone to get our order--in fact, the owner had to get our order since the servers were slacking. The food arrived quickly, but the broth wasn't very tasty. It had a beefy taste, but was relatively diluted. The meat was tender, but the tendons I requested were very fatty! It was so fatty that it absorbed into my broth and made the soup taste more unappealing. To top off my experience, they forgot to serve my appetizer. I requested spring rolls, and the server never brought them. When I got my check, they still charged me for the spring rolls! I had them correct it. Overall, the service and food was poor and unimpressive. If you're wowed by this pho, your palate is seriously lacking in diversity.

My current favorite pho spot. Always a great bowl of soup. Spring rolls are great as well! Always get excellent service as well from the staff.

When's the last time you left a restaurant after a meal feeling fantastic about every single aspect of the experience? My daughter and I were floating on Cloud 9 after a wonderful meal at Pho 7 Spice. As we walked into the lovely space, great clean design, relaxed, open and contemporary, we were greated by a friendly guy with a huge smile who promptly seated us. And, the smiles from the staff, the friendliness and warmth never ended. As explained, they are still in their "soft opening" phase, but, from ordering and assistance with our selections, our scrumptious food, and stellar service, there is nothing soft about the experience. We started with the spring rolls, which were large, fresh and full of shrimp, noodles and fresh veggies. The dipping sauce was peanut-based and lick-the-bowl good. My daughter had the chicken-broth-based pho, while I had the Number 7, an incredible melange of shaved flank and brisket that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. We were given a plate containing bean sprouts, jalapeño slices and a large sprig of Thai basil and were reminded we could have more if we desired. The broth was rich and steaming, the noodles perfectly cooked. We both ordered small bowls, but still ended up taking some home for lunch the next day. The wait staff was attentive, this is a family restaurant, and so incredibly wonderful and the perfect compliment to a fantastic meal. The next time we will try the noodle entrees, they looked yummy. We were told that the menu will expand when they have staff to do so, they are more concerned now with providing an excellent product and great service. While we were there they had a brisk take-out business. So, if you are looking for an entirely wonderful dining experience, please stop into Pho 7 Spice. I am a very picky reviewer, and have eaten out a lot, but, when my son gets home from college this weekend, guess where we're going? No more farmer's market pho for us!

I ordered a bowl of vegetable pho and a bowl of chicken pho to go today. I came home, reheated them both, and enjoyed some fresh and delicious pho. I look forward to going back and dining in - - where they may very well earn the 5th star.

I HIGHLY recommend Pho7Spice. The broth is fantastic (with the chicken and vegetarian broths being just as rich as the beef), the veggies are always super fresh, the cuts of meat are top notch, and the customer service is outstanding. The owners and chefs are very friendly and helpful. Pho7Spice is close to where Color Me Mine used to be (I'm not sure the exact placement of the suites) and right next to New Forest Chinese Buffet.

We skipped our typical breakfast and came to Pho7Spice instead. They open at 10am :) We had some delicious spring rolls with peanut sauce, a sugar cane drink, jasmine tea, and pho. The sugar cane drink was great and something new to us. The pho was also great. The beef broth was very aromatic with a complexity that was enjoyable by itself. We had lean brisket, rare beef, and flank steak. Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, and limes were provided. Check it out, you won't be sorry! We'll be back!

Awesome little place! The service is fast, friendly, and accommodating. The food was delicious and fresh. The environment was very clean and peaceful. We've been here twice now since they opened and haven't been disappointed. They're fairly new to the area, but if they keep up the quality, they'll be a favorite.

  • Juliet S.

This place is awesome. The pho is the best we've had in this area and rivals pho in NYC (where we are from originally). We've always had to go to the east shore to get good Vietnamese and now we're ecstatic that this place is just around the corner from where we live. The pho was very flavorful and the bowls were large (pricing is very reasonable). In addition, we have a child with a very serious peanut allergy. We asked that peanuts be withheld from everything and they were extremely careful and told us they prepared our food separately. The service was outstanding and the waitress checked on us often. Apparently they had a soft grand opening and they will have a full grand opening later. The Manager says they plan to add to the menu with bun and ban mi dishes later. Can't wait.

I had never had Vietnamese food before so I wanted to try this place out. Needless to say I was not a huge fan but the service was good and the food was not bad. Worth trying but I won't go back.

Went to this wonderful place as soon as they opened at 10am on Sunday 03/08. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess who doubled as my server. I had shared with her that this would be my 2nd pho experience and she offered helpful suggestions as to what to order. I had the spring rolls and seafood pho which were both delicious. Coconut drink was also refreshing. I will be going back very soon.

Great pho. Out of all the Vietnamese restaurants that we've been to around Philadelphia and Harrisburg this is the best. We also like that they offer the pho in two different sizes.

My family and I have no problem traveling for some good food. Pho 7 Spice is about 45 minutes away from us, we love good food, and we especially love pho. My 21 month old baby loved it, he kept grabbing my hand to feed him more, I couldn't feed him fast enough! So you know it was delicious! We pretty much slurped up our bowls, which is a compliment to the chef. Also enjoyed the fresh limeade, and iced coffee : ) We loved the inside décor, we appreciated how clean the place was, especially the bathroom...I've been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants, where the bathroom makes you not hungry anymore, this place was so nice and clean. Staff was super nice too, which made our experience a positive one. Congratulations on opening a great place!

Okay, let me first admit that after living on the west coast for years, I am a pho snob. Now that we have that out of the way this place is good. I mean really good, and not just good for the area. I mean could compete on the west coast good. We had been meaning to check this place out for months but kept forgetting about it since its tucked way back in the shopping center. So we finally went a few weeks ago. The inside is deceptively nice compared to the storefront and the staff was super friendly, but most importantly, the pho was delicious! I always order pho ga and honestly the small is more than plenty. Be sure to ask for the house made hot sauce if you like it a little spicy. It really kicks it up a notch. Needless to say we've been back almost every Friday since then! Happy to see some food diversity coming to the area!

i stopped by when it just opened and i thought there was too much cinnamon but broth is perfect now. best decor of all the area vietnamese restaurant without a doubt. delicious bowl of large pho with tendon cooked perfectly. macaroons are sweet and very rich that pair very nicely with a cup of coffee

Two hours later, and I still have happy pho belly. My best friend mentioned wanting to get pho today. As a fan of Vietnamese food, I've had pho before but never been impressed with it. Apparently, I hadn't had good pho before today. I turned to Yelp to figure out nearby restaurants as it didn't make sense to criss-cross the shores today; Pho 7 Spice was within a 10-mile radius and boasted one of two four-and-a-half star ratings. Pho 7 Spice is tucked in Hampden Center. The strip mall has seen better days, as evidenced by the number of vacant storefronts between Five Guys and Planet Fitness. As a result, parking was not an issue at all. The most difficult part of the trip was navigating the strange traffic flow of the plaza entrance. Walking in, I was hit with the most amazing smell. It was enough to entice but definitely not overpowering. The restaurant is small; the occupancy sign indicates that the limit is 82. We were one of four or five (at most) tables the entire time we were there. The decor is very clean, minimal, and modern. The artwork on the wall is predominantly simple photographs of single ingredients. The charcoal gray walls and tinted windows create a very calm setting. There was music playing while we were there - assorted soft/classic rock - but it was never intrusive. We were able to hold a conversation without shouting at one another. This is one of the first restaurants I've visited in the area where the food is given the spotlight instead of being overdressed to the point of leaving you wondering what all the fuss is about. Within a moment of walking in, we were greeted. We chose a table and were shortly presented with menus and drink options. Our waitress (is it still okay to use that word? Because I'm going to. I like it.) was polite and personable. She offered us appetizers as well as time and recommendations. He got the pho tai chin (rare beef and lean brisket), I got the pho tai nam (rare beef and flank steak) and an order of spring rolls to share. Both bowls came out quickly as did our appetizer and drinks. We never felt rushed through the meal and were able to have a leisurely lunch. We both commented on how everything was perfectly seasoned. I'm one that usually adds sriracha as a reflex, and this was the first time that the thought never even occurred to me. The broth was perfectly seasoned, the rice noodles weren't overdone, and the coriander (one of the few things I abhor in Asian cuisine) was a bright complement instead of an overpowering imposition. As we were finishing up, our waitress came by to offer us dessert in the form of French macarons. Let me explain - macarons are hit or miss with me. I love the idea of them because they're so pretty. To me, they're desserts for a little girl's tea party. That's pretty much where the love ends. Any time I encounter them in real life, the flavors are nothing I want to put anywhere near my face. Either that, or they're so cloyingly sweet I feel myself nearing a diabetic coma after the first bite. When I noticed the option for a salted caramel macaron, I nearly wept tears of joy. You could put 'salted caramel' beside the word 'lobotomy' and I'd likely sign up. Not really, but I definitely felt inspired to try the macaron. I don't know why no one ever thought to serve macarons with Vietnamese food before. After a light lunch, a macaron added just the right amount of sweetness. The salted caramel option did not disappoint. It was a perfect combination of dense, flavorful filling between two light, slightly crisp little cookies. If it weren't for my newfound self-control (as well as a recent visit to the scale at the doctor's office), I would easily have eaten a hundred of them (and fallen into the aforementioned coma) and not have complained once. I have made it my solemn vow to now only return to Pho 7 Spice, but also to do everything in my power to help this place succeed. To call it a hidden treasure is an understatement. My only regret is that I can't give it more than five stars.

I used to come here when they first opened used to be my favorite spot. After working almost an entire year outta town I couldn't wait to give my favorite pho spot a visit. Wow I was disappointed!!!! The food quality has drastically changed. My usual pho is rare beef and it has completely changed. My food arrived and the beef was already cooked and filled with disgusting fatty dried up tasteless pieces of meat which was mostly fat!!! I picked almost every piece of meat out of my soup and the server didn't even mention that I had an entire pile of fat sky high clearly in front of me. The meat that was in there was tiny scraps and was not rare. The pho also used to have a distinctive flavor of anise and it totally lacked. Did they even add it!!!! Server was decent but seemed unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine. I basically paid 10 something for a bowl of broth and rice noodles. This used to be my favorite spot but it is now comparable to the Asian mall on 13 the street . Won't be back!!!

I normally only order the Veggie/Vegan noodle soup, but today I tried the Com Suon!! Excellent choice as the meat was nice and moist and the added special sauce with some veggies on the side!!! Hands down the best meal I've had in awhile.

The Special Pho dish is exactly what you'd expect, broth is well prepared and flavorful. Small size is perfect for one, ratio of noodles and meat is excellent. Paired with hot jasmine tea, it's ideal for lunch or dinner (even though this is traditionally a breakfast dish in Vietnam). Quiet atmosphere, speedy service.

Pho 7 Spice is a hidden secret that is a must try for Vietnamese in the Capitol region. The food is consistently delicious. Always flavorful, always fresh, always steaming hot. The restaurant itself is spotless and tastefully designed and decorated . Cherry on top? The owner whips up French macarons which compete with those delicate light cookies found in France.

I hate to give out bad reviews, but Pho 7 Spice greatly failed all expectations. While the food was fine, the service was AWFUL. We came on a Saturday afternoon (actually around 11am); the restaurant had one other table dining when we entered. It took 55 minutes for our lunch order to arrive at the table after being placed. Almost an hour wait for some bowls of soup! I really wanted to like this place after reading such positive reviews and after reading that it was family-friendly. However, after our dining experience, I can say that we won't be going back, nor would we recommend others go (especially those that have young children).

This place is great. I've been searching for a pho place w/ vegetarian broth, and they have it! The portions are large, prices are reasonable, and the service is always excellent. The broth is flavorful without add-ins, but they provide them for those that like to add a little something. I visit here as often as I can convince my boyfriend to go.

Delicious, wonderful, fragrant Pho. Everything else on the menu is just there to push you into ordering a large order of special Pho. All the tantalizing appetizers, the sneaky rice dishes, they want you to tempt fate, to deny yourself the one thing you opened the door to consume, the one thing that makes the little beads of sweat on your forehead get just a little bit fuller, glistening jewels of indecision... Order a drink, if you must, however there is plenty to drink in the bowl placed before you - and drink you shall!

I can't believe I haven't written a review about this place yet! To say I love this place is an understatement! I absolutely adore getting pho here! It has even turned into a once a week tradition for my family! My family and I have searched for a place to get Vietnamese food that was up to our standards! -clean -taste good -friendly staff -great Vietnamese iced coffee Pho 7 spice has all of these and more! The other things on their menu that are to die for are; Jasmine Ice tea, Spring rolls, homemade macaroons (YES HOMEMADE MACAROONS), vermicelli dishes and much, much more!

Who'd a thunk we could find a good Vietnamese shop in the wilds of Central Pa? Certainly not this cowboy. But, having exhausted most of the other options in the Carlisle/Mechanicsburg vicinage near the Turnpike, Yelp alerted us to Pho 7 Spice just a few miles north on Carlisle Pike. We had the time and decided to go for a bowl of Pho to tame the beasts growling in our bellies. Angel greeted us at the door with a warm smile. She was well named. She showed us our table, oriented us to the menu, took our drink order, and was brightly curious when I mentioned I had been to Vietnam and loved the cuisine and people. We kept it simple with small bowls of Pho Ga (chicken) and Pho Tai Nam (Steak and Flank). The drinks and soup accoutrements arrived promptly. They were freshly green and alive. My mildly salty Preserved Lemonade was a thirst quencher and pleasantly different than the standard variety of squeezed lemon and sugar. The Pho arrived steamy and loaded with noodles, onions, and beef. The Chicken version likewise, with lots of chunky cluckcluck. The broth was amply savory without the need of any help in the spice department, but adding the Sprouts, Thai Basil, Jalapeno slices, and a squirt of lime boosted the oral festivities. They were excellent bowls of Pho. We didn't have time to linger over VN coffee or other end of meal possibilities, but Pho 7 Spice has my attention and I am excited to return there on my many drives out to Carlisle to pick up my son. There is much more on the menu to be tried. The food, along with the wonderful hospitality provided by Angel and her compatriots, will bring me back many times, and doubtlessly end up in 5 Star territory. Simply, Phonominal!

Pho had great aroma but lacked depth of flavor. Portion size was good as was the service. Appreciated the ambiance and cleanliness of the dining area and the staff was really pleasant. I've had better so will probably not return.

I am relatively new to the Pho-scene. I was never a huge fan of soup growing up, but when I was living in Memphis, my brother and I played disc golf on a really cold day in November 2014 and decided to get some soup afterwards to warm-up. We didn't want any run-of-the-mill soup and sandwich place, so we found a local Vietnamese restaurant that served pho -- something I had wanted to try for a long time. This was the beginning of my love for pho. Food: I have only been to Pho 7 Spice once, and it was with my dad in February of 2105 following my relocation to the Harrisburg area. Similarly to when I first had pho in Memphis, it was a bitterly cold day and we had just finished moving a bunch of furniture from the truck to the house. We were cold and hungry. After some deliberation, I decided that I needed some pho to warm-up. Also, for me, I just feel better after a nice hot bowl of pho. I typically order the same thing every time I get pho, Pho Tai Nam. It is essentially soup with beef (flank or other rare meat that is placed in the bowl raw, and then the hot soup is ladled over it -- cooking it to medium rare). I was really pleased with my Pho Tai Nam at Pho 7 SPice. I thought it had great flavor, but it seemed a little bit watered down. Despite that, the flavor was really nice, it warmed m up, and there was an abundance of meat and noodles -- which I love. Some places really skimp on the meat and noodles. This pho, like most others, came with an accessory plate of lime wedges, bean sprouts, Thai Basil, and jalapeno peppers. I love steeping all of these in my soup for about 3-5 minutes before eating. It totally enhances the flavor to sublime level. I like the bean sprouts because they add a really nice crunch to the soup -- which changes up the generally soft texture of the pho ingredients a bit. Food: 4 / 5 (Though very good, it did seem to lack some of the potent flavor I love -- almost like it was watered down a bit to stretch a dollar) Service: I was pleased with our server. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt; but she was also a little stand-offish, and routine. I know, I know...it is hard to love serving tables. I served tables for a long time, so I understand their plight; but that never stopped me from giving excellent service with great personality. I like feeling welcomed where I eat -- like I am a family member coming over for supper. I didn't get that from her. Service: 3 / 5 Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere in here. It was modern, sleek, comfortable, and even a little bit intimate. It felt totally-chill here. The long day of moving furniture just melted away as I sipped my steaming bowl of pho. I loved eating here -- so much so, that I would never get take-out, unless I absolutely had to. Atmosphere: 5 / 5 Price: For a small bowl of pho it was like $7. For a large it was $8. I could never, ever eat a large; but last time it occurred to me -- for one dollar more, take the extra home and have it the next day! Although I did not do that on this particular occasion, next time I definitely will. For the quality, I think it was a good value. Price: 4 / 5 Final Thoughts: Although I really loved the atmosphere at Pho 7 Spice, I will likely try some other restaurants in the area serving pho to see if I can get a quality product equal to what I got at my favorite place in Memphis. Despite that though, this place really does a good job, and I fully believe that some of the poor reviews are a little ridiculous and not truly indicitive of the quality of the food or service.

This place serves up some delicious Pho. Limited menu. Clean. Really nice dining area. You wouldn't realize based on the exterior. Service is friendly. Food is served up quickly. A really good spot.
